Luke Wright: Awful. Booked a hygienist appointment and was told to pay in advance. The link didn't work so I came in to reception today to pay in person. Was told my appointment is cancelled due to the hygienist not being in now. They may say they tried contacting, etc. etc. but didn't.My partner, myself and three members of my family were looking for a dentist to pay privately and I was the one testing before we all registered. They obviously do not need the business. I wouldn't mind as much if it were NHS but they can't let me on via NHS.Embarrassing.

Ann Rolfe: I have always recieved excellent professional care here. I have had some extensive treatment last year, which involved been in the chair for nearly two hours in one go. The dentist explains everything to you and talk to you about what he is doing. I can put my trust in them and feel quite chilled going to appointments. No need for getting nervous. I visit this dentist on a regular basis and I can truly say they are highly recommended.

Rumel Miah: I called in via phone and the receptionist did not seem interested at all to help me. She could not care as a patient what I was experiencing. However in the afternoon I decided to walk in to the practice and requested to speak to the practice manager or a senior member of staff. I was introduced to AMIT MISTRY who cared and although he was busy he made time to see me the next day. The level of service received by Amit was exceptional and exceeded my expectations.I would have given it a 1 star if it wasn't for Amit.My opinion is that if some of the reception staff had some level of care for patients over the phone, overall review about this practice would be more than what it's currently on the 3 stars.Kind regards

They managed to fit me in the same day, the dentist I saw...Jasraj Dhadda...was so thorough and calming.***Edited as only two weeks later I was given minor oral surgery. I was so nervous but Manu Philips and Lindsey were calming and very efficient. A broken wisdom tooth extracted in seconds! Fab care and great service. Highly recommend.
Ben Hammond: Was referred to this dentist tonight by A&E at NGH because my partner had an extraction but the nerve or root was left exposed. She has been in absolute agony since it happened, she’s not been able to eat. She can’t talk without it hurting. A&E told us they were open till 8pm, gave us a slip of paper that states open 8am - 8pm 7 days a week, their opening times near the door said 8pm, even Google said 8pm and I know that’s not always right. I tried ringing multiple times but no answer. Absolutely waste of time. Definitely don’t go there if you’ve got an emergency in the evening.

Nash Moise: If there was an option for 0 stars that would be better, cause even one star is too much. This practice is the worst. You can never get through to anyone on phone. Had a filling done, which came off a month later, had to redo again and fight my case as I was asked to pay again! Had a severe tooth infections, again no proper treatment, infection became so bad I ended up paying for emergency treatment privately cause my face was swollen and i couldn't sleep. I called 111 and they advised me to call my dentist, which I did but of course no luck. All could have been avoided if i was given the proper care 2 months prior. They just gave me antibiotics with no follow up or anything. The tooth needed root canal treatment!!!! Giving the antibiotics seems to be standard approach from them, even when it is evident that root canal is needed. Also, the dentist (female) is kinda rude, whats that about. !
Steve Antipolo: I have to give low as the first impression was bad.They appear to have one disabled parking space occupied by someone without a blue badge. The disabled access was locked with a sign on the door telling clients to walk round the front and not ring the bell!When asked inside about it their excuse was that they were busy or don't hear the bell.Despite being obviously reliant on two crutches they made no attempt to ask if two flights of stairs was ok even after they were asked about access.Dentist and assistant were fine. Were this review based on then it would be 4 stars but, with the attitude of the administration team, some will not get in the building.They need to heavily improve to meet their own inclusiveness attitude

The care and compassion has been the best I've experienced and they've started the journey of fixing my mouth. The dentists themselves, the assistants and the receptionists are all lovely and non judgemental. Would recommend.

Alexandru Baciu: I have bad teeth genes from both parents and after many years of pain and tooth loss I had an appointment at Kingsthorpe Grove Dental Surgery. From all my experience with Doctor Yoga I can honestly say that not only he is a professional dentist with "gold hands", but also a kind and wise man. I had no pain at all during the procedure and he was always checking on me to see if I was alright. Paisley: I have been a patient of Yoga for many years. He is and has always been very patient and understanding. He explains everything to you so you understand what treatment you need and how everything will work.I have had a few teeth removed and a root canal with all these treatments I didn’t feel a thing, I’ve never felt more comfortable in a dental chair. Myself and my entire family now commute to see yoga and will continue to do so.I would highly recommend Yoga to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Gooders: Yoga has been looking after my teeth for many years and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else for my dental needs. For someone who was was very scared of the dentist I now know that I’m in the best hands and have even completed a course of full braces for 18 months under yogas care. I now get asked if my teeth are veneers because they are so straight. I used to hate smiling in photos showing my teeth but this has now changed my confidence completely.

I have been going to this dentist for a few years now and am always happy with the service. They have been consistent with my checkups and are always quick to check me in with an emergency. The receptionist is always polite and helpful. Every appointment I have had the dentist has been patient and informative on how to better look after my teeth. Staff have been here for a long time so it's a friendly and familiar atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Nicole Dunkley: I missed an appointment (due to being poorly) and because I missed that appointment and haven’t had an appointment since the end of 2018 they will not let me remain at the practice and have asked me to find another dentist when I rung today and asked to book an appointment. I asked if I could rejoin the practice they said no. When speaking about this matter on the phone and asking to rejoin the practice I was just met with a ‘No’ and rudeness.
Jordan S: After ringing an emergency dentist with a problem and being let down, these guys saved the day. They called me several times to discuss my problem and then got me an appointment. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and put me at ease before my appointment. The dentist was then also very helpful, explained my options and prices to me in detail. Would definitely recommend and just wish I had discovered these sooner after a previous bad experience elsewhere.

Mark Mountford: I telephoned this morning with regards to registering as a patient. I was asked to call in and fill in a form, which I did. Within 10 minutes I was registered and had an appointment. Alice on reception was very polite, helpful and professional, explaining the whole process to me.Thank you very much Alice, you are an extremely valuable asset to this practice.
Cheryl Wright: I've only been a patient at this dental practise for a couple of month but feel that I have been treated well. After losing a place at my old practise I was taken on by this practise, it's clean and very inviting, the receptionist is very friendly as are all the staff I have encountered. My treatment has been explained to me and have a had a white filling replace an old filling. The work was painless and professionally installed I've had no problems and am looking forward to being a happy patient for the future. I would recommend this practise to anyone.

Mohammed Abdulmagid: Awful dentists, just try to charge you and make money. I paid a deposit to book an appointment and missed the appointment due to my father passing and they tried charging me £50 or else I would get deregistered. The deposit more than enough pays for 25 minutes of the dentists time that was missed. They’re a business who just try to maximise profits and money that was lost during the pandemic. Stay away and get yourself on a waiting list at another surgery!- In reply to the below comment- I only missed one appointment thank you which was in Feb for a filling. Do not try and cover this up by blaming it on me. I tried to reschedule the appointment and mentioned about my father passing in which you didn't care and wanted to charge the £50 regardless. If you're looking for a business and dentist that treats you with respect and dignity STAY AWAY. They have just blatantly tried to lie and mention I missed several when it was just on2 due to a reason I believe is quite substantial.
Vivian Ngozi N: A very awful place. Went there for scaling and polishing, sadly it was not done properly. X-ray was done during consultation and I was given a treatment plan which I paid for but on the day of treatment though the dentist totally messed up and wasted my time twice... I was asked to pay another £95 for white crown. The surgeon never explained what he did nor why I m expected to pay extra. Took a pix of my teeth before the scaling and after. No difference!! Absolute waste of money and time. They don't deserve any star.

Ian Gulliman: I have been coming to the Elms Dental Practice since 1987 when my first dentist was Mr Sharpe. Since then whoever my dentist has been, I have always had excellent service and care. If you are looking for a professional dentist there is no other Dental practice I would trust with my care.

Alan March: I visited for a biannual routine check up and all went well - friendly people and so forth. But then I was told that my dentist is going private and my charges would rise from £56.20 a year to £248.40 a year (paid monthly) - a four and a half times increase. I wasn't offered a transfer to another NHS dentist. I don't know what I'm going to do now. I've been with the practice for nearly 50 years and feel that I've just been dumped from the NHS.
Jazzi: I have been seeing Bianca for a scale and polish for several years now and have been extremely satisfied with her professional service and would gladly recommend her.
Lis Johnson: Parking can be a bit of a nightmare (give yourself some extra time to wait and be able to park in their carpark). My dentist though, Meghna, is absolutely lovely - v kind, helpful and patient. I couldn't ask for a better dentist.

Tamara Reid: COTTON BALL LEFT IN TOOTHI had gone in to this dentist due to a cracked tooth, they had checked me over and didn't really explain to me properly the options that I had and at what costs it would be at.A decision was made that a root canal treatment was needed and that in the future a crown would need to be fitted.Once they had done the root canal treatment they closed it off with a temp filling called Cavit and given me an injection of some sort to avoid any future infections.It was then after I was informed that the total to save this tooth would cost around 6k which is ridiculous and is not something i could afford.Once the anesthetic had worn off I could not eat on that side for days, the tooth was still bleeding filling and the filling was shaped so that i couldn't even shut my teeth together (I realise this can usually be the case straight after a treatment as such however I had left this 1week and nothing had changed).I could no longer take the pain and decided to go else where for a check up when it was said that their was a cotton ball within the root canal still which had caused periodontitis, a serious disease from infection.Although the staff are very friendly I must warn everyone that 44 derngate dentist are not 100% trustworthy and are after one thing MONEY

Booked appointment through High recommendations from others. The dentist, was friendly, professional and thorough. Took his time to explain dental procedures, and plan for treatment of dental problems. I had complete faith in the dentist professional. I didn't feel forced into anything, we discussed the dental plan together and came to a mutual decision. He was very helpful and polite. The staff couldn't do enough for me. I had a problem with a tooth,was in pain for 4 days, 30weeks pregnant, called other 3 dentists,and been rejected as they did not want to take me at this term. Called The private dental care, had an emergency appointment straight away, seen by Dr. Chandan... empathy,care and responsibility is all I can tell about him. Enoch Antwi: Completely uncomfortable with the fact that every single enquiry with this practice costs money. I saw a dentist and a hygienist in two separate appointments last year. Only to be told I have to pay about £100 for an enquiry on potential procedures I should consider. Not to mention I’m yet to receive the images taken from my initial consultation in 2022. The entire service rendered here lacks the human touch. Just a money extraction system it feels like.
Ginta: I was very cations and sceptical coming to another dentist after quite a few terrible dentist clinic experience, but this one came with recommendation and definitely wowed me. The service so far is amazing, everything is explained in detail, the care is the best is class so far i have seen. Yes there is a price tag, but definitely worth it. It's pleasent, clean, tidy, great friendly staff, and amazing care- can't ask for more. Well, some dedicated parking spots would be nice, as it can be tricky to find a parking spot, but it's not a big issue

Chelsea (NovaRhianne): The 44 Derngate is a very professional private practise keeping customer satisfaction and hygiene to its highest standard. The atmosphere is rather sophisticated, the staff are well-mannered and delightful, and the dental staff are pleasant and reassuring to communicate with. Additionally, the prices for treatment aren't too bad. I'd recommend giving it a visit.

Fiona Furman: It's actually impossible to over estimate how utterly terrified I was of having a tooth extraction. I belong to a different brilliant surgery and had been referred for sedation but it was taking forever and the pain was becoming unbearable. I decided to go privately with Abington but it turned out that it was still going to be 6 weeks. The dentist was so kind and patient with me and convinced me to have it done there and then. This was a good plan as I didn't have loads of time to get hysterical about it. Within 15 minutes it was done, pain free, in a super supportive environment. The TV screen in the ceiling is a great idea by the way! I can't believe I've done it. Thank you so much!

I can only speak for my dentist but I have no reason to doubt the rest of the practice, Dr Avinash Patel was incredibly well informed and he really kept me informed of my options, he presented me with photos and X-rays and explained everything, I do ask a lot of questions. in addition to great customer service, the quality of his workmanship is superb. I had quite an expensive procedure and had put this off for some time until I found the right dentist. I've found a good dentist and I am very happy with the results. and my thanks to the whole team at the practice.

Stephen L: Having not visited a dentist for a few years after a bad experience, I was full of trepidation and anxiety when recommended East Park Dentist. However, after one of my teeth had seemingly fallen apart I needed to get it looked at.I was met by very friendly and helpful reception staff who were understanding of my obvious nerves. I was visiting for a pre-patient consultation and needed to complete a number of forms before registration.Upon completion of the forms, I was shown to a beautiful, clean and pleasant waiting room where I could manage my panic in peace. There, I was met by Ria, one of the Associate Dentists. From the very start her manner and obvious enjoyment of her role was evident and I was put at ease from the very start. I was informed every step of the way what was happening after a detailed and friendly conversation about my general health and teeth history.At all points Ria showed her extensive knowledge and took the time to explain the more complex issues I was facing. Even though this was my first consultation, I was made to feel like a valued client and both Ria and her assistant were always approachable and friendly.I have since signed up for their patient plan and actually find myself without fear of my next visit. This in itself, is the reason why I feel the need to pen this review and wholeheartedly recommend East Park Dentist for their exemplary customer care. I feel my dental wellbeing is in good hands and I feel confident that with any ongoing treatment my teeth are in good hands.I owe Ria a very big thankyou, as well as all I spoke with at East Park Dentist.

Ryan Marsh: Visited EPD and had the following weird experience. Greeted by 2 receptions and found myself with 2 other visitors in reception area. We all soon found ourselves chatting and laughing about living our best life and finding the nearest bear garden strangely! Then called to see hygienist and then the dentist. Both lovely people. Full of insight and experience and advice to better my mouth and teeth. Rakhee the dentist was superbly helpful, proactive work suggested where as in the past at other dentists they have just reacted and then it’s too late. The whole experience of visiting the dentist has changed over the last few years since joining the EPD practice. Highly recommend this team for sure!

I have been a patient at EPD for over fifty years although I started out with Peter Bason in his surgery opposite the Northampton Rugby Club before he moved the practice Pete showed me that not all dentists were unmindful of the fears some people have. This caring form of treatment has carried on at EPD even though Pete has retired. Thankyou all.I now see Gavinder who is every bit as kind and caring as Pete was. I don’t think I will ever be anything but nervous due to an unfortunate start with dentists in my very early years but I dont have the dread that I once experienced and I am confident enough to go for my regular check ups.The receptionists are very welcoming and the whole atmosphere of the surgery and waiting rooms is calm. Thankyou everyone.

Wolf: Shocking, just shocking.They only now take NHS appointments on Monday and no other days. Had to come in for an emergency appointment and they were off and rude. The moment paying in full was mentioned attitude immediately changed. Smiles, loads of talking and reassurances, promises about help and ect.The other reviews on here are also from the staff and their friends and family, just shocking!As an edit, this Dentist is no longer taking or allowing NHS patients and now only operates as a paid or 'private' service only.18/05/2023

EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE CANCELLED US!Seems like the money from private patients is more important to them, rather than looking after loyal patients who have been with you them for years.Absolutely shocking!

I complained by email. After nine working days I resent the complaint, & was told they wanted ten working days to investigate. Poor communication & dreadful patient care
