Airborne Platforms UK Ltd - CAA Approved Drone Training and Services: what do users think?
Keith Myers: Chris taught me everything I know about how to fly drones. He's patient, has expert knowledge around drone flying, and an all-round top guy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris, because he gives you so much of his time and is always sharing news, tips, and the latest safety reports about flying safely. I would give 10 stars if I could!
Lucky Pirate: This is the second time I have studied with the guys at Airborne, from my PfCO last year to the new A2 and GVC courses this year. After the experience last year, there was no doubt about whom I was going to do my GVC with. The courses are well structured but more than this, the support from Chris and the rest of the team is absolutely impeccable. These guys don’t just teach it, they live it, and it really comes through. They aren’t teaching you to pass a test - they are teaching you to be able to thrive in the industry.
Phil senior: Can't praise Chris enough for the help and advice he's given my business over the last coupe of years, in both the initial commercial drone pilot training and qualification and then keeping up to date with the regulations as they change from year to year. If you are looking for quality, professional training, then you won't find better.
Ardu Claassens: Top experience with training. They go above and beyond to assist the students. Keep up the good work.
Jane Sharp: Great experience studying for my GVC and A2 CofC drone certificates. Chris and the team were really friendly, relaxed and super helpful :)
Richard Whitworth: A well structured learning pathway with a very friendly and accommodating support team.I enjoyed the no pressure self marking process. Whilst it makes for a quiz type environment initially, easing you into the course, it reaffirms the learning and puts you in a good place for the critical assessments.Everyone in the team is really approachable and able to communicate their deep knowledge of the flying industry, especially UAS, and what’s required to help you progress.Overall it was a great process for me and I’d recommend Airborne Platforms UK to everyone.Richard W
gregjamesd: Chris and he’s team are absolutely amazing. I started my course a while back and really needed to do things in my own time what with a busy day job and other things going on in life. Chris was super patient through my course, always there when I needed assistance, but at the same time gave me a push to gain my drone licence all in good time before the new 2021 legislations took effect. The course work was really informative and by the end ingrained into my head, so when it came to the final exam the questions were second nature to answer. When it came to my final practical flight exam in Peterborough this was with Mick, who again is a really cool lovely guy and made me feel very relaxed on the day. The weather wasn’t great when I got there, even though in London it wasn’t too bad. Mick was patient, gave it time for the weather to clear and luckily we had a window of clearer sky’s where I could do my flight test and pass with near on flying colours.I couldn’t recommend Airborn Platforms enough to anyone looking for a commercial UAV licence, or even someone simply requiring further drone knowledge with a none commercial certificate. Anyone who flys drones should invest time in being more knowledgeable in the safety rules and regulations. It makes you think twice before even powering up the DJI app. Thanks again to Chris and he’s team. A true 5 star service!
James Masterton: Having done the theory side of an expensive PfCO course with another company nearly 5 years ago and not completing the flight test, I recently decided to take the bull by the horns and finally get it done. I discovered Airborne Platforms UK when I saw some people in a drone group on Facebook talking about them and how great the course was. 6 months on and I have just received my operational authorisation from the CAA, having passed the theory and practical exams. Chris Marshall and the team were extremely helpful and were available any time if I needed to ask any questions. They also have regular online group meetings and run through everything needed in this ever changing industry. I did the studying on their online portal and was also able to sit the theory exam online and via Zoom. This course is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their commercial permissions from the CAA.
Denise Hooning-Nugent: Having entered into the course run by Airborne Platforms without any prior knowledge or experience with the drone world i am happy to say that I have completed the courses which have led to CAA PfCO, GVC and finally A2C of C. As shown on my course record I have achieved a pass rate of 95%, bearing in mind that Airborne Platforms UK Ltd have been my only source of reference in achieving this successful outcome, this tells me the course content and delivery have exceeded my expectations. Thanks to all at Airborne Platforms UK Ltd
Sean Duffy: Chris and the team couldn't be more helpful, course content was great with loads of information and being online I was able to study when it suited me.Always available for any support needed and Chris was great when it came to doing my practical.Thoroughly recommend.
Dennis Ash: Amazing support from Chris and the gang taking my A2 CofC, the course content and support made passing the course a doddle.
Shaun Bennett: As a current PfCO holder I wanted to be ready for the advent of the A2 Certificate of Competence introduction in 2021 and to take full advantage of the commercial opportunities that holding both would bring to me and my business. It is imperative when trying to establish yourself as a credible prospective supplier that you continue with relevant training, qualifications and apply that Continuous Personal Development mentality, whatever stage of business you are at.I found the training platform offered by Airborne Platforms UK to be the ideal solution for someone transitioning into a new business (ad)venture. The ability to study online, at my own pace, and to complete an invigilated examination during the present time of social distancing and movement restrictions was invaluable to me and the course content was very well compiled. It flowed and the abilty to check knowledge along the way with built in questions and an online mock exam were the perfect balance. Not forgetting evening interactive sessions, specific to the subject matter, I have no hesitation in recommending Chris and the team at Airborne. This will be the first place I look for my next training requirement.
Philip Gowers: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI looked around at various PfCO/GVC courses, decided on Airborne Platforms UK which was a great decision.. The course is very comprehensive and the support from Chris Marshall, Denis Stretton and Mick Wass has been 1st Class, I cannot recommend highly enough..
Geoff: This company has been absolutely excellent. The help and support that I have received along the way has been brilliant. Chris and the team really know the profession inside out and the passion that they have for providing quality training really does shine through. Thank you so much!
Peter Duckmanton: Chris and all the team at Airborne Platforms have been great in helping me with my GVC course and subsequent PFCO Authorisation. I found the online course really intuative and the ability to use the portal to study a bit whenever I wanted to be useful fitting in and around everything else. Any problems or issues I had I got a fast response from Chris usually by a phone call to go through the issue and resolve super quickly. The weekly meeting sessions were a goldmine of information and great to be able to get Chris and Denis obvious expertise on problems that can come up I hadn't even thought of, they are both very knowledgeable and happy to help. When it came time for my practical, Mick and Chris were very encouraging and put me at ease quickly and it was quickly apparent that they had me as a student as their prime concern.Overall I would recommend Airborne Platforms to anyone looking for a course to fit around you with excellent friendly help and support whenever you need it.
Hill Start: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Ashley Harwood: From start to finish my experience with Airbourne Platforms UK has been exceptional. From my initial call with Chris to now after the completion of my PfCO, I have felt an incredibly valued customer, feeling I have the opportunity to ask for help, advice and support day or night. I would strongly recommend Chris, and the Airbourne Platform team if you’re looking to obtain your commercial drone pilots licence or one of his many courses available. Five star service.
David Margo: I live in London and wanted to find a Drone Training School. After searching the internet and speaking to the various schools, Chris at Airborne Platforms gave me his time and reassurance, he thoroughly explained how the course worked and as I live in London, finding a location that was not too far from home was important. The theory part of the course was very comprehensive and thoroughly and easy to navigate. When I went to take my practical exam, Chris put me at ease and gave me all the time I needed. I want to thank Chris and the team for all their help and assistance (including the training videos) in obtaining my PfCO. Thank you!
JR Catipon: Airborne Platforms offers the top service for qualifying you from recreational hobbyist to qualified PfCO holder.Mentor Chris Marshall guided me thoroughly in the CAA requirements. The comprehensive online course is well presented that any fears beforehand about the required task ahead was quickly squashed. Not just a mentor to get you passed on the course but an above and beyond guidance that will also assist you in your professional career as a drone pilot.
Neil Wallis-Tennant: Following 3 months of C-19 Lockdown, I researched training bodies for the purpose of gaining my ‘Drone Licence’ or officially the PfCO. Something drew me to Airborne Platforms, something personal and not mass-marketing. Airborne Platforms have been helpful, informative and virtually always on call. Whether your stuck on a particular module, completing your Ops Manual, wanting advice with flying your new toy, or requiring that little bit of encouragement, Airborne Platforms have always provided. On top of that, on a Monday evening, the group/school gets together with a mixture of structured learning, guest speakers, tips and tricks to drive you forward in both the course and your future business requirements. I recommend Airborne Platforms for your training needs. Thanks.Neil WT NWT Visuals Ltd
LuckyPirate DroneworX: I can not recommend the guys at Airborne enough. The training model was easy to get into and the support all the way through the course was nothing short of exceptional. Easy going expertise, delivered in just the right way for your own personal requirements. You just don’t get that 1-on-1 level of training / coaching nowadays, focusing on the individual end result, let alone for the price. Unlike other training providers I looked at, it quickly became apparent that Airborne are training you to be successful working in the drone industry, not just to pass a test. They genuinely care about the industry and the people they are looking after. Add to this, the community spirit built-on Facebook and weekly Zoom calls with other learners and graduates, it really is something special. Thank you to Chris & Denis especially. If you have any doubts about jumping on board, just do it. And do it with these guys. You will not regret it.

Peterborough College: Part of the Inspire Education Group: what do users think?
Holly Marie: vile college, i was so excited to come here to start a new year in september 2022. i went for only a week because unfortunately my toxic ex decided to follow me there and was harassing me, threatened me, his new friends followed my 11 year old sister home from secondary school. the college blamed the victim as always and they suggested ME to leave to transfer to another college, he got away with it as per usual, he didn’t receive any punishment whatsoever only because he gets special treatment because he had a difficult year in 2021, haven’t we all? so basically i had to leave, college didn’t do anything about the bullying at all and let him get away with it, im now always at home not getting an education because of him. i will be suing this college.
Nathan Char: Great place to study
Ebrahim Salem: Ohhh long time 😎😎 I graduated in July 2007 🎓
Leon Lin: Terrible and awful college because I have applied lv3 courses, they have accepted my offer but at the third week they tell me go down to lv2 courses because you didn’t pass GCSE English. Recommended don’t go to Boston College.🤬🤬🤬 l wish they’re need give back my one year education
Flynn “Cinny” Diamond: Excellent facilities
Paige Gurney: HR is very pushy, impatient with "candidates" and extremely rude.Steer clear from here.
Beth xx: So bad honestly the worst collage ever, do bot recommend !
Sinem B.: They're working with an unprofessional HR team that don't know how to speak to applicants. Rude staff. I suggest people think twice before applying.
Varen E. Bridges: I enjoy the college overall but very disorganised even during a bomb threat it wasn’t a good protocol and leaving everybody clueless when a situation happens
Olīvija Jēģere: Man patika
dizzy cooper: Watched macbeth at college. Very impressed with all involved.
Gillian Patterson: Went for a consultation on having my hair coloured, whilst my friend had a re-style. Students and staff were friendly and helpful. All booked in now for after Easter and friends hair looks amazing.
Hitch 59: First visit lovely and very helpful staff 😀
Aebvtivs: 3 star rating as I went for an open day. Don't know anything other that what class was available.
Wayne Page: It's a college what more is there to say really.
Peter Mann. golf: Great place to study and a great college
Lou La: Honestly, not a great school. I did a media course, and, don’t get me wrong, it was awesome. But, the courses aren’t the issues, the staff are. Most of the staff that I encountered were rude, and disrespectful. I would name drop, but that’ll just cause issues. If the staff tried a little more on actually engaging the students and treating them with respect, I’m sure there would be nicer reviews. But, with every bad member, there was a good member. I only ever had 6 staff members teach me, and of those 7, 4 were actually worth their salt. They went out of their way to help. 2 of the remaining 3 were ok, nothing special. They turned up to work, taught, and left. But 1 teacher I never got on with. They were always rude and late and just generally unlikeable.
Winter Boy: Hated going to college here, none of the staff ever cared about bullying, I felt forced to skip lessons and when I fell behind, none of the teachers cared enough to actually help me catch up, leaving me to drop out and with a £3k debt I have no hope of ever paying off.
Jazmin Rose: terrible college.
Allbrahimi Juma: Nice place.
Corey Parak: it’s a late review but this college is absolutely shambolic. so glad i moved colleges which is SO much better. avoid avoid avoid! especially the animal care course

Hampton College: what do users think?
Krilligy: Racism is not taken seriously as a kid in yr9 had screamed the n word 3 consecutive and had gotten into to absolutely no trouble from the school, this school does not take care of discrimination. Bullying is also happening in this school to certain ethnicities
Naman: I've attended this school for GCSE and A level. The teachers support you well enough in your studies, rest is on you really. Canteen is very overpriced; bullying is a serious concern; but once you get to Year 12/13 the school seems rather pleasant. This is a pretty good school overall, take a look at the covid cohort.
Jokubas Arbocius: Some teachers can be extremely nice, but some students can really Ruin your day. Bullying isn't really taken seriously at this school. But in general I do think this school is alright. But they really do have to change some aspects of this...
Tobi Aigbe: This school isn't good all the teacher aren't good
Ldm waleed: if you want a good school, don't come here.
Arturs Zaharenkovs: Terrible school, fire Mr cook , serves dog food for £3 uncomfortable uniform.
Alex _: About as good as you can expect from an underfunded school in Peterborough. It has great teachers and a decent variety of courses, and that's all the good things I can say.Cleanliness is poor (trashed toilets, chewing gum under the tables, glue sticks on the ceiling, etc.), many students are badly behaved, and the administration is more concerned with confiscating kids' hoodies than with reducing violence or bullying. The food is good but quite overpriced. The teaching is good enough that your child will get solid 7s and As if they study well, but they likely won't have a good time doing it.I can't stress enough not to send your child here if they're disabled, I've known several who had to move town because of bullying. Otherwise, do what you want but don't expect anything outstanding. It's possible the school has improved some of these issues since I left, but I wouldn't vouch for them.
Nadine McCormick: A great experience being shown around a potential school for my children
Olivia Max: Not a very good school bad teaching and all the teachers are horrible
Isabela Deez: I guess it’s ok just it’s too much bullies but Hampton college primary is worser-
Jayumi: My child got karate chopped in the neck by a naruto wannabe and i had to take him to hospital, there is no food, the teachers take my child's packed lunch and the headteacher admitted to liking children so I'm withdrawing him next week. Also shout out to my man Luca he did nothing wrong.
Lee Macfarlane: Without doubt the worst school in Peterborough bullies everywhere and the school does nothing liaring teachers all of them.Do not send your child here
Ashe Ishmael: its kinda bussin but not really just dont talk to the year 7s they built diff
Aj Aren Sharma: Alright school but had quite a lot of problems. Mixed experience there with teachers and fellow students but I had many fond memories there.
NiA Ahmed: Management poor, teachers unable to deal with situations as a team, lack communication.Do not send your child to this school
TacticalCookie :3: I go here to learn
Sharkboy0909swea playz: I go school there ha lol
Lukania Moon: It's a great school in my opinion but it doesnt have enough food for every child, so some of them just starve until they get dinner
Sienna swift: I think it is great there are the cloud members who help the people who struggled and they look after you and all the teachers are nice to the great people miss mucfalern is great and mr noris and more 😊.
Will you know my name, though?: gonna go here this september heard from the google reviews these people dont know how to use stars properly and said good things about this place and gave it 1 star lol.
Pinky XD: I like the school and the staff in parlaris is nice , miss magaretie is cool from jj

Thomas Deacon Academy: what do users think?
Jaydn Hilliard: TDA more like TDAIDS
Johny jonhy Yaspapa: Went to this school from year 7 till year 11 and the only problem I had is the teachers. I had bad experiences here interacting with the teachers and noticed that they do show some signs of racism in them however I do not want to share any of these experiences. All I can say is that if your not white then this school is most likely not for you.
Jagdeep Singh: great school
Chardonnay Watts: the schools okay but we can not go to the toilet only at lunch we have 30 minute break out of 6 hours they say you should go before lesson but they you get a late mark at your next class and I think the nonly phone rule is olay but the students should be able to collecycle there phone at 2:45 the SAME day
Mohammed Iqbal: They legit pick on my son
Libby Watson: Connor was the king at this academy
Suria Wahidi: It was a lovely experience
Mohammed Ladak: A fantastic school with great students

Risvi Yoosuf: Went for a cricket game.. love pitch and nice outfield
Alix Hopewell: The school is amazing
Patryk Stanko: It's nice :-)
AlanThe KillerGamer: #BEST SCHOOL. IM GOING NEXT YOUR
Xx Immy Xx: In my opinion this school is horrible. Toilets are not clean tissue on the ceilings and sanitery towels everywhere and the teachers dont support me in any way
Natali Edgell: Strong leader not afraid of making the right decisions in difficult circumstances. Good supportive environment. Could improve on communications and clearer policies.
xbilbo swegginz: no freedom........
Ammar Laiq: Absolutely disgraceful. Full of immature kids dossing around. It's pathetic!!
