Northampton Bedroom Company was founded by and still owned by Peter Reeve, a cabinet maker, who in total has nearly 40 years’ experience in the fitted bedroom industry. After spending his early working life learning the trade, as a young man Peter decided to create his own company. In 1985 Northampton Bedroom Company was started and has been designing, manufacturing and installing quality fitted bedrooms and home studies ever since.

Over the years we have built our business on our customer’s recommendations. In fact we have on many occasions, fitted bedrooms for several generations of a single family and there are some streets in Northamptonshire where virtually every household is a customer of ours, which is a true testament to our standards of workmanship and service.

So what’s our secret? We produce genuine, bespoke, made-to-measure bedroom furniture and home studies, delivered on time and fitted right, first time, every time. But at a price you can afford.

For us no job is too large or too small or too complicated! We do them all! And the best news? Because we are a small, efficient, well-run family firm, you get great service - an excellent finished result delivered on time but at a sensible price! We cut out the middleman and keep our overheads to a minimum and our prices reflect this. No salesman’s commission or costly advertising for us. With most of our business coming from recommendation or previous customers, we don’t need to advertise in local papers or the radio. Our aim is and always has been 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the time.

Using his almost 40 years’ experience in the fitted bedroom industry, Peter will design the perfect bedroom for you. He will visit you with photographs of many previous jobs plus actual samples of all the finishes and handles for you to choose from. He will advise you on current styles, colours, designs and trends within the industry. A drawing will be produced and the project will be priced. This initial visit is free of charge.

Once you have ordered from us and paid your deposit, the price is fixed and then we really start our work. Cutting lists are produced, material requirements are established and all the different components, such as handles and the timber and other materials are ordered from our suppliers and once everything is delivered to our workshops, we start the manufacturing process for your individual bedroom or study. Everything is cut exactly to size on our panel saw and then it goes on to our benches for manufacture. Everything is produced in-house.
