Sm P-B: Staff are always amazing will go out of way to help and are friendly .. the only issue with Smyths is we still compare to toys are us of old and the diff is tactile ... So Smyths are huge walls of things all neat no touchy touchy .. kids are touchy touchy and TRU used to have a balance between not loosing (well maybe not given they went bust lol) to having most things with display models while keeping a big stock supply .. I rem taking them into tru to get bikes toys dolls computers .. and we had lots of hands on places to try before you buy .. the outdoor toys were built to see not just a catalog and we spent 1000s on impulse purchases over the years because we could touchy touchy and kids nagged !!! We had so many swing sets !! But obv we have no alternative big toy stores now so we use Smyths and it's fine we go in get what we want and leave .. we save money as no impulse as no one demonstrating toys or things to try so from a parents point of view great but from a kids it's a tad naff

The Mighty One: Fantastic selection of toys for all ages. Great selection of bikes paw patrol Barbie PS4 games nerf and outdoor activities. Parking is very easy outside with plenty of spaces.
Prasanna Deshpande: We visited on a Saturday morning during the school half term closure. The store felt more crowded than our last visit and it was only 9am. However, it was still easy enough to walk around and navigate inside the store. We spent about an hour or so here to pick a push scooter for our toddler. If you are looking to buy toys for your kids, then this is the store to visit in Northampton.

Just putting this as a heads up to other collectors to count how many packs of cards they take out of their drawer as you may not get as many as you actually pay for.

I had a wish-list of paints to buy which, having no knowledge of Warhammer, could easily have been an intimidating experience. We were interested about warhammer and the staff (I believe manager) was so kind and gave us a full show. We sat down to assemble and paint a character and after we got to try playing as he already has it set up in the store. We had such a good time with this man and will be coming back.Absolutely come in here if you're already into Warhammer or if you are interested and curious.

(If you park on this road, be careful with your parking, as the wardens here are ruthless)

I had assumed being Warhammer/Games Workshop only that prices would be higher than what is available at other FLGS but in return they would have at least one of each of the basics but that wasn't so, or even particularly close.If you haven't got price on your side there needs to be a lure when there are other, cheaper and equally, or better stocked stores nearby, sorry.

Iba: Came in for our first visit and WOW! We were just supposed to grab a coffee then restaurant for dinner. We had way too much fun and decided screw the restaurant, let's have our food here and stay for the rest of the evening! Which we did and it was great. Service was very good and we were well taken care of and we all enjoyed our food too! I really recommend bringing your friends here for a great time.Also if you are out for a spin of Pokemon GO, there is no better place in town! You are perfectly placed to reach 2 gyms and many stops! Will be coming here for community days from now on.

You can order food from the bar with an impressive selection of milkshakes whilst playing free board games or video games in a relaxed and comfortable venue. There are so many things to do here that cater for adults and children alike, the setting really promotes a guilt free environment which people of all ages will enjoy. For parents and children who need a place to spend quality time together this is a great choice to create memories. I encourage people to not only visit but spend money in here as places like this need stay alive as it offers something very different in comparison to other businesses within the town.

Chrissy Watkins: At first my opinion in this geek retreat was pretty low, as a comic book collector I expected more comic books to be available to read, but I visited not long after they opened. I went back last weekend and I have completely changed my mind, there was a bunch of youngsters having a Pokémon battle!!! I LOVED seeing that and they were supported by a member of staff throughout. Great selection of stock, the comic book collection has grown, not to my personal liking but that's not an expectation! You guys are doing great! The staff know what they are doing and not just people who need a job they all love what they sell and that makes it much more pleasant. Not tried the food yet as never had the time but will certainly be visiting again soon!
The Poltical One: Found some cards I wanted at a reasonable price. The staff member I spoke to was really helpful and we talked for a while. He was a really nice guy he packaged up my cards for me too. Great touch

Liliana Simion: Been there to use the drop-off DHL service, at around 10.00 AM.The elderly gentleman wearing a WHSmith t-shirt/uniform got "spooked" by the country of destination - "Romania", and immediately:- I had to PRINT the barcode that I had received on email and was presenting to him on the phone. He added that he cannot print anything there (but he has a big printer&scanner right next to the till, and everybody knows barcodes on phone screens are being scanned every second on this planet)- then, he decided he CAN type in the numbers under the barcode, which he did, on a nearby computer.- I asked if the documents will arrive to the destination the next day, and he immediately said I DOUBT IT, and added that the collection time from his store is at around 4.00 PM. I went online afterwards, and read black on white that IF THE COLLECTION DIDN'T HAPPEN YET, THE NEXT DAY DELIVERY APPLIES.- I concluded his attitude is deeply unprofesional and definitely non-helpful, and went home and used the pick-up from home service.Now, this is my oppinion, and I could use some strong words in it, but I'm a lady so I won't.Definitely not going back in that store, never ever ever.

After i purchase a item and it didn't work, then i went to this local retailer to exchange it whit the receipt but they refused to exchange it! And the funny thing is that they suggested me to contact the manufacturer because it's not made from WhSmith! And when i asked that if you selling the product and if it's faulty then they are responsible and they have to contact the manufacturer! Obviously after the supervisor contacted her manager and the area manager they still didn't exchange it or refund it!

Wolf James: My girlfriend brought me a drone from here as a gift just over a year ago. It now just sits collecting dust as one motor went kaput. Took it back to Menkind very unhelpful staff at the time. It is a skydrone pro V2 . If a time should arrive where I can buy a new motor for it let me know.
