Shadow Cast
Shadow Cast: This is an amazing bookshop and a must for bookworms. I have only just discovered this shop and it is now among my favourite in the UK. It is an Aladdin's cave of books, with walls bursting with stock and the range of titles is just incredible. There is an especially good stock of literary books, history, rail and Christian titles. The staff are warm and welcoming, offering you a hot drink on arrival and showing you where to find different sections. One unusual aspect of the shop is that the books aren't priced but instead they will give you (a very reasonable) price once you have made your selection. This is fine but I probably would have spent more had I been able to add up as I went along. I can't wait to come back here when I am back in Northamptonshire.

Very very knowledgeable on the books and the history of the older books. Was offered a drink on arrival and was provided with biscuits. Each book we brought was priced on the spot and incredibly reasonable. Needless to say we will be back if not for the books then for the shopping experience.

Peach Peach
Peach Peach: My daughter visited this store with her partner today. They love books so they wanted to take a look around. The owner of this store started to question my daughter about why she was there, which specific book was she there for and that this store isn’t for young people, but it’s for BOOK people. You, owner, made my daughter and her partner feel so uncomfortable they had leave and all because you believe they are too young to be in your store. They are both heading to university in a few months, god forbid they should touch a book there.

WHSmith: what do users think?
Anthony O'Shea
Anthony O'Shea: Extortionate prices , books are literally 3 times more expensive here than on amazon
Liliana Simion
Liliana Simion: Been there to use the drop-off DHL service, at around 10.00 AM.The elderly gentleman wearing a WHSmith t-shirt/uniform got "spooked" by the country of destination - "Romania", and immediately:- I had to PRINT the barcode that I had received on email and was presenting to him on the phone. He added that he cannot print anything there (but he has a big printer&scanner right next to the till, and everybody knows barcodes on phone screens are being scanned every second on this planet)- then, he decided he CAN type in the numbers under the barcode, which he did, on a nearby computer.- I asked if the documents will arrive to the destination the next day, and he immediately said I DOUBT IT, and added that the collection time from his store is at around 4.00 PM. I went online afterwards, and read black on white that IF THE COLLECTION DIDN'T HAPPEN YET, THE NEXT DAY DELIVERY APPLIES.- I concluded his attitude is deeply unprofesional and definitely non-helpful, and went home and used the pick-up from home service. Now, this is my oppinion, and I could use some strong words in it, but I'm a lady so I won't.Definitely not going back in that store, never ever ever.
Oli Shehaj
Oli Shehaj: Avoid Any costs! It's the worst company ever! After i purchase a item and it didn't work, then i went to this local retailer to exchange it whit the receipt but they refused to exchange it! And the funny thing is that they suggested me to contact the manufacturer because it's not made from WhSmith! And when i asked that if you selling the product and if it's faulty then they are responsible and they have to contact the manufacturer! Obviously after the supervisor contacted her manager and the area manager they still didn't exchange it or refund it!
samantha mussard
samantha mussard: Rude assistants. Little tin gods in these shops now. Will not be going back. I am starting to order online going forward. Even for my food shop.
