Sal: Tracey and her team from The Copper Kettle provided outside catering at a recent family event. They cooked and served a magnificent afternoon tea which looked stunning and tasted amazing. The homemade sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and cakes were delicious and our guests appreciated the unlimited tea and coffee. They provided stands, table cloths and vintage crockery. They set up the event beautifully and washed up and tidied away thoughtfully. Everyone who attended was impressed, especially those who had specific dietary requirements. Thank you Tracey. I would definitely book The Copper Kettle again.

Austin Houghton-Bird: We dropped in for a quick drink and and a cake today, and the homemade coffee and walnut cake was delicious (homemade on the premises too).We love the Copper Kettle but I’ve had to drop a couple of stars due to the coffee, we ordered a couple of americanos but they had no flavour and tasted really weak.
Chris Hewitt: Lovely rabbit Warren of a place. Really liked it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David King: Excellent. Their afternoon tea is very good and well worth the money.
Paul Townsend: Went in on Monday 17th Oct 2022 ordered 2 English breakfasts one with scrambled and one with poached eggs, coffee and a tea included in the price of the breakfast for £8.95 each no problem.Food and drink came both orders had fried eggs not as ordered above, no butter for the toast and the tea was not Yorkshire tea as per what the lady had said.Went to pay and was told it was £23, I’m no accountant but £8.95 + £8.95 is not £23 so was tired of the messing around so just paid and left will not return.

Pub Reviewer-UK: We stopped here as mid way point on our way to Edinburgh, which turns out not to be happening as Covid has hit one of the people we are visiting. It was a great find, the staff were super friendly and welcoming even though we arrived at 12 at night. They let us get a drink just before the bar closed for the night, they had a fairly decent selection considering it’s a holiday inn, or maybe that just a misconception of mine. I had a Goose Island IPA, great little after driving beer. The room was cozy and functional, we had a twin room as it was slightly cheaper, and there was plenty of room for our massive dog bed for Jasper. The charge for having a dog was £25 and they gave us a dog welcome pack, which was a sweet touch. The room was slightly cold but heated up quickly once we put our key card in.The bathroom was again functional and the shower was great, it’s only a little detail but won’t appeal to all, but the loo door doubled up as the bathroom door, slightly hard to explain, but basically you could use the bathroom whilst someone was in the toilet, or you could close the bathroom door to the bedroom and the toilet became part of the bathroom. The beds were comfy, the pillows were a bit hard to my liking but pillows are so individual I find so I can’t find fault with them, ones I don’t like others would love and visa versa. The breakfast which makes up the majority of my photos was amazing, it was a great spread, I though we were only going to get a Bap, instead I had, muffins, a sausage and bacon sandwich and I could have had so much more, my wife had the croissants and said they were very good to. It wasn’t the most amazing butchers sausages but far better than I had expected. The morning staff were as friendly as the night staff, so all in all this was a fantastic experience and if I ever found myself passing and needed to stay somewhere this would be very high on my list of places to put my head down.
Robyn Allwright: Very friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Breakfast was a surprise bonus.

Brew Babu: what do users think?
Jekaterina Kovalevska: Beatiful place and coffe!
Cara Miller: Just stopped here with our little daughter. Delicious, home made food that is much healthier and more nutritious than you usually get. Loads of flavour and texture. Reasonable prices too so a great place to have lunch. Wonderful friendly staff and a peaceful, warm, cosy atmosphere. Thank you
Edward Salmon: Excellent service. We had the freshly baked scones along with jam and cream and it tasted absolutely delicious. My wife had an oat milk latte and I had a tea. The proprietor blends her own tea. I had an Assam brew which was just first class.Recommended dishes Afternoon Tea for Two …More
Inside My Brain: Very nice, we had a cream tea for three on Mother’s Day and we loved it. Lots of teas and coffees to choose from and the finger sandwiches and cakes were lovely. The scones were really nice and the meringues were perfect. Quirky cafe and really nice staff. We saw some lunch meals being served and they looked equally impressive. Thanks Brew Babu for a lovely experience.
Robert Dunlop: This is such a fantastic place to just hang out, consume well prepared food and drinks....in a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.Faultless service....plenty of smiles...its just a perfect boutique coffee shop. Absolutely worth a visit!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lee Breeze: Friendly staff, good service, great food (the latte was lukewarm though), but the cafe itself was a bit tatty, a bit grubby, with a loose toilet seat, fragile lock.... A shame.....
Fanoulla Georgiou: This little place has a lot of potential, but it really needs a good clean!!Tables were dirty, the cake stand looked grubby, and we noticed rubbish on the floor by the bin, which is in full view of the customers! The fridge looked like it could really do with a good scrub!Shame. First and last visit I’m afraid
Jim Head: got a lot of potential and service was friendly but feels like it could do with a deep clean. Cakes were dry (old?) and coffee cup was a bit dirty.
Karen Martin: Nice food. Had poached eggs on toast, they had run out of muffins. My food arrived a few minutes before my friends which is why I gave 3 stars for service. Good coffee.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
C L: This used to be the place to go for us and a family and with friends for a catch up. It was always welcoming, the staff lovely and coffee, milkshakes and food on offer great. However, sadly on the last three visits the standard has dropped and most disappointing is the language used by the male member of staff when there this week. This is not the clean, friendly and quality place it once was.
Jamison Caruana: Great environment and nice workers. A great place to go if you have little kids. A variation of drinks and food.
Diane: This was our first time at this cafe/restaurant. We always stop in Oundle for a break when driving across the country as it such a charming small town. We had noticed Brew Babu and had a morning coffee break. The cakes were amazing. They tasted as if they were prepared in a small artisan bakery, definitely not a mass produced offering. Tea was excellent, coffee was excellent and service was attentive and friendly. There is a comprehensive breakfast and lunch menu catering for different dietary requirements. The environment itself was quirky and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Heather Wharton: Wonderful afternoon tea, great staff
Hayley Doughty: I just been here for afternoon tea, present from my daughter, it was absolutely delicious, staff was very helpful and friendly.
Suzanne Neal: We've been coming here for years and never had to complain. It was the first time we came after covid. We were disappointed. The place was dirty. ( I have pictures)The coffee cups dirty. We were brought our water and they still didn't clean our table which had food on it from the previous people. It was cleaned only half way. Staff were not friendly ( some eating and drinking behind the till) we shall not return. What a shame!
Lady W: Lovely cafe. Lots of choice on the menu. Great for coffee and tea enthusiasts.
Neri “Nellizza” Neri: Great, coffe place with very friendly staff and super tasty food.
Louise Passam: Just had a tea for two experience bought for me for my birthday. Food and service was exceptional. Will be treating myself again soon. Thank you to all the team.
Marrick Mills: Beautiful place, amazing food! We stayed for breakfast and would highly reccomend!
Susan Smith: Visited here for the first time today, and am sad I can't give them more stars!!Hubby had the Croque Monsieur and I had the Superfood salad with spicy chickpeas and Moroccan hummus - both plates were so full we didn't have enough room for dessert (so took them home instead😉)All the food was of a very high quality - add to that some good coffee and fab staff and you have a superb lunch!
Carrie Underwood: What a lovely place to go. Staff all polite and chatty. Afternoon tea 10/10 was perfect. Will be coming back again. Thank you for a lovely time

Peterborough Marriott Hotel: what do users think?
Dagmar Law: Stayed here from the 6/4/23 to 8/4/23. Check in was easy. Room was nice, yet in need of renovation. But they told us that everything should be renovated by November. There was a problem with the Wi-fi, but was soon sorted out.The pool is very nice, also you can book massages and reflexology. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning. English and a bit of continental. What we book this hotel again: definitely!!!
cindy hill: Lovely stay! Stayed here with my 4 year old daughter.Such lovely staff, Sophie and shaun was very helpful, friendly and welcoming! Offered to help with our bags after a long day. The pool was so lovely and warm, couldn't have been better and our room clean and comfortable!Breakfast was perfect had everything on offer!Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here!Thank you for a lovely stay, hope to visit again soon.

Peter Lee: Got to stay here for a night why on business so only a one night stayReception/ WelcomeI arrived late into the evening and when getting to the hotel I got warm welcome from a women on reception (sorry can’t remember her name) and was much needed as I had a rough travel so that friendly warm welcome made my day. Also from checking out the reception team was so friendly.RoomThe room was towards the back of the hotel and the corridors seem long but I promise they are not I found me room and was surprised on the size. As it was nice a big.The bed was comfortable and overall the room served its need for the few hours I was there. A massive 10/10 for the housekeeping team the room was spotless and when walking down the corridor in the morning I got a morning welcome from them loved this.Food and BeverageI had dinner in the restaurant and it was tasty and came out hot and delicious. For the prices they are reasonable and where the hotel is you can’t really pop out anywhere else so having this and the vast selection was perfect.I also had breakfast in the morning and this was also good and tasty set me up for my long day ahead.OverallA great stay and would stay again. The hotel is a short drive from the station and there is taxis outside it cost me around £13 but that’s expected. This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Peterborough so highly recommend it

jamieleewilkins: Even though the rooms were very similar to other hotel room layout this was by far the cleanest and in the best condition that I have stayed in for a long time. the staff in arrival and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.with free on site parking and free access to WiFi it is definitely a hotel I will stay at again. Just on a side note as I was travelling alone for work, i brought my gaming console and had no problem connecting to the WiFi and the large TV in the room.Rooms: very clean and tidy and in great conditionFood & drinks: the soup was very nice but unfortunately as I don't like pepper there was too much pepper in it for me and it over powered the flavour, my chicken burger and fries was also very nice. and there was a great selection for breakfast in the morning.

David Morris: We have stayed in this hotel a few times and we like it. Good location, lots of parking, clean and tidy, decent breakfast and evening meals.Plus points are the friendly reception staff who are welcoming and have a good sense of humour. Charlie and Julia deserve a special mention.Negative marks for the bar though. On every visit the bar is slow. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to serve a large white wine because you can't find a glass. It's also nice if you order a tinned or bottled beer to have it poured for you, not put on the counter to pour yourself, especially at hotel prices. We have mentioned bar problems previously but nothings changed.Overall good, but please improve improve the bar staff service and quality.
Suzette Farrelly: Clean, friendly, and good service. Central for the city near to a beautiful park

Mark Russell: Very impressed with the set up here. I was training for two days so stayed here for the night as well. Reception were very professional on arrival. The team kept all the food and drink coming all day during the training. The room was very comfortable and quiet which meant I got a good nights sleep.Very excellent experience I will be back when in the area again.
Phillip Topping: Well what can I say other than FANTASTIC, from check in to check out the service from all of the staff at the hotel was faultless. We were hosting a Planner event at the hotel and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they catered to our every need, even the maintenance guy provided me with some screws I'd left at home. The Buckingham suite was great for the event with everything (except a PA system) you could need and the staff were always on hand to help.My partner and I had a lovely spacious family room that was clean and comfy and the robes and slippers were a nice touch andcame in handy for the evening 🤣.The hotel breakfast was plentiful and there was something for everyone and they had several milk alternatives which was great, especially for my partner who is lactose intolerant, I really enjoyed the smoothies and pancake machine and haven't seen these at hotel before.Special mention to Lilley on reception who seemed to be there pretty much 24/7, she was always smiling, welcoming and happy to help and is a credit to the hotel.

John Oram: Very convenient for our specific visit. Decent car park but our room had three electrical faults. Breakfast service ends stupidly early at 0930.Beware of the adjacent Bourges Boulevard where most drive FAR too fast.

Teige Osborne: Great stay at the Park Inn Raddisson, Peterborough Hotel. Comfy bed and clean room, all staff friendly and approachable, the restaurant onsite has something to suit most tastes. All this is good but what really impressed me was the Manager. Long story short I was rushing for a train and couldn't get a taxi, she said no worries I will take you! she got a colleague to cover reception and dropped me to the train station herself, talk about going over and beyond. Excellent service!

We met this week in one of the meeting rooms and we’re well looked after. The catering was all good quality whether breakfast or lunch options. The room was light and easy to see the screens etc.
Tori Sykes: Stayed here twice the first time was good the second was bad, second stay had a fire, got woken up at 12am because there was a small fire, staff was amazing at there job under pressure. Charlotte Tomlin: Great location, 10 mins walk to the station or middle of the city.Rooms were clean and comfy. Shower needs a bit of TLC as the handle to switch it off is very loose. Breakfast....wasn't worth the money and I'm really disappointed. Everything was either over cooked or looked too runny so that really put us off.I would stay here again but definitely not have the breakfast in the morning.
Luke Drewer: I was sitting into the lounge with a superior hang over, getting far too old to be challenging an ex marine to a vodka drink off when I couldn't but over hear the conversation next too me. The lady from the hotel was comforting a guest who was clearly going through a distressing time and had obviously had to deal with some things that no child or young adult should have to deal with or experience. Anyway, the member of staff and the stranger who clearly felt the compassion to help made me feel like these are the people we need in this world, kind and compassionate and she really was a credit to the hotel with how she handled the situation. Plus we were late for breakfast but the staff still made sure we had something to eat, which frankly I needed! Rooms were really nice and staff were so nice, I would stay here anytime I come up to Peterborough. Thank you.
Mo G: Good rooms, quality breakfast and great service from the staff. Hotel is also very clean
