The Green Elephant Café: what do users think?
billie t: Had high hopes for this café, went with my daughter with the intention of having brunch and ordered drinks the prices were a bit high, I ordered the iced matcha latte which was made with room temperature full fat cows milk, I realise I should have asked for the milk I wanted but I maybe should have been asked? My daughter’s iced caramel latte wasn’t much better with the syrup being put in first and just stayed at bottom of the plastic cup, not sure why they gave her that as we were eating in? Anyway we didn’t chance buying food after that.
Harlette J: Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible here
Mohamed Suleman: Things have changed here and seems to be a lot of confusion. £3.40 for a double espresso???!!! Very strange to pay that much in MK.
Kate Wilson: Sophia was fantastic. She gave us outstanding service and the food was lovely. Smoked salmon avocado on toast...YUM!
Joe Howard: Delicious food and great service. Hidden gem just out the centre
Leen Albeik: As I always look for “Halal” food to eat, I found this café that offers nice substitutes if you don’t want to eat pork and non-Halal food. Tasty food and fresh ingredients. They prepare fresh juices on the spot. Recommend 👍🏻
Fa Fa: Order of my latte was wrong, staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing… I ordered eggs benedict and they were absolutely covered in hollandaise, and when I cut the egg I found it was boiled not poached so not runny but hard. When I showed the egg to the waiting staff she seemed oblivious to what the issue was until I raised that poached eggs should be runny. I then saw her raising it with the chef who was clearly being defensive to her which made me uncomfortable as I could it see it happening through the door.My friend’s pain au chocolate was microwaved to cover staleness. Bananas on display at the smoothie bar were black. We went to Brown’s yesterday and had service with a smile and delicious food and drink.
Courtney Nevin: Staff are very welcoming and friendly, the cafe is very cosy! Perfect size portions for prices.Only negative comment is the sweetners are vile 😅 ruined my tea, don't use them, use the sugar provided.
AJ Craven: Was served by the extremely polite and lovely Pippa. She knew the menu inside and out, knew what was available and took our order quickly. Great service. The food came quickly and looked amazing. It was also delicious, fresh and filling. Great experience, will definetly go back.
Dave Edmonds: This is an excellent place with lovely people and great food and drinks
Lucy G: Absolutely beautiful little cafe that had a real 'community' feel. Lovely menu, delicious drinks and fabulous staff. DEFINITELY recommend 👍🏻
Sam Beale: Great little cafe opposite my hotel, I popped in for a gluten free breakfast which was lovely. Service was excellent too.
Alec: Chilled and relaxing cafe. Serves a good English breakfast. Not exactly value for money. The English breakfast and matcha latte had totaled £14.
Swiggin Panda (Swigg): Very good breakfast very friendly staff really nice space 👌
Jake Wales: Portions are tiny, food was luke warm at best, toast was dry and cold with 1 small cube of butter, no juices at 11:30 in the morning, the classic English breakfast was as far from an English breakfast you could get, and the food took about an hour to come out for 4 plates of food. I honestly do not recommend. It's a hipster wannabe cafe I only ate my food as I paid for it before hand and I was starving. Its a nope outta 5 from me. Also an addition there's a mouldy carrot at the bottom of the drinks fridge.
Nicole Kay: The staff were so rude. I arrived and asked them to remove the dirty plate from a table so I could sit and they said no there are tables outside. It’s February and freezing outside so I left.
Lars Larsson: Best breakfast I’ve had in Milton Keynes. Unassuming decor and aesthetics but they get the important things right.
L DS: A decent affordable healthy breakfast!
Catherine Norman: Very good, fast service, and food was lovely.
Carmel: Really tasty coffee and service and food looked good too.
Jennifer Clarke: Amazing food. Good quality ingredients, well cooked and very accomodating for dairy free and gluten free. Toilets were clean. Staff are friendly.

Ernest Eu: Decent coffee. Not so clear. Staff not well trained. Abit dirty. But a good spot for work n free wifi from mall.
charlotte dance: Love
Klaudia K: Lots of dirty tables, quite long queues yet that is understandable as they make it while you sit and wait. I ordered an Italian Spritz drink from their new menu and was given some form of a peach drink. After telling them it was wrong, they told me it was what I ordered-an Italian Peach. This item doesn’t exist on their menu. After they re-made my drink, it literally looked nothing like the photo. A bit of sparkling water and some form of syrup on the bottom. As well, it just tasted like plain cold sparkling water.
Nikhil Patel: I come here every week and they are generally decent and quick. Today i ordered 2 frapps, served me a frappe with no ice and it was just about chilled and when I questioned them one just gave me a sassy comment and turned their back to me. Alex D: Terrible customer service and poor management. Visited recently and there were 6 members of staff behind the counter to only 2 customers waiting including myself. Had to wait for over 20 minutes before being served as it seemed only one young black lady was serving at a snail’s pace. When I asked the manager (short Italian-looking woman with lots of make up) whether there was anyone else who could help, she rudely snapped that they were “training” when it was visible that only 2 of the team were being “trained”. Here’s hoping the trainees do not adopt her poor manners and lack of customer service skills. Really unnecessary attitude when you visit this place unfortunately. Hopefully head office will pull their finger out - not likely though.

Yusuf: My breakfast experience at Out of Office Coffee House was incredibly frustrating. The most glaring issue was the abysmal waiting time for my food. I understand that cafes can get busy during peak hours, but waiting for over 45 minutes for a simple breakfast order is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and transparency regarding the delay only added to the frustration. When I asked for a refund, I was assured that someone would come to my table, but I had to wait an additional 10 minutes until I approached the counter once again for the staff to remember and process it.Based on my experience, I strongly advise against choosing this cafe for breakfast unless you have half a day to waste.

jill kemp: Great atmosphere, good coffee and food, friendly and efficient service. Thank you !Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available across the menu.
Gabriela Poenaru: the best coffee🤭
Jakub Novotny: Finally there is another specialty coffee shop in Milton Keynes. This place has a slight vibe of one of the big chains, but the coffee is excellent. No free parking around though, so it may be tricky in this type of town.Parking: Only paid council zones are available around, which makes it annoying just to stop on the way and enjoy the coffee.
Bradley Sparkes: Good coffee shop with a nice ambience and quality speciality coffee. The brunch-style menu is also good.
Bruno Silva: Staff were really accommodating, the facilities are really nice and cosy, great atmosphere. The food is really fresh and the tasty. Oh and the waffles are amazing. I will definitely go back for Sunday morning breakfast again.

Giardino 14 Coffee Milton Keynes: what do users think?
Claire marsden: Never work for this company. They discriminate and are so rude towards their staff. They’re very unhygienic and do not wash or sterilise equipment properly.I got dismissed unfairly because I suffer with IBD which they were aware off and also got discriminated because of it.The owner under the name Syed does not know how to do his job, neither does Mariyah which was the one who discriminated against me.They also don’t train their staff members. If you get offered a role from this terrible company, don’t take it and be well aware of what you buy because they had staff members selling out of date food. The pastries sit out for hours and they don’t cook fresh ones throughout the day. And they do not probe the hot food either so be real careful, you could end up seriously Ill.
Docile Shiba: The staff were lovely; the price is as you would have expected for a train station cafe. Best location in the middle of platform 3 and 4!
Jonathan Lau: We didn’t realize we were out of water until my daughter said she wanted water and told me we were out of water after drinking from her water bottle. I didn’t want to walk back to the shops out front (as it would mean having to drag an extremely tired 6 year old girl with me), so we entered this place to purchase a bottle of water. £2 for a 500mL bottle of still water. Yikes. Converting to Canadian dollars, that’s $3.20. Costco in Canada sells bottled water in their vending machines for 25 cents. $3.20 is quite the profit on a bottle of water. Anyway, better to buy the water as I didn’t want to drag around an extremely tired AND thirsty 6 year old girl.
Florina Mihaila: Terrible pastries. I can not understand why do they still sell at full price when they products are no longer fresh.
Tom Gaunt: Welcomed by a very friendly and accommodating member of staff this morning. Excellent experience.
Dave Bareham: Lovely service and ni e warm pastries which I have had to give up because I'm trying to lose weight !
Alizay Bano: My favourite coffee shop to go to whilst waiting for train, Friendly staff and clean environment, Best for on the go food and drinks, Coffees are well made and sandwiches to other items all are really fresh and nice, Lovely staff, 100% deserve 5 stars :)
Iffat Zehra: Using their services for many years .If you are looking for a good coffee on your way to work or back home this is the place at Milton Keynes station to grab your coffee and enjoy every sip .Enough verity of good quality snacks and drinks .Staff is very friendly and efficient and value every customer .They run a loyalty scheme to save you some money as well .
Ismaa x: I visited this shop whilst waiting for my train to grab a quick bite to eat, they had a large variety of foods to choose from including delicious pastries. The service was amazing and the staff were very lovely to talk to, there were even places for me to sit inside whilst i was eating and waiting for my train. I really do recommend popping in to this lovely store whenever your waiting for your train!!!!
Fatima Murtaza: There are 3 shops in central milton keynes train station between platforms 1&2 , 3&4 , 5&6. Friendly and helpful staff very efficient in their work and nice to talk to. I was served by sonia who was very rapid in her serving delivering quick and with quality customer service. Variety of drinks, hot drinks, crisps and much more. A little pricey compared to other stores but totally worth it! However, their sizes in hot drinks between regular and large only hold a 20p difference!!! They also sell differnt pasties and crossionts which are delicious
zakaria musa: The coffee is excellent, lovely clean, neat and tidy store with the most helpful and hard working staff delivering outstanding customer service, friendly and very considerate of your time whilst waiting for train and lovely to talk to especially Sonia. I would definitely recommend to everyone!
Gary MacLeod: Good coffee whilst waiting for my train!
Philip Hughes: Coffee shop next to platform 3. Sells sandwiches, drinks, pastries, snacks and of course coffee. A few stools to sit inside. Over priced, but what do you expect, it's on the station platform!
Anne: Horrible and rude staff called Imran at Milton Keynes Giardino coffee14 on plat form 6. Giardino will continue loosing good and loyal customers with someone like Imran working for them. He lacks good customer service.
Adnan Ihsan: Friendly staff, excellent coffee
stephen lewington: Expensive and cold drinks are warm
Michael Wood: Friendly and fast, delicious coffee.
Ali Mehdi: Nice Coffee
Saba Kazmi: Syeda sabaLovely coffeeAnd great very friendly staff.

The food was pleasant and well presented, the prices are OK. I only had the tea so can't comment on the coffee but I enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland teapot as a nice touch.Parking: lots of parking right outside (of course, it's Milton Keynes - there's more parking than people)

It tasted bad not just flavourless and the English breakfast had a sausage that was definitely not a usual pork sausage. We ordered beans on the side of the bread for my little one and they poured it all over the toast. To top it up the place was tiny with minimal space per table, with fruit flies flying around and still very overpriced. We will not go back there.

Farrah: Usual order is either a iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso or white mocha thru drive thru, and they always make it right. Some Starbucks don’t consistently make the iced brown sugar right

Mariq Tomcheva: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Robert Beevor: How can a starbucks get a standard drink from the menu taste so different and so disgusting! The customer service experience was shocking, no greeting.Food was good but I suppose they dont actually make that.
Vik: We got served by a chap called Logan earlier today whilst using the drive through. Worst customer service we’ve ever had at Starbucks’s. Didn’t say hello, thank you, bye. Nothing. It’s almost as if he was trying to make a point of being rude and not caring on purpose. Poor.
John Edmonds: Good sized branch stands alone within a retail park offers everything Starbucks does across all purchasing options.Despite this it always seems popular and if really busy things go into meltdown leaving you waiting a while if you walk in.Tip-use the app and order ahead
talal yusuf: I don’t understand how there could be a 20 minute wait on instore order for a standard beverage order. Which 10 people in store and out if this number of staff there about 3 to 4 people are are actually doing nothing but watching other staff member work and serve. And the best part of it is that they don’t even get a basic order correct which makes you think senior staff aren’t training the junior staff correctly.

Carla B: Very poor overall. More often than not they get our order wrong. Staff treat the work place like a youth club, stand around chatting and being immature. Got to the window to pay and the guy serving us didn’t even acknowledge us just shoved the card reader over to us and gave us our drinks whilst busy chatting away to colleagues. Even when they do get the order correct, the drinks taste vile. Will be going to the new Dunstable store more often as they’re the complete opposite, can’t compliment them enough, amazing staff.
AIkemystic: No WiFi, no toilet!!!One of the worst Starbucks I've been to
Gabriel Tenorio: Perfect location for trips joing on to the A5.Drive through is very handy when you have a full car plus toddler!Vegetarian options: Plenty on menu, plus milk substitute options.Kid-friendliness: Drive through!Parking: Plenty of other shops in vecinety.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor, easy access.

Carlo's Coffee Bar: what do users think?
Brett Parry: Coffee was great, staff were phenomenal and the professional pride put into the work was incredible. Just wish it was local to meFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Gabriel Tenorio: Fantastic lunchtime coffee stop, a hidden gem! Great coffee 😎 and delicious food!Vegetarian options: Options on menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to the shop.
Hannah: The best hot chocolate I’ve had for a while. So chocolatey and creamy. I’ve heard amazing things about the food too.
Vladimir Ivanchenko: Cozy modern coffee shop in central Milton Keynes. Great for grabbing your morning coffee and some breakfast. Stopped here on my way to work when I was in town and the friendly staff easily put a smile on my face for the rest of the morning with their friendly approach and great service.
Ben: Fairly typical coffee, with friendly service.
David Jiffur: Been shopping from Carol's coffee bar almost exclusively for the last two years, and not once have I had a bad experience. I'd happily recommend to any coffee fans in the Milton Keynes area
dextervaughan: 100% The best coffee around… I’ve never had a bad coffee from here A+
Oliver Plumb: Arrived early, croissants were fresh out the oven, Americano was perfect drinking temperature and bean was nicely extracted. Would return again.
James Breslaw: Great coffee and bacon ciabatta rolls for breakfast
Stewart Fraser Maxwell Brownlie: Lovely chai latte this morning. First visit... As the saying goes... "I'll be back"...!!
Arunkumar Gunasekaran: Very good hot chocolate
Jake -: Visited here last week with my girlfriend.Very nice independent cafe that we had no ideas was here. I asked the staff how long it had been open, expecting an answer of less than a year but no! They've been here 3 years! They have a small but well stocked selection of cakes and savouries. We had the croissants filled with cheese. Accompanied with an iced coffee, tea and banana loaf. All of this seemed freshly made and was very nice, it marked around £12 but for an independent place I'm happy to pay that much, which may be similar at chain coffee houses? The staff were chatty and genuinely friendly and polite, will be coming back!I think they should do some more advertising, either Internet, local radio or TV as I say I had no idea it was here and wouldn't if I didn't subscribe to a blog called whats the squeeze (mk based)
Wayne Orozco: The sandwich is great and the horseradish demands your attention, making this a sandwich not for the faint of heart. I also upgraded my fries to the dirty fries, $3 well spent. The house made Sriracha ketchup compliments them nicely. I washed down my entree with two Russian River Brewing beers: Pliney the Elder (almost always on tap her) and their Sanctification.
James: Really good prices and quality of food and drink
Ken J: Lovely staff and superb coffee
Timothy Taylor: Met an old friend and had a great coffee. Really nice lady behind the counter T and her son.Visit again soon Tim.T
Nicholas Fox: Nice staff and very consistent good quality coffee. Food is also always fresh and tasty and very good value for money.
James Simpson: Great coffee, lovely staff. Food is good too!
Ben Woolley: Best coffee in town. Very friendly staff. Take a trip you won’t be disappointed.
john assenhiem: Great coffee and food and really friendly staff, wish they had another shop in the main shopping area.
Joe Quinn: Best coffee in Milton Keynes. Definitely worth walking past other coffee shops for a Carlos.

Free parking, lots of seating. Not that obvious from the street or car park but trust your navigation system and follow the wonderful aromas of nosh and coffee.I must mention I'm only able to visit about twice a year but Sharon has an amazing memory and remembers me !!! Sharon has a great way of greeting you and making you feel welcome...... and letting you know whats what on the delicious treats she has that day.
