Seri Al-Najjar: Just visited for the first time today and will definitely be returning.Unfortunately they were out of the special that I saw on their socials (Brie, Bacon & Cranberry), so instead I opted for Bacon, Sausage & Egg.The bread was lightly toasted and delicious (a mixture of brioche and sourdough which they make in house), and the quality of the other ingredients was top notch.Friendly and welcoming service too, which didn't feel forced.Totally recommend.Parking: On street parking, but didn't look like finding a space would be a problem.

Joanne Burden: Have been using this little bakery for years (support your local and independents!), cannot fault for quality and service! All the staff are friendly, and you are given exactly what you ask for - fresh, yummy goodies. Sandwich fillings are generous and I believe to be great value for money! The range of products offered in this little shop is great too - from fresh bread, hot bacon butties, freshly made sandwiches, scrummy cakes and treats, to cans of cold drinks and chocolate bars. Will have no qualms in recommending this great little bakery to anyone!!

Christopher McHale: The Duston Village Bakery sits in the heart of Old Duston, serving it's community and the surrounding areas with sweet baked treats, hot food and cakes.The Bakery is run by Jenni, a very kind and friendly woman with years of experience in baking and hospitality.The reception when you enter is always warm, friendly and welcoming - even when it's busy.A range of freshly baked cakes, biscuits and bread greets you as you enter through the front door, as well as a selection of hot baked foods including the Duston Pasty, which if asked about Jenni will happily tell you is made up of chopped up locals and is definitely not a local version of the classic Cornish Pasty.Attached to the bakery is a cozy cafe seating area with table service, allowing you to enjoy any of the goods the bakery provides in an almost home style dining experience. Katherine Gardiner: This star is given for the very well made baked goods. However, the customer service is absolutely appalling. I have been a regular customer of this bakery for years, yet the staff now are incredibly rude. I came in today and had spent a lot of money on cakes for family and friends, I thought I had picked up all my cakes on my way out of the bakery, and was very abruptly reminded that I had left some behind. She then rolled her eyes at me. Friendly staff would do this little bakery huge justice. Remember that kindness and a simple smile doesn't cost a thing.

Sadie Woodcock: I have purchased one cheesecake and a chocolate mousse piled with profiteroles for special occasions. And a birthday cake more recently, I would highly recommend all of them. They were all received very well and tasted delicious. Another cheesecake purchase coming up in February.
Graham Braithwaite: This is an amazing place for anyone who loves cakes!The Pudding Parlour is located in the village of Yardley Hastings just off the A428 between Northampton and Bedford. It is usually quite easy to park outside and you will always be greeted warmly. No-one makes a better Victoria Sponge than Denise, but there are so many other cakes and brownies too which are all amazing quality. If you want a special dessert for a party or special occasion then there is plenty of choice from the freezers. There is a lovely Illy coffee machine (which kept me sane through the pandemic) and you can also get a generous packed lunch too. The shop is open from Wednesday to Saturday.It is my favourite cake shop - and I've tried a lot!!

Yvonne Lea: Our cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. So light, fresh, not too sweet and high quality ingredients. Brilliant service at the shop too helping me to decide what type of design to choose from so many. 5 stars from us! The 20 portions disappeared in minutes 😋

Makaveli XX7: This is an honest review from a father who went to get a cake for his son. The day before my son's birthday I went to the store and chose a cake from the display section, I asked the cashier multiple times if the cake that I took would be fresh, the cashier replied yes. As you can see in the photos the cake that I got was the same one as the one that was in the display section the day when I made the order!! i advise to all people not to order cakes from this shop because they don't just lie to the customers but also make bad cakes
