Phil Johnson: Had a bacon roll in there this morning with my neighbour. First time visit for me to this country park cafe. Quite an extensive menu too. There's seating indoors and out and the interior is pleasant enough. Friendly staff brought our rolls and tea over to our tables and ensured we had everything we needed. Ideal location for the visitors to the park just off the main road. Worth a look for a cuppa or something more substantial. Recommended.

We finished food and drinks, and were hoping to order another coffee and a slice of banana bread. However we waited for 20 minutes and waiter didn’t come, even though we looked at till twice. Ended up walking to the till and paying. No big deal but they need to keep an eye on these details.Despite this small issue, the experience was very good and will definitely return. In fact, I will edit this review and score then with 5 stars if on my next visit they get the service right. Northampton city centre needed a nice coffee shop like this, really happy to see young entrepreneurs with new ideas.

Olivia Phillips: Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was thoroughly impressed! Really friendly service from staff, excellent portion sizes and the food itself was delicious. I had the biscoff pancakes which were very decadent and my partner really enjoyed the eggs benedict with spinach. Overall a lovely experience and atmosphere, will definitely be back again to try more of the menu and the cocktails!Parking: Paid street parking on St Giles Street but note that its change only and doesn't accept card.

Richard Stokes: The Orangery is a restaurant/café within Delapre Abbey grounds. If you are walking from the car park, then just go around to the right of the main buildings. We had a southern fried chicken burger which was delicious. Would highly recommend a meal or just coffee and a cake. They also do cream tea, which I have not had but am told is good. You may need to book this in advance. This restaurant is popular and always busy. We were here mid week at around 11:30 and all the tables were full. There is free parking at Delapre Abbey, and some nice walks and a walled garden, if you want to work up an appetite or burn off the calories. Would definitely recommend the Orangery.

Benny Norris: Went there for lunch, staff all looked miserable and stressed. Sat at a table with my 2 year old and pregnant wife. Nobody came to take our order so ordered at the counter. Got scolded by the supervisor for doing that. Sat down, cutlery literally thrown on the table. They then bought all the food out in take out boxes. Told the staff to bring it on plates. Got a smirk from one of the staff. Supervisor eventually came over, apologising through gritted teeth, then accused me of being racist when I described one the rude staffs ethnic origin. Then one of the other staff told me that I didn’t speak to her with any respect. Demanded a refund, to which again they just shook their shoulders and walked off. Was told a manager wasn’t working who miraculously turned up and dealt with the situation in a mature manner. Happily offered a refund and some desserts to take away. Am still considering reporting the supervisor as to be accused of being racist is highly offensive. Without doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 48 years. If I could give no stars then I would.

Amy Elizabeth: What a lovely little find this cafe is! Tucked away at the Chruch Brampton Riding Stable Yard, it’s very quaint and cosy. Lovely staff who were friendly and happy, and the service was great. Food and drink were beautifully prepared and it’s a great place to sit and watch the horses. Outdoor and indoor seating available.
