Retro_hub166: Went there with my other half for a meal and unfortunately it wasn't the best. Chips was very over cooked loads of mayo in bun. Just wasn't great. The waitress was helpful. I would come again but this is the second time food has been a let down 😔
mick turner: We visited today for my Birthday lunch and was very disappointed, we ordered in the app at noon, starters came by 12.10 then had to wait till 1pm for mains, when they came they looked like they had been stranded for ages and were very disappointing, we complained and were offered sone cake to take home, I think these were taken from the good to go box as had todays date on them and tasted stale, don’t think we will be visiting again

Tasha Alibone: Really friendly staff, loads of options on the menu, and very good prices. The carvery looked amazing too, although we didn't get it, but that was super reasonable for prices. There's a lovely little kids corner too with some bits to keep them entertained, and a microwave for heating bottles - albeit not supposed to use microwave for bottles, but they can't give out hot water for health and safety reasons :(

Andrew S: We attended the open mic event held in the barn today. A good event with increasing support from local musicians. The new heating and insulation to the barn was most welcome and what a lovely shop and cafe which was toasty and warm with a good selection of food and drink. Parking was good and it was nice to browse through the shop and local craft stalls etc. A lovely facility right on our doorstep.

Paul Stone: An awesome place for a reception! They think of every detail you may need, from flip flops in case your dancing shoes get uncomfortable, to complementary blankets if you get cold. The staff were outstanding! The place was very clean and well organized. Overall a fantastic place to rent for any function!

Harry and his staff worked tremendously hard to give us the best experience possible and they delivered! All of our guests loved the venue and the food! We have had tons of compliments on the beautiful wedding, and venue & food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.We had Sarah look after us on the run up to the day. She answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease. We had multiple meetings beforehand and a taster evening where we met other couples and got to try the caterers the gorgeous food!

James Reeves: This was a very tasteful venue with 18th century buildings restored to the modern era. Came here for a wedding reception in the evening and it didn’t disappoint.Lovely greenery, views of the countryside, the buildings of course and the outside bar is cheap with a lot of choice.Can’t say much more than that. No complaints at all. Another fantastic place to get married at.

After much research and many differing visits we settled on The Barns at Hunsbury Hill. The Venue is delightfully spacious yet intimate in its personalisation in all that they had planned for our day. The staff were fantastic, they were attentive but never noticeable and couldn't do enough for us on the day. Special thanks to Harry and his team, you made the day so wonderful for everyone, from the ceremony until we left 12 hours later it felt absolutely seamless.If you're looking for somewhere for your next celebration look no further than The Barns, you will be delighted.Thanks again guys, we look forward to seeing you again on our next family occasion

Paige Mandy Louise McFadzean: Would highly recommend booking for parties etc. Really easy to book, I personally dealt with Mo, who was so lovely and friendly. The space provided is perfect. We held my daughters 5th birthday here and everyone kept saying how lovely the new refurbished room was. Will defo be booking again soon.

Jasmin Truong: We got married at Dodford Manor in April 2023. Lauren was absolutely amazing on the day - thank you so much. Every time we emailed or called up with a question over the last 18 months while planning our wedding, the whole Dodford Manor team have been so kind and helpful.Drop-off before the wedding was so easy, and the pre-wedding meeting with Lydia was fantastic and made us so excited for the wedding day. Lydia was so friendly and really made us feel at ease about the big planning document!And then the big day itself… We can’t quite believe how smoothly the whole wedding day went, and we absolutely loved every moment of it. The venue itself looked stunning in the April sunshine, and the rain luckily did hold off for most of the day! Our photographer found some great spots around the venue and grounds for us to have photographs.We would recommend this wedding venue to everyone!
Kayleigh Quinn: Where do we begin with describing how amazing the venue was for our wedding day? It’s fair to say it was love at first sight for us both when we went to view Dodford Manor. It’s kept immaculately regardless of what is happening. The staff were always attentive to our every need and request, always responding the same day and more than happy to answer any questions. Abbie, our event manager always kept us up to date with proceedings, and made sure everything was in hand for our perfect day. Abbie played a massive part in ensuring our day ran smoothly, always working hard in the background to make sure the next part of the day was ready and ran smoothly. Could not recommend this place highly enough.

Melissa Noades: My partner and i got married here last December and we couldn't recommend it enough. This venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to make your day runs as smoothly as possible. They are quick to respond to emails and no query is too much trouble, regardless of who answers it. In addition to making sure the rooms were laid out and decorations were where we wanted them, we also told them we were having trouble getting a comfirmation regarding our registrar and they even chased them up for us. They also provide a list of approved vendors where we found our DJ Terry of Smooth Move Events, who also deserves a mention- a lovely guy, who played all of our song choices (regardless of how questionable) and really made our party one to remember.Lydia was really sweet and ensured all of the guests were comfortable and the caterers were very attenative to my dad during the wedding breakfast who was suffering with health issues at the time.The layout is also really convenient for all, with ample parking and we really enjoyed having the place to ourselves.If you want a venue with beautiful veiws, a cosy rustic interior and staff who take all your worries away then Dodford Manor should be top of your 'to view' list.

She went above and beyond in so many ways and we’re forever grateful to her.From the immaculate barns, to the delicious catering and most importantly, the incredible staff - we cannot recommend this venue more highly! We had high expectations and Dodford exceeded them all; our wedding day really was the happiest day of our lives. Thanks to everyone at Dodford who helped make our day so special!
Kilroy Films: Not only was I acting in a professional capacity as wedding videographer, but as a personal friend of the couple I was also a guest, so I got to experience this fabulous venue as a supplier and as a guest. What can I say, the place is stunning, the staff cannot do enough to please you, the food was delicious and the grounds are just perfect for photos/video or just taking a relaxing stroll away from the mayhem that can be a wedding :-) The mix of modern with old has been done so tastefully and they have every facility you would ever need. I truly hope to visit again soon in either capacity and would highly, highly recommend Dodford Manor Barn to anyone looking to book a wedding or party.

Hannah Hall Beddoe: The venue that really has it all - I've been lucky enough to photograph over 20 weddings at Dodmoor over the last few years and there is no scenario they're not ready for. Rain? Got a back up plan. People seeing you before you enter the ceremony? There's screens for that. Speeches running late? No dramas there's a plan B. I've shot there in heatwaves, in the rain and the bitterly cold and the team always have it together and run a tight ship and are always willing to accommodate my requests if we need an extra few minutes because something ran late. Every space is gorgeous and the venue really comes into its own at night when the twinkly lights come on. What a dream!I could write a lengthier review about Dodmoor but the TLDR is this; if you're considering booking for your wedding, stop thinking and DO IT, you wont be disappointed.

Tasha Treen: Myself and my husband got married at Dodmoor house December 2022. I found the venue last minute about 4 months prior to the wedding and made my enquiry after seeing they had some last minute wedding dates! They were so accommodating and we got a complete steel with our last minute wedding booking! Throughout the process before the wedding I felt completely at ease about the day and our wedding planner Vicky met us at the venue to show us around and explain how the day could look! We live 2 hours from the venue so booked based on the photos we had seen, and it exceeded all expectations!Before the wedding I had a zoom call with Vicky to go through the finer details and I feel like I’m my nerves were no where near what they would have been without knowing it was all under control!Fast forward to the day of our wedding we had access to the gorgeous honeymoon suite and dodford room to get ready in, I had complete creative control with how my wedding was set up, but Vicky was very willing to help with it all! She set up the ceremony room for me and helped with last minute set up on the tables for our wedding breakfast! The staff were absolutely incredible and I cannot thank them enough! The day went completely as planned, but the team were all prepared for weather changes ect!The attention to detail, the help given from start to finish and the complete ease I felt was all down to Vicky and the team! I would give 100 stars if I could, and recommend this gorgeous venue to everyone!

The venue is stunning and we felt like it was very intimate with our slightly smaller numbers (48day guests and 100 evening guests).The staff were amazing from the very first open evening we attended right up until our wedding day.The communication from the team was brilliant, and once allocated a wedding coordinator (Nadine - who is just the most beautiful person inside and out) it enhanced this even further. We knew at every step what was going to happen and what time each of the specific “moments” ie wedding breakfast, speeches, cutting the cake would be.They also made you feel incredibly special and for that I can’t thank Nadine and the staff at dodmoor enough.I can’t recommend getting married here enough!!!

The venue was beautifully decorated and everyone went out of their way to make sure everything went without a hitch- just as you would wish- from being greeted on arrival to the lovely wedding breakfast.Thank you to ALL the staff involved for making my step-niece's wedding truly a day to remember for all the right reasons.
