She spend most time looking outside on who’s walking past whilst cutting my hair then actually looking at my hair while cutting it. She then have the nerve to rudely say my hair was crazy. When i first sat down I asked if I could take my parting out the way I normally had it, in which she replied no it’s ok. She then started cutting my fringe, I then had to point out I hadn’t even taken my parting out and forcefully asked her for her comb so I can take my parting out. She cut my hair to short then what I said. She thinned my hair out from one side more than the other. She ruined my hair and the customer service was rubbish. Karolina Serafin: Staff were friendly and the place looks good but I don't recommend their colour services, the permanent colour actually lasts 2 weeks and then it looks like 6 weeks old colour. Service description says it's suitable for white hair coverage, I came out of salon with visible gray hair. Gave it second chance, came back after 2 months, mentioned the colour didn't work for white hair last time, they said they will change product proportion, I came home with even more gray hair than last time. It looked alright in the salon but then I noticed it at home. I had permanent colour on roots and toner on ends. Toner naturally fades after two weeks which is fine, it's the permanent colour on roots that I expected to last longer and that it will cover gray hair. This is just frustrating and sad that after 2 weeks from the visit you feel like you need to see haidresser again. Not acceptable for that price.Service:Hair coloring
mandi hales: Terri did my hair, she did the cut and colour and it was the first time she’s done it. Terri was so lovely and could have sat there chatting all day. She managed my expectations and made suggestions that would work based on what I was trying to achieve and I’ve been so pleased with the results. She added a really dark blonde into my hair using foils and then did a blonde framing on my face which made it feel modern. And it’s the first time I’ve felt comfortable and confident with my hair without wearing extensions- she used so many nice strengthening and rebonding treatments and techniques. It was just shy of my bum when I went in for my cut/colour. I showed her photos & we looked through the colour chart, she picked colours based on what I was drawn to. It was clear she wanted to keep my hair in the best condition possible, particularly as my hair was virgin hair after not colouring it for 5yrs, so she recommended semi-permanent colours. It came out beyond incredible, she mixed the perfect colours & toned the blonde to a gorgeous caramel colour. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She’s passionate about hair & was excited for the end result. For the cut she put a fringe in, layers in the front & thinned out some of my hair to make it easier for me to dry. It’s the best cut/colour I’ve ever had, with the best stylist I’ve ever had. I have the most beautiful balayage, which is blended to perfection. Can’t thank her enough for not just taking such good care of my hair, but for making it so beautiful too.As for the actual salon, they’re a wonderful bunch of people; friendly & caring. The salon is great for wheelchairs; lots of space inside, which is fab as I find most salons either inaccessible or hard to navigate. Usually they’re so small my wheelchair is often in the way or I struggle to keep it next to me/somewhere near making it difficult to relax as I have to keep an eye out in case my wheelchair needs moving, I often end up having to walk to the sinks & back which causes pain. I found T&G really easy to get around, lots of space on the shop-floor so my wheelchair was left next to me & wasn’t in the way. I was able to wheel over to sinks with ease. I’d never found a salon that I could use the bathroom in prior to visiting T&G, their bathroom is wheelchair accessible (keep in mind there’s no grab rails so you may have to hold onto the sink to transfer over to the toilet) which is great. However, the colourist did a full colour. She commented on how healthy my hair was. The colour was good, but I was shocked at the total price of £149! The cut was not what I asked for, was too short and straight, when I had asked for body and flicks. Nearly two months later, I can't do anything with my hair - it looks awful! Mel lloyd: Had bad experience here.Had my weave done 3 week ago for my birthday paid £60 for weave and bought hair from her i normally buy my own hair but she said no need she has hair. 2 week later the hair started falling out from roots and my sides, Went back to see her screaming because the job was poor and to painfull. instead of a good customer service ( she said ok i will do it for you again but you have to pay £40 more) ?? for whatafter 20 mins of screaming at each other i knew i would hurt this woman.. NO REFUND. KEEP AWAY.All shes after is your money- Nigerian women work is awful.
True Youu: I was taken here by the hair lady next door- They suggested weave with rings sown together for european hair- She did it so tight- i couldnt stop itchying. i asked my partner to check only to find my hair was coming from roots and blood running down. We took it off asap with my hair all over the floor.. I havent stopped crying since. No refund Nothing.Salon is dirty and non professional.stay awayEven 1 star is to much. I have been to other african salon but this is way by far the worst. They dont have licence to trade no qualification no hygiene safety. BEWARE.

The stylist didn’t pay attention to details, although what I requested was pretty straightforward, he has done lots of errors … It costed me £27 but wasn’t worth it ...Also the lady who shampooed my hair nearly took off my skin, not gentle at all !!!The only positive feedback was that the stylist was friendly but overall unpleasant experience, will never go back.
Lisa KM: If you want a restyle then Manny is your man! I started using him in 1988 and no one has cut my hair since. He never rushes a cut, he likes perfection. He will make you feel a million dollars. Plenty of banter too! A very friendly salon and worth every penny. You will not be disappointed.
