WadeyHyena16: Just visited The Place to Bee. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is quite relaxed as well. The place is a dog-friendly environment, and even offers a small sweets section for those wanting to Pick and Mix. Just tried the Sponge Cake, it was quite fluffy, and even more scrumptious. (Sadly, I ate it before I could take a picture.)
Marilyn Oram: A Group of 9 Ladies had Afternoon Tea at the Beehive yesterday. As always it was nicely presented good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We all agreed best place in Northampton for Afternoon tea. Value for money. We shall be going again in October. I would like to say the students looked after us very well. Thank you BeeHive.
H W: Called in for lunch today and enjoyed a fluffy jacket potato, oven cooked, not microwaved! With a super fresh side salad, other half enjoyed tuna sandwich, lovely fresh bread. We bought cakes to takeaway. Absolutely amazing value for money, friendly staff, clean and great choice. We enjoyed the sunshine on the picnic tables outside. Highly recommended!

Super friendly, really accommodating and all attendees commented on what a great space it was. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a small training venue.

Lola Minney: I went with a friend & we ordered 2 vegan breakfasts. After waiting for about 30 minutes we asked if they knew where our food was & the ticket had gotten lost, so they hadn’t started making our food. We ended up waiting for about 1hr5mins for our breakfasts, which did not have our additional add-ons.The manager then came to apologise and offered us one donut as compensation. We didn’t feel that was fair & asked for a refund on our food as it was pretty cold and the wait had been incredibly long, but were told that wasn’t an option (which was disappointing as the wait and quality was sub-par). The manager then went on to blame the staff because they were so many new starters, which felt incredibly unprofessional. Disappointing and would not recommend.

Mihaela Iacob: I am surprised to see good reviews for this place. Visit this place yesterday. The waffles were undercooked in the middle, and I have returned them. We were waiting half hour for someone to ask us if we would like to have the waffles replaced. I have to stand up and go to the cashier to enquire about it. I could overhear one of the staff saying "just give her what she wants and finish this". The toilets were filthy. The smell from toilets can be noticed while you are at the table. The staff needs serious customer service training. This place is filthy and they need very good food inspection.

Ander L: Liked the vibe of the place, food was really good, fantastic coffee. Bit of a bittersweet experience with the service though. Ordering was perfect and food came quick. We finished food and drinks, and were hoping to order another coffee and a slice of banana bread. However we waited for 20 minutes and waiter didn’t come, even though we looked at till twice. Ended up walking to the till and paying. No big deal but they need to keep an eye on these details.Despite this small issue, the experience was very good and will definitely return. In fact, I will edit this review and score then with 5 stars if on my next visit they get the service right. Northampton city centre needed a nice coffee shop like this, really happy to see young entrepreneurs with new ideas.

Olivia Phillips: Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was thoroughly impressed! Really friendly service from staff, excellent portion sizes and the food itself was delicious. I had the biscoff pancakes which were very decadent and my partner really enjoyed the eggs benedict with spinach. Overall a lovely experience and atmosphere, will definitely be back again to try more of the menu and the cocktails!Parking: Paid street parking on St Giles Street but note that its change only and doesn't accept card.

Manuela Ahmed: During an unexpected stay in Northampton, Café Track became somewhat our rescue haven whether at breakfast or lunchtime. Sharon and her team made us feel so welcome and were all readily providing us with advice about the local amenities. Jack delighted us every day with his outstanding service and all staff members were friendly beyond expectations. Sharon took time to speak with every guest in the café, whether times were busy or quiet. The food and drinks were lovely but there were no expectations to order more if sitting for any length of time. Vegan and vegetarian options are available at no extra cost and literally everyone is welcome. This is what makes Café Track special: It’s not just a place to drink tea and coffee or enjoy delicious foods – it’s a place where every person matters and can enjoy the added ‘feel good’ factor whether they’re having a good or a bad day. Jennifer Tasker: The staff were welcoming, polite and catered for multiple allergies, which meant everyone in my family could have a drink and cake. Absolutely delicious hand made cakes, with gluten free and vegan options.Vegetarian options: My son is allergic to eggs and he was able to have a cake.Dietary restrictions: I cannot have gluten or lactose and not only did I get a cake, there was a wide choice!

Josephine Masters: Exceptional service, seated straight away, we found a table sat down, the lady waitress came over within a few minutes to take our order. I ordered from the menu and my friend who recommended the place as she had been before. Wanted something she had before that wasn't on the menu. As it was her birthday treat I asked the lady if we could order it.. she said as it was her birthday on this occasion she would take that order. HOW LOVELY AND ACCOMODATING WAS THAT TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER,Bartella went above and beyond especially for me as this was my first visit.We had 2pots of tea for one and the whole bill was just over £15... Reasonable price for an exceptional service. Seriously recommended this place.
