Spirit Dojo is the official training facility of Paul “SEMTEX” Daley based in Nottingham. Currently classes include K1/Thaiboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and MMA. We’re a very friendly club with many members, that will help you to achieve your goals whether its for personal fitness, self defence, weight loss, competitive fighting or just to gain confidence, whatever it is WE CAN HELP!!!!!!!!! Spirit Dojo is more than just a club, we are a family where everyone is welcome. Just come down and give it a try, you wont be disappointed!!!!!!!

“Spirit Dojo was initially an idea, so that I could have my own training location without the need for travelling around to various training facilities. Originally Spirit Dojo was operated from the YMCA but as the club grew it became apparent moving to its own exclusive location was the only way to go.


Spirit Dojo has grown into a great training centre with a family feel to it. It is fit for training professional fighters like myself, beginners and those that seek the recreational advantages of Kickboxing, Boxing, Thaiboxing, MMA and BJJ.

All you need to start is a t-shirt and some shorts, we have spare shin guards and boxing gloves available for beginners. As you progress you will need 16oz boxing gloves, shin guards, groin guard and a gum shield.

We teach a variety of martial arts classes, along with specific fitness classes designed to compliment your martial arts learning and performance.




With a fully equipped dojo which has light and heavy boxing and kick bags, Aqua bags which are easy on the joints, focus mitts, Kick shields and lots more equipment, you can guarantee that every workout will be a great one.


With just over a 100 square metre safety matted area, half a cage to practice specific MMA drills and a large boxing ring, we have all of your training needs covered!


Train to get fit, train to learn something new and have fun, or maybe you want to take it a bit more seriously and compete.


As a former national kickboxing coach, a professional MMA coach and a holder of a BBBoC Professional Trainers Boxing License, if you want to get a little more from your training, Own can definitely help you to achieve this!

Owen is a 5th degree Blackbelt and has been training in martial arts since 1986, in that time he has won Many British, European and world titles with various associations including WKA and WAKO.

Owen is also a national coach for W.A.K.O (World association of Kickboxing Organisations) and the W.M.K.F (World Martial Kombat Federation)

He has studied many styles of martial arts including Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Aikido, Thai Boxing, submission wrestling. and has a blue belt in Gracie BJJ under Victor Estima.

He holds a professional Trainers boxing licence through the BBBoC (British boxing board of control) and teaches Submission wrestling as an associated school to Shooters MMA association.

He was formerly the head striking coach for Team Rough house (Professional MMA fighters) and was the main striking coach for top MMA fighters "Judo" Jimmy Wallhead and Andre Winner. He also coaches many other professional fighters and develops fight strategies for them.

Owen developed the online martial arts training centre called "Fighter Training Online Academy"

Peter is a 4th Degree Black Belt and has been studying the Martial arts since 1981.Styles studied include: Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Boxing, Kickboxing, Submission wrestling, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Mixed Martial arts and is a fully qualified personal trainer. He has over 25 years teaching experience and is dedicated to teaching his students to the highest standard.

4worldlovers: Welcome to Daniyaal's Martial Arts Academy! We're passionate about martial arts, and we're here to help you improve your physical fitness, build self-defense skills, and develop discipline and focus.

We're currently offering a 2-week VIP pass that gives you unlimited classes for just £35. This pass provides you with the opportunity to fully experience our martial arts classes before committing to a regular membership.

At our academy, we don't require our students to sign up for yearly contracts. Instead, we ask for just a 30-day cancellation notice if you decide to leave.

Our director, Sensei Daniyaal, brings over 20 years of experience in martial arts to our classes, including training in Judo, Capoeira, and Karate. With his unique perspective and expertise, we offer tailored classes that are engaging and effective for learners of all ages and abilities.
