Cardiology: what do users think?
Dave Manning: Went for a stress test 11th April 2022 was told that I had unstable angina said that they would put me on the waiting list at the time they said it was urgent. After 6 weeks tried to call cardiology never spoke to anyone only an answer phone saying they would get back to me but never did after another attempt finally spoke to someone only to have the phone put down on me. A few days later received a call from a very loud lady telling me not to call again as they don’t know when they will have any appointments when you have been diagnosed with a heart problem it is very worrying for myself and my family learn to take a bit of criticism cardiology. Now January 2023 still waiting I keep getting put back every month I wonder why🤔 maybe you shouldn’t ask questions about your health when you are worried about it and why won’t you answer your phone anymore?

Northampton General Hospital: what do users think?
Renato Silva: Nothing related with medical staff from the hospital but with security from the hospital. My kid was very dizzy couldn't walk and I drop my wife and kid near the A&E and some idiot came runing and shouting you can't stop here look look you gona get a fine. First of all if I stopped not parked for less than a minute to drop them is because I didn't have another option normally the people are not going to the hospital when they are in good mood! Second if is a private company who makes the control from car park and roads around the hospital why this rude person came runing and talking in a threatening way! We are already down because the baby is more than 1 week down mood. Unfortunately someone gave him a jacket saying security and he came showing off is a boss! Not a smile not a "good afternoon sir look there is a camera you should move your car" is nothing to do with us but the camera can catch you, nothing!!! Well this is the type of people we have no education no manners and big bosses... What I can say!
Dermot O'Regan: 22 hrs in a Waiting area whit a Swelling on the Brian this is after being sent home the day b4 being told by the doctor that he would bet his job on Nothing going on in the brain ??? My daughter is still waiting to see a doctor apparently a swelling of the Brian is not a emergency 🙄 this is happening now may the 18th 15.40
Anthony Dsouza: Great hospital however the staff here is to only to take their salaries from tax payers. They know nothing and is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Rudeness to the core. Need a reality check on where they get their salary
luis AURRECOECHEA H.: Excelente soy un paciente del hospital, tiene un personal de primera muy agradable una atención impecable yo amo este hospital doy gracias a todo su personal por su dedicación son personas con una calidad humana de primera
Rex Lowin: Had to attend AandEExcellent speedy service
Dave Manning: Where do I begin? Uncomfortable uncaring unsociable unhappy always some sort of problem lack of information unhelpful especially a / e always problems with that department terrible.
Mr. Lambo: If you can, try go to other hospital. I am literally shocked, general doctors at a&e has lack of knowledge, i was given paracetamol and suggested to google the symptoms. I have no idea how they getting graduated at medical school.Arrived to hospital at 9pm1 doctor at a&e only6 patients were in the queueAverage waiting time 2h
beth crocker: Appalling hospital, if you can get to Kettering, go there! The treatment, judgement and discrimination I have received over many years is disgusting. I know the treatment you will receive depends on who you see, and sometimes its better than others. However there is a reoccurring theme with NGH of lack of awareness for mental health issues. When staff sit on the nurses station bad mouthing a patient who has attempted on their life, it makes a person there with mental health issue themselves, not want to stay. Badly organised, inattentive and horrible. The best people in that hospital are the volunteers and the HCAs, they are the ones that are the most caring and empathetic on the whole. If you can go to Kettering over Northampton please do.
Gillian Twiselton: Good but parking was awful
Arrgh Bee: Fantastic staff and great facilities. High level of care.
Lynn Flecknor: The 1 star is for the nurses only, as for my treatment by a Gynaecologist and co with their procedures done on me without pain relief was disgraceful and I never want to ever go there again.
Linda Blow: My husband has been going to see Mr Tomlinson for about 5 years in Neurology department Mr Tomlinson is very professional friendly always takes time with my husband in his busy clinic on Tuesdays we want to say thankyou to him
David Prowse: My 10 Yr old daughter recently had an MRI at NGH and the staff were excellent. The process was well explained and the team provided reassurance during a process that sppk adults. Many thanks DP.
George Christofi: The hospital itself is great and the staff excellent. The biggest issue is parking. All wards visiting is at the same block of 2 hours so the limited amount of space is highlighted dramatically. I won't complain about the cost because it is comparable to council run car parks. It's just too small!!
John Meakins: The staff are great, but the service is appalling. There is an extreme wait time for literally everything and as nice as the staff are you don't feel like your health is in good hands due to the lack of resources. I wish I could say this was only a one off, but it's happened a handful of times in the past few years including the birth of my child. If you can, go private or to another hospital.
Steve W: I couldn't criticise the place based on my most recent visit.
sahana battiwala: Pathetic paediatric emergency service including staff in it. We waited until morning to be seen by ENT, and nurses were just happy to not to call ENT to come and see my child. Very rude and stubborn staff. Absolute lack of sympathy and empathy. I hope I don't need to go there. Terrible, horrendous and useless.
Venczel Andra: The most horrible hospital that I was in my life. From the luck of space l, to the incompetence of a lot of the doctor's and nurses. Plus the long hours that you have to stay until someone is actually looking at you.Shame on NHS!!! And you are asking for a raise of salary???
tom george: Worst hospital I have ever tooAll the staff were very rudeEspecially the emergency department
Andrew Potts: Amazing staff let down by lack of beds
bailey brown: brilliant care, amazing doctors and nurses , were extremely helpful and attentive

Danes Camp Surgery: what do users think?
Tom Winton: One of the better GP practices I’ve been enrolled with. Responsive via the website triage system, I get a response, treatment and support in good time whether that’s face to face or by phone. Helpful reception staff. Everything I need.
Pete Singh: Poor very poor
Frederick Malcolm: Good care and attention from nurses..
Tracey T: My experience of Danes Camp surgery has been very positive. Online triage form system is great with a doctor consultation the next day. Clinical staff are compassionate and reception staff are polite and happy to help. I’m really impressed as I know they must be stretched but still delivering a good service. Well done Danes Camp Surgery.
rodica tamaian: The worst surgery in the whole town. They don’t even bother to answer the phone and I went there in person and the receptionists were doing nothing!!!!!! There were 3 ladies doing nothing!!! My child was very poorly and all they wanted to see was a photo of him , he wasn’t even invited for a check up! It is a child!!! I can’t believe it how superficial the people can be ! You forgot to be human ladies!!!
Alan: Has been my mother's surgery for the last 6 years since moving into independent living accommodation. Have nothing but praise for the doctors, nursing and the reception team. Acting as contact point and mobile communication very good. Regular 6monthly blood checks for the drugs annual reviews. Very good never failed to get an appointment or discussion of issues even through Covid. If I lived near would join it. Thank you
C M: Had a really bad chest infection, couldn't breathe properly and going to sleep was horrendous, it lasted for months and I was eventually given antibiotics for a different illness and it cured my chest infection.I was literally wheezing and couldn't walk anywhere without expelling mucus, doctor listened to my chest and I guess didn't hear anything and told me it's not a chest infection.I know when I have a cold/the flu or when I have a chest infection, could have saved me a lot of trouble if he just gave me antibiotics but for some reason the strain on my lungs from continuously coughing for months was the better route..?This surgery is about as useful as the dental practice next to it. Nice decorations for a desolate road.
L B: Terrible service. I swear this surgery just gets worse.Phoned 150 times this morning to try and get an appointment and no answer.
Jack Sellick: Would recommended looking for an alternative doctors as you can never get booked in and when you do get booked it’s messed up from the surgery putting down incorrect contact details. Lovely lady on reception but not a good surgery. Seems they may have took on too many people. I will be moving on now after being with this surgery for 20+ years.
cheyenneyb b: In the 4 years I’ve been with this surgery I’ve always struggled to get appointments, been told to call back the next day, been rushed through appointments without being able to discuss an issue fully and felt truly like just another number. Very disappointed.
Thomas Maar: Im only giving 3 stars because its a mix of experiences. It really depends if you are lucky to be sent to a caring and interested person or not. I called with symptoms and was attended really well. I was immediately invited for a checkup and got my medication prescribed. although my partner called in on same day from the same household with same symptoms and didn't receive the same good service . The doctor didn't seem too interested in any other symptoms rather than one and didn't prescribe anything or offered an appointment. Later that night we had to seek help from 111 who funny enough prescribed her what ive been prescribed. It's a matter of luck people.. Trial and error. If you not happy with the outcome ring again and persist.Another con is that often their phones don't connect.. Often i get a busy tone.Their repeat prescription works well through the online system. It's a bonus.
Hannah Samira: If I could give 0 out of 5 I would. The doctors and nurses here are dangerously negligent, and it seems malpractice is something they simply do not care about. Below are a number of encounters I have had with them.1) I had a constant headache, struggling to breathe and lost a stone in a week. Their diagnosis: I needed my eyes testing. What the issue actually was: I had glandular fever, which was diagnosed by an out of hours surgery in seconds.2) I asked to try anti-depressants as I had suffered a self-harming relapse, something I have struggled with since I was little. When ordering my first prescription, I saw the GP had listed in his notes for me that I had never experienced urges to self harm - THIS WAS THE SOLE REASON I HAD ASKED FOR HELP IN THE FIRST PLACE! He simply did not listen to me or care for what I was saying.3) Way back in 2016 I asked to be referred to the nearest Gender clinic. When I asked if it could remain confidential (keeping in mind I was 20 at this point) they said they couldn't guarantee it. I was only informed years later by a therapist that THIS IS MALPRACTICE. I tried to get a referral again a few years later and THE DOCTOR TRIED TO TALK ME OUT OF IT. 6 months after that I called the gender clinic who confirmed THEY NEVER RECEIVED MY REFERRAL. The waiting lists are now over 3 years, wheras if I'd been referred when I asked to be referred, the waiting list was only 6 months.I'm completely disgusted - their negligence is life-threatening. If it wasn't for the fact that I truly belive the NHS is vitally important for this country, despite my bad experiences with this particular surgery, I would be taking legal action. I will be changing my doctors as soon as possible, and I urge anyone still with this surgery to do the same.
Nicholas Jedrzejewski: Ok help.
Jules Moore: I would give negative points if possible. Completely uncaring doctors. ( One doctor walked out on my child when he was having s fit and I had call the ambulance to the surgery).Got prescribed medication with serious known side effects without discussion and doctor blamed me for taking the medication. Uncaring doctors and reception staff. Avoid!!
AC Slater: Very compassionate doctors, nurses, assistants and auxiliary staff. Happy with the care I saw whilst at this practice. + very clean and easy to get to!
Paul Plumridge: i am amazed at the 1 star reviews. They must be for a different surgeryI have made multiple appointments for myself my wife and our two daughters. NEVER waited more than 24 hours. The service received has always been fantastic
ellie ash: Had such a terrible experience with a nurse today who told me they didn’t see the point in diagnosing me and did not listen to a single symptom I described. Just prescribed me antibiotics and sent me on my way. Would not recommend this place to anyone
Antreas Mavro: I have had high temperature for 6 days and I called for an appointment and they told me to take paracetamol. I was explaining them that I was taking for all these days and the temperature was not going down and they told me to try it again. They told me to take again paracetamol so I can put the temperature down but she didn’t seem to hear or understand me when I was telling her that it doesn’t help me to put down the temperature.
Michael Fisher: Has to be one of, if not the worst surgeries in Northampton.Receptionist's are very rude and think they own the surgery. You can never get an appointment when you need it, i have a serious illness and in need of an appointment, which i can't get after trying for 2 weeks. You never get to see a doctor, most likely off playing golf! The surgery is a disgrace.
Dale Moss: Almost impossible to book an appointment except very far in advance, weeks or months in the future. Saw a nurse on an emergency appointment and she put in notes for the doctor to contact me for a follow up. Never heard anything, never able to talk to a doctor, absolute shower.
Chris Harvey: Very simple place to book an appointment. Walked in, no fuss, asked to be seen to some time in the future. Received a text confirmation stating date and time of appointment. Staff are professional. Came in a few weeks later, my problem was seen to with maybe only a 5 minute delay which is understandable considering how busy they can be sometimes. Overall great experience.
