Steve Gregg Piano & Keyboard Tuition: what do users think?
beerjon1: Steve is teaching me to play the Saxophone, which I am thoroughly enjoying. He is relaxed, patient and totally professional.
Jacqueline Troiano: Very patient tutor. Highly recommend
robert woodcock: Thoroughly nice man, who has been teaching my daughter keyboard/piano for quite a while and is very patient and has great techniques to help and inspire.Steve also does online lessons which helped during lockdown.I would absolutely recommend steve to anyone
Helen Kemp: I can highly recommend Steve as a teacher. He took me from complete beginner on Alto Sax to a high distinction at Grade 8 in 8 years! He is professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and has the patience of a saint with beginners! He is a brilliant musician and his passion is evident in the lessons. The lessons were always well structured and fun with of course homework! He taught me so much and I will always be very grateful for his teaching and inspiration.
Hayley Jenkins: I have been having saxophone lessons with Steve for just over a year and I can’t thank him enough for what he has taught me. From the very first day when I was pretty much a beginner he has been incredibly patient and kind. He never makes me feel silly if I get the notes wrong and always allows me to have a say in what I am learning to play. I have grown in confidence a lot in the last year thanks to his wonderful teaching and I continue to enjoy my lessons very much. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Marlon Campbell: My son has been having piano lessons with Steve for 10 years now. Steve is an extremely supportive teacher. He takes the time to find out what kind of music my son likes and what he'd like to play - a great source of motivation for my son who has been able to successfully sit exams while also playing different genres of music! Steve offers fantastic teaching which I highly recommend!
Charlene Campbell: My son has enjoyed piano lessons with Steve for the past 12 years. Thanks to Steve's great teaching, my son passed his grade 8 exam, being awarded a merit. Not only knowledgeable and talented in his field, Steve is also a patient teacher who is quite flexible in his approach. We've been really happy with his service over the years!
Steven Rayneau: Just had my first ever Saxophone lesson with Steve, didn't really know what to expect as never picked up a Sax before but I was made to feel comfortable and not rushed, was able to really enjoy the lesson. Steve taught me how to hold the instrument correctly and how to produce notes. By the end of the lesson I could even play a basic scale......all down to the teacher! Looking forward to my next lesson with Steve!
Michael Dodson: A fun, informative, and inspiring lesson!I used to play clarinet at school, but I haven’t picked one up for 15 years. Saxophone was always an instrument I wanted to move on to from clarinet, and I finally got round to it this week.Steve was recommended to me for saxophone lessons, and after having my hour lesson with him I know why. I must have learnt more in my first Saxophone lesson with Steve than I did in any 10 Clarinet lessons, and I’m now hooked.I’ve come away from my 1st lesson with an itch to practise as much as I can, and I cannot wait for my next lesson!Cheers Steve, see you next week!

Rhythm Room Music School: what do users think?
Paul Ashby: Excellent. Both myself and my grandaughter had trial lessons and we both had a great time. I can thoroughly recomend the Rhythm Room to anyone looking for lessons. We have since both continued with lessons. I will add that the whole place is spotless, with hand sanitiser available as you go up the stairs. I still stand by my original 5 star review.
Tanaka Masina: Jay the bouncer is a solid guy. Made my night.
Steve S: Re guitar lessons at Rhythm Room. The place is top notch - good kit, clean, well laid out and everything you need to hand. The admin is simple and effective - the calendar reminders are useful.Al is brilliant. He's patient and really seems to get where I am with my playing and where I want to go, and the excellent advice is really putting me on the right path to getting more from my playing.Anyway, just thought it worth giving a bit of feedback and to say thanks to you and your crew!Cheers, Steve
Bic Eccles: Awesome place to learn drums and more about music in general! Kev and Chris are awesome music tutors, as I’m sure the rest of the teachers here also are. I would highly recommend taking lessons here to any aspiring drummer!
Jason Dolton: Great facilities and quality, knowledgeable staff
cindy taylor: Absolutely loved the experience here.
Simon Voris: Amazing - excellent teacher, very patient. Would certainly recommend.
Simon Goodchild: Great local music school. Very accommodating and welcoming, endless patience with me. Never judged on ability or (lack of!) practice between lessons.
Patrizia Paci: My experience at Rhythm Room Music School has been amazing. It is a year and a half that I am learning drums and I am really satisfied with my progresses. Chris is a versatile music teacher and musician who adapts his teaching method to his students' abilities and music preferences. If you are looking for drum lessons, I really advise for Rhythm Room.
Tanya Garrett: The team at Rythmn Room are amazing! Professional, patient and passionate - online lessons and face-to-face lessons both offer good quality tutoring and I would highly recommend them! My son is learning the drums, he was not the most confident to begin with but Chris spoke to him and taught him on his level - he may not be at pro stage yet but he is improving and enjoying his lessons which most important!
Calum Barratt: Rhythm room music school is a welcoming, passionate and caring school, gifting music of all different instruments such as drumming(my forte and my choice of instrument), guitars, keyboard vocals and so much more. I’ve been learning here for nearly 2 years and I have loved every single second of it, my teacher, Chris, really loves his craft, and so do all the other teachers here. They cater to all ages, so you don’t need to worry about being ‘too old’ or ‘too young’ it’s never too late to learn an instrument!! If you’re in the area, and you want to pick up an instrument to carry you through the never ending lockdowns, if you want to go professional or even if you’re bored, I HIGHLY recommend rhythm room. You’ll love every second of it.
Mark Jeffers: It's clear that Chris, Kev and the team at Rhythm Room do this because they absolutely love music, and they get a real kick out of the progress their students make. Over the past few years I've gone from complete novice to learning an incredible number of aspects of drumming, and each lesson keeps pushing you forward to develop further. If you want that extra push to learn music, these guys are one of the best music schools around. It doesn't matter how old you are!
Tim Chick: Chris was great with a total newbie!
dcpears: Our daughter has worked with Chris and found him to be excellent drum teacher. She loves learning to drum at The Rhythm Room and we would recommend them to anyone.
jodie thatcher (jellycats): Been learning drums with the rhythm room for over a year now and couldn’t fault them - very talented and patient teachers who can tailor your lessons to what you want to achieve and have tonnes of experience! If you are wanting to learn an instrument look no further :)
steven mcginn: Fantastic tuition, fabulous teachers. Have learned more in a few lessons with Chris than in a year with another teacher! Brilliant. I would highly recommend the Rhythm Room.
daniel evans: Amazing place, very patient qood equipment and a decent place for beginners.Would recommend if you want to learn drums.
scott maynard Gmail: Rhythm Room is a great place to learn the drums it’s a great set up with two studio practice soundproof rooms, FREE parking round the back. This is something I have always wanted to do but either never had the courage or always ‘too busy’ but I dipped my toe in the water with Groupon Deal in January and after my first lesson I was buzzing, had such a great time I decided to have regular lessons each week , my tutor Chris is very calm and patient with me it’s a really relaxed atmosphere here and I feel that I really get a lot out of coming here.I would highly recommend Rhythm Room , go try it , you are never too old to learn , and you only live once , nothing ventured nothing gained!
Alicja Cassidy: My daughter has been having drum lessons with Chris since Jan 2018. She thoroughly enjoys the lessons and Chris ensures she understands and has the correct material to practice at home. I would highly recommend the Rhythm Room for all levels and ages. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Piet Europe: Since buying a Groupon voucher for the first lessons, I have been learning to play the guitar with the help of my guitar teacher Alistair Wilson at Rhythm Room Music School. For over a year I have been attending weekly lessons and learned to play along with songs and backing tracks.I am now expanding my playing skills through Alistair’s help as he is now also teaching me about guitar chord theory.Alistair uniquely adapts his lessons and advice to my progress, skills and interests. Just tell him what kind of music you want to learn to play: he’ll show you how. A bit of practice every day has really paid off. I have made great progress, starting as a complete novice, getting to grips with a hobby that is great fun and educational. I now really enjoy picking up my guitar to learn new chords and rhythms, playing tunes I really like.Think twice if you want to learn whilst struggling through YouTube videos learning from an impersonal piece of video footage that you need to keep stopping and restarting. Alistair’s personal tuition geared to your needs and skills gets you playing a lot quicker and better and his direct feedback is so much more helpful and satisfying. If you are looking for a new exciting hobby, or improve on your existing guitar playing skills, you must check out their website – don’t forget to look at the tutor’s résumés - and get in touch with Alistair Wilson at Rhythm Room Music School in Bletchley.
Laura McLean: Have been taught by both Chris and Kev and loving it! Been with the drum school for over a year now and it’s been a great experience, the guys are so keen to make sure the learning works for the individual and the environment is relaxed and fun! As an adult just trying to find a new way to de-stress .. .. highly recommended !!P.s. Chris is a saint for putting up with my relentless effing and jeffing... poor guy :-)

Hitting The Wight Note - Piano Tuition with Vanessa Wight: what do users think?
Gareth Lewis (Maths Tuition): I’ve only just started tuition with Vanessa, but as an adult, it’s lovely. I don’t have parents pushing me to get grades, and so we just have fun, but I’m still learning at the same time. I have 45 minute lessons, and for me, that’s enough at the moment; if I had longer, I think I’d struggle to concentrate, and I don’t like sitting down for too long.If you’re nice, give Vanessa a call. She has a wealth of knowledge and resources to share so make the most of it.
Sam Parkes-Brown: I have been having lessons with Vanessa since January this year and it's been so fabulous to have a hobby just for me! I haven't played an instrument since I was a teenager so I was quite nervous about learning a new skill in my 40's! As soon as you meet Vanessa you feel relaxed and at ease. There is no pressure and you go at your own pace. I absolutely love playing the piano and I cannot believe how fast I have learnt. I absolutely recommend Vanessa she is an amazing teacher!
Roseanna Gadd: Excellent piano teacher!! Her teaching style is really constructive, friendly and loads of fun.

Andrew Eales | Pianodao: what do users think?
Christine Richards: Andrew has been teaching me for several years. He has elevated my playing, expanded my musical understanding and mentored me in my own musical career journey. His manner is relaxed, encouraging and non-judgemental. I feel very lucky to have Andrew as my tutor and mentor.
Amanda Nott: Andrew is a gifted pianist and teacher with an ability to inspire and guide pupils of all ages and abilities. I always look forward to my lessons and have benefited from Andrew's wide knowledge of music, his enthusiasm and his patience.
Peter S: A couple of years ago I decided to return to piano lessons after a gap of many years. I had three reasons for doing so. I wanted to get back to something approaching my skills when I took grade 8 at school, I'd also started to play piano for an Alzheimer’s Society "Singing For The Brain" group (a voluntary role) and wanted to do as good a job as possible and I wanted to have a wider range of music available to me to play.I chose Keyquest because of a recommendation from a music teacher who ran my local music store. I'm happy to report that it has been a very good experience and something I'm really glad I decided to do.Since I’m not studying for any exams right now, (although I may look at a performance diploma in a few years time), I have free range to choose the music I want to work on. To date we have covered works by Mozart, Debussy, Chopin, Bach, Gershwin, Schumann and others as well as some personal favourites including Jóhann Jóhannsson, Benny Andersson and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Nothing, it seems, is considered out of range.I feel that I have learnt such a lot since recommencing lessons, In particularI like that Andrew will pick up on small details and won’t allow me to get away with a mediocre performance, but does this in an encouraging (and frequently humourous) way. I can definitely feel that I am making progress and my lessons are always enjoyable, often punctuated with some interesting musical discussions.A lot of music that I would have once considered out of my reach is at least approachable now and Andrew is very good at suggesting techniques to cope with more difficult passages and has good ideas about interpretation of music from different eras.I also enjoy performing in the two concerts each year that Andrew organises for his students. This has given me added confidence for the voluntary work I do and for playing for friends and family.I would recommend Keyquest to anyone who wants to take a serious approach to their playing and is willing to put in the effort. Good results will surely follow.
Robert Simpson: Andrew has been teaching me piano for over a year. He is a really collaborative teacher and clearly one of the best as he teaches other piano teachers too. He is extremely patient, very easy going, and knowledgeable about all manner of musical things! Andrew also teaches my daughter and she thinks he is brilliant as well.
Luke Freeman: I have had lessons with Andrew for just over a year now. His holistic approach to piano tuition is inspirational and supportive. We are working towards an ARSM diploma, he has particularly helped me to slow and settle down into pieces rather than charging in full steam ahead glossing over the details in a panicked fashion. Highly recommended!
Joni Hawkes: Andrew is a truly exceptional piano teacher. He makes the journey of learning inspirational, encouraging and enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking to learn piano whether you're an adult beginner (like me) or an advanced player.

Piano Tuition with Louise: what do users think?
Joanne Snowden: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI can't recommend Louise highly enough! I never thought I would be able to play the piano, because I always thought I never had the talent. But Louise has helped me realise that with hard work and perseverence I can play! Thank you so much Louise!
Ian Green: I would highly recommend Louise if you are looking to learn piano as an adult beginner. As an adult beginner who had no knowlege of the piano or reading sheet music, Louise has made it a very fun and intersting experience, she is very knowlegable, patient, understanding and has an easy to follow curriculum.Even with the disruption from Covid she has made every effort to make sure her students can still continue learning the piano with online lessons that are high quality and are just as good as being in person.
Helen Clough: I highly recommend Louise to any adult learners wishing to learn piano or, like myself, pick it back up again after a long break.I’ve been having weekly lessons during term time for over a year. The structure and routine of having regular lessons and pieces to work on has helped motivate me to practice. Louise is a very good teacher. She gives good advice on technique and practicing, is always encouraging, and helps me to see how much I’ve improved. In 2020, during Covid-times, I was very impressed with the way Louise quickly adapted to teaching via Zoom, and when restrictions eased she provided a safe home environment, with all necessary precautions.
Marie Holmes: I would highly recommend Louise as a piano tutor for adults and children, beginners or more experienced pianists. As an adult beginner, I have been receiving lessons for about 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My teenage daughter also attends lessons to support her GCSE music study and she is at Grade 2 level. Louise is very knowledgeable and supportive as a teacher, and provides lots of technical information as-well as practical skills. I am so glad I took up piano playing and have the support of such a patient, talented tutor.

Frances Thornton Ltd: what do users think?
Shreeta Parrott: Frances has a unique way of teaching children, my 12 year old has been having piano lessons for nearly 5 years and wouldn’t want anyone else teaching her. Frances has taken her from grade 1 to working on grade 5 piano and currently grade 5 theory (during lockdown via Zoom). She is calm and reassuring. Frances believes in her students and never gives up on them and has a strong connection to each one.
Sarah Miles: My son has had saxophone lessons with Frances for a number of years and I can’t recommend her enough. She is so encouraging, supportive and helpful and makes the lessons so much fun and enjoyment.
Cye Green: Frances wholeheartedly deserves my 5* rating. She has been teaching my daughter (now age 13) for over 3 years, and has tirelessly adapted her lessons to suit my daughter's non-conventional way of learning. These lessons have been delivered in person, and more recently via Zoom through the COVID-19 crisis. Without the constant friendship, guidance and encouragement Frances has offered her, my daughter would have given up within the first 6 months. She is now so passionate about her love of music she is planning to pursue a career in music, and I know Frances will be behind her every step of the way. Thank you Frances!
jaya dalal: Frances Thornton has been teaching my children for 4 years. In that time I have always found her full of energy and enthusiasm. She is a fantastic musician with a wealth of knowledge and has a wonderful rapport with her students. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
