Tamara Reid: COTTON BALL LEFT IN TOOTHI had gone in to this dentist due to a cracked tooth, they had checked me over and didn't really explain to me properly the options that I had and at what costs it would be at.A decision was made that a root canal treatment was needed and that in the future a crown would need to be fitted.Once they had done the root canal treatment they closed it off with a temp filling called Cavit and given me an injection of some sort to avoid any future infections.It was then after I was informed that the total to save this tooth would cost around 6k which is ridiculous and is not something i could afford.Once the anesthetic had worn off I could not eat on that side for days, the tooth was still bleeding filling and the filling was shaped so that i couldn't even shut my teeth together (I realise this can usually be the case straight after a treatment as such however I had left this 1week and nothing had changed).I could no longer take the pain and decided to go else where for a check up when it was said that their was a cotton ball within the root canal still which had caused periodontitis, a serious disease from infection.Although the staff are very friendly I must warn everyone that 44 derngate dentist are not 100% trustworthy and are after one thing MONEY

Booked appointment through High recommendations from others. The dentist, was friendly, professional and thorough. Took his time to explain dental procedures, and plan for treatment of dental problems. I had complete faith in the dentist professional. I didn't feel forced into anything, we discussed the dental plan together and came to a mutual decision. He was very helpful and polite. The staff couldn't do enough for me. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you x

I had a problem with a tooth,was in pain for 4 days, 30weeks pregnant, called other 3 dentists,and been rejected as they did not want to take me at this term. Called The private dental care, had an emergency appointment straight away, seen by Dr. Chandan... empathy,care and responsibility is all I can tell about him. Had all my pain gone from 2nd visit, and money being paid only for 1 consultation. Felt so blessed I called them.

Enoch Antwi: Completely uncomfortable with the fact that every single enquiry with this practice costs money. I saw a dentist and a hygienist in two separate appointments last year. Only to be told I have to pay about £100 for an enquiry on potential procedures I should consider. Not to mention I’m yet to receive the images taken from my initial consultation in 2022. The entire service rendered here lacks the human touch. Just a money extraction system it feels like.
Ginta: I was very cations and sceptical coming to another dentist after quite a few terrible dentist clinic experience, but this one came with recommendation and definitely wowed me. The service so far is amazing, everything is explained in detail, the care is the best is class so far i have seen. Yes there is a price tag, but definitely worth it. It's pleasent, clean, tidy, great friendly staff, and amazing care- can't ask for more. Well, some dedicated parking spots would be nice, as it can be tricky to find a parking spot, but it's not a big issue

Chelsea (NovaRhianne): The 44 Derngate is a very professional private practise keeping customer satisfaction and hygiene to its highest standard. The atmosphere is rather sophisticated, the staff are well-mannered and delightful, and the dental staff are pleasant and reassuring to communicate with. Additionally, the prices for treatment aren't too bad. I'd recommend giving it a visit.

As a single mother I struggle for childcare at times so while completing my treatment she and Kerry were able to keep my 2 year old entertained and involve her. Robyn Fairbrother: I've been a patient at ICE dental spa for a few years now and have had a number of high profile procedures, including a dental implant. I first came to James due to being a little nervous, however I have stayed due to the high standard of work and care provided. I am pleased to say that this is extended to Diana and her team. Diana took me through each step of the procedure of Composite bonding, she made me feel incredibly comfortable, looked after and excited for my new and improved smile. Diana is meticulous with her work and made sure every little detail was perfect. She talked through the logistics, gave me honest advice and her professional and experienced opinion. As a result, I have walked away from the practice feeling exceptionally happy. Thank you Diana! I highly recommend the practice.

It is a very calm and welcoming environment. All the staff, led by the captain of the ship James Anderson, are super friendly, highly skilled and very professional in their manner and presentation. There is also a lot of humour in the air. If you are looking for a dental practice that should score six stars out of a possible five, Ice Dental Spa is the place to try out.

Chelsea (NovaRhianne): I visited Ice Dental for the first time today and the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with kindness. I am an autistic person and often take stress tools anywhere I go. From the moment I sat down in the waiting area (which is very comfortable), to the moment I sat in the dentists chair, I was treated with compassion. The dentist and dental assistant I had were so friendly and understanding, walking me through every part of the process to ensure I knew what was going on. I needed this and they both provided. As far as the general atmosphere goes, it's super welcoming. They have a price list in reception along with a few other information posters and a glass cabinet of products for purchase. I am generally a highly nervous person when it comes to the dentist, but Ice Dental made me feel so at ease that I would thoroughly recommend using them to anyone who is thinking about it. I understand the prospect of going private may be off-putting, but the quality of service they provide and the care throughout is unmatched to your normal NHS dentistry. Thank you so much. I fully intend to become a regular here.

S Marshall: As a nervous patient, it is a huge thing for me to find a dental practice that I can be confident and comfortable with. Having been with a previous dentist for 25 years (and he retired! 😢) I had tried a big modern practice before the pandemic but it wasn’t for me. I wanted to find that ‘family feel’ type practice (that I had been in for 25 years) that also was modern and up to date with treatments (and offered sedation). I had been recommended the ice dental spa by another patient but also I had read the reviews. Today I had my new patient consultation. As a nervous patient I can honestly say I felt at ease from the moment I checked in. Everyone.. and I mean everyone, from the practice manager, both dentists and the dental nurse were kind, understanding, thorough, professional alongside completely non judgemental at my nerves. Everything was explained thoroughly and nothing was rushed. Whilst I haven’t had the treatments yet (I will review those once I’ve had them. Which will include implants) this is the first practice I have found that feels as good as the one I was with for all those years. From what I’ve experienced so far, I highly recommend.
Dalia Duke: If you looking for experienced dentist, I suggest you look no further.Even though I was told by other dentists’ practices that there are no specialists that could help me with my dental situation in Northampton, I managed to find one!I was happy to find out that James’s clinic was equipped with high- tech x-ray and 3 D imaging equipment to assist in various procedures, and that James has a sufficient amount of experience in dental treatments and restoration.I have had an implant and bone grafting procedure so far.During the first appointment, I had a scan after which my options were explained clearly. The communication with the practice was easy and no long waits for the procedure to start was required. The treatment plan was created on the day of the first consultation. The plan outlined the number of visits, that will be required to attend with the costs per visit. The benefits of the membership plan were explained during the initial call by a friendly staff member.I have to say, I am scared of dentists since childhood but James’s professionalism made me feel confident. His assistant Clare made me feel more relaxed during procedures. She has a very soothing voice. I must mention Lizzie who, before the procedure, kindly greeted me with a cup of very unpleasant medication mix and explained the purpose and importance of it.Now It is a few months since the procedures started, during this period it was always easy to get in touch with the practice either via phone or e-mail, and my questions were answered promptly.I am very impressed by the customer service and professionalism you demonstrate in the practice.Thank you, James and your team, for looking after me!

I always see Kumar & he has really helped me with my previous fear of dentists by being sympathetic & caring when I have undergone treatment, especially when I had an implant.I’ve had some bad experiences with other dentists but Kumar has always reassured me & listened.I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

jim stoter: After carrying a painful tooth for about a week I called the dental suite to ask if they could extract my tooth to relieve the pain. Staff were very helpful and after visiting the practice to complete the new patient admin I was invited to attend the practice the next day for the consultation. An X-ray was taken and advised the tooth should be pulled and to return the next day for the extraction. At this point I was presented with a bill for £414 for the consultation and the extraction of the tooth. Needles to say I declined the appointment and fortunately found a NHS dentist that same day who promptly removed the decay and dressed the tooth with the advise he would complete root canal treatment at a later date. Thankfully the pain has now gone and the cost was only £23. Faith in the NHS rightfully restored.
Real LydiaB: Not happy. Despite repeated visits between December and March after having a white filling there, and being told nothing was wrong, even after the filling broke after two days and had to be redone; I ended up going to a private dentist to have that tooth extracted after getting a painful abscess. This is the second timein two years that I've had to have an extraction within a few months of having a white filling by Dr K at this practice. Dr K has been patronising throughout, and instead of refunding me for these (expensive) failed fillings, tries to upsell me yet more private treatment.I've been with them over 18 years. Sadly, I've lost all faith in this practice I sent an email with my complaint.. They never replied. I'm never going back.

Ian Gulliman: I have been coming to the Elms Dental Practice since 1987 when my first dentist was Mr Sharpe. Since then whoever my dentist has been, I have always had excellent service and care. If you are looking for a professional dentist there is no other Dental practice I would trust with my care.

Alan March: I visited for a biannual routine check up and all went well - friendly people and so forth. But then I was told that my dentist is going private and my charges would rise from £56.20 a year to £248.40 a year (paid monthly) - a four and a half times increase. I wasn't offered a transfer to another NHS dentist. I don't know what I'm going to do now. I've been with the practice for nearly 50 years and feel that I've just been dumped from the NHS.
Jazzi: I have been seeing Bianca for a scale and polish for several years now and have been extremely satisfied with her professional service and would gladly recommend her.
Lis Johnson: Parking can be a bit of a nightmare (give yourself some extra time to wait and be able to park in their carpark). My dentist though, Meghna, is absolutely lovely - v kind, helpful and patient. I couldn't ask for a better dentist.

Jessica Reynolds: Started my apprenticeship with AS in August 2020 and have had about 4 tutors in a span of about 14 months. Staff here seem to stay for a couple months and then go. There's no consistency. I haven't progressed past the first unit in a year due to appointments constantly being changed at the last minute or cancelled all together. Staff here don't care about students or their wellbeing as I've tried to complain and was completely disregarded. Honestly would not recommend using AS at all. There far better companies to use for apprenticeship training, that actually care about the students and their training and aren'y just after their funding.
Silvia Stoicheva: To all future dental nurses, don’t waste your pressure time with them.You could find so much better companies on the market like learndirect and others with the wright support.I wasted 2 years of my time having 4 assessor changed over and each of them started all over the begging with the work as no one of them trusted the previous one .All if this affects your course length and on the end they just chucked all the exams in a short period of time with the right support of fireman examiner.
Ava Oneill: Absolutely shocking company to work for!!! I advise all dental nurses to stay well away from them. I started training as an assessor and after 3 months they said they couldn’t afford to pay me anymore as there wasn’t enough trainees and a lack of funding…. The manager also wouldn’t pay me the money I was owed for petrol and tried to stall the payment by saying I hadn’t visited one of the trainees for their assessment, luckily I had photographic evidence on my phone of the visit I carried out at the practice that day, so this just goes to show what awful, vindictive people they really are.

Maya Pasea: I recently completed my apprenticeship with Anderson stockley and I can’t fault them one bit! I completed my apprenticeship just 1 week after my predicted completion date (which was predicted before Covid) even after Covid hit. My mentor was Debby and she was great and she was always there to answer any emails or questions I had the same day. Even throughout Covid the team have changed to online learning and the transition was smooth and made learning even easier for me to do from home. There was access to revision at all times and was very clear the next steps I had to do to further my learning and progress. I had some group revision calls with other learners and had a call once a month, sometimes more with my mentor Debby to go over new coursework and to work towards my exams. I felt as though Debby really got to know me as a person and the way I work which was great and made it a really lovely whenever I got to chat to her. She was just as concerned about how I was coping with the work and at work rather that just nagging me to do it which was lovely and a key trait to a tutor (in my opinion). Chantelle who is in charge of organising any online learning calls and exams has been great with communicating with me and my manager and working around us and our busy schedules which was great! My learning experience was made fun and enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this team and company for anyone considering it. A big thank you to all the team

The whole team have adapted extremely well to the challenges that have arisen from covid and the management have done everything possible to ensure everyone within the team as well as learners and employers are kept safe whilst adhering to the government updates.
Hannah Bostock: I have recently qualified as a Dental Nurse using Anderson and Stockley as my training provider.I started my portfolio in a paper folder and halfway through my training switched to the online e-portfolio, this was very confusing for me but I understand why it was necessary, as the e-portfolio was much easier to manage.My first two tutors left the company, after visiting me in practice once or twice. I felt like this was hindering my progress as each new tutor had to build an understanding of me and my learning.I would like to mention my final tutor Debby for all of her support, regularly communicating with me through zoom during the pandemic to ensure I was still making progress. She suggested different revising methods to match my learning style and made sure I had comprehensive knowledge of my subject matter.Chantelle was also a star by organising everything (zoom meetings, exam dates etc) around my team's furlough days and always being very friendly.Due to the pandemic observations were put on hold and this resulted in a lot of paper work to be completed, which can be difficult during the working day. At times it did feel as though we were repeating ourselves and jumping through hoops with the paperwork.
Lily Massie: I had been with ASA training since I started my apprenticeship which was late August 2020. I had just been told that decisions had been made on the status of my course without even informing me. I later then received an email informing me. These decisions had been made and based on my future of being a dental nurse. I also feel the need to say that I am not fully satisfied with ASA training. For my course , I needed to be observed by my course trainers and no one has tried to arrange this for me or even bothered to come in and do these for me. My boss , the principal dentist , alongside a senior nurse , has had to do my observations, taking their own time out of their day to do this for me when this isn't even their job. The replies when I have tried to email ASA have been intermittent. I felt stressed and lost. I felt like I had no help and was left to get on with it.
Fatima Al-Hadad: I started the course in June 2019. This is supposed to be an 18 month course however this took 2 years instead due to negligence. I was told by Anderson Stockley that City and Guilds said observations cannot be carried out due to covid but they had not done anything pre covid whilst I was on the course with them for 9 months before covid. They did not provide me any support with observations and I was told my assessor had left and that all 10 observations had to be carried out by my practice. My employer supported me and finished these observations within 2 weeks which had been outstanding from 16 months.Not only with my clinical observations, they provided minimal support for my EPA. Many of my scheduled sessions with my assessor were continuously rearranged and I did not get any reply or feedback in weeks for my queries. I will not be recommending Anderson Stockley to anyone else as these 2 years have been more stressful in addition to the covid situation.
Melania Ioana Rachieriu: I was very stressed and anxious about how Anderson Stockley handled everything during my course period. I did not have any support from them with my observations, my employer helped me through this, even though it is not her job to do it. I felt helpless when I asked for help from my assessor and they replied very late or they didn't reply at all or when they set up coursework that had already been done. This showed unprofessionalism. I'm supposed to finish my dental nursing course on 26th of April and I was really worried about this and about my career as this is not happened on time.
Georgia Thomas: Positive:QualityI recently qualified as a dental nurse with this company. I have personally thanked the staff at Anderson Stockely because they have all been very helpful. I have to admit with COVID and my assessor leaving it was stressful but they all went above and beyond to support me with revision session through zoom etc. Thanks again everyone!

jennifer johnstone: Fantastic debtist, I’ve used this surgery for over 20 years and never has and grumbles. Dr de Bono doesn’t mess around and generally does any treatment there and then.
Mark Davies: I was fortunate in being accepted at the practice as an NHS patient this year.From initial contact from the practice to my appointment was less than two weeks.Had my initial oral care assessment and was given a thorough clean.The staff at the practice are very professional, and friendly.The Dentist Mr De Bono, is a fountain of knowledge, who explains everything that he is doing and any future things to look out for.I would certainly recommend the practice, a must five stars.
Mike Davies: Cannot fault this little gem of a dentist in my hour of need.I experienced one of my crowns crack & fall out. My usual dentist couldn't fit me in for 3 months. I contacted Far Cotton Dentist and spoke with a very friendly and helpful lady, who agreed to see me and treat me as a new NHS patient.I arrived 2 weeks later for my appointment. Within 5 minutes of arriving, I was called through to see the dentist and dental nurse. Both again were very friendly, informative and very professional. Initial treatment completed with a follow-up appointment to finish the work.Have today had my work completed with again the same friendly, informative and professional manner.Would highly recommend Far Cotton Dental practice if in search of a great dentist & experience.Keep up with the good work. Peter Smith: A really good experience at this dental practice. The receptionist is very polite and courteous. She is very kind, helpful and patient. The waiting area is nice and relaxing and Dr de Bono himself is a brilliant dentist. The nurse also is exceptional. He explained my problems better than even Harley St. surgeons and ENT surgeons were able to, and did an excellent job on my teeth and is helping me going forwards. I am so glad I found this amazing dentist.
Richenda Ingram: Ridiculous place. I enquired about getting a second opinion on some dental work that was proposed. The site said it did emergency treatment and was happy to pay. Was told they only do NHS and were not taking on any more people. No problem I said can you suggest any nearby local practices where I may go. Sorry we can't recommend anyone? How unhelpful can you get. I just wanted to know if there are other nearby practices. Being complacent and out of touch with the needs of people is the primary cause for a business to ultimately fail!Looking at some of the reviews it was probably a blessing in disguise being turned away. They look like butchers!!!

Micheal Owens: This butcher left me in agony for weeks whilst he was holiday, saying I needed a root canal. When i finally went in to have my root canal, he drilled down, and then said I didn’t actually need one. The injection he gave me didn’t really work. I was in agony actually screaming with pain in his chain, whilst he just carried on whilst the assist held me down. He knew he was hurting me. He has no remorse. Will never ever go here again.
Danny Desmond: My wife is petrified of the dentists and this guy (Chris de bono) can put a raging bull to ease, he's so sweet. My wife told me that she didn't even feel the injection and everyone else winces at them. We read up on the Internet and apparently you can spend about 4mins slowly injecting so it doesn't hurt! I am so happy she came back with such a great job done and a smile on her face after months of upset before hand.

james millar: The Dentist here is only interested in pulling teeth, one of mine had been damaged from an attack years previous and definitely needed pulled however because a smaller tooth was nearby and getting in his way, well he pulled that too. He spent an hour doing this whilst I was in agony and pushing down on previously broken ribs. He is a Butcher and very unsympathetic towards his patients. Stay away.
