Paula Treadwell: PQAMK has been brilliant for my daughter. She has grown in confidence, made new friendships and been inspired to be creative. She loves it.
Paula Rose Marshall: My daughter started PQA about 5 months ago.She was on the waiting list for a year and a half…but it’s worth it she’s having an amazing time. It’s the highlight of her week. About 4 months ago she attended a drama festival and came third place in her second week. In June she was in a show called “One Night Only” in Milton Keynes theatre. If you’re looking for a drama school for your child try PQA first!☺️
Jemma Cantwell: My daughter absolutely loves it here. The staff are brilliant and she has made some amazing friends. Great value for money and they get so much out of them, building confidence and having so much fun along the way

Arts1: what do users think?
S M: When we decided to move from US to UK last year, my 9 year old daughter, Rhea’s number one wish was to join a Musical Theatre class. She was taking voice and dance lessons in the US and said she was ready for a Musical Theatre class and we couldn’t have chosen a better studio than Arts1.The studio is warm and welcoming and the teachers are super sweet, fun and motivating. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful! And the email communications from the school is excellent! My daughter always has a big smile on her face after class! And recently she performed on stage for the first time in UK and she says she had the best time! The rehearsals were thorough, the kids were well chaperoned and they had an amazing time on stage. We could see the sheer joy on the kids faces when they were performing!I can’t wait for Rhea to try out more classes at Arts1 and I would love to join their Adult Street dancing classes soon!
TKDchris C: My daughter loves it here. Great tuition and lovely staff.
Lisa Northeast: If you're looking for adult classes, you need to try Arts 1. Friendly staff and varied and fun lessons, they have space for every ability. Highly recommended, I've been coming for about 7 years and still love it the same as day 1.
Natasha Leonards: I started adult street dance back in November 2021 as I wanted to try something complete different. It is the BEST hour of my week and I come out of the studio at 10am feeling fantastic having worked hard, had some laughs with the rest of the class and learned a few new moves. Its just brilliant and Julie is a fantastic teacher.
Helen Miller: This morning I went to my first adults street dance. It was soo much fun! Everyoneis very friendly and makes you feel relaxed.Learning a dance routine in steps at a pace that suits everyone. My face my have ended up pink and sweaty but it honestly didn't feel like a workout as it's just so much fun. The best kind of exercise.
Betsy Luddington: Critical:Professionalism
Imogen Burn: Arts1 is an amazing school! It offers incredible training in all aspects of musical theatre and everyone is so supportive and encouraging!
Caitlin Moran: I would 100% recommend Arts1 to anyone with a passion for performing or looking to go into the industry. The training you receive here is at such a high level and incredibly well rounded, throughout my time here I have constantly been pushed outside my comfort zone in all areas by my teachers, and because of this I have improved more than I could have imagined! The teachers and students are all so lovely, you always feel like you can go and talk to them if you need to. There is such a positive atmosphere in the building, and everyone conducts themselves very professionally.
Ciara Vangeete: Positive:Professionalism,QualityHighest quality training across all areas and all the teachers are so supportive. Couldn't recommend more!
Lara Paragreen: Arts1 is the perfect establishment to enhance your vocational training in singing, dancing and acting. All staff members and students create such a positive, enjoyable and professional environment 24/7.I have been a part of the Arts1 family for just over a year and have partaken in countless performance opportunities and progressed exponentially in all aspects of my training. Additionally, enrolling in the sixth form has allowed me to work hands on with industry professionals from across all fields of entertainment every single week.I would definitely recommend Arts1 to anyone looking for a professional career within the arts.
Alessia Maxted: Arts1 is an amazing place to train and develop skills in all areas of performing arts. It is a friendly, supportive and inspiring environment to be in. The staff are incredible at supporting you in every way and pushing you to your best abilities, whilst also giving you new opportunities to perform in various showcases and learn from industry professionals in our weekly master classes. Overall would highly recommend Arts1 to anyone wanting to train in the performing arts industry.
Libby B: Arts1 has helped me better my confidence and my skills in performance have improved dramatically in the short time I’ve been a sixth form student here, even the skills, like dance, that I had never previously done before. The staff are so wonderful and supportive, they create such a positive, welcoming environment where nobody feels as if they’re being judged. Would definitely recommend to anyone, it’s an amazing school for young performers which offers a bunch of incredible opportunities, I love it! :)
Alice Kempson: I've been going to arts1 for many years, and now being on the sixth form course I can say with 100% honesty that this school is amazing! The lessons, skills, techniques and disciplines I have learnt are endless and so valuable. We learn from industry professionals weekly and the team of teachers have the best insights and intentions for each student, it really does feel like a big family! Will miss arts1 so much when I leave.
Benjamin Taylor: I didn't realise that my education was allowed to be fun, since joining Arts1 on the acting course, I have found that I couldn't be more wrong. My skill set is expanding with new things I never even thought I'd consider!
Yochabel Asante: Positive:Professionalism,QualityArts1 has such a supportive and exciting atmosphere that encourages students to push to their limit and work hard in every lesson. Teachers and students are always willing to make you a better performer.

Joseph Modebe: I have been a student at arts1 for the past two years now and I can confidently say that I have enjoyed every second of it, the teaching is superb and second to none and outside of the normal timetable we also get to create and learn with industry professionals whom all contribute to our skills all to further and enhance talent and productivity in the industry.I would recommend arts1 to anyone looking to start or enhance their goals in the aspect of performing arts.
Sophie Bright: Arts1 is a very professional establishment with kind, caring staff, and brilliant facilities. Very welcoming to new students and a great safe space.
Macy Spencer: Arts1 is one of the top pre-vocational sixth form school and part time school in the district. It’s highly detailed classes and courses are individually catered to you to allow you to get the absolute most out of your training.Within the sixth form courses, the classes are fully comprehensive and specific to you. Arts1 allows you to learn at your desired pace but also challenges you and pushes you out of your comfort zone, which in time betters you as a performer. Many alumni of Arts1 end up in prestigious higher education institutions to further their career. This is possible because Arts1 give you the tools you need to progress and the full support from the staff team. Some schools don’t offer the amount of classes we receive each day unlike Arts1. One specifically is Monday masterclass. This is where an industry professional comes in to teach us choreography repertoire or review our singing or acting pieces. This is an incredible opportunity to not only learn from some of the industry’s best but also to build your network for the future. If you are considering joining Arts1 wether a sixth form course or the part time school, I highly recommend you do. It is an excellent establishment to start/further your performance career.

Dancebox Juniors: what do users think?
Shrikanth Nagarajan: Carelessness and lack of responsibility when dealing with toddlers. Our 3 year old was left on the side-walk today, locked out on the street with vehicular traffic on a cold morning. While the classes are great, it was disheartening and worrying to see our little one left out on the street by herself. I was parked right opposite to the class and was thankfully walking towards the studio when all this happened. For a paid class, I'd expect some form of basic responsibility from the management/ instructors when leaving the kids with their parents. While the instructor acknowledged the mistake and profusely apologised, this incident has reduced the confidence and reputation we had for this place.
lakshmi sudha: Positive:ProfessionalismMy kid really enjoyed being with her dance friends and having movie night. She is very excited before and after the event too..
Jessica Greengrass: My daughter has attended Dancebox Juniors since she was 2 years old and absolutely loves it. The staff and students are all so welcoming and the events they put on are amazing. They've just held a Christmas Slumber Party where they got to watch a movie all snuggled up with hot chocolate, treats and games. She came out at the end shouting it was the best slumber party ever and can she go to the next one.Every other year they host a full school performance in an actual theatre which celebrates all of the hard work the students and teachers put in. Everyone involved thoroughly loves them and we can't wait for next year's as the last one was cancelled due to Covid. If you have a child who loves to perform, whether it be dancing, singing or acting, then I would strongly recommend you try Dancebox.

Milton Keynes Theatre: what do users think?
Kris Cooper: Fantastic Theatre, spacious seating so it's comfortable to sit and watch the show. Was lovely and clean.
Jørgen Christensen: The bodyguard.. very fine play
Carlos Paños: Ample seats and good view all around. Shame the offer of snacks is limited.
Stephen Foster: Last time I go to this theatre, the queues to get in are so long. Not enough security staff.
Jayne Waller: Excellent place reall enjoyed the play and plenty of leg room.
Matt Pilcher: The best theatre I've been to.
Docile Shiba: The service was pretty slow since there was a significant amount of wait time. However, the overall experience was excellent; the screen is super ultra. Most seats are available for you to choose according to your own preferences
Tracey Harwood: Waited 3 years ( due to Covid ) to see this production of Strictly Ballroom, was really looking forward to it, but what a disappointment! First of all star of the show Kevin Clifton was not performing ( maybe he doesn’t work on bank holidays) and most of the other characters were played by the understudies ( who did quite a good job to be fair) the sound was unclear too. Shame , will go at the start of a week next time especially as these seats were over £100!
D P: Just seen Jack Whitehall, amazing he did not disappoint, hilarious do not miss!! Thank you Jack for a brilliant night.
Ashley Beolens: Watched Stuart Lee, excellent performance by the legend. The seats are limited view as if you were watching a full show you may miss the top corner of the set design (didn't matter for Mr Lee).Quick entry, bag search and ticket scan. Ushers quick at directing you to your seats. Seats comfortable enough. Bar service as quick as you would expect in a busy theatre. No complaints.
Suzanne Croft: Just been to see the Nashville show, it was appalling. A disgrace to country music. They were very unprofessional, hardly sang or knew any songs. Talked about himself mostly.
phillip walsh: Staff very friendly you can see stage very well even in the upper seats...
Chris Mcloughlin: Went here to watch The Nutcracker which was amazing, the dance routines were so well delivered.Only negative was that we could not sit in any of the empty seats as I needed a little more leg roomWent to see the Rock Orchestra which was fantastic. This is a great venue for music productions
Suzanne Russell: Excellent venue. Easy to see the stage, roomy, comfortable seats. Good parking. Also near to restaurants for pre-theatre meal.
Kate “Yellow Submarine” Sankey: Yellow Submarine thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Milton Keynes Theatre to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially those on the door who let our group enter together through a separate door. This really helped our members with sensory issues have a positive start to the day.
Kelly Green: I couldn't have asked for a better night took my daughter to see Charlie and the chocolate factory... all the staff where helpful and lovely and a big thank you to the duty manager for his help tonight much appreciated
Rae Tester: Fantastic. Had a great night out to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Colin Watts: Great Theatre, Great Show.Staff always great
Tracey Brown: Had a great evening watching Charlie n the Chocolate Factory.
Patricia Smith: Good local theatre good variety of shows, comfortable seats, good bars.friendly staff.only down thing icecreams extremely pricey for the size.
Sue B: Great production of Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Just a shame it was so slow moving and the cast so wooden. Great theatre though.
