immy baker: I never normally write reviews but this upset me....I ordered a blouse which all went well, but I realised a few days later I wanted to return it. Unfortunately due to mental and physical health issues, I was unable to do so in the short 2 week return window. I reached out 3 days over the return window, and explained my situation and was apologetic, but was addressed bluntly with no empathy.I have not been able to return the blouse. So I'm out of pocket a lot of money which is hard for me as I cannot work, and live with my parents. I explained all of this aswell, and again received blunt replies. I shop a lot as it the only thing to distract me from my severe conditions. I understand their policy and respect the fact my health is not their issue, but I would expect some empathy or at least understanding. I was taken aback by this situation, as it is the first time I've dealt with such hostility.
Kathryn Yarker: What a gem of a boutique in the heart of Northampton! Beautiful collections of clothes and first rate customer service. Really helpful but not pushy. I was so impressed by how they knew what styles and colours would look great on me. One of the lovely assistants brought me down a pair of jeans from upstairs. I tried them on and they were so comfortable, I haven't taken them off! Unheard of when buying jeans normally for me. Highly recommended especially if you want to update your look! Thanks Tracy, Tory and everyone else 🙂

I needed a new top as felt really uncomfortable in what I was wearing and I had the most friendly and supportive visit. I was helped to find tops that suited my size and figure and I can honestly say I was given tops I would never have looked at but when I tried them on they felt and looked amazing!! I am absolutely thrilled with my purchases and left with a few cheeky extra tops too! Thank you so much as I usually feel really uncomfortable in-store shopping as it often leaves me feeling upset and stressed about my figure but I left feeling body confident. Thank you so much!!! ❤️
Carole Kirby: I prefer to shop online and ordered some dresses from this shop. I wanted to return one and realised the shop was only 30 minutes away from me so called to see if they could help me choose something else. The appointment with a stylist was fantastic. They had picked out some wonderful pieces for me to try, gave me plenty of time to choose with no pressure to buy and suggested accessories that worked really well. I would never have chosen the items I bought in the shop on the website, and I was thrilled with my purchases. Their advice was invaluable and I will definitely be returning. The shop is a treasure trove of beautiful pieces and the staff were excellent. Thank you so much. I'd travel hours for service like that and I now know exactly where I'll be shopping for future outfits.

Style, quality and feeling as though you really have bought terrific high end clothing is truly what being a lady should be about. Having one item of fantastic clothing should always outweigh 7 cheap items that you can but anywhere on the high street. If you can't afford the full price, then wait for their enormous sales..either way you can't go wrong and will have beautiful clothes to be cherished forever. Why look like everyone else and support fast fashion, when you have stylish staple wardrobe garments that you can relish forever. Would highly recommend..

When I first visited she talked to me about what I was looking for then made some incredible suggestions, since then I have been absolutely hooked by some of the unique labels that Voni Blu stocks. Beautiful clothing which offer individuality and great value, plus if you are looking for the perfect capsule wardrobe then this is the shop for you. Highly recommended for everyday clothes for something for that special occasion.

I normally shop in store, but in the current lock down situation, this isnt possible. Voni Blu website is well set out and I was able to order with confidence.Yvonne is always so helpful and realised one of tops I ordered needed to be a different size so put the right size in for me.The clothes in Voni Blu are just beautiful and Yvonne always gives 1 2 1 service and knows what suits me. E: The cafe is diabolical - the chilli sausage roll was filling was dried up on the bottom, overly hot spicy and basically not fit for consumption. The small amount I ate made me sick. Will definitely not eat there again!

Apollo XRP: Do not recommend at all!!!!! Extremely disappointed with the lack of service and loyalty. Paid In full for a hire dress just prior to covid. Kept in contact all through covid and they told me voucher would still be valid. Despite the dress my daughter choose being brand new and adjusted to fit her they sold it without giving us first refusal when they re-opened after covid. Went to visit and no new dresses/stock since we went before covid like I was assured so decided to wait until new stock arrived. Phoned today and now gone against their word and refusing to accept my voucher to put towards a new dress. No it’s not their fault but it’s not mine either. surely we would have both been better off it they would accept as willing to put more towards buying a dress. Would def not recommend due to lack of service/ loyalty - spent £150 and got absolutely nothing for it.

Melanie Last: Greeted by two lovely ladies shop full of dresses and accessories. Ladies knew instanly what dresses would suit. Tried on first dress. Loved it. Hired it with a clutch bag. My daughter-in-law also fell in love with first dress and bought it. A must for ballgowns.

We had help in choosing and suggesting what would suit her from a very wide selection of lovely dresses. The ladies were very helpful but not at all pushy and she was able to spend a lot of time trying on the dresses and enjoying the experience. We would definitely recommend Ballgowns for a dress for that special occasion.
Ms S: Extremely rude old stuff couple of staff! Shoving dresses in face that were awful and shaking their heads at each other behind our backs. Place smelled fusty, dresses tatty looking and old fashioned. One member of staff in particular was very snappy and patronising.

I was amazed by the wide selection of dresses available and the variety of accessories.The staff were warm and friendly and they offered me many suggestions as to the best dress for the event. Even though it was very busy today, I felt the service was personal and the staff were extremely helpful to ensure I found the right dress.I look forward to returning to Ballgowns when my dress has been altered, this is included in the price of hire.I would happily recommend Ballgowns to any of my friends.
Elise Taylors: I visited ballgowns a few weeks ago and was very pleased with the service, I didn't have a clue what I was looking for but the ladies were able to find the perfect gown. The pricing was brilliant considering it had to be altered a fair bit but they were more than happy to fix it to me to make sure I will feel completely comfortable on the night. I am now thoroughly looking forward to prom and will definitely visit again if I have any future events.
Frances MacKenzie: I came in last week with my daughter hoping to find the perfect Prom Dress and was not disappointed. The ladies were extremely busy serving lots of other customers, but still found the time to be polite, professional and attentive. They are extremely knowledgable with an understanding of what style of dresses suit what body shape and made every lady they served feel like a Princess. We returned today to have my daughters dress fitted so that it can be altered to perfectly fit her figure,this extra service was included in the hire price and made us feel as though the dress was made exclusively for my daughter's shape. This type of quality service and professionalism is rarely found these days, thank you so much Ladies for your kind attention.

Azaria Mott: Although we eventually found a dress which was very nice we weren't pleased with how impolite some of the staff were. They weren't very helpful and they were extremely rude. The dresses in the shop were nice and organised but were quite pricey and we had to pay for the dress there and then but not even able to take it home on the day meaning another trip to Northampton. Understandably its a business and prom dresses aren't necessarily cheap but they perhaps didn't consider that not everyone can pay that much in bulk. We also weren't able to reserve a dress for a day or even an hour however they were able to quite simply ring up and order the same dress in.In conclusion we thought they were very rude and only cared about business and money!
