A Begum: As I cannot reply to LCS' comments below, I am forced to submit another review in order to address their comments.LCS did NOT carry out any document checks when my mum went for this work trial. The trial was unpaid and only when we challenged this did Gemma state that the trial was unpaid. Gemma's specific words FROM the recording I have mentioned in my previous review is as follows"It was a trial run and interview, it was made clear to all of them before they actually started and they were all given the option if they were not happy then they could go and I thanked them for their time"Sarah Horton has now taken over the handling of this complaint however she has made matters worse by being dishonest and claiming she called my mum twice a week ago to sort out payment. This is untrue, she did not call my mum. All the frantic phone calls from LCS only started this week once we posted the negative review on here which was a few days ago. She has also decided to have selective hearing for the recording mentioned above.LCS maintain that all the trials are paid for, if that is the case, why were my mother's documents not checked when she arrived for this "trial", why are you chasing it now and stating its a "legal requirement" to check originals. You might want to double check the legislation, these checks are meant to be done BEFORE any work commences and not after.I hope LCS have learnt their lesson now and they will in future pay their staff they bring in for "trials"I also find it amusing that the only positive reviews from apparent cleaners started to appear after my negative review was posted, and all from accounts that have never posted reviews before.The reason why we have not let this go and continue to respond to LCS' comments is because it is disgusting the way they are operating and treating people.

F Ali: Deleted my review in error from my own account hence posting the review again to ensure that anyone that wishes to use/work for this company are fully aware of our experience with them.Unprofessional and unethical cleaning company. Promised my mum a cleaning job subject to a "trial clean" via text from Gemma. My mum turned up with all her docs and found multiple other people there who were also promised the job on the basis of a trial clean.At no point was it explained that it would be an unpaid trial. No interview questions were asked, no DBS checked, no right to work documents checked. (This is a nursery so they are ultimately letting anyone turn up for "trial cleans" without conducting any background checks which is what happened to my mum)After 1.5 hours of cleaning my mum was asked to go home and wait to hear if she had been successful. Heard nothing the next day until we chased it where Gemma said she had been unsuccessful.Queried whether my mum was going to get paid for her hours, told no. I challenged her as it was never explained at any point it was to be unpaid, Gemma agreed to pay on the condition that my mum brings her documents back so they can "now" check the paperwork before they pay her.To date, my mum has not been paid, although it is for the sake of £12, it is the principle of what LCS are doing. They are again advertising for the same cleaning job at the same nursery. They are exploiting vulnerable people who are desperate for work in these trying times.Despite Gemma previously agreeing that we could email the docs over and my mum would be paid, they have now backtracked and will only pay if my mum physically returns to the nursery with the documentation. LCS are more than welcome to come and check my mums documents at her address but we won't be making an unnecessary trip again due to the mistakes and incompetence of LCS.Have been in touch with managing director, David Lawrence who emailed saying his senior manager is looking into it, this was two weeks ago, have heard nothing since then, he is now ignoring my emails.Astonishing that this company is allowed to continue getting people to do trial cleans without paying them and also luring them to the trial by saying "I'm sure I'd be more than happy to offer you the position) BEFORE conducting any checks/interview questions. Text message attached.Similar to the previous review, I will be making sure I make a full referral to HMRC.EDIT:In reply to LCS reply to my review in which they state they tried calling my mum several times, no calls to date have been received. My mum's documents were not checked at site, this is a complete and utter lie.In relation to your comments about checking DBS, you did not even ask for this document to be bought to the "trial clean" as you can see from the attached screenshot. I also recorded the phone call where Gemma specifically stated that all trial cleans are unpaid, this will be going to HMRC too. You are more than welcome to have a copy too.LCS please stop lying, it is becoming embarrassing.

Having to use the same mop that's covered in urine from cleaning school toilets,then we have to clean the staff room with the same mop absolutely disgusting!! In a school too,cross infection is spread this way we are made to use the same cloths on every toilet every day until the end of the week where they get washed,shocking!!!

Nicola Paget: My company, Nicel Precision recently had one of our units refurbished, this had an enormous amount of building work. This resulted in a large amount of debris & mess that needed professionally cleaning. We called on the services of LCS who were very professional & extremely face with their quotation. They followed up with the work almost immediately. The cleaning services were carried out out of our normal working hours so they didn't inconvience us in any way. I would recommend using The company as they were very reliable & economically fair.

The pricing was better than a previous firm 5 yrs ago and work to a higher standard .I would highly recommend Sterling Cleaning Services to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price .They leave the site clean and tidy and even wash the windows

Called Sterling and they were out to sort within a week.On the day the arrived at 9am sharp and the did an amazing job. We first contacted an alternative Pressure Washing company in Northampton, but after poor customer service skills and a quote never being sent to us we decided it was best to look elsewhere. We're so pleased we did!Anthony arrived for a site visit and offered a quote then and there, and so that sped up the whole process. We wanted our concrete drives, garden paths and patio area cleaned. As they were old and a little neglected, we had quite low expectations.On the day of the work we were greeted by a lovely guy, called Martin. He was polite and respectful of our home. Once he began the work we could not believe how thorough the job was. Martin did not stop, even when it was raining. He even cleaned the downstairs windows afterwards!We have no trouble in recommending Sterling Cleaning for pressure washing, in fact two of our neighbours have had Anthony estimate for their driveways and patios - and they've booked in!
