I can't wait to sample their hospitality when the site opens at the start of the season . I've notice so many improvements from the last time I visited , it shows the owners have their customers pleasure in mind

Pitches are generously sized and site is good value.Restrooms: Toilets and showers were regularly cleaned and well supplied with hot water. Never had to wait for use of the block. I believe that the block will be improved over the winter. This will be welcome.

Stephanie Lovecock
Stephanie Lovecock: I decided to go and check out rosebay after reading the good reviews as a bi male I can honestly say from the moment I arrived everything and everyone were really friendly non pushy and no attitude . John showed me around on a golf cart I got to see all the facilities and what it was all about before deciding and paying my money again I’m glad I did go however I went on the two hottest days of the year so far and I had got a little sunstroke crashed out on my tent bed all day the next day until it was cool enough to take the tent down the next evening I would have stayed if I had not felt a bit worse for wear lol as I was leaving everyone was sat round the fire pit chatting and getting to know each other so I know I missed out on a good evening but the main thing is now I’m a member I’ll be back again and again and again felt safe and at home with like minded people 👍👍👍💋💋💋😎😎😎

Malcolm M: Great friendly Naturist place for men who are bi curious, bi or gay to relax and chill. My first time naked in public and a very freeing experience. I was a day visitor but intend to stay over camping next time. There are private areas to enjoy each other if desired but no pressure at all. If you're prudish, it's not for you. It's just an easygoing, relaxing place.
alex joseph
alex joseph: A good couple of days the management and staff are very helpful and friendly.. hope to return soon..

Olwyn Wishart: Excellent
David Fisher
David Fisher: Lovely location and sight. Been several times. However, this year started well, wardens polite and helpful, site up to usual good standard. Unfortunately, had a problem with the site manager. We have three small well behaved dogs (he pointed out we have three dogs on a few occasions). Long story, but too keep it short, walking on side of road on short leads, dog went to toilet on grass verge. Bagged and bined in provided dog waste bin. Later stood on corner of empty pitch waiting for traffic and people to pass. Then confronted by sight Manager John, only know this because of his badge, he wouldn't let me know if name when asked. Explained I was waiting for traffic too pass, he just kept saying keep dogs off pitches, no explanation, just repeating himself. (Mentioned three dogs a few times). I didn't become involved with him, just walked away. Thought he was being abit over the top, but I kept away from any empty pitches ( don't go near occupied pitches).Later in the day wife with dogs on leads waiting while I unload car, think he was watching because he was there again in minutes. I carried on unloading the car, so this time he started on my wife, same as early, word for word. She tried to talk to him but couldn't make sense of him. In the end it became heated. We decided to cut our break short and end for home. Just stating what happen, so anyone else visiting with dogs this year beware of the site manager! A difficult person to understand!

Freerk Kootstra

Ferry Meadows in Nene Park: what do users think?
Julie Fisher
Julie Fisher: Holiday spoilt! If you have a dog be careful not to walk across any empty pitches. First encounter with the warden. Husband was waiting for cars to pass and was told to get off the pitch (he was standing on the corner). Second encounter I took my little chihuahuas out with me to get some bags from the car. With seconds I was being 'told off' for allowing my dogs to walk in an empty pitch. Please understand it's not the rules/site policy that is an issue here. It's the way in which we were spoken to, we are in ours 60's but the Warden spoke to us like very naughty children, even stating "that he'd had to have words with my husband". Such a shame, I've loved staying here in the past but I won't be booking another stay. I would normally just forget about things like this but as I was so upset I have made a complaint.

Diana Mooney: In the last two years we've visited a few times. It is absolutely amazing. You can see the animals are well cared for. The workshop workers are very friendly and passionate about their trade. There is also a soft play that is clean and well maintained and an amazing play park. They also have a café and shop, however you can bring your own food as there are many eating areas. We are actually considering getting the yearly pass as there's so much to do that you will want to come back.

Bex: My son and I absolutely love it here and have been going for years. We visited for the Christmas experience with friends and it was absolutely magical. There was so much to do for the price, the staff were so friendly as always and the kids loved seeing Santa of course! We will definitely be back for the Christmas experience again. Inside was beautifully decorated, the kids were able to write letters to Santa, have a Christmas story, toast marshmallows, have photos on Santa's sleigh and spend as long as they wanted going round the farm too!In the summer, the natural stream area is lovely for the kids to play in (and the dog!) The fact that it is dog friendly is a huge plus. We love the mill and the animals, and the park area is absolutely massive. We love having this on our doorstep!

Lynne McBride: We had a wonderful day at Sacrewell Farm on Sunday. We went as a family , including my two grandchildren aged 4 and 2. There was so much to do and see. The children loved the farm animals and the play areas. There was something of interest everywhere we went. For a small additional charge we booked a seat on the tractor ride. For the children this bumpy ride around parts of the farm that they wouldn’t normally see was just one of the highlights of the day. There are good facilities for children including several toilets about the farm. It is well maintained and a pleasure to visit.

The nightly visit of the wild horned owl were amazing and made my 14year olds trip (along with nightly telescope star gazing in the field next to the site). The wardens were the nicest, friendliest couple we have met on any site and made our holiday even more enjoyable, so welcoming and chatty....10 out of 10 from us all for this place!

It was the wardens wonderful welcome and friendliness that made it for us.They clearly enjoyed their job and it shows in their respect for everything they did.by far the best wardens we have come across in years of caravaning. Well Done.

betty swollocks
betty swollocks: a lovely site, fishing and a swimming pool.toilets and showers were spotless.the wardens denise and dave are so welcoming and helpful.the only issue we had was the lady owner spending over 4 hours cutting the grass.as its a small quiet site and we were only there for 2 nights this spoiled our stay.there is no need to grass cut 50% of the site in one day.if I was mobile enough I would of had words with her. thats the only reason for 3 stars.dont be put off though as this is a well set up site with a fire pit and undercover bbq area.we would go again.

Davey Matthews
Davey Matthews: Only came down for a short visit to see my inlaws who had taken our children their gran children away to Strattons Farm Campsite for the weekend, and from what I saw when having a little walk round the site while taking my father inlaws dog for a walk I have to say it is a beautiful little gem of a campsite. It has everything you could need from the park and play area for the kiddies (which is where my boy spent all of his time making new friends...) from the outdoor communal firepit area and outdoor eating/bbq area with a massive flatscreen TV (would be good for major sporting events) the toilets and shower blocks are amazing and very clean as was the wash up area... the swimming pool was also a major winner for the kiddies too they loved their time in the pool playing and splashing around, the whole park in general is very well looked after and everyone is very cheerful and keen to helpout, but the part that won it over for me was the fishing lake ( being a very keen angler I would spend many hours down there wasting the day away) all in all we were very impressed and myself my wife and the kids will definitely be back for a stay of our own very very soon
