Aimee Bayliss: had a very good christmas hamper last year hence the stars so decided to order again this year however stars are deducted due to the communication being very bad, and 2 out of 3 of the meat joints DONT weigh the minimum its advertised at. paid for the large hamper to recieve meat weighing in less, lets just hope its as nice as last time as so far its not been.

It smells off and it’s turned me completely off meat.spent £68 on meat from here and it’s all in the bin.delivery driver rude and swore in front of my 4 year old daughter.

Denise Ferreira: I have been coming to this road for years, but only recently decided to explore the shops around, and i found this one! Great shop and great finds! The shop is well put together, great design, clean, plenty of varied meats and deli products available to chose from, the assistant was engaging and polite, overall great experience! Will be going back and recommend.

John Whittall: Have used Kempsters for our meat for some while now, great service and the quality is very good, a traditional butcher with customer focussed service.
bo a: I brought some chicken, sausages and bacon from here. The bacon and sausages were good and delicious however when i went to cook the chicken (about 2 days after ) it had a horrible smell, was grey and slimey.. i was quite disappointed about that.
Stephen Pollock: Now under new ownership it is called Kempsters. A real butcher who sells top quality meat cut to your requirements. Will deliver to your door; same day if you call early enough. Cannot praise too highly.

Some permanent workers do not have to learn paperwork and because of this others are not allowed on holiday. The rubber boots you have to work in are uncomfortable and it can be difficult to get another one if the previous one is torn. The night (cleaning) shift does not do its job properly. Rotten meat can be found both inside the machines and on the ground. This place is disgusting in every way! I do not recommend to anyone!

Keeping employees under pressure. Holiday is granted only to the "privileged" persons. Humiliation is not uncommon either. No man deserves such a place.

Lauren “Lauren LRD” r: The best meat in the county. Really good selection, and a very fair price. The other things in there are good too (nice selection of cheeses - which is important to me, and good snacks. There is some veg there but it’s not a massive selection. The staff are friendly too. 1: £32.74 for 6 burgers, 6 Cumberland sausages 550g and 2 rib eye steaks 557g, sausages and burgers tasted average with hardly any flavour, rib eye steaks were nice and thick on request but no better than what you could find at Lidl.

We have had meat from here as friends did shopping for us and got meat here instead of the supermarket and it was absolutely lovely which prompted us to visit at the first opportunity. I'm sure it will be a 5 star rating when we sample what we bought today. Very friendly, well organised re Covid. Loved when you pay, the card reader is passed through a gap on the end of a stick. I'm sure we will be regular visitors. Decided 5 star because I don't think we will be disappointed.
