Sarah Shoebridge: I've only been training with Anthony for a number of weeks, but find him engaging, motivating, and genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. Having had a bad back and shoulder following a car accident, numerous physio sessions, MRI's, and a cortisone injection, I've found exercising to be really difficult over the past 4 years, almost because I've been too scared to 'push' myself in case I injure myself further. Anthony has the knowledge, expertise, and patience to deal with this and I'm already seeing progress in the way I feel, and I'm surprised by what I can actually do!! Worried about how you look? Dont be. Worried about if you can do it? Anthony will find a way with you. Will it be hard? Yes. You'll come out sweating and you will actually feel good about it! Very highly recommended! (Anthony, not the sweating, the sweating is just a byproduct of a good session!)
Kev George: I've been training with Anthony on and off for a few years now. Despite my advancing years (although I'm a few years younger than anthony) my fitness has never been better. Anthony is motivating, encouraging and has improved my body confidence.Sessions are tough but (kind of) fun! & I always feel relaxed and able to have some good banter with him too. I go once or twice a week with other exercise in between and his rates are very reasonable and competitive.
Joanne Moore: Anthony is fun crazy professional and very knowledgeable I lost 3 stone with him but he made enjoyable and he trained me in his private studio which helped me as I was over weight.im still training with him and would recommend him to anyone

I haven't exercised for some time and have a few health issues all of which Matt was able to work around to create a safe yet challenging exercise regime. Of course there are a few aches today but overall I already feel much better in myself and am looking forward to the next one. I would recommend anyone in their more mature years to try out the 30 day challenge at least - what have you got to lose?

Bob Thornton: This is THE friendliest place I’ve ever trained in. The instructors (big nod to Lisa & Ana) are on point. Great coaching, always checking technique and giving encouragement while pushing you for max effort. Other members are supportive of one another with friendly banter.Sadly, there is one major downside ... the cost! This seriously needs looking at DVCC if you want more members and is the sole reason I did not join.

Rhia: I have been with Adam for 3 almost 4 years now and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.Adam has always been very supportive of what I wanted to get out of my training and has always tried to help me achieve the goals I wanted to achieve.Since the end of the last lockdown my fitness has come on incredibly which is due to Adam's unfaltering support. More importantly, he has never made me feel self-conscious and ensures that I feel comfortable in the gym.Thank you for everything you've done over the past few years Adam. It means so much! :)
Theo Axford: ACPT is absolutely amazing at transforming people’s lives. I’ve been training with Adam for three years now and I’ve lost 30kg and built so much muscle that I barely recognise myself. I’ve got so much more confidence in pretty much everything I do and it’s all thanks to him.Adam makes you work for what you want in the gym and it is definitely tough but 100% worth it. He makes you feel very comfortable while you work out and self confidence has never been an issue. If you need to work on any issues post lockdown (as most of us do after months of takeaways) ACPT is absolutely worth the money. You pay for quality and this is worth it.

The Gaffer (Tim) has build something truely special at ETC by hiring the best coaches who not only know what they are doing (every injury i have had has been accomodated with adjustments to exercises) but are also some of the nicest people you will ever meet. And as for ALL the other members, these people are kind, encouraging, fun, understanding and every other thing that makes humanity awesome (If you dont believe me just ask about gym rule #6)!If you are looking for somewhere new to train that is completely different to anywhere else you have before which will help you create the best version of yourself inside & out give this place a go.A 30 day trial is all you need and if you dont think its the greatest place on earth you can walk away no questions asked.

Kirstin Westley: ETC, my honest review!I joined ETC after a lot (ok a huge) amount of persuading from my husband and friend who were already members seeing some great results and benefits. I joined in September 2021 and honestly can say haven’t looked back. My induction was with other new members and I was so scared, my nerves were on overdrive and could barely do the 5minute exercise! All the coaches made it fun and really looked after us all.I started attending core session (3 per week) plus a fit session. I started seeing my fitness and strength improving each week (the is a clever app to log your sessions) but the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE for me was in my mental health. I started to see my anxiety and overthinking decrease - yes I still have moments but with regular exercise the last year would of been a hell of a lot harder!!!Roll on 18months and I have competed in Hyrox (6times), NFG, Turf Games and competing a half marathon in a matter of weeks. Without all the coaches, friends I have made and the undoubted about of support from ETC members and coaches this would not have been possible!The MEMBERS - all the members at ETC are amazing, supportive, encouraging and a lot of fun! I am so proud to call lots of them my friends ♥️ they have cheered, hugged, laughed and wiped away tears. You couldn’t ask for a better COMMUNITY.If you have any doubts about joining! katrina cimetta: I've trained on and off for around 10 years but took quite the hiatus during lockdown and pregnancy. I was quite sad about it and lacked the motivation to get moving again, I kind of gave up on myself. I've been with ETC for 4 months and it has changed my life for the better. I'm strong again, my endurance has improved and I finally have some fitness goals to work towards. All of this is so important to me, for my physical and mental wellbeing. The coaches are knowledgeable and supportive (check out their podcast!) and the workouts are accessible for all fitness levels. When my last 'gym' closed I was heartbroken, it was such a unique place with fantastic people and an awesome coach that I honestly didn't know what I was going to do; I felt like I'd only just got my training mojo back in a place that really saw me (a queer, gender non-conforming person) and where I could be 100% myself without fear or worry and it was suddenly taken away... Tariq Ali: Same old routine on classes. Doesn’t really change things around or tell you whether your doing things right or not. Just gets the training session done. Owner distracts your training by talking to people who try to train during his class. Not worth it at all.

Hazel Rayson: I signed up for the PTS 8 week challenge to kickstart getting myself healthy again. I really enjoyed the gym workouts and even the DOMS afterwards. It's been nearly 10 years since I first trained at PTS in my roller derby days and it was always in the back of my mind to go back. I'm so glad that I did!While the gym got closed down in around week 5 of our challenge, the facebook group has kept me going with motivation and with little challenges every single day. I have  changed the way I'm eating, focusing on my macros with the help of Nina and focusing on losing weight and building strength to get over old injuries.In 8 weeks, I lost 6.4kgs. But by then my mindset had changed and I no longer craved the foods I used to I wanted to keep going. My goals are still the same and when the gym opens again I will be getting right back to where I left off.Since the end of the challenge, I've lost a further 6.2kgs and continuing to work every single day. Thank you PTS for giving me the motivation and expertise to do what I know is good for me.

michael shelton: I joined the gym after the first Covid lockdown, in the hope of getting a fitter and a better body after years of neglect. I joined the eight week program that I saw advertised on the internet and decided to jump in.The rules are simple you get a nutritionist that you send you food diary to at every meal, Mine was Nina and she helped me to realize that not all the bad foods are bad and everything in moderation is key, it’s not all plain chicken and riceNext you have to go to the gym three times a week, I choose the 30 minute coached sessions to start with, as I haven’t really entered the gym since school. The team are great as they point you in the right direction and after the first few sessions I was hooked, but it did make me notice how far I had let myself go. Big shout out to Ali, PJ and Alex, for the encouraging words and keeping it fun and lively.After a few weeks of this I started the weekend strength sessions. At the end of the eight weeks I immediately signed up as a member, and booked a few personal training sessions to correct my form and posture to help me progress further that I ever thought was possible.

James Knox: I was a member at PTS, Northampton for 2 amazing years having reluctantly had to change gyms due to moving out of the area.Having for many years doing the typical rounds of a different gym each year it was only when I was introduced to PTS was it that I found my home.What makes this gym unique about the others is not that there are no showers, mirrors, men in string vest but a gym with a community that you are happy, eager and actually excited to visit. It is only then are you able to commit to a regular and long term fitness programme.Whilst the community spirit is strong it has all the equipment that you need to achieve any goal that you have with classes run by friendly, professional and helpful trainers.This is a gym that will make you achieve any goal that you have!

Christopher Hann: Was here for a strongman competition. The gym itself is a really good space with lots of equipment. The staff there on the day were professional and knew how to properly run an event.

Tracy Goncalves: Excellent gym that's not your run of the mill chain. No airs or graces, just a fantastic club environment, great staff and supurb classes. Highly reccomend to anyone who is just thinking of starting out or for those that have been training for years
Sam Roberts: Had an awesome and well run competition here. Great place with a great range of equipment and knowledgable staff. Awesome vibe about the place with little ego. I highly recommend entering the novice competitions if you want to make your first step into comps.
P-J Gentle: Brilliant gym! You can do so much and don't have to be a member - just get a day pass or pay for individual classes. Very family friendly. You can do classes in Powerlifting, Strongman, Circuit Training, Kettlebells & *Body Blasters*. Or you can come and do your own thing or pay for a Personal Trainer. So much equipment!
Robert Galvin: This gym is awesome i have achieved so much in terms of weight loss and beyond my expectations due to the awesomness which is Ali and Faye also i take my gf lad Ben here who is 11 yrs old and registered blind and has special needs, Ben finds it hard to socially fit it but at pts everyone loves Ben so what are ya waiting for dont wait till tomorrow give it a try today 😃
