St Andrew's Healthcare: what do users think?
Charlie Morrow: Me nana made a wee break for it found er prosthetic leg in da welly road traffic light I have no sign of er but mebe it’s for the best as she had a very dodgy bowel problem it appears the overweight desk lady cannot catch me nana hoping out the fire exit totally embarrassing
Shar Wis: Unempathetic & impatient to student workers who they simply dash aside with cruel rudeness, not considering the effect of this treatment on the students own mental health & well-being.
Daniel Johnson: I have autism and anxiety and 5 years ago I was going through a rough time and I had uncontrollable anger out bursts and I ended up get admitted to Fitzroy house st Andrews Northampton I got all the help I needed and since I got discharged I have felt so much better in myself and in some ways I'm kind of glad I got admitted there because if i didn't i would still be the same as I was before so I'm grateful for how they helped me with all my problems
Peach Peach: Diabolical. No help for staff and no chance to progress unless the face fits. Not accessible or inclusive. St Andrew is rife with poor management, bullies and inadequate training. The complaints procedure is poor and nothing gets resolved. Overall, an awful, unsafe, understaffed place to work. Avoid working here.
Yolanda Bangura: Matthew was very well looked after by all involved in my sons care for the 8yrs he spent there
Kenneth Lund: Anyone I’ve ever spoken to about St Andrews just SHUDDERS!! This includes Patients, Family members, Staff and Social Workers. St Andrews is something out of a horror film.
whizz kidd: Looks like some current staff have been told to spam the negative comments lol.industrialisation of care to the core. Clocking in and out as though you are caring for a product. Lovley grounds though so great if a patient cant have public leave. Wards vary a lot with the same salary for those who relaxing with patients doing joyfull activities and those who are left restraining in dangerous situations regulary. Most staff are freindly and patients are looked after well although i do think they take on more then they can chew just for the money aspect
Philip Howard: A truly amazing place and a incredibly interesting organization, working at St Andrew's healthcare is an enjoyable and educational experience, they also have very beautiful hospital grounds.
Helen Anthony: Been working here a long time now and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. Of course it's challenging but I don't want to work somewhere that doesn't challenge and improve me every working day. And the vast majority of people here are amazing and supportive colleagues who want to do the very best for the people we care for.
Michelle Phillimore: Worst move I made .Worked here a year now suffer from anxiety because of how treated on my ward as a HCA..
Danny Harris: Worked there for just over 2 months. In that time was off sick. Signed by the doctor and had notes to cover me for statutory pay. My manager took me off this and marked me as unpaid leave, leaving with me with no money. When questioned it took 11 days to get any money in my account. Payroll only answer emails when it suits and the whole thing was just a mess. Not to mention I was put on the unit within a couple of hours of starting. When asking around apparently some people get an hour training on unit and others get a week or 2. The company already has a bad reputation in Northampton and they really don’t help themselves. Will not be going anywhere near St. Andrews for employment again. Rather be on less money than have the uncertainty of not being paid. Especially with a young baby to look after.
Lisa Bowers: 6 months & 1 day exactly I've been working at St. Andrew's.Since day one I've felt supported by all members of staff & it's fantastic knowing I can get the support when I need it.Knowing I'm making a difference in somebody's life whether it's a big thing or something mundane keeps me going.. the only thing I don't like is my 5am alarm 😁
Jason riley: Excellent place to work and every person is a dedicated professional.
Sophie Gathercole: Essentially St Andrews saved my life. Yes it had its negative points but on the whole it was a positive experience. I learnt how to manage my emotions and I really progressed here. I went to workbridge and got experience of working again and I was supported by a whole team of people. The OTs were amazing and some of the HCAs were incredible. My therapist though, I could not rate her high enough!! She is honestly the most wonderful lady I have ever met and she saved me life, she knew me so well and knew what to say when I was down, I cannot credit her enough. There is lots of negative things I could say, mainly around the hospitals view of sectioning and taking sections off and their lack of physical healthcare but I want to focus on the positives. This place got me through the hardest time in my life and has truly given me back a life worth living.Thank you St Andrew's!!
Tessa Yates: Very proud to be working at St Andrews, lots of opportunities for staff progression and development. Working with amazing people who have a real care and commitment, and are making a difference.
Sadie Harris: I have worked at St Andrew's for over 6 years now and have loved every minute of it. From being supported with my career development and progressing into 4 different roles to interacting with our patients and seeing the real different we as staff make to their lives on a daily basis.
Victoria Tipler: I've worked at St Andrew's for over 4 years, and every day I'm inspired by the passion, courage and selflessness of the St Andrew's team. Our jobs are not always easy, but a little progress each day, makes a real difference to the people we care for.
Liz Jackson: As an employee here for c 10 years it is genuinely the most inspiring and challenging place I've ever worked. There are always things any employer can improve and St Andrews is no different but under the current leadership I think it has a great future.
Thomas Openshaw: Ill be very relieved when St Andrew's Healthcare is placed under special measures!
Jo: Great place to work. Lots of development opportunities with staff feeling included in decision making. I also think it's great that patients get the opportunity to take part in recruitment panels, so they're involved in deciding about their future care.
CHRISTINE MASON: absolutely atrocious treatment. I was sectioned some years ago but never knew why. I grew up in a physically and verbally abusive family who were the people who had me sectioned. Never spoken to like an adult (I was 24) force fed all sorts of chemicals. All they want to do is play happy families for everyone else's sake except mine. Trashed my life, lost my flat, my company and to this day 29 years later, they STILL won't leave me alone. Totally rubbish.. No help required, none received

Campbell House: what do users think?
Phill Evans: Very aggravated by how badly they have been treating my partner she is really struggling without her medication and Campbell house are the only ones who can help yet they have point blank refused stay away from them as best as you can they will not help you they only care about there paychecks
Kaylee Huntington: I would give this place zero stars if possible. They are entirely unprofessional and don't deserve to have a medical license. My friend went in for an assessment today and all of their mental health problems were completely disregarded. They were told they're not actually depressed and that their symptoms of schizophrenia were "normal." They were also told that they didn't have the illness because they completed exams in school. My friend was told they're just introvert and to go ask other people if they hear things because it's so "normal." They were also told that things aren't bad for them because at least they're not homeless or in the army. My friend left the place feeling way worse than how they were prior to going. I recommend finding a different service if you're looking for a place for mental health help and assessments.
Tommy Bowie: Very unprofessional, My partner has been waiting weeks after being assessed. Finally we got an appointment 3 weeks ago for today, I booked the day off so I could take her and support her.Today at 10:30, she receives a call saying her appointment in 30- minutes has been cancelled. now moved to a day I cannot take her and ruined her whole day today!Disgusting treatment especially when my partner is struggling a lot with everything going on.If you can avoid Campbell house then I would 100% recommend doing so.
hhgfddtygdf Blundell: My son has been left without medication for 3mths now. His meds were being changed, he came off old meds & has had nothing. He has rang numerous times a day for weeks, no return of calls!! My granddaughter had to stay with me through school holidays because of the state my son is in. They are supposed to help people with mental illness not cause it.
Lu C: I would rather be forcefed large chunks of broken, splintered glass than ever have go back to this place. A solid no from me
M. j. Clarke: Total waste of time. They actually make people more mentally unstable. What’s the point?
Krisztina Nagy: I’m a long term patient in Campbell House, since 2008. My CPNs in the past were great — some better than others, but that’s normal. The depot team is generally amazing. Since they have the appointment system I don’t have to wait much. Originally I didn’t like the idea, but looks like it really works.I hadn’t spoke to a psychiatrist for a long time, but I don’t need to, as I take my medication and go for my weekly injection consistently and have very few side effects. My hospitalisation all the way through my 20’s was a result of not cooperating with the treatment. My mental health got worse as a result. Now I’m feeling happy and healthy. They found the right treatment for sure.
sarah celebrations cakes: Causing my family nothing but stress when already in a stressful situation ,I try to step back and let them do there job Instead I'm having to run round getting an emergancy prescription at 8pm during my working hrs to stop my daughter being erratic through the night because they decided to go home before making sure she had medication . Yet tell her to make sure she takes it . I'm fuming !
mel brown: Im not Impressed with Campbell House at the moment. My 20 year old son was diagnosed with adhd at the start of last mth and he still not been started on meds. Iv phoned 4 times in the past 2 weeks and been told every time that someone will phone within 48 hrs. Its a joke . They tell people to get help with mental health and that but when u do they mess u around. The system has let my son down for to long now
Funkzta: Do not use if you value your mental health, they'll make you worse. Had an appointment, didn't even see a real Dr, just a woman who took notes while looking at me like I was something stuck on her boot. Called a week later and was offered a choice of 2 different anti depressants. Didn't ever see a Dr, fobbed off.Use changing minds as they're so much better and really care. I'm lucky as I've managed to secure a psychiatrist since after begging my Dr for one and even better, he's doing it Pro Bono and it's changed my life. This place doesn't even deserve one star and needs a massive management and staff overhaul.
Dr segar666 Dr segar666: thev'e definelty took all the money out of mental health services so thers no point expecting very much, troubling times.and remember alot of these people who work there dont really care anymore so be careful and look after yourself
Cameron Green: Absolutely awful! Been on their system for 2 years and still haven’t received any treatment or medication. Appointments can take up 6 months, and then after one appointment you’ll find out your doctor has left the service! you then have to start the whole process again with a new staff member who will eventually leave.Impossible to get hold of on the phone, will ask to speak to the doctor assigned to my case, only to have the phone call transferred and ring out, without a voicemail! How can you possibly contact the doctors and nurses who are apparently looking after your case!Even if you do manage to contact staff you are told “Okay they will call you back”. Reality check, they won’t, I have been waiting weeks for a phone call, I call the service every week and receive the same response “Okay they will call you” and they never do.Shocking, if I could give 0 stars I would. You’d be better without them.
Anamaria Lungu: My friend had 5 overdoses in one month, 3 of them while under the crisis team care being admitted to the Warren house and to Kettering hospital. During this time she had some other self harming episodes and nervous breakdowns... lots of nights without being able to sleep and so on.After the last overdose ,whiting just one day she has been discharged, without not much information about her health. My friend she still won’t know what is her diagnosis. They somehow managed to make my friend to think she did all that just to don’t be discharged from the Kettering mental health hospital. She has been asked directly if she took the overdose of 70 pills to avoid to be discharged. Next day after a day spent at AAE she was discharged from Kettering mental health Hospital. Now after a month since we requested they professional help, my friend is exactly were she was with stronger feelings of frustration... Some severe anxiety episodes as she was not emotionally ready to be treated as she has been. All I can say is that I am completely disappointed. All that money of the NHS for staff training and all the other expenses are not well used.Very unprofessional attitude and disrespectful staff in general. Only one lady was dealing with my friend in a loving , respectful and caring way.Is a shame as the number of Suicidal person is increased dramatically but the help and support provided is so incomplete and unprofessional...
Do Mas: Spoke to Doctor Sam, had very good experience, will see later on... :)
Shin Baines: John Burke Always looked after me and got me off the forced injections, and got me the therapy to unlock my arm. He visited me at my home or I went to sudborough house in Kettering to see him. A great man and a great consultant and honest.
Celine Saxton: I handed the completed adhd forms while on the premisis at the end of my appointment. Then they sent me a letter saying i hadnt returned them even though i have a witness and its on cctv me completing them and handing them in . So they have lost all my forms which can identify me with all my personal details on. Rather worrying! Complaint has gone in! Zero stars !
Egg Sherbet: Moronic service. Receptionist couldn't even hear me out on what I needed just claimed he he was incapable and put the phone down. Not very helpful.
Eloise Marshall: After seeing Beth I feel my life has changed for the better.
Sophie D: It took months for me to finally see someone, after moths of being passed from person to person. Complains were made due to the behaviour of a certain member of staff being extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, I was then quickly discharged after that with no help from anyone. I was left on my own in a very vulnerable state.
Alison Johnson: I used Campbell house but originally was at Daventry mental health team at the hospital. Daventry mental support were fantastic, excellent facilities and help. Due to problems getting to Daventry I was seen by the same lady at Campbell house which was brilliant. Think it was good for me because I had the same lady.
James Ryder: I have moved on.

Patrick Mac Sweeney: No complaint about the hospital per se, or the care given to my brother, but Tompkins - they advertise a cooked breakfast (all day breakfast) - appears microwaved - and served in a cardboard box, with flimsy plastic cutlery. Absolutely shocking!

Berrywood Hospital: what do users think?
Zombies: worst experience of my life staying here
Daniel Johnson: I was a patient here, mental health services are under so much pressure and all they get is negativity in the press. All I can say is this place saved my life and more importantly my sanity. NHS forever.
Andy Stott: Everyone working at the hospital, showed amazing professionalism and care of my mother was exceptional.
Tracey Davis: not very caring at all,no respect.
Dr segar666 Dr segar666: all im going to say is these places are indiffernet my experineces have led me to beileve thats its all slighlty dodgy . however some good stuff can happen but its all chance. at the end of the day Suzie its not good dont go there if you can serious.!
Janee: My sister is there her hands are all bruised because of how they mistreat the patients there. I hope this place burns down 😒
bobdanbh: Excellent, caring staff. Best I have come across. Very professional.
Christopher Tustain: Nice to meet Adrian mole there haha
Richard Chandler: Easy place to find when using google maps
Sam Field: Staff are rude, patients will stress you out, food is RUBBISH and your IQ will drop massively after you get out of there...
Odja Elisabeth: I would like job in hospital mantai. health Northampton
Jyoti Bidhuri: Super Occupational therapy services, supportive and inclusive approach for all mental health patients
jo brotchie: In for 9 days recently discharged to community care. Some staff care, some do not and are deeply unprofessional.Food is good and new ward matron was very good and took my complaints seriously and is looking into them and will liase again with me.Occupational therapy staff were fantastic but more activities are needed over the weekend.Medical staff good but always room for improvement. They did listen.Hope that you are never admitted to this place. On a previous admission i was assaulted by 2 night staff. I could have sued or gone to the press but did not. Patients tend to be kept in much longer than appropriate, leading to a worsening of their mental state. This needs to be looked into by management. I have also experienced inappropriate sectioning which was deeply upsetting. I was voluntarily admitted and when sectioned against my will i was taking prescribed meds and complying fully with care provided. I was def not a risk to myself or others. I was not at all suicidal. Also, they managed to lose my house keys which turned up days after my discharge. I had to get help to break in to my own home. Belatedly the ward matron offered to reimburse my costs of £90.
Julie H: As a relative of a patient, I was left with a positive impression during visits over several weeks. Staff were patient, professional and willing to discuss issues. My relative was satisfied with his care, and with follow-up after discharge.
Marlene Packwood: Worked there briefly for 3 weeks last year. Spoke to a neighbour recently who's husband has been in there. They lost all his clothes. She managed to find them and also found out that his watch,& wallet had disappeared. Later she found his clothes all washed but behind a locked door where he couldn't get at them. The patients have nothing to do all day and are rarely engaged in any activities by the staff. The place is spotlessly clean but this is a front for the poot care and attention the patients receive. This is a mental health hospital and seems to be like a rudderless ship. It is not directed at all. Perhaps there is no one in overall charge. Luckily her husband is out of there soon.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services: what do users think?
Coco Lea: Seems as though they like to waste money. Imagine my son had his test for ADHD a year later we still have no results for the outcome of the test. I was told they would be in touch in regards to the results. Plus the second part of the test would need to be done which was autism. Which we still haven’t heard anything about. Now we have moved house and I call to say so but all you get is a answer phone and told that they will not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour via answer phone how can you give disrespect if you can’t even get an answer pick up by a human being make it make sense. The whole system is a joke. Then when there is no help being provided your son gets labelled as a rude disrespectful child and the colour of his skin doesn’t help we all know how you like to label little black boys.
Nick Kenway: Truly awful, zero f’s given
Shaun Shields: They do nothing to help and have no care for their patients, even 1 star is too much as the ppl there don't actually care and dropped me recently even tho I was reaching out for help almost once a week, proves how useless and uncaring they are
Car Lilly: Utterly useless, do not respond to emails at all. 4 month wait for intial assessment have no corresponded with the school. If you are in mental health crisis do not rely on CAMHS. I would.give no stars of i could. Have been of no benefit to my daughter at all.
Millie Rose: They had no respect for me as a patient and triggered an anxiety attack because of how they, with my parents, ganged up on me by reading my diary (which my mother had found in my room and sent them pictures from) aloud after they asked if it was okay and I said no (considering i was in there for eating disorder treatment primarily and they were supposedly professionals in the department, you'd think they might understand and respect my need for control in that regard). Then they wouldn't let me out of the building (my parents also tried to block my way out as per their request) and then blamed me for disturbing other patients whilst I was screaming and having one of the worst panic attacks in my life. My therapist from another team I have because I have a different physical disability had to climb through a window to get me, let me out of the building, and sat with me outside. She was a psychologist (not psychiatrist like they were) and did not specialise in ED's, she usually helped ppl with their mental health in regards to their physical disabilities, and I rarely opened up to her, but she was 10x more respectful and competent in this situation than anyone else. My parents I don't necessarily blame because they are not professionals and had no idea on how to deal with the situation and were just basing their actions off of professional advice. They wrote a letter of apology, I haven't been to therapy since, it's been 4 years. They caused more problems than they attempted to fix. Also, another time I'd been referred to a psychiatrist for my depression and anxiety and the doctor ignored me and talked to my dad the whole time as I stared out the window, then told me she wouldn't offer me anti anxiety meds because she ASSUMED I wouldn't take them because I declined the anti depressants (for fear of gaining weight because of the ED she KNEW I had) which made me feel so invalidated so I haven't asked for the meds since. They are a terrible organisation and traymatise their patients. I've rarely heard any good about them, they cause more harm than they fix and the best thing for everyone would be for them to be shut down and have the NHS set up a new mental health specialising clinic with better and more educated and empathetic psychiatrists and specialists who respect the patient.
Ali Purple: Mixed experience with CAMHS but pleasantly surprised at recent referral, acceptance and so far....understanding professionals. Well done for stepping up in the light of the Covid pandemic which has brought a MH epidemic in its wake. Thank you to Paediatrician and the CAMHS consultation line, which is excellent.
J ROB: CAHMS is amazing. They have helped me for the past few months, as a almost 13 year old boy, I have MADD. (mixed anxiety and depression disorder) they were so helpful finding my diagnosis it's not nice having anxiety and depression and it's hard not to be tempted to harm myself but there helping me so thanks A LOT James and Dr kahn are really helpful. Josh
Dan Stubbs: CAMHS needs to improve on their ability to compromise with their patient's family. Family are around their children 24/7 and know what they're struggling from, so they may have a good idea on what treatment may benefit their child based on their unique emotional needs.I feel CAMHS spends far too much time working through the textbooks, instead of seeing their patients as individuals. One size never fits all, when it comes to mental health. It may work this way for physical ailments, but CAMHS needs to look into that person's environment, how their environment affects them, and recognise that depression/anxiety can be symptoms of a main issue. Not always chemical imbalance. This is what would've helped me, when CAMHS failed to recognise my childhood trauma while under their services. I was under their service from 2012, and not once was my C-PTSD picked up on.CAMHS needs to stop dishing out medication, and allow patients the choice between medication or therapy. Whereas a patient like me didn't have a choice, and was instead given the impression that medication was the only thing that could cure me.I would've benefitted more from specialised trauma therapy, instead of being medicated.4 years I was under their service, and even now I'm still scared of leaving the house, have no proper independence, deal with flashbacks and intense dissociation - which means CAMHS didn't do what they should have done, help.CAMHS needs to allow patients to explore diagnosis and rule them out. Just because a child hasn't finished growing, doesn't mean they can't have PTSD or schizophrenia. It would be good to explore diagnosis, instead of deny that your child is struggling. This way, once ruled out, CAMHS and yourself can move forwards.CAMHS needs to understand autism better, as some issues such as eating disorders can be related to sensory issues in autism.CAMHS needs to realise that children don't just "grow out of mental illness", and can turn into mentally ill adults which require more support.CAMHS needs to understand that CBT and breathing exercises can't magically cure mental illness, either. And to allow patients to express when some treatments don't provide any benefit.Complex mental health needs must be better understood. Parents aren't always at fault.
L Walker: One star is far to generous for this 'service'! Having had 4 referrals made to this place for my 9 year old over 5 years and each one refused without explanation, I struggle to understand what the actual point of this place is. How they can make decisions on a child without seeing them is beyond me. Absolute disgrace.
Jessi Knight: they don’t listen
Mark Hutchcraft: Cannot fault their early support-. Thank you. Chantelle is outstanding and incredibly supportive-i know we are not the only ones to feel this way about her.
Celine Saxton: Over two months ago they said they were going to send me a document in the post. Still waiting for it. Also waiting for them to return my call. Shockingly appalling service! Do not recommend!
samantha zoe mead: Both my boys were under them for many years they were more than helpfule till we moved but still haven’t sent there files on so now my youngest is stuck in limbo
KT: Awful. No people skills. Terrible reception everytime. No consistency. No introduction.
Zayb: Very helpful.
Alex Barron: Just a constant mess about and let down. Really what you need when you’re in a fragile state of mind,
Kim Hutchcraft: If we as a family could give CAMHS 10 stars then we would. They have bent over backwards in every respect to help us,no one can wave a magic wand or do as we all wish but they do their very best and more with what they have. We have come across some astonishing people.
Caroline Byrne: AWFUL - Messed my daughter about no end. No consistency in consultants/Doctors. Constant cancellation of appointments with no follow ups. No matter how much I called, they couldn't get her in any quicker. She went to GP and got CBT and then to her Uni to the Pastoral Care and they both recommended going back to GP. The GP made one phone call and Adult services rang and promised they would be on top of it. That was April. Nothing since, calls and another visit to the GP to escalate and still nothing. I am going to take a second job to pay for private help. There is no other option.
Ariel Blue: They treat me awfully it's disgusting
