It’s only when you get to the till and there is another sign with very small print at the bottom saying doesn’t include white paint. I feel this is at best immoral and at worse dishonest, I shall not be shopping at B&Q ever again

Sean Anderson: On a scale, this is somewhere between Homebase and B&Q. For home DIY there's a very good chance you'll get what you need and of the three big DIY stores, Wickes is probably the cheaper.
Paul Parsons: Good stockof items for both the DIY and Trade customers.You can also order online to pick up in store. Which is very helpful as they send you a text when your item/items are ready for collection

Steve Antipolo: I can't remember the last time I bought anything here. I keep going as a choice for home or DIY but it falls short every time. The lack of trust with customers doesn't make it feel welcoming either. When not buying it would be nicer if that always had a direct flow to the exit. Sometimes it's blocked with stock.For some reason, they've never fixed the toilet, strange for a DIY store!I've IBS, I really need to go when I need to go so I actively avoid places which are not disabled friendly like that

We decided on a beautiful shaker kitchen, which was put together by our kitchen planner, Charlie Harrow. Excellent communication and service skills were given with all the details shown on their autocad design software.

Mr S: Poorly managed branch. I did a click and collect for two garden pots. When I arrived at the branch, they weren’t ready. Waited ages then they brought out these filthy, cracked, battered, wet pots. When I asked if there was in damaged ones, they told me there wasn’t anymore (the website stated there were 4 more). Asked if the could discount because they were damaged, the manager didn’t even bother to view the damage, and just said she’d knock off £3 over the phone (the pots were £80). Really sloppy management, poor quality checking and severe lack of customer service skills.

Hasan Namruti: Emailed this after being let down:Dear Sir/Madam,I am emailing to express my complete disgust as a tradepoint customer at how I have been let down by Tradepoint delivery service.I needed to do a job that required we had flooring delivered on time due to tradesmen on site on the 3rd of Sept, I ordered the flooring well in advance (18th August) for delivery and was given the date as the 2nd Sept.I received a text on the 1st September at 3.16pm to say that it was now being delivered on the 7th September. I called the number on the text to be told that it was still to be delivered on the 2nd and I asked the person on phone to check he said after putting me on hold for 10 mins that the transport company had lots of aborted jobs and drivers had worked too many hours so that Monday it would now be dely date. I was then told I would be compensated with a voucher for £30 and tradepoint say do not book tradesmen until items have arrived!!!!!!!This is 2020 and if you wait from the 18th of August to the 2nd September to be told it will be the 7th that is not acceptable, I have now had to go to my local branch and buy the items again as I was told that it would be easier and only way I would get my flooring. So today I have paid £413.08 twice for my flooring because you as a company are unable to refund or God forbid just let me go and pick up my order myself from the store that had 204 in stock.I have never had a good experience with Tradepoint deliveries, I have had damaged appliances, drivers moaning of the position of the property and now a complete let down.By the way the person at Tradepoint in Northampton who dealt with me when I went to buy my items again started laughing and saying that it was ridiculous that tradesmen could not be on site until items had been ordered and she needed to be told about this as she has never heard of it or her colleagues!!!!!So please , forward my email to your complaints department, refund my £413.08 and sort out your deliveries or I will take my business back to Wickes.

that hurt: Used to shop here a lot but had them rip me off or attempt to twice in one week so never again. The first one I spotted was the shelf advertised on sale discount not coming up on the till. They sorted it but with much kerfuffle. The second one was a bag of compost which had no shelf price but I checked my receipt at home and they had charged me for a fictional 36 litre bag on the barcode not a 33 litre bag that I bought. The 36 litre bag does not exist on their website. They must be raking it in at the head office if not many people spot their dodgy barcodes. It's a handy shop but I won't be ripped off. Their customer service reply was useless. Especially as I can't return a heavy growbag to the shop like a lighter or smaller item. 🙄.

Lynda pinfold: Excellent large general store. Very neat, clean and tidy. Well arranged so generally easy to find what you want, but if you do struggle there is always an assistant around to give friendly aid. Good value for money.

UK Werner: This shop has gone downhill. Long queues at the checkout on a Saturday as only 2 tills open and the self service checkouts are not in operation. The card readers are set up in an awkward position as they still have the Covid screens up. On the plus side I bought a cafetiere which was only £6.

Dandy Mae: Friendly staff, good range of stock They have a bunch of stock locked up to prevent theft so if you want to buy something like that, be pepared to wait a few moments for it to be retrieved for you. Go early in a Saturday to avoid crowds (9.30am was great for me!).
