My passion for photography started when I became a mother myself. I realised how important it is to capture those precious moments that you never want to forget. In addition to being a professional Nottingham newborn photographer, I photograph weddings, children and families in outdoor locations, pregnancy photo sessions and personal branding for small businesses.

We’ve used Alison for all of our family’s special events including 3 weddings and photoshoots of the children in the family, which says it all. Alison is so professional and always makes you feel comfortable, producing beautiful images capturing the best of our special moments. Most recently we had the mini Mother’s Day photoshoot where my 2 year old wasn’t overly impressed, yet Alison managed to work her magic getting multiple beautiful photos and she was also very patient, kind and reassuring during my daughter’s unhappy moments. We will most certainly use Alison for any future events and as our daughter grows.

Alison's photographs are really beautiful and she makes the process of booking sessions and taking the pictures really easy and enjoyable. Alison photographed my son Rory at home for newborn and lifestyle photoshoots, which were really calm and relaxed. Highly recommended! Alison is very good at what she does, we wanted a newborn photo shoot at home and it was perfect! Alison was so gentle with our little girl and got some gorgeous pictures. Such a great price for the personal experience not having to go out to a studio was great especially with a newborn. Alison just set up in our living room didn’t need much space, Alison asks what kind of pictures you would like and keeps you involved throughout. Will definitely use her again

We're so happy to have become the 'go to' studio for anyone who's a little shy of the camera, and it's been proven many times to work really well for children with autism too Word has spread that our shoots are fun & relaxed, and rather than 'posing' our main goal is to help you forget the camera's even there! We encourage you to look at each other, not the camera, and it's amazing how quickly everyone relaxes once they're focused on the people they love the most. Just play and cuddle with little ones, and joke around with older ones and you'll soon feel right at home - it's such a great feeling when we see everyone relax and just enjoy spending family time together. These are the magic moments, the natural moments... and it's our job (and complete pleasure) to capture them for you.

We've found that most families also need a few more traditional style 'family portraits' that are more 'face on' to send to family members who might not understand the more natural style. So we've come up with a way of making this really easy for you! We just quickly ask you to look at the camera every now and then, so it happens in amongst all the fun you're having - so much better than endless awkward posing and saying cheese! And the moments we capture are so much more meaningful too - real smiles and real connection - these are gifts your family will be so happy to receive

We're all about capturing stories, and there's none better than your Baby's First Year They change so quickly from that tiny, curled up newborn stage & somehow - before you know it - they're suddenly one year old and walking! Our goal for each is the same - as well as capturing your baby's natural beauty, we're looking to capture those moments of love, connection and personality that make each stage unique and memorable. In a family shoot we naturally capture a whole mix of different groupings, from full family, to pairs, to siblings then onto solos. We can comfortably say after ten years of refining our shoot style, that the key to a really enjoyable and successful shoot is to start with the family all together, so they know they're in a happy safe place, then they relax and let their true personalities out. This is when they're at their most confident and ready to take over for the rest of the shoot! Our goal always is to capture their mighty spirit and unique personality, as well as their natural beauty - and if we can capture their curiosity, quirkiness and expressions you love, then that's even better

Located in the heart of Nottingham Life Photographic is situated in an old lace mill building. We are directly next door to the NCP car park and have vouchers that reduce the parking charge within this car park. Look for a big black door with a big round porthole window and you have found us!

4worldlovers: Beautiful maternity portraits create a lasting memory of an incredible time in your life. Something to treasure for a lifetime. During your session I will work with you to create portraits that you are proud of and that capture the beauty of your pregnancy.

Posed/studio newborn photoshoot typically must be done within the first 2 weeks of birth when the baby is very sleepy and “mold-able”. The focus in this type of photo session is on shots of the baby looking perfect, usually in blankets, wraps, hats, & headbands. The session can last up to 4 hours with feeding, potty breaks, and posing.

No matter what season it is I am offering a range of beautiful outdoor photo shoots in various locations. It could be something as simple as a local park, local forest or a vegetable patch but the outcome can be smashing. Have a look at my gallery and see for yourself.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate your child's birthday than smashing a delicious cake.

The actual cake smash shoots are child led, this means we go at your children's pace. If they are getting bored we move on. If they want a break, we take a break.

It is more than a picture. It's a way of life and how I see it. It's an art in the making, with a bit of mystery and simplicity which speaks volumes.

It's is designed especially for the couples who want to fully enjoy their wedding day without being dragged away from their guests by a photographer just to take some photos. This are usually taken outside the registry office or a place where the party is held and there is no other option unless you completely abandon your guests for a couple of hours.

We have had both new born and an outdoor shoot of our toddler and were delighted with Emilia! She was professional and had a lovely way with our children. The photos are stunning and the packages incredibly good value for money. Would recommend to anyone.


From start to finish the whole experience with Emilia has been amazing. I will select the best images from yous session, edit them and create your online gallery. You would be able to view them all and choose your favourites to create the package you like the most.
