At Wanafly Airsports we provide training on Flexwing or Fixedwing microlights. Your National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL) for microlights can be achieved with Wanafly Airsports. We follow the syllabus and training process produced by the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA) and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)

A microlight is a lightweight aircraft capable of carrying no more than two people. There are two types of microlight; one, which looks like a conventional plane, called a fixed wing or three-axis microlight and the other type, which looks like a hang-glider over a trike and is called a flexwing or weightshift machine. At Wanafly Airsports we give air experience flights and training on both types of aircraft. Microlights are great fun to fly and are more affordable than other types of powered flight both for learning to fly and owning an aircraft.
Microlighting is the safest form of sport aviation in the UK and high standards are ensured by strict regulations laid down by our association, the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA), who are accountable to the CAA. Dean Campbell: Went up in a fixed wing microlight with Dave, which was a birthday present. As an experienced instructor, Dave was able to explain the procedures and requirements involved for flying microlights and was also an excellent tour guide! He also went the extra mile(s) by flying over my home town. All in all, a fantastic experience. Definitely recommended.
