Magic Kingdom Comics: what do users think?
Richard neal: No comics !!!
James Carrington: Helpful staff, excellent selection of games and a 10% discount when spending £50.
Christian: Love this shop. There is such a great choice on comics, board games, card packs, figures and more. It's an Aladdin's cave of discovery. My son and I are comic buffs and this place is so well catered for. There is a real depth of knowledge and support from the team, they are really helpful. We have a standing order for my son's favourite comic that we swing by and collect every few weeks, that way he doesn't miss an issue.Watch out for short opening hours on the Saturday, if you fancy a weekend visit.Great place, highly recommended
Eve: This place has so much to see, lots of games ,comics , figurines etc...... not only that you can have a snack here a hot or cold drink, and if you have time you can sit and play one of the many board games they have available. This was a great find, will definitely return and recommend. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Stewart MacArthur: Perhaps the greatest shop ever for our slightly geeky family. More warhammer than games workshop, vast selection of excellent board games, comic books and a cafe. Perfect. We were really surprised to find so much, each room had more wonders to find. Our kids (12+) loved looking though the boxes and boxes of comics and graphic novels and exlororing all the board games and expansion packs for games we already have. If you are are into tabletop games, board games, card games, comic books and like coffee it is well worth a visit. We will be back soon.
T: Amazing selection
Valerie Kerr: It's a magical place and a stunning one and has great mugs and figures and comics!
David Young: Great place. A must visit
John Thaxter: In my search for comics to get the little one started staff were tremendously helpful. Well stocked with modern stuff. Worth a visit. I reccomend.
Widgicus Greybane: You can has the books and an toy with some game if you like them
Lisa Clarkson: Great place to play boardgames. Staff were informative, helpful and attentive. Will definitely go back.
James Bacon: This is 3 shops in one. A massively well stocked game shop, a number of rooms from a large open area for gaming and a disappointing comic shop. You’d expect a more dynamic approach but it’s lacking for comics. The Graphic novels are poorly organised, a meagre selection of new comics and marvel back issues were inaccessible due to gamers playing. I could or should have just politely asked the gamers if I could check the couple of boxes I was after, everyone seemed cool but mistakenly asked a staffer - too busy - end of.
Phil T: Played games for 2h30 with our 5 and 7 y/os today. We all had a great time. Will definitely go again!
Ina Stoycheva: Super fun and amazing place for playing boardgames. The service is very friendly and helpful. The community is also very nice and newbie friendly.
Donatas Braskus: Great place for comics lover.
justin zilles: A great selection in comics & gifts, this little shop is a hidden gem in Milton Keynes and the staff are friendly and helpful 👍👍
Adam Empson: My favourite place on the planet wish I could work there it would be my dream I'm a huge collector I can tell u anything
Mansi Verma: Friendly people who recommend games to play and teach you how. Lots of options for eating and drinking and everything is reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
outer haven: Really cool shop and the people working there are friendly and helpful
Lycasis Gaming: Great place, friendly staff really know their product.
Dave Trendell: Great place to pick up your weekly order, friendly staff always willing to go out of their way to get you anything your after. Recommended!

Geek Retreat Bedford: what do users think?
Lewis Baylis: A very unique place. Me and my friends had alot of fun
Nathan Miley: Have been waiting for opening ever since hearing about it. Great place to bring the children - brought my son to learn how to play the Pokemon TCG. You'll find fellow minded collectors and gamers and a whole bunch more here. Good range of food and drink available too as you suddenly realise 4 hours have passed by like I did!!!
Honest reviews: My favourite place in Bedford.I love coming here, if I can I try to come most days. The staff are more than just staff they become your friends, and your chosen family. I love them all and adore every single person that works there. They do an amazing job in creating a safe space for everyone who visits.
Nitin Kalra: This place could do better with customer service, especially if someone is new and exploring
Steve Maynard: Friendly, good basic food. Bring the family
Damian Davidson: It is often challenging to find something that occupies little small people, especially when you have more than one and they are polar opposites in what they like (autism and ADHD playing a bit of a role in that), so when I stumble upon a place that they both fall in love with, then I have a healthy respect for it to.This is not my first visit to Geek Retreat in Bedford, but I did want to make sure that I wasn't imagining the quality of the visit, in both cases brilliant! The staff are all patient and kind, the layout is simple and allows easy interactions and (although beyond the proprietor/operator's control), the customers that come in are also brilliant (which must speak volumes in regards to how the place sells itself). There are games for you to try (so caters for a breadth of personalities and tastes), lots of funky stuff for sale and even have food and drink so you can be fed/watered/entertained for as long as your small people are!I hope the Geek Retreat excels as the concept is spot on 🙂
Aazim Ashroff: Went with my wife and mom. Very chill and cosy place
cats6603: Bit pricey but Love this shop
Oletha Lai: Poor selection of games to play, mostly battered, multiple copies of Monopoly.
William Robbins: The atmosphere was great and the staff are very friendly there is lots of games to play and the food was delicious
Al Sampo: Better experience, the staff have changed since the last time I went in last year or so, the person there was very warm and welcoming and I felt comfortable
Chris Whyatt: Can get very busy at the weekend. Check the facebook page for different themed events.Saturday 10-2pm typically is Pokémon time, where an army of kids trade and buy cards. They have a good selection of drinks and custom milkshakes. Aswell as food menu items.Good for kids and adults of all ages.Ps: they also have a free board game area with a wide selection of board games to play for free. (But also buy).
Matthew Allen: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Busy place with lots of things going on. They have a limited selection of boardgames that you can play for free! I saw people playing video games, Warhammer 40k, pokemon, and blood on the clock tower. Loud location since it is close to mall entrance.
arbrocka tyrrell: Had a bit of a problem with the food order but I think that was based on them being short staffed as a member of staff was at the expo at the time. Overall though the name really is perfect for what it offers. So many people coming and going for various games of different IP'S. The place was so welcoming and you could feel everyone was there as a family and no judgement who you were. Some nice board games to play for free in which we spent hours playing. The coffee based drinks there were amazing. Overall I would recommend anybody who enjoys board game activities to give it a go.
strachan darmanin: Amazing service perfect place for a nerd/geek/introvert to go to
Joanna Frank: 💛💜 now our geek retreat has closed down in Milton Keynes!! 😪 I visited the one in Bedford and it was awesome!! They had my favourite board game which is Disney colour brain 🧠🌈 I did enjoy myself and I will be returning to other geek retreats 💜💛💜💛💜💛
Tim Bryan: Cool place good vibes
Sharu A: Its was alright area to see your friends 🙂 and doing a meet up after school or something but its a fun place for place for play smash bros on their TV although you can do the same at your house but it 😉 OK that all I can say.
James Machin: Always super friendly and knowledgeable.
Louisa Bobel: the stuff are really friendly and we can have a great laugh they are like family to us 😊
Chris Hookham: I wish we had places like this when I was a kid.If you or your kids are fans of tabletop games, boardgames, card games and fantasy/scifi models then this is right up your strassê.The staff are very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and there is a cafe serving so-so priced but very generously portioned, kid friendly food and drink.Recommended for a quiet afternoon.

Geek Retreat Northampton: what do users think?
lynn H: Very nice and friendly staffs. This places is fantastic, so many games to play, would like to come all the time!
Daniel Smith: Staff are lovely however owners are rude and offer poor customer service, food sometimes comes out feeling cold when owners make it.
Chase Tindle: It's so fun but I wish it was bigger and had more pokemon and digimon cards
Lordi Song (Dr Sin): Got an awesome piece for my collection. Staff were very friendly.
Dominic Daly: Friendly staff inside, unfortunately as they don't do much Magic: The Gathering it's not ideal for me (I'm assuming Northampton doesn't have a big MTG scene). Definitely recommend if you're into Yu-Gi-Oh! or Pokemon as they do lots of events and competitions around those.
SpaceMan Dan: Great friendly gaming food bit pricy
Becky Fordham: Absolutely fantastic place with amazing staff. Love it and would recommend to to anyone thinking of going.
O A: Great place to geek out staff are warm and friendly
Sara Calitri: Gaming night is fab 👌
Dr Flug And Miss Heed: So awesome, I might come here to play DND one day, and the place is cool where you can just Geek Out about everything! Thanks Geek Retreat!
Iba: Came in for our first visit and WOW! We were just supposed to grab a coffee then restaurant for dinner. We had way too much fun and decided screw the restaurant, let's have our food here and stay for the rest of the evening! Which we did and it was great. Service was very good and we were well taken care of and we all enjoyed our food too! I really recommend bringing your friends here for a great time. Also if you are out for a spin of Pokemon GO, there is no better place in town! You are perfectly placed to reach 2 gyms and many stops! Will be coming here for community days from now on.
Lord Ransom: Great place. Staff are really lovely and my boy of 6 feels really welcome here. Milkshakes are really tasty.
Tez Shaw: Excellent geeky retreat, staff helpful but can be a wait at times due to being busy, enjoy visiting to get my pokemon fix 😊 pulled/purchased some great cards here that were fantastic quality both mint/nm
Natalie Read: I love this place! Great place to have a chill out and be surrounded by some amazing things. I'm not a gamer, but it is so welcoming it doesn't matter! Check out the Mocha!
Daniel West: An absolutely charming little place! You can order food from the bar with an impressive selection of milkshakes whilst playing free board games or video games in a relaxed and comfortable venue. There are so many things to do here that cater for adults and children alike, the setting really promotes a guilt free environment which people of all ages will enjoy. For parents and children who need a place to spend quality time together this is a great choice to create memories. I encourage people to not only visit but spend money in here as places like this need stay alive as it offers something very different in comparison to other businesses within the town.
Duncan Dawes: Great shop for all DC Marvel SW fans
Clive Durston: Not for everyone but for those interested a lovely place to while away some time following a niche interest with food and drink too! The staff are amazingly well informed and enthusiastic making my son feel very welcome. So much so, I think he found his spiritual home.
Gavin Marshall: Great place to bring your family. From board games to dungeon and dragons everyone can sit down and join in with the fun. Never played, don't worry the staff will help you and even organise start up games for the beginner.Equally great to just to come in and have a coffee lunch. A nice menu range to suit most needs.
Ahmed Basil: Great for card hobby enthusiasts. Good entry prices for competitions.
Chrissy Watkins: At first my opinion in this geek retreat was pretty low, as a comic book collector I expected more comic books to be available to read, but I visited not long after they opened. I went back last weekend and I have completely changed my mind, there was a bunch of youngsters having a Pokémon battle!!! I LOVED seeing that and they were supported by a member of staff throughout. Great selection of stock, the comic book collection has grown, not to my personal liking but that's not an expectation! You guys are doing great! The staff know what they are doing and not just people who need a job they all love what they sell and that makes it much more pleasant. Not tried the food yet as never had the time but will certainly be visiting again soon!
The Poltical One: Found some cards I wanted at a reasonable price. The staff member I spoke to was really helpful and we talked for a while. He was a really nice guy he packaged up my cards for me too. Great touch
