Joy Anderson: Had a fabulous Sunday roast here. I have generally avoided Sunday roasts as they are always a disappointment. However I had an amazing roast lamb dinner at the Wooden Walls. The lamb was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. A good selection of fresh vegetables and blinding roast potatoes and Yorkie puds. The gravy was amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend.
Kirsty Wright: This was the perfect place to stop. We choose the pub at random to break up our journey, and couldn't have chosen a better place... The landlady was the loveliest, and as the kitchen has just closed they suggest we order take away, gave us plates, cutlery, and beautiful kindness. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

Ann Allen: Absolutely fabulous sunday lunch today, first time we have been to this venue. Very nice decor and nice attentive staff. We will definetely visit again.
Jude Lawson: Previously stayed here, it was great hence the return visit. Stayed elsewhere as fully booked but booked meal for 7.30. Ordered food and it arrived in reasonable time. Lamb shank lovely but cold at one end, carrots barely cooked. Young lad came to ask for feedback as he said they had had some issues. We decided to have dessert. At about 8.40 I went to order to be told the kitchen was closed. Very disappointed we finished our drinks and went to pay. I asked what time the kitchen closed and was told 8 o clock. I said that it really wasn't good service. At no time were we told this, why take a booking for 7.30 if no food available after 8. The lady gave us a 20% discount which I think was reasonable. All in all very disappointed and will not return.
