U Khan: Dreadful groomers. I showed them a picture of how I wanted it and they shaved all of my dogs fur off. They took three hours+ to essential chop it all off, would not advise bringing your dogs here.

maz B: I brought my dog in the other day and asked for his hair to be cut short. The lady I spoke to was very polite. However I did say “3” times please make sure it’s short all around as he sheds a lot!So we picked him up after he was finished, to my surprise it was “slightly” shorter, as if he just had a trim...I looked at my gf and although I tried to hide it she noticed on my face but it was closing time and I had seen that the staff packing up to leave and my dog was the last their so I felt abit rude for some reason to say “I’m not happy with it” just because I didn’t want to stop them going home..Anyway we took him home and I thought i would just grow on it and get on with it.. however as the days went by, and I was able to see him the whole day in different angles, I felt that we literally paid for nothing, their was hardly any hair cut!! could have done it myself at home and saved a good few pounds... I mean his hair was just the same!The only thing that was noticeable was the feet were trimmed well..After giving it a lot of thought it was my girlfriend insisting I call them even tho it was a week later! So we wasn’t expecting much from this as for their credit it’s a week later that I decided to call.. maybe to say “bring him in and we can see what we can do or even next time we can give you abit of a discount” because ultimately I was not a happy customer.So eventually I called back to ask if their was anything that could be done, and the girl Passed the phone to the owner who was not sympathetic towards me at all!Her answer was, “I was their and you were happy” “I was their when you spoke to the lady” and I said yeh I asked it to be very short.. then she said abruptly with attitude said “can I speak now”. I mean my voice was very calm and gentle their was no reason for her to be so rude!?At the end of the day I am a unhappy customer and running a Successful business of myOwn for over 20years, I NEVER EVER talk to my customers like a child.It was unprofessional the way it was handled.. that’s how you lose customers and you don’t grow your business. Won’t be going back for sure.

Mandy Jane: My baby boy loved it here. He always left happy and looking and smelling gorgeous. He was nervous of groomers due to a bad experience with a groomer (since gone thank goodness) who'd almost shaved him. However this place was great with my boy and he lost his nervousness about groomers soon after.
stephanie Kealy: I was unaware that Muddy Paws is under new ownership. I had regular taken my dog to get her claws cut. Under the old ownership this had been quick and efficient with care focussed on my dog. The process this time took longer and I was then told that the cost had increased by 100%. Worse than this, on leaving the shop I could see that my dog had claws that had bled. This never happened in the past and I will not be returning.

Denise Allen: I have been using the Muddy Paw for several years now and cannot recommend them highly enough. The grooming is excellent, the establishment very well run and my Doodles always come home looking lovely and seem relaxed and happy with their experience.The recent posts regarding the kennel cough are unfortunate and I would like to point out that as kennel cough has an incubation period of up to two weeks and that some dogs can carry the infection for months without any symptoms, it is not always apparent that an animal is infected.In my experience the girls at The Muddy Paw have only ever been friendly, polite, always helpful .... and most importantly my dogs love them!
Katrina Zambo: I have no complaints about the service we received however I have been up all night with my dog who has caught kennel cough from The Muddy Paw. When we called to inform them they got defensive and point blank refused to accept our dog has been made ill by coming to them, he does not socialise with other dogs so could not have caught it like that and two other dogs I know who have visited in the last couple weeks have also caught kennel cough and our dog has not been around them either. I understand it’s very difficult to contain as it is so contagious but the complete ignorance from The Muddy Paw when informed about our dogs condition was disgusting and no apology was given, I will not be returning, for your dogs health and safety avoid this place.
Mitchell Cox: My parents took their two dogs for grooming two weeks ago and a few days after they both developed kennel cough. They had only been in the garden and not near any other dogs so certain this has come from The Muddy Paw. We took our own dog this Saturday 5th June (unaware of my parents situation at the time) and he has also developed kennel cough three days after. Again he has not been near any dogs or any other places apart from The Muddy Paw. I put a call in to The Muddy Paw this morning to make them aware, however they were instantly defensive about the situation and argued that it could not have come from them. Not happy with the manner I was dealt with and I certainly will not be using The Muddy Paw again.

nikki Jones: First visit for Henley today, was a tad anxious as he's nervous around people he doesn't know, especially when left and I'm out of sight.Needn't have worried, apparently he was good as gold.With all the restrictions in place for covid I was concerned about security when removing his collar and harness as he has absolutely zero recall, but it was fine there is a fenced in walkway and the main door is locked.He came out looking very dapper and de-scruffed.Already booked in for his Christmas spruce up.

Liz Johnson: Clearly arrived at this groomer on a bad day today. Never seen anyone react in such a stroppy manner because my vets didn’t follow her instructions during my dog’s appointment. (Which I booked under her advice, so not entirely sure why I got the brunt end). Given I am neither a groomer nor a vet I tend to go with the opinion of the experts rather than tell people how to do their jobs. Didn’t understand her aggressive reaction. She was extremely rude and I felt very uncomfortable. I usually use Muddy Paw who I never have any issues from, but had closed temporarily due to staff sickness. Naturally, I expect barking when in a dog groomers, but not from the groomer herself, zero customer service today. Shame really, nice groom. But her attitude was absolutely awful and I wouldn’t use this service again. Felt her approach was completely unwarranted.

Blue looked happy and absolutly gorgeous when we collected him. Jenny discussed what we wanted done, took time to listen and made suggestions clearly demonstrating thst she was a real professional. We are so pleased with the results! Blue is a Cocker Spaniel and a much loved family pet. So pleased to find someone who understands hand stripping! Can't praise her enough or her staff at the spa! Jen: Amazing place. I have used this hairdressers for years. Keep going, then letting my hair grow, then going back etc. Really lovely atmosphere, staff are always friendly and I was absolutely amazed at the service I received today. I brought some colour shampoo and conditioner a few weeks ago and was just not getting on with it. I tried washing my hair with conditioner, without, using a tiny amount etc but the shampoo just did not suit my hair. I called on the off chance to see if they sold any other products as I wanted to ensure I brought a shampoo that would not strip my colour. The lady I spoke to on the desk was so helpful, understood what I meant and went off to see if they had something different. She came back on the phone and said they had, I was fully expecting to pay for this but she said if I hadn't used alot they would exchange so I took it back still thinking I would end up binning that and paying for a new one to my surprise they gave me a replacement for both and I didn't even have to pay the difference. So they really do care and its not just a sale. I cannot recommend them enough.Service:Hair coloring

Arrived and no parking for horses, hundreds of cars taking all the parking allocated for trailers and 3.5 trucks, finally parked trailer in the hgv park, but still only enough parking for holding a small pony rally....Got down to the warm up arena.... No staff present....a rider fell in the warm up arena, no staff, no first aid, Whole thing totally disorganised, would recommend giving this venue a miss.... Unorganised shambles!!

Also parents are not notified of abscences until student is about to be rsmoved from course. Administration and pastoral care really needs urgently looking at.

FAZE RAVEN: We had received my girlfriends welcome pack and her bursary forms along with her PPE informing that she has been accepted into a level 2 course in September. I have spoke to her course Lecture and she is saying that she hasn’t been accepted because of her attendance.Her attendance was low because at the start of the year she didn’t get her timetable for maths and that deducted a lot of her attendance. She also did some hours of work experience but the college took no consideration with helping her with her mental health and everything that she had to go through with work replacement, the course managers was completely unacceptable. I think I did more work then the college with trying to help her with the situations that the college failed to produce.She had high hopes in September too carry on with a new experience at the college but the college failed to help her and gave her wrong information.

Jesus: Terrible, would not recommend.I was studying Animal Care and, while that stream of learning is demanding, there was an overwhelming amount of assignments, along with work experience and commercial experience in college, these were impossible to complete simultaneously.On top of this, there was a lack of organisation regarding where to find documents, information and lessons were sometimes entirely cancelled due to staff meetings, COVID and some unauthorised absences of the lecturer.Staff - Very rude and unorganised. Lecturers would not respond to emails regarding help, but would discipline without taking responsibility on their behalf even though they were in the wrong, no apologies whatsoever. In general, most lecturers had a terrible attitude towards the class, sometimes targeted but mostly to the entire class, leaving the learning environment feeling hostile and making it difficult to reach out for help.Curriculum - I, and some of my peers were unaware that there would be a business aspect in this course. All peers, when asked: "is anybody interested in starting their own business?" replied with no. This business aspect could have been optional or a lesson but not with assignments considering, in my case, my lecturer constantly flaked on the lessons and would not tell us where to go.There were also events on our days off (or when people were supposed to be completing their work experience) where we would have to stay home on call for hours listening to career choices which had mostly nothing to do with our course on a few occasions. This time could have been used to complete the colossal amount of work given. Also if you didn't attend, even though the calls were irrelevant, (I sat through them all, so I can confirm this) you would constantly be alerted and move up the disciplinary ladder.Mental health - when joining this course, everyone was assured that the college was supportive of mental health but did not live up to their word. A particular lecturer would jump to conclusions, humiliate you infront of your peers by pointing you out and isolating you from the class during lessons. They did not pull you aside to talk.Other lecturers were reluctant to help other students for no reason, this links back to the isolating too as a select group of people would have the lecturer the entire lesson leaving the rest confused, bored and struggling because we don't learn as much as the rest.

Toni Marinova: My experience was great. The tutors cared for us and were so helpful. I was studying Level 2 Professional Bakery year 2018/2019. I had all the support I needed. Even for personal issues. I would definitely recommend. The college is beautiful , not to forget . Honestly I had such a lovely time there. My tutors were Clare, Steve and Katie, forgive me if I have not mention someone else but all of you are great and I miss you.

Steve Doyle: Be very careful if you sign up for an online course to read the small print. I signed up for a course, got COVID and then LONG COVID and can no longer meet their ‘timescales’ for completion. I can’t remember seeing the small print or any contract as I bought the course via Reed employment. Devil and the deep blue sea- can’t finish, can’t pay the £140 they are wanting. Be careful your circumstances don’t change through no fault of your own.

Lovely staff booked me in and were very friendly and professional. Rachel was fantastic and I instantly felt at ease. I showed pics and felt Rachel listened to what I wanted. When I found that my favourite hair stylist had moved on, I chose Chloe to do my hair this time. Any worries about disappointment were quickly dispelled, as she discussed my colour shades and highlights, and the exact shape and length of the cut that I wanted to achieve. The result was fantastic, exactly what I wanted, and I've made my next booking with her. Together with friendly attention from her dog Enzo and the constant latté service, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the salon.

Bill Pearson: A group of us were there for a Xmas lunch (9/12/21) cooked and supplied by the catering students (but overseen by watchful staff). Generally the food was excellent as was the service by the students. A few grumbles about vegetables being luke warm and main courses not served at the same time and having to watch other guests eat. The price for the quality of food and its presentation was exceptional value. Many commercial restaurants we have been to would not score 8/10 as the marks we gave here
roblox fan: bad moving on corse, ( was bullied and the class mates where rude and inappropriate. the staff never knew what was going on half the time and ended up leaving I do not recommend this corse. yet alone ambers taxi contract that they have/had.
Richard Keenan: We went to the open day and what we experienced so far is that all the staff we met were very polite and friendly. Everything we asked about they answered and gave use more information that we didn't know. My daughter was very impressed and I think she has made her mind up about where she will be going in September
Craig Mckirdy: Cancelled my sons football course the Friday before he was due to start on the Monday. He was attending pre course training and was told then. No official communication from the college. We had to contact them. Hundreds of pounds spent on kit etc. Thanks for the stress.

Amanda Unitt: My son booked for a Cleanse and cut on Saturday 8th January appointment ran 1.5 hours late.His hair was not washed and the cut was appalling, longer one side than the other.The hairdresser was telling him how much pressure he was under and that he didn't do much training in scissor cuts ( not what you want to hear when he's cutting your hair).Raised with the salon to be told they are to busy to get a senior stylist to correct the mess, was told the Salon owner Christian would call me and no response, called today and apparently he is off so not to concerned about his customers and reputation of the salon.Would not recommend *NO CUSTOMER SERVICE *

With COVID times especially! I tested positive and didn’t want to come and infect you and 24 hrs notice I think is good enough anyway. I can do most things but not see into the future.

Louise Lloyd-Jones: Truly awful and have vowed never to return. The hairdresser cut a fringe where there was never one before when doing my daughter's hair. When I complained, there was no apology. In fact, they were completely unbothered and acted like I was making a fuss over nothing. My daughter has additional needs and this experience not only left her upset, she now refuses to go to the hairdresser (an experience she used to enjoy) and it has culminated today in her trying to cut her own hair (disaster).
