Mario's Ice Cream: what do users think?
sarah celebrations cakes: Was a no show at a residential home even though I booked via phone , no response to emails thereafter either..
Joe Tompkins: Fantastic Service, emailed them on the Saturday with the impending Heatwave looming for the next week enquiring availability of the van to visit us at work. First thing on Monday, received a call back with visits for that day and the Tuesday arranged. Driver was really friendly and the team here loved it, Thank you Marios.
Fausto Nocito: Mario's ice cream is a family run business and the ice cream is exceptionally and hard to find anything tht comes close friendly service, large selection, and great costumer service
Supermans Superstar: Great people, great company, great ice cream
Sergio Esposito: Good people good ice cream
jane horne: I just went to a Mario's van at Abington park and ordered two knickerbocker glories and an Oyster. The knickerbocker glories were on the price list as £2 each. The guy gave us the ice creams and then informed me that they came to £10 !!!!!. Apparently, the knickerbocker glories are £3.50 at the park. They were not worth £3.50. That made the small oyster £3! I am disgusted by this false advertising and if it had been a child ordering who only had a small amount of money, they would have been really embarrassed.
purple- puddle-: Amazing ice cream I love it
Nathan Billis: Brilliant ice-cream, their vans are all over town and they have brilliant ice cream. The factory is hard to find as it is down a back-ally but you can get ice cream, a much needed thing in Northampton
Karen MacLeavy: Best Cherry Brandy lolly ever - Fact :)

The Ice Cream Parlour: what do users think?
Cressi Dave: Wouldn't recommend. Took 10 children in and charged £6 each for a small slice of waffle and a bit of ice cream.
Ali Murray: Staff member acted like I was an inconvenience asking for a coffee. The latte was very milky and could barely taste the coffee anyway.
Junior Linnell: The staff are so polite and the food and lovely
Frazah89: the choice of icecream is unreal. everyone will find a flavour they love
blossom fellows: Lots of choice of flavour, friendly staff
Kayleigh Lewis: Love this place. Especially the vegan chocolate ice cream!
Ron Ron: Went in to order, lady serving wasn't the best with customers, quite rude and moaned when ordered milkshakes. If you don't like making them......take them off your menu it's that simple!
Susan Marshall: A great selection of flavours and better than McDonald's milkshakes.
Daniel Humphrey: A nice selection of ice creams.
Dick Baillie: First class ice cream
Abyss Walker: Lovely little place tucked away at billing. Superb selection of ice cream and drinks.Lady working their was fantastic. Warm friendly welcome and good with my 10 year old daughter.Definitely pop in for a few scoops.Even had DIABETIC ice cream.
Angi Gaffee: The gin sorbets are to die for
Alyson Farnham: This place is NOT open until 4.00pm on a Sunday as it says on the website! We turned up a few minutes after 3.00pm and it was locked up. We asked in one of the nearby shops and the lady said it often closes earlier than stated. Doesn't the owner realise or even care how disappointed young children are and how put out their parents are, making a wasted journey?I should have checked these reviews before going as I see now the same thing happened to someone else.
Samantha Carlyon: I really wish I'd read reviews for this place before visiting. The woman who served us was so offhand she made me feel quite uncomfortable. If she's an employee then more customer service training is required. If she's the owner or manager then it's disgraceful!
Steph Williams: Awesome customer service and also really lovely ice cream. My daughter loved it!
Karen Boden: Website says open until 4pm on Sunday. We drove over especially yesterday to try the ice cream and arrived about 2.30pm and it was shut!
Angela Cameron: Had to wait a good few minutes to be served. The lady behind the counter looked up and saw us then went back to her cleaning. It's good to know the staff keep the place clean but we weren't even acknowledged until she'd finished wiping down.I was shocked when two small tubs of ice cream came to £8!!!! The ice cream itself wasn't bad but for the price I expected a lot better ice cream and definitely a lot better customer service. Maybe the owner/manager could look into providing more staff training?
Rachel Hawkins: The ice cream is lovely - much nicer than most places you can go. You can enjoy the sunshine there or go for a walk. It’s a bit hidden so facing the main building - go right past the car washing and look for red gates.
Jonathan Pearce: Terrible service, curt and rude.
Roy Exton: Just perfect. Lemon cheesecake ice cream is as near perfection as possible. Great flavour, just sweet enough and so so creamy. It melts in the mouth and leaves a clean lemon back taste. Perfection!

Gallone's Ice Cream Parlours: what do users think?
Craig Nutley: Kids loved it
John Mills: Great ice cream , fantastic staff . Only problem is they don’t come up my road. Just think how much you can expand the business if I could purchase tubs every time.Hint - Anne Rd Wellingborough
Nick Robinson: Lovely ice cream parlour, very nice and friendly staff, amazing choice of ice cream and great sundaes!
Dawn Clowes: Lovely place to go for a sweet treat with generous pancakes and waffles with delicious icecream.
Rayner Willnecker: Impressive range of flavours with a delicious taste!
Vanessa Hilton: Fantastic array of icecream flavours, the ones I tasted were lovely. Service was really friendly, we enjoyed getting to know more about the icecream flavours and the family who run it.
Marincas Roxana: Rude serving lady.
Marvee-Lisa Booker: Ice cream here is terrible. If you've ever made ice cream at home or know what actual ice cream is supposed to taste like, you'll be disappointed. We sent the maltesers ice cream back, flavour was fruity, texture was a bit mousse-y. The woman behind the counter didn't seem phased and tucked into the ice cream as if she didn't believe us. She too verified it wasn't great and replaced it, without apology. We asked for vanilla after that as a replacement. Still just artificial tasting ice cream. No better than the £1 tubs of frozen white matter in the supermarket. It was all just a bit lacklustre.
Wendy Norford: Great ice cream parlour with helpful staff, delicious flavours and plenty of options! Fab.
millie clack: It was amazing staff were good food was great recommend going there there was a hair though
Carol Tilley: I grew up eating Gallone's ice cream as a child I would wait in eager anticipation for their ice cream van to appear in my street and I would have one of their cornets. The ice cream parlour is an added bonus with a great range of flavours and you can buy tubs to take home. Gallone's ice cream is the best so go to the parlour and have one yummy 😋
o redden: Its nice, but not great, texture a bit crystallised they lack flavour. definitely not bad, but iv had much better
Adam Grimsdale: Good coffee and great ice cream. I loved this place, staff are smiley and welcoming . I did not feel ripped off in the slightest, everything is priced perfectly and gorgeous, even the little sugar sachets.
Suzanne Evers: I am lactose intolerant and was able to choose from 3 different flavoured ice creams which were all delirious or could have had fruit sorbets
Alex Cameron: Visited a Gallones van in the park. Very disappointed. Not because the prices have increased by a ridiculous amount, but because of the servers. Two teenagers with, it seemed, absolutely no training regarding cleanliness and health. No masks, no hand wash, handling cash and food with no precautions whatsoever. Covid safe? There were not even the most basic health measures in place. Gallone management, you are - or at least were - better than this.
Sharon Smith: Lovely and clean.Great variety of flavours to suit every taste and generation.Staff always friendly.A real indulgence and pleasure.Came home with a few tubs for the freezer too.
Stuart Walton: Kids loved the party, I got to have a quiet ice cream and coffee
Joanna Mee: Zero taste or texture...even their peanut butter flavour was disappointing and that's hard to get wrong!Don't bother. Noel's is the best but even supermarkets own can beat Gallones 😳
Roy Burn: Great shop
Daniel Dawson: Ice cream very nice and topping option very good. But just seemed very messy and bit unloved.
TIM Dwelly: Love taking my kids here for an after school treat. Prepare to overdose on sugar!!!!!

Your Cool: what do users think?
Maisie Brandist: Your Cool served ice cream on our wedding day in July and we couldn’t have asked for better service! Jo made everything seamless, from delivering samples to helping us with the design of our ice cream jars- we couldn’t have asked for anything more! The ice cream was absolutely delicious and our guests have commented on how lovely and friendly Jo was on the day. Highly recommend!
James Scott: I had some ice cream at a friend's wedding reception a few weeks ago, on a very hot day and it was absolutely amazing taste. The lemon meringue flavour was superb.
Sophie Langford: Your Cool came and served ice cream at our wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! The whole service was fantastic, from delivery of a range of samples to try, helping us select flavours and then on the day serving the most delicious ice cream to our guests! They even matched all the branding to our wedding invitations, it was perfect! Thank you so much Jo!!
phil lee: Great ice cream, the sorbet was my favourite!!! 👍

The Magic Bean Emporium: what do users think?
Maggie Chan:
Christopher B: Friendly, reasonable cup of coffee at a reasonable price. Certainly better than the £5 you pay for a warm cup of milky water at the piccolo upstairs.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Edward Green: Great coffee
Lisa Walsh: My preferred coffee is a Flat White because of its size and lack of foam.I paid £3.00 for a takeaway. When it was handed to me I presumed that the cup was well insulated because it didn't need an additional cup holder. The coffee tasted ok but there was at least a cm of foam and it was immediately drinkable, just over warm.I'm so annoyed at so called Baristas who make every coffee exactly the same.I won't be wasting any more money here.
Tracy Lido: Great coffee , very friendly staff . Cakes and pastries , sweet and savoury are always fresh and very tasty …… plus if you are a Harry Potter fan it’s full of goodies . Super comfy and cosy place to enjoy a coffee or grab a coffee for your journey . I highly recommend ☕️🍩
Daniel Newell: Excellent Coffee and great service. Very interesting Harry Potter theme. Would recommend
E: Great themed cafe, but the coffee was so poor I couldn't finish it! Very weak and overpriced for the quality.
Liam Spires: Ordered a flat white, see picture, and a vanilla lattė which had no vanilla.
coffeeguy 66: Visited this unique and charming little coffee shop on the ground floor under the stairs at Northampton Railway Station today. The staff are lovely and the coffee was fantastic, highly recommended !
Zino Dib: It worths the experience, lovely shop, quality products, adorable staff, lot of creativity...best in the town !!
Debi Wilson: Lovely staff. Really helpful and great coffee.
Stefan Sphikas: I was there this morning before going on my train to Coventry. I had a very nice cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly
Long Purple hair: I don’t know whether this place is still open. It is a hidden gem of Northampton. Step into a world of fantasy. It’s so cozy and the detail inside is absolutely delightful. Friendly staff. The food is beautiful. Love how the food was decorated and displayed. I bought cappuccino and had a mozzarella pesto sandwich, it came with salad and crisps. Good portions, very filling. The sandwich displayed in a basket like in red riding hood and an apple. The cafe interior is like escaping into one of Harry Potter books. Floating candles, jack and the beanstalk, Cinderella's shoe, careful you might end up in my novel sign. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Good value for money. I will definitely be coming here again. And there's parking outside. Don't forget to buy a ticket. I always find eating in a big city, can be intimidating and deciding where to go hard. If you love reading, this place is a great place to go and you'll fit in. It's retro and cool. Everyone please make sure you give the Magic Bean Emporium a chance. For someone like me who lives outside Northampton, this place is a real asset to Northampton. Keep up the great work!
Phil Halson: This coffee shop is downstairs at Northampton railway station (AKA Castle station). It was previously located on St Giles Street. At time of my visit it had only just opened in its new location, so expect things to get even better. The coffee is fantastic, and I suspect all the other drinks are too.
alan vobe: First visit today. Friendly, professional and polite service. We had a coffee and tea with a mouth watering piece of heavenly chocolate cake.
Noor Rhijnsburger: Overpriced, bland and soggy toasted sandwich (£5.95 including a bag of crisps we did not ask for). No toilet. We could use the toilet of the kind neighbors (Bread and Butter) and felt sad we didn't just go there for lunch, much better options and cosier.
Thujina Nathan: Harry potter themed cafe. Lots of varied hot and cold drinks such as milkshakes and coffees. They had some nice seasonal options such as pumpkin spice and creme brulee. A bit overpriced for what it is, but still a cute spot for coffee.
Tom Mccreadie: Them is very important for me and hit the nail on the head with that one but the price well let's just say it needs to be looked at £2.45 for a small glass bottle of Coca-Cola ridiculous see what I did there lol
Toni Parfitt: Tasty, well presented food, served in a cosy, magical atmosphere
Amandeep Singh: A lot of focus has gone into the theme, vibes, etc etc. The food and drink, however, are average and very pricey for the quality. They also run out of them pretty quickly and the variety isn’t that great either - which would have been fine if the quality was better. Moreover, our takeaway sandwich had a hair in it.A pretty average experience. Nothing bad, but disappointing given the hype.
H: Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff. If the special is the maple bacon melt, then get it. A pocket sized break from reality, with a mind towards the environment and offers student discount on top.
