Terry Watson: Sayers have been established here for many years. Now retired, I currently use them periodically to supply paint for my narrowboat, bit like painting the Forth Bridge it's an ongoing thing. I don't drive these days, but they are happy to deliver to me on a next day basis. Tackling a big job, full repaint to 50 feet of the cabin side, I had an unusual problem with the paint mix being off colour, they quickly did me a fresh mix and the job was not delayed. Proper service!

OLD BOY GARAGE: I don't know why but now you have to have a minimum of four cans of aerosol colour matched definitely a bad idea just to get the colour match absolutely perfect. You buy a aerosol of paint to do a quick cheap not as perfect job kind of pricing yourself out of using a can at 60 pounds another job for amazon

Pete Gearing: Firstly I had a problem with colour whereby I asked for a colour which I gave them the vehicle and code, and the paint they supplied was completely different should’ve been silver but it came out bronze, and they refused to do anything about it, then once I’ve applied the paint I’ve got no assistance after a problem developed. VERY POOR SERVICE. I guess it’s because I’m A member of the Public and I’m not one of their regular customers.Don’t use Sayers.

Jennifer Hunter: Slightly annoyed. I visited this place for a quote four weeks ago. I've been busy so only just got round to finally booking it in. I went back to Autsprays and said I came down previously and I just wanted to know when the work can be done and how long you need it for. The guy asked what quote we had been given of which I said I was told the maximum it would be is £450. He asked if we had been given a card with the quote on. I said no as we were never offered a card with the quote when we came 4 weeks ago. He then proceeded to say the quote is now £550!! Utter madness. They lost my business there and then. Can't be trusted.

Alex Thompson: I have personally worked in the motor trade at all levels for over 25 years, now being a Group General Manager of After Sales for a large overseas multi franchise dealer group with numerous large workshops and body shops. The team at this body shop i have known and used for years, when I was based in the UK working, I had roles based in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, East Anglia, and Southern England, and this was my go-to place whenever I had a body/paintwork issue no one else could rectify, and they always delivered – I know many others in this region who also think similarly to me on this. This is also the only place i take my own, my friends and my family’s vehicles for any kind of body/paintwork.Paintwork is an art, many can do it, but not many well, the standard this team put out consistently is as good as you get in the refinishing industry, now being outside of the UK for over 12 years i have recently arranged for my mother’s car to be repaired due to a scrape she had, as normal the work done is amazing, the care taken is meticulous, with true a duty of care attitude to all they do, whilst trying to keep costs down, but delivering a standard any dealership would be proud of. I can honestly say places like this are sparse anywhere in the world and I personally would like to thank you for the support given to my parents on this recent visit, as they too were as impressed, as I have always been, which was my reason for leaving this review. It would really save your customers time if you made it clear that you don't list all the paint colours in your "easy look-up" charts, but only the colours which you have in stock. I was given a vague explanation of where to find the code on my car. I would have appreciated not going backwards and forwards from car to store looking for non-existent code. If I'd had a little help I would have just bought the nearest colour (as the chip isn't very visible). I really want to support in-person shopping, but when customer service is lacking (there appeared to be plenty of staff available), it just pushes people like me online.

Still awaiting the refund. Terrible service!

Thankfully the Riverside store is excellent and supplied and fitted my items.Now waiting for my refund from the original order from this store.My advice, head to Riverside instead!
