Christ Embassy: what do users think?
Sarah G: Great budget hotel. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. This is a dog friendly hotel and they made a fuss of our little furry guest. Would stay here again if in the area.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Mark Collyer: Great stay as always, French onion soup was excellentRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Will T: Says RESTAURANT in the name but it’s more like cheap pub food menu. Reception staff rude and unhelpful. Wouldn’t give a receipt for a coffee. No charge to room possible. £100 parking fine if you enter car park but don’t register car- including if you want to charge your car- beware.
Fozzyuk99 Fozzyuk99: Decent enough and clean
Clara Palma: Limpo, organizado, confortável ambiente amigável staff excelenteRooms: Qyarto espaçoso limpo e quentinho
Christine Lillywhite: The room was large clean and almost comfy. Duvet very thin so it wasn’t cosy. The main issue was that I could clearly hear the rooms either side of me, noise in the corridor echoed when revellers returned to their rooms, and either room 104 has the water tank for the whole floor above it, or my neighbours were running the tap every two minutes all night. I didn’t sleep a wink! Put the drinking business men in 104 and the silver haired old ladies and middle aged women in a quiet room!I have a long way to drive today and am not at all rested. Dreadful dreadful room.Noteworthy details: Don’t stay in room 104!
Em March: The hotel lobby area is quite nice but entering the hotel room was very disappointing. The reception woman was ok but not that welcoming. The Photos on the website must be photoshopped. The room was quite depressing, the brown carpet looks very very old it's in terrible condition, dirty and very thin you can feel the concrete underneath it i never wanted to walk on it with bare feet. The walls that were white were but bordering on grey now in a mess marks all over and needs a paint job. The positives were the bathroom itself was actually modern and quite nice.Only 2 pillows on double bed and they were very very flat so hard to sleep with. Can only give 2 stars as it was a bit of a depressing stay.
Daniel Barnes: DO NOT STAY HERE - OR EVEN PARK HERE!This hotel is FINING people £100 to charge their electric vehicles. The signage to indicate that you need to pay or register to park is almost invisible from the charging bays. This is clearly a money-making enterprise and is preying on the busy people innocently trying to charge Tesla cars and others on site.A disgusting attempt to make more money.Shocking hotel, poor food, poor service, and trying to grab every penny they can by fining people for charging their cars.
Helena Herbert: Had a two night stay here and enjoyed it.Rooms clean and beds comfortable.Friendly staff.Found it a bit strange that restaurant not open at weekend!Would stay again.
Charlie Baker: When we arrived we were told we cannot stay as we had no idea, despite the website not clarifying this. The woman at the desk was rude and impatient and didn’t make us feel welcome.
mike whitehouse: Nearby activities: Local pubRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
A Human: Welcoming & friendly staff, clean. However, extremely noisy throughout the entire night, even though I had specifically requested a QUIET room when booking (and paying). No sleep whatsoever because of: -Uncomfortable and lumpy bed.'Night Sun' street lamp right outside the window that the curtains did very little to dim.Very noisy room, sounded like people were hopping past at all hours during the night.Could hear each and every person that ascended / descended the stairs.Noise of the lift during the whole night.Loud 'click' in the room at 38 minutes past each and every every hour. What sounded like a toilet cistern filling constantly throughout the entire night right next to the bed. That's my first (and absolutely the last) visit to a Camponile hotel. Lesson learned.
Zi -: Awful that they are sending Parking Eye £60 ticket for parking while I charged my Tesla on supercharger network which happen to be installed on their premises.Location: 1/5 …More
mark birch: Was very nice staff where fantastic and full English breakfast in the morning 10/10 and is dog friendly hotel Ideal if you want to break your journey up..like we did ...Rooms: Very clean super comfy bedFood & drinks: Food was excellent
Tony Denton: Went there for a training course. Lunch for the whole team was a big bowl of overcooked chips and a few limp sandwiches. Not impressed.
