Billy-Jean Dancer: This place is wonderful. The beautiful hills and dips are like Tellytubby land, or sand dunes made out of grass. My dog absolutely loved charging around in there.There are paths to walk everywhere; some lead to the big open spaces, others to woodland. The woods are fantastic when it’s hot or raining. I can spend hours there with my dog, it’s the best place I’ve ever been to for walks. People I’ve spoken to there have always been pleasant.Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Deborah Cuthbertson: Beautiful area, open space, with lots of nature to see and well looked after.Visited regulary by locals who all know each other, it has a really nice community spirit. The barn is a lovely friendly place on a Saturday morning to have a coffee - ran by volunteers.The field by the barn is usually used by families and children during the day. A lovely local regulary paints small stones and hides them around the barn area for the children (and adults) to find. A great children's play park, and loads of trees and areas to explore.The barn itself runs numerous groups and events, all detailed on their Facebook page.The top fields are mostly child free and a great place to walk, expecially with your dog. Again lots of open space for ball throwing and dogs to run and play.Nathan, a local dog trainer and behaviourist, does dog walks on a Saturday morning attended by dozens of people.With no close roads for parents or dog owners to be overly concerned about, friendly locals and with its green flag status, Bradlaugh fields and Barn is a gem of a place.

David Nuttall: Very poor quality radiator cover and even worse aftercare. Emailed the customer team at Expressco with photos as suggested on the delivery advice. Despite three chasing emails and numerous telephone calls speaking with Fay and Izzy (who both promised to action and did not) have had no further communication from them.Having seen the replies to other reviews on Trustpilot asking to contact the customer team I’m not expecting any action as have already done that time after time.I’m always happy to recommend good products and companies to deal with. Sadly my recommendation here is to avoid at all costs and shop elsewhere.

Ore Adegbola: I have been looking for the perfect mirror to finish off my bedroom and really add a glamorous feel. After researching loads of Hollywood mirrors, I found the Madeline Hollywood mirror at Jack stonehouse and thought it was perfect for me. I placed my order and the delivery was fast and was beautifully packaged. The mirror is beautiful and looks very elegant. The bulbs are the prefect brightness for applying makeup and products. The added USB charger point is also a really nice addition. Very easy to put together, sturdy base and the different hue setting is just perfect. Will 100% recommend.

Quality of painting is not the best ever, but fair for the price paid.They deliver through Yodel, so here two stars lost as I had to deal with Yodel mess of delivery on my own (actually, Yodel decided to deliver to someone living in my street - not even a neighbor). I would buy again from Jack Stonehouse only if I could have a different delivery option (I don't want to have anything else to do with Yodel never again).

Dave Hudson: In comparison to other stately homes that I've visited recently this has to to be the worst and definitely the one that gives least value for money.The house was tidy but drab. The paintings were nothing special and the bright gilding of the frames gave them a cheap look.Some of the displayed china was broken and some of the busts were also broken with poor repairs.The guides were friendly but Ill informed, one particular prominent fixture that I asked about had not even been seen by the guides. Eventually one of them looked it up on the tablet device and advised that it was a compass built into the wall connected to the weather vane. Hence giving wind direction.The gardens were tidy and okay if you like grass.The memorial lake was overgrown and tatty, certainly not what I'd expected. Considering that this is the usual reason for people wanting to visit Althorp, it was in my opinion quite shameful. The guide at the Lake who declared that he'd been there for two seasons knew very little about the Diana memorial, claiming that he had no idea where the tomb was and had never seen it. I found the location on Google maps and showed him the satellite view that clearly shows the details. I did begin to wonder what was going on!So, I say again, in comparison to let's say Burleigh House which has a similar entry price, Althorp would struggle to justify a £5 entry instead of the £22 it currently charges.

Cheynella Clynch: This was our first visit to Althorp House and we loved it! The house is in immaculate condition and has some stunning paintings, including a few unexpected contemporary ones as well. The grounds are well kept and the memorial to Princess Diana is quite special to see.However, we were slightly disappointed to find that the vast majority of the grounds are closed off to the public, it would be nice to have been able to explore a bit more of it rather than just the bit round the lake (which you could cover within 20 minutes at a steady walking pace). Having said that, we still enjoyed our visit, the guides in the house were friendly and knowledgeable, the staff in the shop and cafe were efficient and friendly too.Just be warned that the car park is across the road in a field, though I think there is a provision for disabled parking nearer the house but check their website for confirmation of this.A good day out for the family and despite some of the little disappointments, we look forward to visiting again when the house is next open.

Jon Clynch: We visited for the first time on August 27 2022 using our Historic Houses membership and although we had a great time there were some slight negatives.First, the good points:The house is amazing, stuffed with beautiful art, architecture and furniture. It is wonderfully kept, without any dust, dirt or damage (aside from a few cracks) so you can see that it's well looked after. The staff were friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic. We even saw Earl Spencer himself in the gift shop signing books and having photos taken.The toilets are clean and well maintained, the gift shop was pleasant and had some beautiful items. We ate in the Stables Cafe, which had plenty of options (including vegan!) even though it was late in the afternoon.After all this, it feels a bit mean-spirited to sound like I'm complaining, but it's only fair to let people know the facts.We arrived at the main gate (as directed by a sat-nav) to find them closed. We weren't the only ones, as other cars full of confused and frustrated people arrived! The public entrance is a couple of miles down the road, which we eventually found.Next, the car park is in a field opposite the public entrance, which is fine, but then it's a lengthy walk to the house from the ticket office - this was ok for us, but had we taken an elderly parent they would not have managed this on top of walking around the house and grounds. Unless you have a blue badge allowing you to access the disabled parking are, you have no choice. Also, public access to the grounds is limited to a small wooded area and the lake where Diana is laid to rest. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get to see more of the estate.Signs everywhere saying "no entry" "private" and "keep to the paths" felt a bit unwelcoming but I can understand them as many people don't discipline or control their offspring.However, overall it was an enjoyable day and we'll definitely go back (although it isn't open much throughout the year!)

Original Name: Great atmosphere as soon as you walk into the studio! Was tattooed by the lovely resident artist Lily and was pampered the entire time! Always made sure I was comfortable, never had an issue with me taking breaks and offered warm drinks to feel cozy in this weather. Kimberley Dorr: Had a day app to get my sleeve started here last month by Lily and was also lucky enough to bag a flash spot with her on Halloween too! It can be a little daunting walking in to a tattoo studio but this place is ace! They make you feel really welcome and Lily and the guys had me feeling comfortable and laughing all day long! Sean O: Id recommend making sure you have a final design agreed before booking or paying any deposit. After a 2 month wait with Lily I checked in 2 weeks before my sitting to see when my design would be drawn up and was told it hadn’t been done yet as they were too busy. I received 2 very basic concept designs 5 days before my planned sitting, the designs felt rushed to me, the second concept had my daughters name spelt wrong. I don’t believe these designs took several hours to complete and I would even more concerned if they did. I sent over a concept of my own to try and work towards something I would have been happier with but I was told that this wouldn’t work and no further redesigns would be done and I would either need to pick one of the 2 designs or I could cancel and get back 50% of my deposit as a ‘gesture of goodwill’. With the ultimatum of selecting a design that in no way met expectations or get a partial refund, what choice did I have? Disappointing experience and a waste of time and money in the end.I have edited this review for clarity based on the studios response.

christopher noad: I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but....I'd seriously avoid mark in here.Ive had two tattoos from him,one was amazing when first done but faded after a year (I was told by another actual tattoo artist it's because he watered down his ink) the other one was just a bit rushed, poorly placed and over priced.i have since had to get £1000 of poor quality work reworked by an actual professional.Be warned don't waste your money on this chancer.And I'm not the only one but I speak from my own personal experience.
