BP Shorts: Appalling customer service. Very rude and unhelpful store manager. Won't take an item back even though Argos reps falsely oversold its capability on the website. He's happy to see me throw away ££ for a useless piece of garbage. Looking at other comment about the store manager, it looks like this is his standard behaviour with customers. I dealt with other people here all these years and never had an issue. The first time I have one, it's this guy, and he's the manager? Good job, Argos.

Cosmin: I ordered a waredrobe from them and firstly I received 2 wrong packages which have been replaced same day and secondly, the waredrobe had a wrong item inside. I asked them to replace it and they said it will take 4 days. But obviously after 2 hours of work, I couldn’t just leave half of the waredrobe in the middle of the room waiting for them to send the replacement.

Young blonde haired lady and if I read her name badge right, I believe her name was Sophie. Damian Norris: Worst customer service ever received from argos ! We ordered a TV unit on 11th of Jan and it said it would be ready for collection 13th from 9am but to wait for a text to say its ready. So 14th rolls round and still no text decided to call and was told to wait for the text. its now the 17th and still no text to say its ready. So go to check online and the online bot says its ready but when we arrive the item is not there(waste of time, fuel and had to pay for parking) Worst website I've ever used and no one is willing to resolve it being told it should be ready for collection this Thursday (20th) which is not acceptable. And all we keep getting told is this an estimated date but nowhere online does it say that or on the order .

that hurt: Used to shop here a lot but had them rip me off or attempt to twice in one week so never again. The first one I spotted was the shelf advertised on sale discount not coming up on the till. They sorted it but with much kerfuffle. The second one was a bag of compost which had no shelf price but I checked my receipt at home and they had charged me for a fictional 36 litre bag on the barcode not a 33 litre bag that I bought. The 36 litre bag does not exist on their website. They must be raking it in at the head office if not many people spot their dodgy barcodes. It's a handy shop but I won't be ripped off. Their customer service reply was useless. Especially as I can't return a heavy growbag to the shop like a lighter or smaller item. 🙄.

Lynda pinfold: Excellent large general store. Very neat, clean and tidy. Well arranged so generally easy to find what you want, but if you do struggle there is always an assistant around to give friendly aid. Good value for money.

UK Werner: This shop has gone downhill. Long queues at the checkout on a Saturday as only 2 tills open and the self service checkouts are not in operation. The card readers are set up in an awkward position as they still have the Covid screens up. On the plus side I bought a cafetiere which was only £6.

Dandy Mae: Friendly staff, good range of stock They have a bunch of stock locked up to prevent theft so if you want to buy something like that, be pepared to wait a few moments for it to be retrieved for you. Go early in a Saturday to avoid crowds (9.30am was great for me!).

It’s only when you get to the till and there is another sign with very small print at the bottom saying doesn’t include white paint. I feel this is at best immoral and at worse dishonest, I shall not be shopping at B&Q ever again

Steve Antipolo: I can't remember the last time I bought anything here. I keep going as a choice for home or DIY but it falls short every time. The lack of trust with customers doesn't make it feel welcoming either. When not buying it would be nicer if that always had a direct flow to the exit. Sometimes it's blocked with stock.For some reason, they've never fixed the toilet, strange for a DIY store!I've IBS, I really need to go when I need to go so I actively avoid places which are not disabled friendly like that

We decided on a beautiful shaker kitchen, which was put together by our kitchen planner, Charlie Harrow. Excellent communication and service skills were given with all the details shown on their autocad design software.

Mr S: Poorly managed branch. I did a click and collect for two garden pots. When I arrived at the branch, they weren’t ready. Waited ages then they brought out these filthy, cracked, battered, wet pots. When I asked if there was in damaged ones, they told me there wasn’t anymore (the website stated there were 4 more). Asked if the could discount because they were damaged, the manager didn’t even bother to view the damage, and just said she’d knock off £3 over the phone (the pots were £80). Really sloppy management, poor quality checking and severe lack of customer service skills.

It would really save your customers time if you made it clear that you don't list all the paint colours in your "easy look-up" charts, but only the colours which you have in stock. I was given a vague explanation of where to find the code on my car. I would have appreciated not going backwards and forwards from car to store looking for non-existent code. If I'd had a little help I would have just bought the nearest colour (as the chip isn't very visible). I really want to support in-person shopping, but when customer service is lacking (there appeared to be plenty of staff available), it just pushes people like me online.

darren white: Had a new battery fitred today on my classic 1966 Humber Scepter. It turned out to be not a straight forward job as the battery clamp had to be adjusted to hold the new battery. But the two lads who fitted it for me went above and beyond to find a solution. So thank you to Josh and Jack. You provided an amazing service and Halfords are lucky to have you.

Thankfully the Riverside store is excellent and supplied and fitted my items.Now waiting for my refund from the original order from this store.My advice, head to Riverside instead!

David Ross: Very poor customer service experience (Sunday afternoon), I was over overcharged and spotted it walking out of the store.Told the supervisor who hardly acknowledged me and went and checked, ripped the label off the shelf and handed it to me and said bring it to the cash register and they would refund, no apology!. Had to then stand in a large line again. Then got to the till and was refunded but again no apology. To spark one just before I left I said "I'm really sorry about that" and the person on the till said "don't worry about it" lol !!! Clueless customer service training and lack of common sense and basic manners

Evan Lane: Was pretty good a few years ago but the stock is low all the time now and there is no verity any more. If you've not been before then it's a good cheap shop that you can been some great bits up. From home deco to tool but one you've been a few time you relise the stock doesn't change much.

Michal Spišiak: This is about the employee who works by the self checkout. The scanner I used was minging. I asked if they had a hand gel I can use. He said no, policy changed and you need to bring your own. (probably meaning Covid is over) But what about basic hygiene? Do you ever clean those scanners?
