Sean Anderson: On a scale, this is somewhere between Homebase and B&Q. For home DIY there's a very good chance you'll get what you need and of the three big DIY stores, Wickes is probably the cheaper.
Paul Parsons: Good stockof items for both the DIY and Trade customers.You can also order online to pick up in store. Which is very helpful as they send you a text when your item/items are ready for collection

Ellis Dempsey: My builder brought bricks from TP. Never again.Quoted one price and put bricks on back order as they were out of stock. Builder noticed they were in stock and rang TP to enquire about the order placed. Conveniently, the order had not been placed when asked, the quote had now been lost on the system when the price of a pack had gone up considerably and they wouldn’t honour their original price.We have a pack and 1/4 of bricks left over and we’re told they would by them back at 25% less than the cost of the pack at the current price and that TP would come collect them free of charge as we live 1/4 mile down the road from TP. Was told on numerous occasions someone would ring us back. Never happened, even after my husband going down in person to TP.Went in again today as we got fed up of waiting for another call back. A pack has gone up to £620, we paid about ?£450. Today we were told they would only buy the pack back at 75% of the price we paid for them and were also told we would have to pay for TP to come and collect them.

Steve Antipolo: I can't remember the last time I bought anything here. I keep going as a choice for home or DIY but it falls short every time. The lack of trust with customers doesn't make it feel welcoming either. When not buying it would be nicer if that always had a direct flow to the exit. Sometimes it's blocked with stock.For some reason, they've never fixed the toilet, strange for a DIY store!I've IBS, I really need to go when I need to go so I actively avoid places which are not disabled friendly like that

We decided on a beautiful shaker kitchen, which was put together by our kitchen planner, Charlie Harrow. Excellent communication and service skills were given with all the details shown on their autocad design software.

Mr S: Poorly managed branch. I did a click and collect for two garden pots. When I arrived at the branch, they weren’t ready. Waited ages then they brought out these filthy, cracked, battered, wet pots. When I asked if there was in damaged ones, they told me there wasn’t anymore (the website stated there were 4 more). Asked if the could discount because they were damaged, the manager didn’t even bother to view the damage, and just said she’d knock off £3 over the phone (the pots were £80). Really sloppy management, poor quality checking and severe lack of customer service skills.

john payne: I went to B&Q to take advantage of their 3 for 2 on paint, plastered all over media and in store on every shelf. It’s only when you get to the till and there is another sign with very small print at the bottom saying doesn’t include white paint. I feel this is at best immoral and at worse dishonest, I shall not be shopping at B&Q ever again
David Kitchens: Needed to replace my rain gutter and picked up the last length. They moved my favourite paving slabs, so I had to hunt.
