Esther Chidowe: Great staff and great food. Fast service and our experience was overall positive.
Bee Grg: We had a lovely date at Akasaka - a hidden gem in MK. The food was very delicious, the best tempura I ever had in the UK - so light and not at all oily. The bibimbap was heavenly. Great customer service and romantic ambience! ❤️ We would 💯 definitely visit again!
Hannah Mahon: This was our second visit to Akasaka for dinner. Last time we shared some sushi but then had main dishes each (I had the chicken katsu curry, which was just ok), and although the mains were fine, the sushi was so so much better, so this time we ordered just sushi for our mains, and it was amazing and exactly what we were hoping for! From the appetisers we ordered salty Edemame and the deep fried chicken thighs. Both were lovely, and there was a good sized portion of each! The thighs were incredibly hot, obviously straight out of the fryer, so so be careful! For mains we chose 4 sushi rolls (you get 6 rolls per portion): prawn tempura, soft shell crab, bulgogi and eel. All were amazing, lovely presentation and great sized rolls! The eel was so lovely and was a very close second favourite of the night (if you’ve never had eel you should try it - it’s just a soft and delicate fish (no skin don’t worry and it doesn’t resemble an eel at all), and the pairing of that with avocado in the roll was really spot on!). The soft shell crab was both of our favourite out of the 4 - the crispy crab inside the roll was such a nice sensation to eat, as most sushi rolls tend to be soft rather than crispy so it was lovely that they managed to keep the soft shell crab crispy! The prawn tempura rolls are really really good, and the bulgogi was a first for us - it’s a Korean bbq style beef, very tiny soft pieces in the roll. Very tasty and a nice change from the other rolls that were all seafood. We found 4 portions of rolls (24 total) was plenty to leave us both very full! They average about £10 per portion, so was roughly £40ish for our mains for 2, which I think is great value for such amazing sushi. The appetisers are cheaper than the sushi rolls, I think our chicken thighs were about £6.50 which is great value, and the edemame were £3.50 ish. So all in we spent just over £50 for 2 for 2 courses, and it was very much worth it.The one ‘complaint’ I have is that the drinks, in my opinion, leave a lot to be desired, which is a shame. For alcoholic drinks there are wines, beers and Saki. But no spirits and no cocktails - I feel like the restaurant would do some good trade if they were able to offer some more interesting and varied drinks. The same goes for no -alcoholic drinks - the choices are water, coke, sprite and orange and apple juice I believe. I would’ve liked a mocktail or something a bit more interesting, but as nothing appealed to either of us, we just had water. Which is fine for the cost, but as we’d checked the menu before coming here, we’d known there wasn’t anything appealing to drink, so we had gone to a nearby cocktail bar for our drinks before the meal, as we were celebrating our anniversary and wanted some interesting cocktails and mocktails (I can’t currently drink alcohol). Which is a shame as I would much rather have given the trade (and money) to Akasaka instead. Again, it wouldn’t put me off returning at all - the sushi here is the star of the show! - but it would be nice to have some Interesting drinks here. The restaurant, once you get inside, is nice and cosy, though I do always find the location surprising as it’s basically inside an office block, but it kind of makes it feel a bit like a well-kept secret location! There are pretty pink blossom trees inside with fairy lights and large ceiling lanterns. It’s definitely more casual, but if you were dressed up for a date night, you wouldn’t feel silly either. (The annoying thing about coming in the main entrance is that you have to pass the restaurant Melis, a Turkish restaurant that clearly does a lot of chargrilling, and the smoke from the grill is pumped out and down onto the pavement area where the door to the building to get to Akasaka is. This is nothing to do with Akasaka, but just walking through that thick smoke in 10 seconds made my hair then smell of the smoke all evening. It’s really very bad and I’m surprised MK council ‘allows’ it rather than it being vented upwards and away from people.)Highly recommended!

Adrian Diemer: I don't know what was going on tonight but I was very disappointed, I couldn't get a drink at all. Ordered after waiting for a waitress for 15mins then after 30 more minutes we settled our bill on the way out. 45 minutes for a drink is unacceptable, my bill had the drink I ordered but didn't receive on it! Akasaka is a monthly treat for us and sadly we won't be coming back.Great atmosphere, prices are reasonable for the service and presentation.(was my previous review)
Maria Aksiantsiuk: We celebrated New Year 2023 at this restaurant and it was amazing! We tried several kinds of soju and sake, had some sushi too. The staff was polite, friendly and quick to serve. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful! If we are in MK again, we’ll defo come back for some Korean dishes☺️Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Seafood, Assorted Sushi, Plum Wine, Dolsot Bibimbap with Prawns, Roll, Mixed Sashimi …More

Rebekah Lawrence: The food was tasty, the service was personable and quick. The food was nice and hot on arrival. The food portions were generous so much so I had a doggey bag to take home. I would revist and was a nice end to a horrid evening at a previous venue. ***please see my other reviews regarding this*** The pricing is reasonable and I would'nt hesitate to revisit if I was in the area again.
Carol Murray: New Karaoke Rooms. Had great afternoon with family. Drinks and snacks delivered to room. Really easy to understand instructions Loads of song choices in multiple languages. Will definitely go again

Артур Филичев: Don’t order from them. Quality of food bad , second they didn’t give any sauce with roll. Soya/wasabi and customer service ignore you. Half of pancakes, 3 peaces of chicken. I mean small slices. And take a lot of money for that and taste really badFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Yoshiko Hanae: Not auntentic Japanese but taste good! Lovely friendly staff♡
S Hussein: Yo Sushi have lost the plot since covid. This small bowl of (Chicken Teriyaki + Rice) came to 10 pounds. Before you used to have a plate of Chicken Teriyaki and a brown of Sushi Rice (not the cheap steamed jasmine rice but sweet vinegary sushi rice produced in Japan for about 6 pounds. Now it is a lump of unfavourable and what seemed burnt chicken smeared in a horrid sauce. The way Yo Sushi is treating customers now is making it head for administration and closing down.
Alistair Aranha: The food was great, especially the firecracker rice. Uses the conveyor system to run food from the kitchen to the table. It was a lovely experience and quite affordable.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Crunchy California Roll …More
Mihail Cosmin: Paid £28 to get a Food poisoning :( both my friend and I ...sorry never again ... London's ones were fine though. Oh also the guy slower than the sloth at the reception that doesn't even clean the tables must be changed too :(
Jeevan Cyriac: Great food. The service could be improved as they seem to be understaffed. The forks and cutleries were not clean and had to ask for replacement which is unacceptable.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tom Wright: Really fast and efficient service with good food.
Dale Woodward: I think for the price it was a little on the expensive side for what it was..I think it was close to £5 for 3 goyoza and it was £7 for a really small portion of chicken noodles. The food was nice and came quickly but finished it off quite quickly and could have had more. Perhaps go for some sharing platters to get a better experience if you are a first time diner

Jonathan Choy: Sushi was well below average. Sashimi looked like it had been hacked off, and rice was cold and dense. Kokorro is much better, fresher and cheaperFood: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Hannibal: What has happened to Yo Sushi?! 😭 this used to be one of my favourite restaurants but having eaten here for the first time in a few years I am SO disappointed.Sushi no longer made fresh,Stupid ordering system,No water tap on the table anymore,No ginger or soy sauce on the tables,Lots of items gone from the menu,Poor service,Poor quality food, you can literally get the samefood out of the Tesco Yo Sushi selection. Two of our dishes didn’t even arrive despite sitting in front of the chefs for half an hour (might I add they were very miserable)The music is played very low in the restaurant. There is 0 atmosphere and a few years ago it was a lively and bubbly environment. When we complained about the food there was no questions asked we got a straight refund. That’s how you know they know that the service and overall experience has gone extremely downhill.Such a shame 😒
Way Yuh Neow: Never seen sushi so thin and small. Low quality ingredients, premium price. Tesco sushi would have been better.
Mark Turner: This was something different. You sit along the bar and your delicious food is delivered by conveyor. So nice.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Ashveen Singh: The first time I came here the hostess literally yelled at us because we seated ourselves as there was no sign saying we needed to be seated and we had waited for 15 minutes for someone to notice us. The second and third time were more recent. The lady at the front is really rude. Online it said they opened at 11 and she told us to come back at 11:30 and when we got back at 11:30 she said don’t order for 10 minutes. She just has the worst attitude. I’m not going back here.

A Sadiq: Went to the restaurant at 2:03 pm and was told they are closed. The website states they close at 2:30pm and so did the sign on the door, however they could not care less and turned us away even thou they were not busy at all. Will definitely not be coming back.

I ordered the pumpkin katsu curry and sweet and chilli chicken rice box and it was under £10 and it was so filling that I couldn’t even finish the regular portion. Josh Walker (Bluebird55): The food and the service was flawless, I sporadically come here but swear by it. If you're new to sushi, this is a good place to start as you can get sushi of all quantities. The seaweed alone is delicious!Vegetarian options: There is a good variety of vegetarian dishes here.Kid-friendliness: Very nice atmosphere.Parking: There is a multistory car park right next to it but there are also car park spaces nearby, most useful of all is that it's about five minutes away from the bus stops.Wheelchair accessibility: This eatery is wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: You will have to ask about dietary restrictions and allergens, etc.
Mikhaela Ambagan: Entered and immediately ACROSS the room shouted very rudely WERE CLOSE, people were still eating inside as it had an hour still left before close, food still on shelves and on counter and most of staff were just lounging and laughing (absolutely no sign that the branch was closing). Honestly it was a big disappointment as we were the first loyal customers who would come weekly before, definitely not how it was before. STAFF should be trained more for customer service specially they are representing a brand with a very respectful culture (for example using the word “please” at the very least). So ill just stick with delivery instead!

Samantha Cheung: The scallops sushi surprised me a lot! I’ve never thought of eating something comparable to the foods I had in Japan! Really fresh & tasty, even without any soy sauce nor wasabi!I like the freshly made udon as well. Chewy and the saltness was just-right.The crispy dumplings with rich fillings are also recommended.Thank you for the friendly and helpful staffs there👍🏻Will definitely return!ありがどうございます❣️
Daniel Vatamanu: Food here is another level. Will come again for sureFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Katsu Curry, Prawn Tempura …More
Carlee McKeating: I was really excited to try this place. It's one of only Japanese restaurants in the area so I thought it would be a nice evening out but it was disappointing. The rice was gluey and mushy, the yakitori was not grilled but fried, the tempura was not crispy or freshly fried. Sashimi bibimbap really needs sesame oil and vinegar or soy or something and we could hear the microwave being used a lot.We hadn't eaten all day so we did eat most of our meal but we were so disappointed in the quality compared to the price. It's too bad because there aren't many other options around.
Helen Mortimer: Great food, celebrating a birthday, so we went all out on the sushi.Fantastic food made fresh to order so expect a wait and order some tempura prawns to eat while you wait.Parking: It's a challenge to find street parking close by, just go round the block twice.
JOAN HUGHES: Take-away (Tofu Teriyaki) probably the worst meal in the world. No stars preferably. Only fit for the bin
Edward Mortimer: We visited the restaurant with friends for a birthday treat.we had sharing platter of each and a main dish ,the was freshly prepared and was excellent .the staff was very courteous and professional.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes California Roll, Seafood Udon Noodle Soup Miso Soup Chicken Gyoza, Bibimbap, Sushi, Salmon Sashimi, Prawn Tempura …More
Nain s: The restaurant has this musky smell. Their soft shell crab looked like they scrapped the bottom of the ocean to put it together. No straws provided.
Timothy Deal: Just wow. I’m admittedly highly critical of a lot of the food I’ve had since relocating to the UK from the States, but I could find no fault in Akasaka Wolverine. Booked for 6:30 PM on a Saturday. Cozy and quiet, looked like a date night for most of us except for the family that sat next to us. Service was prompt at first but I feared it began to lag a bit until we received our first courses. I have to say there was no real discernible order to our food when it arrived. At first I was a bit annoyed, then I realized the chef was preparing our food in such a way as it was fresh. We ordered: spicy tuna roll, salmon roll, yakitori skewers, miso soup, edamame, and beef bulgogi. The hot dishes arrived sizzling hot and full of flavor. The sushi was fresh and lovely, the edamame was, well, edamame. The beef bulgogi came on a bed or rice and pepper slices and was the best I’ve had. One of the best dinners we e had in the past few years. Get the yakitori!!Kid-friendliness: Ample kids menu with inspiration from the main menu.
Nico Jerome: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Sushi, Salmon Sashimi, Chicken Katsu CurryMore
Richard Barker: Akasaka has been our favourite restaurant for many years now and has always been consistant with its quality of food and service. RickParking: Parking outside is limited, but usually available within half a kilometre
Ramilla Watterstone: Nice and decent place. Can't remember the servers name but she was excellent she was from Zimbabwe and very friendly. Food was a major disappointment though we still paid for it and didn't make a fuss fuss as it was closing time and they politely told us they will be closing soon. Would I go back for the food... no. Expensive and poor presentation and flavour. It was just a bunch of food mixed and tossed on a plate
Simon Bell: Great little treasure of a restaurant. Good selection of foods and drink . Perfect for date night or food with friends.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Thomas Chan: Really good Japanese food
Laura Russell: Had a lovely Katsu Curry. All of the staff were so nice.
Aaron Zink: Delicious food, very authentic. Bit pricy, but as a one off worth it.
Michael Television: The sushi here is top notch. You'll leave full up with a starter and a combi meal. Don't though. Try something like the octopus and scallop sashimi. The octopus, tough and fullsome of flavour and texture, then the scallop, which melts in one bite. Two great different types of sashimi. The service is incredible. Need help? You won't wait longer than seconds to be served. One bit of feedback! Add in tipping on your card system. Cash only in this climate might mean people skipping out. We wanted to tip!Parking: I normally park curbside with no issues
Laurence Forrester: Exquisitely prepared and presented food. A great local restaurant.

IKEA Milton Keynes: what do users think?
L & P Rushton: Big store and well stocked. Staff more interested in chatting to each other rather than helping customers.
Dave Griggs: Great lunch experience, shopping was easy and quick
Sheraz Rasool: Great place,
Dave W: All I’d expect from an ikea, plenty of parking and well guided route through the store. Some improvement works ongoing but they were minimal and well concealed. We stopped in the cafe and grabbed a bit of food. First time using the cafe and did find it a little confusing what to do and where to go. But we worked it out. Felt like it’s assumed everybody just knows the drill haha.
Jackson Choy: Good shopping place for household furnitures
Sara C: So don't get me wrong, the place perfert and worth a visit, even if it is just for the meatballs. But blown away by bare face, rudest of one staff member who was good to imply that I couldn't afford a pillow that sold singles around £35, she blessed with that I was with my son that I did share my thoughts on the comment 😡😡😡😡
GAMeR Ryan007: Pre ordered an item online for pick up and service was amazing and process so simple. Pick up point located outside of store and items ready to go on a trolley. Super efficient.
Deborah King: Massive and everything you'd expect
Vijay Banga: Great meal. Store. Fun for kids.
George Pollard: Way better than the Birmingham store, which is kinda lucky, because it's only just down the road from me!
Jane Thomas: Love this IKEA, the past few times I have done collections for various items big and small and the service has always been pain free and really simple!
Shamim H: They need more staff.
Angiras Praveen: Loved it
Michael Weed: Easy to navigate...nice cafeteria with good prices
Kamala Adams: Hadn’t been to the restaurant part in years, I can’t recall how old I was the last time I stepped in there! The vegan meatballs really did not disappoint & were great value – so were the kids’ meals, £1.50 is wonderful for a full meal!
Selin Özacar: Huge range of home furniture.
Paul Clark: Not too busy at the time I visited . Parking was available. Able to checkout quickly.
Abdul Nabi: Nice stor in place but u have to find things very difficult
Danny Boy: I've never been to IKEA until this visit, and I have to say it's an utter nightmare for newbies. When I entered I was given a bag, yet other people were seen with trollies, in front of me was an escalator and to the right was a lift.Naturally I thought trollies use the lift and bags use the escalator. All of a sudden there was nobody there to ask. After finding someone we took the bag and the escalator. Please understand that if you were to visit ARGOS the information of how to shop the store is written at all access points. Not the case at IKEA, we got to the end not knowing where we could buy the bedroom furniture we wanted.Luckily we had photographed labels, however these never married up to the product locations. The woman at the checkout could not care less about her job nor customer service and neither could the man serving food in the restaurant. Our food went cold during the wait to pay for and to collect our drinks from the abundance of non working hot drink machines. When I went back to get my food changed, the man serving exclaimed "Lucky me! I haven't cleared my counter away!"To say the least, it was an utterly unenjoyable and an unforgettable experience.Terrible day for a newcomer and not one that I or my family wish to repeat.
JOHN BURGESS: Nice place for lunch.
Be Valle: You find everything in Ikea

Lamoore: Great set up. There's a bit of a queue to get in, but it moves pretty fast. The service is fantastic: you're offered green tea while ypu wait, friendly, efficient, attentive and poite staff. Nice menu and the food looks and smells good. However, not very tasty. We were a party of 4 and we all ordered something different, and all 4 dishes were tasteless. The chef/ kitchen needs to work on that.
