Rohit Sasawade: Very nice, neat and clean service apartment with all possible amenities in the flat like washing machine, dish washer, oven, microwave, hob, big TV, etc., situated right near to Northampton city center and located on main road, with a very nice view. Easy to locate and to travel from with easy connectivity to bus stops. The staff was very co-operative and helpful to us, indeed like a family they took care of us. I would specially like to mention Amy who helped us all along from booking till check out. Marcia too helped us quickly with all the requests like providing invoice, letter of accommodation, etc., our entire family is thankful to all the staff. Best of wishes and keep up the good work!!

Amanda Smith: We booked for two nights through Airbnb and were told by Luxuriant Stays we would be sent the key-safe code but had not received this by the time we arrived. Five of us sat outside in our cars while I frantically tried to contact the owner...no response. Airbnb tried too...no response. We were forced to book rooms in a hotel costing us three times what we had spent on the contracted accommodation. Outrageous.

Anne Jones: Have visited several similar Independent Living communities and The Hawthorns is by far the best we've seen. Inclusion of all meals and activities is second to none and makes life so much easier. The accommodation is spacious, spotless and comfortable and the staff are exceptional! So full of praise for The Hawthorns, could go on but would make this a very long entry! Suffice to say we have no hesitation in giving it full marks!

We were lucky enough to use the facilities for a meeting and they went above and beyond our expectations in taking care of our needs for our meeting. Robert lalalal: When incompetence meets greed you get The Hawthorns. A place preoccupied with maximising profits for the upper management at the expense of providing quality services. Get some bloody staff and allow my mother in law to get her meal in time.
Sylvia Yates: I have lived at The Hawthorns Northampton since August 2020 and could not have found a better place to be during lockdown. Whilst so many people outside have been lonely with nobody to care for them, we have been thoroughly spoiled by the wonderful staff here. I can honestly say I have not once been lonely and we have been kept safe from Covid. The Hawthorns is like a 5* hotel with a difference, it is also home, surrounded by an extended family; I know and chat with all the other residents and staff on a daily basis, we really are one big family. I couldn't be happier.

K T: We have been really impressed by all the friendly staff at the Hawthorns. Nothing is too much trouble. They have all helped our mother settle into her new independent life, especially during the difficult time of the covid-19 pandemic. We have felt our mother has been kept very safe by all the procedures put in place.The whole building is spotlessly clean and the rooms are comfortable and warm. Our mother is very lucky to have a balcony where she can sit and have some plants to look after. She enjoys the delicious meals provided and particularly enjoys the cakes with her afternoon tea. We are very envious.If we could give the Hawthorns more than 5 stars, we would. Thank You

The atmosphere at the Hawthorns Northampton retirement home is one of serenity and calm. I've posted some photos here too.
Viv Rees: My Father in Law has decided to move back to the UK from Brussels and we were looking for a great place for him to move to.We are so pleased to have found the Hawthorns and we are looking forward to him moving in.I am sure he will feel that he has the best of both worlds, a lovely apartment in a 5 star hotel. Richard A'Court: Running a man and a van service I get to see a lot of different retirement villages and homes.Today was my first visit to this one and it certainly has a wow factor. Apart from the wide hallways and wheelchair friendly rooms it resembles more a 5 star hotel than a retirement village.Super clean, amazing decor and staff who are very helpful and friendly and who never stop smiling, this has to be one of the best I’ve ever been in.
Katrina Wray: Having just spent a month at The Hawthorns I can't wait to sell our existing home and move in! I can't praise the place highly enough - from the warm smiley welcome as you walk through the door to the restaurant staff to the cleaners, everyone is so lovely and nothing is too much trouble; even our dogs were actively welcomed. The accommodation and amenities are superb, the Wellbeing programme keeps you active and engaged and the food is absolutely first class - it really does feel like you're dining in a top notch eaterie. Having been encouraged to "own your own home" the concept of fully inclusive rental living takes a bit of getting your head around but having experienced the lifestyle I would heartily recommend those heading for an active retirement give it serious consideration. Visit The Hawthorns and "Try before you buy" - you won't regret it.

The staff are welcoming and friendly and always make me feel appreciated as a regular visitor. The residents are a lovely group of people who develop friendships with each other.The residents enjoy the regular activities put on by the Hawthorns, with one regular activity including a weekly strength and balance exercise class in the Hawthorns gym which I have the pleasure of leading. This day was particularly warm day and I had some delicious infused refreshments in the whimsical garden.Attention to detail is paid throughout the whole building, common rooms are beautifully decorated and designed to fit any persons needs. I was in awwww of the 5 star feeling of it all.I would highly recommend The Hawthorns to anyone and Manager David and deputy Manger Adam will go above and beyond to make your stay as magical as you want.
enid kench: I can't rate the Hawthorns high enough. Everything is extremely high quality: the interior decor is like a 5 star hotel, the food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are all friendly, caring and welcoming.
Helen Bates: The Hawthorns is, in one word, stunning. Finished to an exceptionally high standard, I am so impressed with all the tiny extra details that have gone into making this place so perfect for anyone looking for independent retirement living. It's spacious but built with community in mind, especially with the indoor bowls green, cinema and therapy spa. Staff are helpful and friendly (the chef is particularly talented and I'd recommend their chocolate cookies if you're dropping in for a chat). It will be exciting to see it fully open soon!
Lois Aspinall: A stunning and beautiful facility that will make the people that live there very happy. With everything taken care of and beautiful environment to live, the recreation club is fabulous with a beautiful salon and spa. Sheer luxury living!
