Ness Shillito: Absolutely appalled at the total discrimination shown within this company, being openly told that they refuse to supply a mobility scooter to someone as they are blind. Pressure to show paperwork before discussing stock. No respect for people’s disabilities and the extremely poor knowledge of products and disability!!!Diabolical!!!!!!!

BLR Distribution LTD: what do users think?
Jeannine Atkinson: Darran gave us first class service & advice. A very genuine chap who I would recommend to anyone looking for help & advice. Thank you
Craig Eldridge: We contacted BLR distribution about help for a recliner chair that we needed. They were really helpful, polite and friendly and gave good advice on what chair we might need.
James Matthews: I recently got in touch with BLR Distribution and had an amazing experience!! I was looking for a way to get my pregnant wife out and about as she is suffering with her mobility. I was immediately offered multiple solutions from very helpful and friendly staff, we quickly found the right piece of equipment for what we needed. Great service from a great company!!
George Dutfield: I purchased a wheel chair last week for my dad after being recommended to yourselves by a friend . Excellent service thank you so much.
alitia brown: Absolutely first class service from a local family run business....
Brian Scrivener: Visited last Friday to inquire about purchasing a wheelchair after being recommended by a family member. We received a very warm welcome on arrival by Darren. We explained what we were interested in and he showed us a few models, ranging from different prices . We tested them out and was left to decide which we preferred. There was no selling pressure whatsoever which was a change from most places you visit! We are very satisfied and did purchase a model,he explained all about them and how they operated. Would definitely recommend this company.
Thelma Cordner: We were traveling from Northern Ireland to go to see the F1 at Silverstone, as my husband has a chronic back problem and needed a mobility scooter. After trying a few places without success I phoned Darren and I can honestly say I have never met anyone so helpful. He went out of his way to get me the scooter that I needed. A genuine and caring man.Thank you Darren and we will definitely be using you next year again
kevin foreman: Superb service and advice from Darran
david murray: I had a visit from Daren, who checked over my chair and inspecting it,Hr. also repaired my adjustable bed.Great service and a reasonable charge, will be using BLR again for any of my mobility needs. Thanks againDave
Mark Mundin: Many thanks to Darran for a fantastic service in sorting out a wheelchair for my Dad at short notice. Much appreciated and highly recommended.
Kay Roberts: very good service all round. Thank you
William Jackson: a welcome designed for a queen
Gyles Dickens: My father's health took a turn for the worst over the Christmas 2021 period and by 30 December he was in severe pain and couldn't get comfortable in his chair or his bed. We contacted BLR Distribution and first, when the phone was busy, they returned my calls within a very short period of time on two occasions. Second, we contracted and they delivered a hospital style bed and mattress by 2:00pm the following afternoon (New Years Eve). No fuss - perfect service - am very happy to recommend this company to others.
christine green: Had great service.Especially want to thank Darren Bedford
Clare Abbatt: I took my elderly father to BLR's centre in Moulton Park Industrial East. Darran could not have been more helpful. My father was able to choose a very suitable wheeled walker and a Zimmer frame. Both are second hand, in good condition and fully checked that they are safe by BLR. Thank you. Highly recommended.
Sam Rix: Another excellent service from Darran at BLR. Great communications, best price, quick delivery, professional and friendly, whats not to like? Very highly recommend.
James Fenton: Am not living in Northampton anymore but needed some items for my parents who are still here at short notice. Darran couldn't have been more helpful and professional in helping us and very fair about pricing! He's since helped me with something else, really going out of his way. Thank you Darran!
Victoria Moore-Gillon: A wonderful customer experience . A great reconditioned product at a very fair price with good warranty . Darren could not have been more helpful
Claire Maxwell: I needed a wheelchair for my autistic son and choose to go into a shop rather then buying online, definitely the best decision i could of made, Darren was so helpful after my email to make an appointment and a few words to say what i was ideally looking for he had 3 chairs ready for me to look at. When you shop this way it means you can actually sit in the chair and make a choice of which is best. We came away with a perfect wheelchair and with two boy's with EHC plans the shopping experience had no stress and Darren even had the awareness with the young boy having behavioural issues to keep him entertained with a mobility scooter so i could properly try out which one was best with my other son. Highly recommend BLR genuine and caring customer service.
Vera Mayo: Extremely pleased with the service I received from Darren. So knowledgeable and helpful.
Gail brown: Excellent service from Darren. He was very professional and caring and made purchasing a wheelchair very easy.Highly recommend going to see this family run business. My Dad is over the moon and was a little apprehensive at first. Darren soon took care and my Dad now owns his first wheelchair.Thankyou

Salvation Army Trading Company Superstore: what do users think?
m s: The messiest and most expensive charity shop I have seen. More expensive than new stuff with occasional discounts.
Paul McCullock: A magnificent shop. Loads to look at
Nanammra Amoah: Nice looking place
Kamala Adams: Found a few nice things but the prices were way too high to justify buying them. Came away with just a mug for £4 that still felt too expensive but, as it was for my dad, I thought I’d buy it anyway.
Tilly Lever: Nicely set out shop, friendly staff but prices are extortionate. I know everything's gone up but I don't expect to pay nearly as much as brand new for second hand stuff. The furniture is more than 'retro' and still £50+. I won't be visiting again.
Martins Akpan: Loads of items available for low prices. Nice place 👌 👍 👏 ☺️ to shop.
David Hilton: Prices are extremely high for a chairty shop, same products even down to small items like a pair of shoes or clothes have been in there for atleast 2 months.EDIT: 11 months later, items I originally spoke about are still in the shop!!! 🙄😂
Whisperhead: Honestly, this review has nothing to do with the staff - anyone who gives their time and effort to help out in a charity shop, volunteer or otherwise deserves our gratitude, so 5 stars for all of the employees. However, the charity as an entity is the subject of this review: it has clearly succumbed to a misguided notion that "what eBay says, goes."A wide spectrum of items that are generously donated to the charity are hugely overpriced for second-hand goods. I have even overheard senior staff (usually the managers) telling customers openly that "we go by eBay prices." Those customers have then made the same argument I do here, before leaving immediately. Why would anyone pay RRP for pre-owned (and often average-condition) goods? The problem with this ethos is that anyone can list anything on eBay for whatever price they like: whether it sells or not. As a charity, I can fully understand wanting to get a good return on items for sale but on eBay, there is no limit to the price a person can ask, and that doesn't translate to 'selling' price, just an arbitrary figure entirely at the whim of the seller. The paltry few who don't understand the mechanics of selling online might fall go rot but the majority are much more wise to this.Poor show. You're losing customers because of it, which is a shame, as inevitably those who need the charity funds the most are missing out.
Tim Timmington: Good selection of items, in a lovely space, but poorly presented and often overpriced.
Muriel Hough: Such a good charity shop. Always like to pop in when I can.
Afroz Hasan: Very good store I like the clothes quality is good and all of the stuff in same store that’s really good
Kim Tyrrell: This is the sort of shop you have to pop into all the while to get any bargains.
Carol: The men that collect donated items are lazy and look for any excuse not to take heavier donations. They left a perfectly good solid wardrobe and a table because they obviously couldn't be bothered. One of them didn't know the difference between a Phillips and a flathead screwdriver 😆😆I've donated those items now to a more interested charity who are desperate for wardrobes
Neil: I like to support the Salvation army store because they do a great job. I bought some really nice things.
Stephanie Glazebrook: No commonsense when it comes to pricing.
R: Big store, nice to browse, but prices need to be reduced as they don't seem to reflect that the items are second hand. I would have bought a couple of things but in both cases I could get the items brand new for a similar price. The LP browsing has been pushed out of the limelight and it's a shame the cafe has gone.
rebecca eccles: Lovely service, wide variety of clothes in multiple sizes, lots of things other than clothes available also. Just a joy to go to every time!
Phil Halson: This is a very large charity shop on Abington Street in the centre of Northampton which sells furniture, electrical goods, clothes, fitness equipment, books, records, CDs, dvds, toys, bric a brac, plus probably all sorts of other things that you can think of. I think some things are donated by supermarkets because there will often be several of one item in brand new condition.
Eva Varga: Fiataloknak kezdeni nagyon jó, mivel olcsó.
Adam Dlugosz: Good

Cynthia Spencer Hospice Donation Station: what do users think?
Ralsei Dreemurr: This place is run by amateur management! Tried to buy an item on ebay and they refused to post it expecting me to collect it by travelling all the way from London to Northampton. They wouldn't budge being stubborn by also refusing to arrange a courier. Honestly this shop shouldn't be allowed to sell on Ebay if they cannot figure out something as basic as postage they shouldn't even be in retail its a disgrace...
Linda: Huge space but unfortunately only a tiny amount of the many donations made by the public accessable to visitors to buy.........the rest is sitting on rails or stands out of bounds to the public.
Tim Bradley: Really good kots to look at.
Lu C: A wonderful caring place
michelle c: Whole range of items from baby to household items clothes jewellery shoes furniture beauty allsorts
samantha mussard: Can't believe I haven't been here. Excellent center. Loads of donated items. All items individually priced. Wide variety of items from books, dvds, homeware and furniture. They are now open every Saturday 9 - 3 for those who can't get there during the week. Assistant on the till was very helpful. You must go and have a mooch like I did. Something for everybody.
Paul Meadows: Amazing bargains and lovely staff
Barbara Wilson: Very nice place
Stephanie Glazebrook: An absolute treasure trove. -1 star as it was shut, contrary to opening hours.
Lydia Ekins: Very polite and friendly.
Rachael Dolby: Really good variety and well organised shop!No rummaging required
Paul Jones: No trolley to help get my valuable donations into the building so not the easiest visit.
Bogdan Wojnarowski: Niskie ceny, bardzo miła obsługa.
John Fretwell: Good access for this worthy charity drop off and shop
The Wardrobe Moulton: A lovely place too mooch for bargains and friendly staff

Satzcha Scott (Sassy): Nice being able to navigate a charity shop with a walker/ trolley. Saw some lovely paperweights but didn't buy this time. Nice clothes but a bit too much on rails to look properly. Needs more volunteers, I suspect.
Caroline Purcell: Fair prices and lovely staff so very hrlpfull
Teiga Cato: They are a little shop of treasures, friendly service with a smile and the prices are very reasonable.
Heather Korbey: Friendly staff and a chance to find a bargain.A great place to pop in.
