Ewelina Nowinska: If you take the risk and go here, DO NOT accept having the beginner girl do the job for you unless you want your baby's hair butchered!!!Awful experience for my baby's 1st haircut, which would've been a great memory to be had (especially after paying for "1st Cut Certificate" too).Overall, around my boy's head, uneven hair lengths, sides and back of the head is cut horrendously uneven, no rounding around the ear, top-sides longer than most hair (that was not intended nor requested)Pictures don't reflect how bad the job is as it was hard to take them.Not to mention, the girl who did this awful job didn't even use a freaking BODY COVER before starting the haircut. All the haircut went under his clothes around the neck, ON his clothes, in his shoes, EVERYWHERE. Ho-rri-fiiic experience!We'll never get back to this place, that's for sure.

Emma did an amazing job of cutting his hair in the circumstances (WW3!) and it looked great. She and Nikki were warm and welcoming and worked so hard to try to calm him, and his hair looked lovely at the end. Highly recommended!

James burton: We took both our sons in for a haircut, our eldest hates his hair being cut, washed or touched in any way shape or form! We have had difficult experiences with lots of other barbers (not their fault) with it mainly ending in screaming, tears and a half finished haircut. Safe to say we don't look forward to haircuts! It was an entirely different experience at shortcuts! Whilst he was not overjoyed about having his haircut he sat through it and ended up having a finished haircut. Nikki was fantastic, never stopped talking to him telling him what was going on as well as adapting to when he moved his head not once did he start to cry / panic or get upset, I couldn't believe it. She was also blindingly quick ( I usually book double appointments so was a little worried about a 15 minute timeslot!).For us this was a 45 minute drive in each direction, 100% worth it and I look forward to going again!Price wise, £12 is an absolute bargain would have paid double.Thank you so much me and my wife are relieved that we have found somewhere that we can get a finished haircut without all the screaming, tears and stress! You can be waiting a while if you don't pre book or they are short staffed but that's the gamble that you take.

Helena Ferraro: Recently visited with my son. Happy with his cut. However, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes after our booked slot to have his haircut. We arrived about 1-2 mins before our booked slot and another child had only just got into the chair. Once this child had finished I expected us to go next, but a walk-in who arrived after us was then prioritised because my child is apparently a "screamer"(even when I mentioned that we were in a rush and we were supposed to have finished by this point!). There was also hair from multiple previous cuts all over the floor.

You can tell she’s very kind and gentle especially to little children. Our son hated having buzzers on his head but when Sam did it he didn’t even mind let alone cry!
