Horton's Emporium Escape Rooms: what do users think?
Duncan Brown: My first escape room, and it was great. Will look to do more.
Nicola Festa: Fun afternoon for 2
Kieran Jones: Great fun, wizard themed rooms. Will be back!
Demi Chambers: Me and my girlfriend went for valentines and loved it. Vicky was so lovely and welcoming! Would highly recommend, amazing experience and will be revisiting to experience the other rooms :)
elaine miller: A brilliant first Escape Room experience for our son. Some of the clues were deceptively easy, then you had to dig a little deeper and think a bit more laterally to complete the task. We were out well within our 60 minutes. Friendly and welcoming staff. Stunning art deco building.
Kittie Story: An excellent escape room with lovely staff. We had a fantastic time!
Sam Wilson: We came and did the defence of the star amulet room as a family of 4. It was a good activity to do and the two girls thoroughly enjoyed the tasks we had to do. Would definitely try the other rooms and recommend, especially if it’s with children or someone’s first escape room.
Jessica Elam: Brilliant fun! We went with a group of 10 and we were all thoroughly entertained :) thanks for having us!
kelly parry: Great battle of the teams and friendly service. WillDefinitely book again
Carley Fountain: First time experience of an Escape Room. Enjoyed the game and was good fun for our work's Xmas get together. Will be back again!
Sheli Beri: Great day out with the family, really good experience and lots of fun and excitement.
RuhelSSJ4: We had an amazing birthday experience here. Second (different) escape room we have done. Excellent setup and clues are cryptic too as to not spoil anything. Staff polite and helpful. We will be returning for the new rooms.
Kate Joannides: Went to Horton's Emporium for a team building event and it was lots of fun. We were pitted against each other in 2 separate rooms, good mix of puzzles that lent to different skills/logic. Really enjoyable and the staff were very accommodating.
Eddie Bell: Excellent place to visit. I took my 2 eldest sons and we had a great time. Will definitely be trying another one soon. Really impressed. The staff were great and provided help when we were struggling and explained things in an easy to understand way.Definitely a must to try.
Leeanne Hardy: Our team had a great morning looking for clues and cracking codes in the escape rooms! It’s not a scary one, so if you are worried about feeling a little trapped in a scary or gory room this is perfect for you. They were brilliant hosts and very responsive and helpful when booking for a large group. Look forward to doing this again :)
Lisa Hicks: Amazing, really good fun.
Yasmin Argent: It's safe to stay Hortons Emporium did not disappoint. I found it challenging but fun as my previous escape room experiene helped me navigate the room. Nevertheless my escapee partner was new to the idea of Escape Rooms but also enjoyed the challenge. I liked the fact that the room was actually quite plain and so there wasn't much to spoon feed you into knowing the answers. You really had to think outside the box and even if you were on the right lines, you sometimes doubted yourself as it seemed too simple. Definitely a good brain training exercise - especially after this year of much sofa loitering and TV watching. It's so hard to find stuff to do when you're not someone who enjoys drinking or lacks a social circle. This enables two or more people to have fun as well as test knowledge, skills and common sense. Even as only a pair we escaped in time.
Lisa Dunn: Absolutely loved it highly recommend
Steve Rogers: Pretty cool. Kids thought Gina was lovely (loved her outfit)
Krzysztof Wilczewski: Very polite and helpful staff, perfect fun
José Maria Rosmaninho: Good and challenging escape rooms, super nice and helpful staff. Loved how immersive the experience was and the out of the box thinking required to solve them.

Want to Escape...Rushden Escape Rooms: what do users think?
Mark Wheelhouse: An excellent escape room venue, with highly logical and enjoyable puzzles. Their rooms are very well themed and feature a massive variety of interactions (and very few actual padlocks). Both of the hosts that we have met here were very friendly and expertly took our hinting preferences into account when running our rooms. We're definitely going back to try out their other two rooms soon!
Mandi Sandison Patrick: Great experience for my daughters birthday we loved it.
Jennifer Church: Escaped the conspiracy room, great interactive venue, will certainly be back. Plenty of parking at the back of the shop. Staff are great especially Jack what a legend
Susannah Ruscoe: First time at an Escape Room as a family and first time completely for me and my youngest (9ys). We found the Teachers Revenge room to be at a great difficulty level for us all to enjoy and had us busy for the full hour moving from one task to another. A great starter room I'd say and certainly left us feeling positive about trying another as a family in the future.
Bruce Ayling: Lots of fun and well thought out. It was our first escape room and we all enjoyed it.
Clive Just: First time in an escape room and Teacher's Revenge was a great intro. Lovely team running it too.
Ritvars Paija: Worlds ,,best,, booking system in the world. You call, they don't answer your text, they don't reply. Waste of time
Alina Romi: I would really recommend the Christmas room to get you in the festive mood! The room itself is very well made and the puzzles are great for kids and adults. The staff are also very friendly and took the time to brief us beforehand. We'll have to come back and escape Guardians of the Gallery next. Such a fun experience!
Robbie: Great fun and friendly staff too. Really enjoyed the escape room, very interactive with the games
Chris Roberts: These are the best escape rooms we've done this year! Especially enjoyed the Conspiracist for some really tricky puzzles, and the Gallery for a really magical experience and features we've not seen on other escape rooms before. Ruth and Leigha were fantastic hosts, and the whole family had a great time.
Phill Monk: Excellent experience here, great friendly staff and a good variety of challenges. Will be back to try other rooms soon!
Luke Smith: A brilliant experience tonight with my family. All really enjoyed from the moment we arrived.Special thanks to Leah for making the experience fun and welcoming.Couldn't recommend any more highly.
Martin Corbett: We had loads of fun doing the Teacher’s Revenge escape room. Really friendly and helpful staff and the room itself had a good level of challenge. Our party was parents with children aged 14 and 11 and there was something for everyone. We loved the originality of the room. Highly recommended.
Jim Atkinson: Really enjoyed it. It was our first time in an escape room. They're so clever and well written and very enjoyable to try and solve. We missed out on completing 'The teachers revenge' by only 5 mins or so, but it didn't matter as we had fun completing what we could. The time whizzes by quickly as there's just so much to do. The place is easy to find, has plenty of car parking and is opposite Lidl, so you can grab snacks before or afterwards.
Neil A: I had immense fun doing this. Guardians of the Gallery was a lot fun. Thank you for the cake.
Sgt Semtex: Good rooms, highly recommended
Keith Stiller: Grandchild was there for a birthday party. He enjoyed it.You need to try this!
Christopher Wells: Great experience for the first time doing an escape room. Friendly staff. Will definitely return to do other rooms.
Caroline Chase: A fab hour and a bit, hosted by Ruth who gave us all, but especially our younger members plenty of support and encouragement throughout!! Great puzzles & challenges requiring a good variety & breadth of thinking styles. Great fun for all from age 8 to 51. Will definitely be back.
Stephen Saddington: Very good loads of puzzles to solve,Wasn't sure what to expect but found it really good.
Simon Croshaw: Really enjoyed our first ever escape room, Guardian of the Gallery, we didn't complete it in time but that won't stop us trying another room soon.

Trapp'd Wellingborough: what do users think?
beth crocker: Had a brilliant time at the weekend doing the forsaken room, even if i was petrified 😂 Ethan our host was wonderful and made the experience for us - smashing his role. I will definitely be returning to do the other rooms soon:)
Karol Elliott: Great host for Atlantis
David Elliott: Escaped Atlantis and I must say the Poseidon impression was unreal, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Breathtaking. Ethan, the guy watching over us, was super friendly and great all round. He made the experience even better.
Dandy Mae: Went and did "Atlantis". Quite enjoyed it. Made it out in time and were the first ones that day to do so. So it's on the harder end of the scale of escape rooms.
Nicole Wells: An amazing experience and brilliant way to let out some anger! Staff are fantastic especially Ethan who greeted us with a smile and encouraged us all the way through! A true credit to the team.
Jason Haseldine: Great experience, Matt was very helpful and put on some brilliant music. Only criticism is that it'd be nice for more to smash and/or a wider range of weapons, but still well worth a go.
SteveDigs: Pretty average rage room, thought there would be loads to smash and a choice of weapons. Was literally 1 printer, 1 small PC monitor and about 15 glass bottles - and two metal poles to smash stuff with, that was it! For the price it was quite poor. Wouldn’t go to this one again.
Connor Aldridge: I went last Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed reducing a printer into nothing but atoms with a sledgehammer. Cary was very helpful throwing bottles into the air for me to destroy too. I recommend if you've got rage to release - good for the soul.
Marie Fish: Great fun smashing bottles, computer equipment up. Helpful staff.
K P: Did the Atlantis escape room. Wasn't at all impressed. Set in a submarine, but for some reason this meant that the room was dimly lit! We eventually found a torch but the batteries were dead so had to use a phone. No idea why it has to be dark. The tasks did not seem to flow. There were no small tasks for people to focus on so sometimes it was difficult for everyone to be involved, and there were only 4 of us. I would not recommend this room to others.Unfortunately the young person who managed our arrival and game was full of cold and a cough. She may have felt fit to work but she was coughing frequently. Given the recent COVID pandemic and people now with low resistance to health issues I was not impressed that she was permitted to work in a public environment. We felt very vulnerable and area now suffering ourselves. Very thoughtless to have her working in that state.
phoebe kalmar: We did the forsaken escape room today! It’s really good and the host was lovely. And the escape room had elements that we’ve not done in other escape rooms.Would definitely come back and do the other one!
Róisín Whittington: This venue is several hours from home. The day of our original booking I phoned to say we were unlikely to make it for our appointment time because of the volume of traffic en route. The guy on the phone was super friendly and said he'd book us in another day in the future. We'd fully expected they'd just cancel it and not give us a refund. We made our rescheduled appointment today and it was SO MUCH FUN. Elliot clearly loves his job, was really friendly, and made the whole experience infinitely more enjoyable and put us at ease.We went to the rage room but the escape rooms look really elaborate and scary! Really great place and great staff. Check it out!
Edward Poll: Great experience, well worth the money and very very well done!! While family loved it (2 adults, a 14 + 12 year old), will be booking ourselves in for some more rooms very soon.....44:12 and out!!
Nándor Tolvaj: 🇭🇺 Arra számítottunk hogy több dolog lesz amit szétverhetünk, ettől függetlenül a stresszt ígyis sikerült levezetni. Jó móka! 🙂🇬🇧 We expected more things to smash, but regardless, we managed to relieve stress. Good fun! 🙂
Harry: Did the forsaken escape room with my girlfriend. Was absolutely terrifying and very well thought out. Will definitely go again.
Louis Wait: Destroy'd was amazing. Cristina was absolutely fantastic and made the experience perfect. So grateful for how much she helped after we arrived a bit late and was very reassuring after a very stressful journey!!! Thanks Cristina! As for the experience, wow. What a huge amount of fun, I felt like a complete psychopath, and enjoyed replicating the printer destruction scenes in Office Space!
Ionel Nechifor: Enjoyable....experience!!!
Terry Patmore: Had an amazing time, scared the heck out of us 👍🏻
L B: Ok, not the best escape rooms ive done. Sadly way too many padlock puzzles. Could do with more variety to the puzzles, to be honest we got a bit sick of looking for padlock codes
Sophie Pobjoy: Pros:Super fun and friendly staff who took safety seriously - especially our host who had only been there 2 days!Felt super welcome and got to write on the wall afterCons:2 of the 4 head protector balaclavas were wet... I presume with sweat (!) or something from someone else? So didn't feel very covid safe or hygienic putting kn other people's sweaty clothing, as we just had to put the clothing back on the hooks after use, so presume it doesn't get washed between guests... I would expect this with the overalls but not the balaclavas! We only had 2 items (a printer and small tv) and a box of bottles to smash, expecting a choice or an array of items for the 55 pounds spent, especially since only one person can go at a time meaning you only really get one item each - they did have a punch dummy in the room too, but you weren't allowed to hit him with the weapons... fair enough though as our host said, he is a sensitive boy haha!
Charlotte Hickey: So much fun smashing thing up! Getting out all that rage 😅👌staff super friendly 😊
