mick turner: The Bakery items are always good here, unfortunately the staff/managers rudeness let’s it down, we went in today a family of 4 and felt pushed into ordering before we were ready too, asked several times what we want while the kids we making their minds up, it wasn’t busy and not needed. Not the 1st time this has happened

Christopher McHale: The Duston Village Bakery sits in the heart of Old Duston, serving it's community and the surrounding areas with sweet baked treats, hot food and cakes.The Bakery is run by Jenni, a very kind and friendly woman with years of experience in baking and hospitality.The reception when you enter is always warm, friendly and welcoming - even when it's busy.A range of freshly baked cakes, biscuits and bread greets you as you enter through the front door, as well as a selection of hot baked foods including the Duston Pasty, which if asked about Jenni will happily tell you is made up of chopped up locals and is definitely not a local version of the classic Cornish Pasty.Attached to the bakery is a cozy cafe seating area with table service, allowing you to enjoy any of the goods the bakery provides in an almost home style dining experience. Depending on the season, the cafe area is always decorated festively, and a selection of artwork is presented on the walls - available for sale if you so desire.The cafe menu consists of various hand made sandwiches, which can be tailored to your needs, jacket potatoes and paninis, as well as everything they sell in the bakery too.A small bakery shop at the back of the seating area provides all the bakery decoration goods you could imagine, and several that you probably didn't think you needed.The Duston Village Bakery is a genuine gem, hidden away on the Duston main road and is well worth a visit, even if it's just to pop in and to be feel at home while you buy a cream scone.
Katherine Gardiner: This star is given for the very well made baked goods. However, the customer service is absolutely appalling. I have been a regular customer of this bakery for years, yet the staff now are incredibly rude. I came in today and had spent a lot of money on cakes for family and friends, I thought I had picked up all my cakes on my way out of the bakery, and was very abruptly reminded that I had left some behind. She then rolled her eyes at me. Friendly staff would do this little bakery huge justice. Remember that kindness and a simple smile doesn't cost a thing.

Hayley musson: I started my course in September and had to have some time after due to a very bad mental health conditjen tutor was not helpful when back for one class and explained what happened then I was off sick and she's now withdrawn me from the course.

Bill Pearson: A group of us were there for a Xmas lunch (9/12/21) cooked and supplied by the catering students (but overseen by watchful staff). Generally the food was excellent as was the service by the students. A few grumbles about vegetables being luke warm and main courses not served at the same time and having to watch other guests eat. The price for the quality of food and its presentation was exceptional value. Many commercial restaurants we have been to would not score 8/10 as the marks we gave here
roblox fan: bad moving on corse, ( was bullied and the class mates where rude and inappropriate. the staff never knew what was going on half the time and ended up leaving I do not recommend this corse. yet alone ambers taxi contract that they have/had.
Richard Keenan: We went to the open day and what we experienced so far is that all the staff we met were very polite and friendly. Everything we asked about they answered and gave use more information that we didn't know. My daughter was very impressed and I think she has made her mind up about where she will be going in September
Craig Mckirdy: Cancelled my sons football course the Friday before he was due to start on the Monday. He was attending pre course training and was told then. No official communication from the college. We had to contact them. Hundreds of pounds spent on kit etc. Thanks for the stress.

krishanna robinson: This is for the adult English GCSE course. My tutor was fantastic! Which of course made the whole thing thoroughly enjoyable. Building was a nice big, clean building and staff were always helpful and polite. A wonderful experience in all and I cant wait to return to do my GCSE maths.

Debbie Gardner: Foraging course was good and interesting whilst we were out walking. But once back at Bay Tree Cottage we had to ask for a cup of tea and were really left to our own devices whilst lunch was made. It was a good course but I think it was very much over priced for what you got.

She put this wedding cake together based a combination of two pictures we had given! I knew I wanted a red velvet drip cake with goal keeper gloves on top. I had no idea what colours I wanted, but the lady I spoke to on the phone was so helpful, She gave me some ideas, and I sent her a photo of his goalie gloves which they copied, from the make, to a little muddy! He loved it.

They gave us samples to take home and there was never any pressure to book.We went for the 3 tier Dior design and had lots of lovely compliments from our guests about how tasty it was and how beautiful it looked.The cookies were also a hit as they were personalised and looked so lovely with our name and personalised to our wedding colours. They were the perfect favours and very reasonably priced!Thank you ladies for the perfect cake and cookies!
