Within the first few lessons he made me believe I can drive. The way Alom teaches is spectacular, and the techniques really stuck in my head. Furthermore, everything he taught me, quickly became second nature! Definitely the best driving instructor in town, cannot recommend him enough. Could never have done this without Alom for sure. Shaun Hall: Awfully inappropriate conversation during a lesson. Within ~10 hours of lessons, Dave thought it was a wise idea to comment on the large breasts of a female pedestrian, asking me if I’ve ‘ever had my face in a pair that big’. Plenty of decent instructors around who aren’t spitting such sludge

Sarah B: Instructors working for this school would do well to remember the cars come with indicator stalks. Followed a Citroen c1 throigh Great Doodington and down the Doddington road just now, not once did the driver indicate, even when overtaking parked vehicles on the main road.

Sunil Subhadra Suresh: Have just passed the test in my first attempt with Promotion Driving School in March. I was terrible at coordinating and had no sense of direction and positioning at all. My instructor helped me a lot by adjusting his teaching to what I could easily understand, which saved me a considerable part of struggling time. Michael Nartey: Melvin Meakins is one stop shop driving instructor. He brings your theory lessons into real practice. He is professional, calm and mean real business when it comes to driving. After failing my driving test five times, Melvin brought hope and help me pass my driving test with just 2 minor faults. I have recommended more of my friends/family to him. He is always on time and very patient. The best of him is being able to spot all you need to pass your test with just 30 minutes test drive. Melvin is not interested in your money but making sure your drive safely and more professional. There are times I want to book more lessons but Melvin will tell me Michael you need just one or 2 lessons. Unlike other instructors who will like to make the most out of you.As a government worker, I must say that Melvin is all you need to pass your test one attempt.Melvin is the best of all the instructors I have ever used. Thanks Melvin for helping me to pass my test. I can now take my family to church on every Sundays. Any time I dive my car I always remain thankful to you. God used you as a vessel of honour. 10ny2: I was taught by Melvin over 5 years ago. From my very first lesson Melvin was patient with me although I was quite a nervous drive. Also if I found it hard to understand any of the maneuvers or information whilst drive Melvin would calmly discuss and help me to understand. Even when I got angry or upset with a maneuver he would help to calm me down instead of becoming irritated or impatient. Throughout all of the lessons I had, Melvin would ask me if I had any questions and if I did he would explain the answer clearly. I found for the price of the lessons, I was surprised to be learning a lot and I feel I benefited from each one. Melvin went of his way to help me by asking me if I needed any extra support such as theory books. He supported me through my theory by spending time going through questions with me. When I failed my test first time he was there to support me and helped me pass. Still after five years of driving I still appreciate all that he has taught me. He was enthusiastic with his career and ensures all of his clients enjoy getting through there driving experience. It was a pleasure to be taught by Melvin and from every family member or friend that I have recommended him he has helped all of them pass their tests. Highly recommend!!!

Aydplays_07 W: Well what can I say - Chris at Flexdrive was my third driving instructor, after being messed around by 2 other local companies, and it was clear from the very start how different my experience was going to be, as I learned more in 1 lesson with Chris than I had in the year previous to that!It took a whole year for me to gain enough confidence and the skills needed to sit my test, as Chris does not believe in putting anyone forward for their test who isn't ready. I am disabled which gave me a few restrictions when learning to drive, but Chris was extremely helpful, and we found ways to adapt what I needed to do to help me. This really worked for me as I was a very anxious learner, but Chris was more than patient with me, and went above and beyond to get me to my final test date after rearranging it a couple of times. Right up to the morning of the test I was adamant I wasn't going to pass, and I think I probably shocked Chris as well when I passed first time with only 3 driving faults! I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without him, and there are not enough words to explain how grateful I am. I am now looking forward to gaining further driving experience with him whilst I find my first car! Thank you Chris and Flexdrive - you really have changed my life.
David Topham: I first met Chris Howard from Flexdrive at the end of 2021 when I was looking for a trainer to teach me to become an ADI approved driving instructor. After much research and having read great things about Chris and his business we met for an initial assessment. I think it was fair to say that it was important to us both that we felt at ease with each other. Chris has an extremely thorough and robust training plan in place which he is happy to adjust to fit in with my learning objectives. I am please to say I have passed both my Part 1 & Part 2 tests at the first attempt and I am now working towards taking my final Part 3 test. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris & Flexdrive

Olivia Howes: Learning to drive with Chris was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had; there was never a lesson that I didn't look forward to. For the whole time I was learning Chris was very patient and encouraging, which at times, was just what I needed. His one-on-one teaching skills are wonderful and are exactly what every learner driver needs. Rahul Khule: I failed in my first attempt while I have been driving (outside the UK) for close to 10 years! I used assistance from a family friend to practice which was clearly not enough.Then I took lessons from Wayne who helped me to reset some of my old habits and helped boost my confidence.Wayne is extremely patient; takes his time to ensure he has gone over your rights and wrongs so that you have made note of those for future references. The overall communication about schedule, progress, readiness is great.The mock test and extended session ahead of the test helped me to a great extent; Wayne was kind enough to adjust his schedule and I passed with one minor mistake.I'd certainly recommend, thank you Wayne!

Naj: Highly recommend Ian, learned more in a month with Ian than I did with my previous instructor. Calm and fun to do lessons with and really does teach you if you make mistakes.
