Aran Anderson: Moving home is usually very stressful, especially long distance. The guys at Holdem Removals were very helpful, friendly, and super fast. They made everything more relaxing on moving day, 100% recommend!The whole process was very simple, I took a few photos of what needed to be moved, and received a quote back within minutes then paid a deposit. On the day the guys turned up on time then confirmed what was staying / going, quickly started loading, dismantling furniture, packing and even taping and filling boxes with things we missed and didn't finish packing the night before due to running out of tape! When arriving at the new property they were incredibly careful, put a sheet down and removed their shoes when entering and carrying furniture upstairs (no dirt, marks or dents anywhere).Even very fragile things like our house plants in pots that I expected to get damaged (due to the bumpy and steep roads of the Peak District on the journey) were completely fine... They even allowed me to ride along in the truck to the house, while other services said I'd have to make my own way there! Thank you again.

The team were very polite and careful with our belongings (including a large glass table, and some antique wooden furniture), and were incredibly efficient with moving all our furniture out of our house and into the van.They quickly and carefully dismantled several large pieces of furniture, and were also very happy to move un-boxed items such as a Dyson fan, a filing cabinet, and even our plant troughs and a potted Christmas tree.They arrived quickly at our new London address, and despite a much longer trek from their lorry to the new flat (crossing an underground car park and up a lift) they managed it all very efficiently, were polite to neighbours, and helped set my flat up and re-build all the furniture.The team were very clean and tidy, and nothing was damaged or broken during the move. I am very happy with the service we received, and it was a very smooth and easy move thanks to the Holdem team.

Kathryn Hall: I used BMB to move last week, they were so nice and friendly and came out to quote. I had quite an unusual heavy item to move and they arranged extra kit to move that.On the day, they were very prompt, careful, hard working and they needed to call in a bit of help for the heavy item. Two extra men arrived in a few minutes and all was fine. They were a lot of fun and made what could be a stressful day quite fun really. Philip Thompson: Although I am just reviewing my move which was on 20th May 2016 I have been waiting for BMB to respond to to me over the loss of all my CDs (400 - 450) it would seem that they have no interest in finding out what has happened to my property so I would recommend that any future customers have proof of what is removed from their old property and make sure it arrives at their new home.

The quotation process was very simple and straight forward, a competitive quote was offered up and a date set for packing and shipping. The guys came and effectively executed the task at hand, no fuss and efficiently. Of course, we have not received goods yet, but have no reason to believe there will be a problem. I was recommended by a good friend.Price quoted was way lower than Pickfords which was a good start.On the morning of the move we were feeling pretty anxious until the W&K truck arrived and the three fit looking and friendly crew alighted led by David.All three introduced themselves by name with big reassuring smiles and handshakes.Our stress levels plummetted. We knew we were in good hands.Not much more to say really. The move went like clockwork. Everything packed with care. No breakages. No dramas. The guys were just great.

Louise Nixon: Could not recommend Walkers Removals enough. Our move was a nightmare from start to finish with delayed exchange (3 days before move) and not getting keys till 4pm on day of completion. Walkers were amazing throughout the entire process, so understanding and patient. Jan in the office was beyond helpful and made a really stressful situation that bit more bearable. Guys who packed and moved us into our new home were brilliant, friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely won’t be moving again any time soon, but would 100% use Walkers again. Sharon Bembridge: Our story is rather different. Our move was initially planned in August, for another property 1hr away, we were given a quote for this. We finally completed on another property 20 mins away, we were told it would be a 3 day move which is of course reflected in the quote.On Thursday 13th October, the team arrived punctually, within 30mins they requested tea by dropping hints, when we didn’t provide biscuits, they were not happy! On completion day, 14th October, the crew arrived and commenced the move, all box’s were clearly marked, once we completed (12’ ) the crew commenced offloading, all boxes were clearly marked, in a rush to finish early on Friday (effectively a 2 day move) to move everything, the garage can only be described as a mountain stuff piled high up, can’t get in to sort through it, boxes for bedrooms were in garage, boxes for garage were upstairs etc etc. We were given the bill before they left, we paid over £3000. The washer and dryer move was also included in the price, I ended up disconnecting the machine as the men were completely unfamiliar with moving a washer, at the new property both washer and dryer were dumped in the utility, with myself having to install and move both into place. A very dissatisfied customer paying top notch prices for substandard service. Don’t use, go the Smeeton Panton!
Audrey Tang: Couldn't be more impressed.From the first phone call to the moving team driving away from our new home Walkers were outstanding... AND we were one of the examples of not getting our keys until late in the day, so not only did they arrive by 8.30am as agreed, getting us out by noon, but they then waited around as we did, finally moving us in by 6.30 pm (including breaking down and reassembling furniture). The team that supported us were efficient, polite and so clearly knew what they were doing it made a stressful day so much easier.I would always recommend them and certainly would use them again.Thank you!

Alex Snell: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. On 3 occasions Walkers were told about the fragile nature of our stone dining table, however it was damaged in transit. The bigger problem is their insurance, they only use the industry minimum which will not put the table right as it was before the move. Do not use if you have expensive or delicate items. Their price was quite competitive.

Hannah Rose: Paul and Dodge were fabulous when they helped me move furniture from Daventry to Northampton. They had a really tough time removing my sofa as the hallway was a very strange shape with a step in the middle. I really didn’t want to leave the sofa behind and so they worked so hard and after 45 minutes of difficulty they somehow managed to get it out! They were very professional and friendly and I will definitely be using them in the future but I’ve already promised that there will not be a difficult hallway for them to manoeuvre. We had a change of date a few times but they just went with it no hassle. The guys were fantastic on the day (early Jan 22), nothing was too much trouble for them and they went over and above helping us move in and make it an enjoyable experience, they were such a laugh and made it stress free. Tina Fooks: TLC Removals moved me from Bedfordshire to Northumberland in September 2020. Turned up early (positive), talked about other firms over loading etc, constantly 'beefing' themselves up about how they would never do that & how professional they were having been trained by & worked for some of the well known removal firms. In their-rush' to load their 2 vans they nearly overlooked stuff in my shed . On A1 at Northampton they got pulled over & told to go to a weighing place for lorries. They were over weight & got fined. One of vans broke down en route & my furniture (including bed) was transferred in pouring rain from their broken down van to another van they brought up from Northampton. Some stuff was damaged & despite them taking photos on mobile I never heard anything from them & still haven't nearly one year on!! They left my wardrobes in hallway saying they wouldn't fit in bedroom but me ^ my friend navigated them into the bedroom the following day. A week later I discovered I was missing a very sentimental ornament Apparently it had been left on the broken down van A friend arranged to collect from Northampton & nearly a year later, due to Covid I have been reunited with it. At £2,000 I would have expected a really professional move To be honest I think they were rushing (probably got pulled over for speeding which resulted in a weigh in) so they could get to/from NE in one day. They weren't even gonna leave until the Bank payment was made when recovery van turned up at 8pm!!! Got the gift of the gab but unfortunately not professionalism
