Sheila Brockwell: Home Instead Senior Care have looked after both our Aunt and latterly our Uncle. The care, commitment, attention to detail and first class service is excellent. The carers worked tirelessly to ensure our relatives were always clean, well fed and comfortable but more importantly they embraced them as fellow human beings and engaged with them and we know they enriched their lives. Steph Small: My Mum has complex physical health needs and when my Dad developed dementia they were struggling to live safely at home, even with the support of a live-in carer. They came to Spencer House for respite care, but it soon became clear that their quality of life was vastly improved (as was mine) and they have now moved into a beautiful suite with all of the comforts of home. The suite is open plan with sleeping area, living area, dining area, kitchenette and ensuite. Spencer House is well staffed with wonderful individuals who always go the extra mile, from the fantastic management team to the lovely laundry lady who knew my parents' names from day one. There is entertainment every day and my parents say the food is good. There are communal dining and living areas on each floor and I've just left them in their suite having a cup of tea with a visiting resident. My parents differing needs are both well met and I can't recommend Spencer House highly enough; it is such a huge relief to know that my parents are so well cared for.
Kelly Kostova: I have worked for the company for 13 years and been at Spencer House since it opened 8 years ago.I love working here and the atmosphere and big family feel of the home.

Rebecca Goodchild: My 98 year old grandma was admitted to Spencer House in early January after a period in hospital where she had contracted COVID.I was kept informed almost daily of grandma's wellbeing and general welfare. Sadly she was re-admitted to hospital after only a few weeks and she passed away shortly afterwards.I cannot fault the care grandma received in her short time at Spencer House and I will be forever grateful for the dignity and respect she was given in her last weeks.Special thanks to Shweta for showing such empathy after grandma's passing.
Philip Crowe: Until moving to Spencer House in October 2019, my wife was in a different care home, so she and I have experienced different levels of care and is therefore able to make genuine evaluations of this care home.Spencer House is a beautiful home; the first thing you notice on entering the building is the high-quality look of the furnishings, which continues throughout the building.The receptionists are very polite and make you feel very welcome, this is mirrored by all the carers, nurses and admin staff making the home very welcoming and a reassuring place to live.Food is of a restaurant standard and there is a good selection of meals on the daily menu.My wife requires a certain level of nursing and believes that she is well looked after and is very happy at Spencer House, the management and staff should be very proud of what they’ve achieved and how happy they make people feel.
Chris Chowne: My sister come to Spencer House in the Summer of 2018 and settled in immediately. The staff and other residents are so friendly and she loves all the attention she gets. She joins in as many activities as she can after her stroke and her speech is still improving slowly. This home is really excellent.
tilly finch: Can’t fault the staff, they are all absolutely amazing and nothing is ever too much. The premises is well kept and I wouldn’t mind staying there myself haha can’t fault it !!
Rebecca Lundgren: My mother came here from hospital, and about three days later my daughter and I said something was wrong with her, but all we got was no she's fine, we called the nurse in twice insisting no she's not, but no she's fine. We asked for the doctor but no doctor is on site and would have to wait until the next day. Come the next day and twenty hours later they finally did some bloods. I get a call a few hours later my mother was being taken back into hospital and that she had SEPSIS and was taken to hospital very very ill.
Carmen Luck: Ok place but be warned my mother in law was discharged without any care 88 partially blind deaf diabetic and they just discharged her not sure if fhis is their responsibility or the hospital but scary nonetheless
Brenda Scoble: We have found Spencer House to be an excellent Care Home so far. My mother has been very well looked after, the staff are very friendly and so welcoming and supportive of residents and their family. They work hard to make it an interesting and happy environment while also promoting the residents to be as independent as possible.
neil parker: Spencer House is an excellent Care Home, the staff are always polite and helpful and the residents are well cared for and happy.I visit many Care Homes on a regular basis and I would rate Spencer House as consistently one of the best.The Activities program is superb, the residents not only appear to really enjoy the wide range of activities on offer but benefit from them as well.Ten out of ten.

Darren Fellows: Short visit only from a professional, so from what I have experienced on several visits are it's a beautifull building in well kept grounds. Inside is also well kept but not modern (old school home feeling) which is nice as it does not feel sterile and boring.Staff are well presented and very polite.I will add more when appropriate
