Adam smith: I have used them many times in the past. But this time the £1000 saw developed a fault with only 2 hrs run time in 12 months. Absolutely useless, no help, left to resolve the matter with the manufacturer. MTS seem to be devoid of any understanding of consumers statutory rights (Sale of Goods & Services Act 2015) the goods should remain fit for purpose for up to six years subject to REASONABLE wear and tear (manufactures 1 yr warranty is worthless and not worth the paper its written on). I have only shopped with them because they are local and I was trying to support local shops. Given the lack of service I might as well now buy on line. Poor show MTS you don't deserve any further business.

" Disinterested teenager hits a few keys on the keyboard, pulls out a brochure and asks me if I can see post mix on the page. I tell him I can't see it there , he says We haven't got any. The only reason he didn't come straight out and tell me to get lost was that he didn't have sufficient vocabulary. Who's to blame, management for their hiring process? HR for inadequate training? Today's youth? No wait, it can't be the last one, because I went to Hevey's and a young man of equal age was most helpful.

Adrian D: Sufficient parking as most visits are quick collections. You should order online and its usually ready in 10 mins to collect. Just a collection counter so not a walk in store for browsing materials or equipment. Great staff , friendly and have even got my order ready when I ordered 30 mins before closing. Reasonable prices and wide variety of material and tools available.
