Dancebox Studios & Theatre Works: what do users think?
Shrikanth Nagarajan: Carelessness and lack of responsibility when dealing with toddlers. Our 3 year old was left on the side-walk today, locked out on the street with vehicular traffic on a cold morning. While the classes are great, it was disheartening and worrying to see our little one left out on the street by herself. I was parked right opposite to the class and was thankfully walking towards the studio when all this happened. For a paid class, I'd expect some form of basic responsibility from the management/ instructors when leaving the kids with their parents. While the instructor acknowledged the mistake and profusely apologised, this incident has reduced the confidence and reputation we had for this place.
shraddha Kabra: We joined Dancebox family during lockdown for my daughter. I was very impressed with the way teacher handled online sessions and how structured each class was…Same goes for when we started visiting studio for lessons. I have seen how confident my daughter has become and how she got ready to face the stage during yearly shows. My son has also joined now .. nothing stops him coming back every week even though he is the only boy in his class .. he loves his commercial dance moves …Highly recommended if your kids love drama, singing and dancing
Shannon Leonard-Day: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Stefan Petcu: Very profesional and friendly! My daughter was thriled! We will book in for more!
Chris Taylor: Classically entertaining
Altieri Douglas Domus: DanceBox is probably one of the best things that happened to Milton Keynes in years. Love love love
Sharona Edwards: I went for a trial session with my daughter and enjoyed it! I filled out the paper work and was told to expect an email confirming the class my daughter would be attending, i did not receive this email and i phoned up and they said they would get back to me and never did.. They even took the money out of my bank for sessions that my daughter never attended! I do not recommended this place to anyone!
Janine Davila: Is like a big family and very profetional.
C L: Daughter was invited to a 5th birthday party here and really had lots of fun

Arts1: what do users think?
S M: When we decided to move from US to UK last year, my 9 year old daughter, Rhea’s number one wish was to join a Musical Theatre class. She was taking voice and dance lessons in the US and said she was ready for a Musical Theatre class and we couldn’t have chosen a better studio than Arts1.The studio is warm and welcoming and the teachers are super sweet, fun and motivating. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful! And the email communications from the school is excellent! My daughter always has a big smile on her face after class! And recently she performed on stage for the first time in UK and she says she had the best time! The rehearsals were thorough, the kids were well chaperoned and they had an amazing time on stage. We could see the sheer joy on the kids faces when they were performing!I can’t wait for Rhea to try out more classes at Arts1 and I would love to join their Adult Street dancing classes soon!
TKDchris C: My daughter loves it here. Great tuition and lovely staff.
Lisa Northeast: If you're looking for adult classes, you need to try Arts 1. Friendly staff and varied and fun lessons, they have space for every ability. Highly recommended, I've been coming for about 7 years and still love it the same as day 1.
Natasha Leonards: I started adult street dance back in November 2021 as I wanted to try something complete different. It is the BEST hour of my week and I come out of the studio at 10am feeling fantastic having worked hard, had some laughs with the rest of the class and learned a few new moves. Its just brilliant and Julie is a fantastic teacher.
Helen Miller: This morning I went to my first adults street dance. It was soo much fun! Everyoneis very friendly and makes you feel relaxed.Learning a dance routine in steps at a pace that suits everyone. My face my have ended up pink and sweaty but it honestly didn't feel like a workout as it's just so much fun. The best kind of exercise.
Betsy Luddington: Critical:Professionalism
Imogen Burn: Arts1 is an amazing school! It offers incredible training in all aspects of musical theatre and everyone is so supportive and encouraging!
Caitlin Moran: I would 100% recommend Arts1 to anyone with a passion for performing or looking to go into the industry. The training you receive here is at such a high level and incredibly well rounded, throughout my time here I have constantly been pushed outside my comfort zone in all areas by my teachers, and because of this I have improved more than I could have imagined! The teachers and students are all so lovely, you always feel like you can go and talk to them if you need to. There is such a positive atmosphere in the building, and everyone conducts themselves very professionally.
Ciara Vangeete: Positive:Professionalism,QualityHighest quality training across all areas and all the teachers are so supportive. Couldn't recommend more!
Lara Paragreen: Arts1 is the perfect establishment to enhance your vocational training in singing, dancing and acting. All staff members and students create such a positive, enjoyable and professional environment 24/7.I have been a part of the Arts1 family for just over a year and have partaken in countless performance opportunities and progressed exponentially in all aspects of my training. Additionally, enrolling in the sixth form has allowed me to work hands on with industry professionals from across all fields of entertainment every single week.I would definitely recommend Arts1 to anyone looking for a professional career within the arts.
Alessia Maxted: Arts1 is an amazing place to train and develop skills in all areas of performing arts. It is a friendly, supportive and inspiring environment to be in. The staff are incredible at supporting you in every way and pushing you to your best abilities, whilst also giving you new opportunities to perform in various showcases and learn from industry professionals in our weekly master classes. Overall would highly recommend Arts1 to anyone wanting to train in the performing arts industry.
Libby B: Arts1 has helped me better my confidence and my skills in performance have improved dramatically in the short time I’ve been a sixth form student here, even the skills, like dance, that I had never previously done before. The staff are so wonderful and supportive, they create such a positive, welcoming environment where nobody feels as if they’re being judged. Would definitely recommend to anyone, it’s an amazing school for young performers which offers a bunch of incredible opportunities, I love it! :)
Alice Kempson: I've been going to arts1 for many years, and now being on the sixth form course I can say with 100% honesty that this school is amazing! The lessons, skills, techniques and disciplines I have learnt are endless and so valuable. We learn from industry professionals weekly and the team of teachers have the best insights and intentions for each student, it really does feel like a big family! Will miss arts1 so much when I leave.
Benjamin Taylor: I didn't realise that my education was allowed to be fun, since joining Arts1 on the acting course, I have found that I couldn't be more wrong. My skill set is expanding with new things I never even thought I'd consider!
Yochabel Asante: Positive:Professionalism,QualityArts1 has such a supportive and exciting atmosphere that encourages students to push to their limit and work hard in every lesson. Teachers and students are always willing to make you a better performer.
Keely-Beth James: Positive:ProfessionalismLovely staff and students. The whole place is full of support and care. Overall, an amazing school.
Jack Nuttall: Am amazing school which provides it's students with state of the art training and a supportive place where they can step out of their comfort zones and pursue their passions.
Hannah Willey: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI am a sixth form student here, it is such a wonderful, supportive environment with great facilities and friendly students and staff. To be recommended!
Joseph Modebe: I have been a student at arts1 for the past two years now and I can confidently say that I have enjoyed every second of it, the teaching is superb and second to none and outside of the normal timetable we also get to create and learn with industry professionals whom all contribute to our skills all to further and enhance talent and productivity in the industry.I would recommend arts1 to anyone looking to start or enhance their goals in the aspect of performing arts.
Sophie Bright: Arts1 is a very professional establishment with kind, caring staff, and brilliant facilities. Very welcoming to new students and a great safe space.
Macy Spencer: Arts1 is one of the top pre-vocational sixth form school and part time school in the district. It’s highly detailed classes and courses are individually catered to you to allow you to get the absolute most out of your training.Within the sixth form courses, the classes are fully comprehensive and specific to you. Arts1 allows you to learn at your desired pace but also challenges you and pushes you out of your comfort zone, which in time betters you as a performer. Many alumni of Arts1 end up in prestigious higher education institutions to further their career. This is possible because Arts1 give you the tools you need to progress and the full support from the staff team. Some schools don’t offer the amount of classes we receive each day unlike Arts1. One specifically is Monday masterclass. This is where an industry professional comes in to teach us choreography repertoire or review our singing or acting pieces. This is an incredible opportunity to not only learn from some of the industry’s best but also to build your network for the future. If you are considering joining Arts1 wether a sixth form course or the part time school, I highly recommend you do. It is an excellent establishment to start/further your performance career.

Rhythm Room Music School: what do users think?
Paul Ashby: Excellent. Both myself and my grandaughter had trial lessons and we both had a great time. I can thoroughly recomend the Rhythm Room to anyone looking for lessons. We have since both continued with lessons. I will add that the whole place is spotless, with hand sanitiser available as you go up the stairs. I still stand by my original 5 star review.
Tanaka Masina: Jay the bouncer is a solid guy. Made my night.
Steve S: Re guitar lessons at Rhythm Room. The place is top notch - good kit, clean, well laid out and everything you need to hand. The admin is simple and effective - the calendar reminders are useful.Al is brilliant. He's patient and really seems to get where I am with my playing and where I want to go, and the excellent advice is really putting me on the right path to getting more from my playing.Anyway, just thought it worth giving a bit of feedback and to say thanks to you and your crew!Cheers, Steve
Bic Eccles: Awesome place to learn drums and more about music in general! Kev and Chris are awesome music tutors, as I’m sure the rest of the teachers here also are. I would highly recommend taking lessons here to any aspiring drummer!
Jason Dolton: Great facilities and quality, knowledgeable staff
cindy taylor: Absolutely loved the experience here.
Simon Voris: Amazing - excellent teacher, very patient. Would certainly recommend.
Simon Goodchild: Great local music school. Very accommodating and welcoming, endless patience with me. Never judged on ability or (lack of!) practice between lessons.
Patrizia Paci: My experience at Rhythm Room Music School has been amazing. It is a year and a half that I am learning drums and I am really satisfied with my progresses. Chris is a versatile music teacher and musician who adapts his teaching method to his students' abilities and music preferences. If you are looking for drum lessons, I really advise for Rhythm Room.
Tanya Garrett: The team at Rythmn Room are amazing! Professional, patient and passionate - online lessons and face-to-face lessons both offer good quality tutoring and I would highly recommend them! My son is learning the drums, he was not the most confident to begin with but Chris spoke to him and taught him on his level - he may not be at pro stage yet but he is improving and enjoying his lessons which most important!
Calum Barratt: Rhythm room music school is a welcoming, passionate and caring school, gifting music of all different instruments such as drumming(my forte and my choice of instrument), guitars, keyboard vocals and so much more. I’ve been learning here for nearly 2 years and I have loved every single second of it, my teacher, Chris, really loves his craft, and so do all the other teachers here. They cater to all ages, so you don’t need to worry about being ‘too old’ or ‘too young’ it’s never too late to learn an instrument!! If you’re in the area, and you want to pick up an instrument to carry you through the never ending lockdowns, if you want to go professional or even if you’re bored, I HIGHLY recommend rhythm room. You’ll love every second of it.
Mark Jeffers: It's clear that Chris, Kev and the team at Rhythm Room do this because they absolutely love music, and they get a real kick out of the progress their students make. Over the past few years I've gone from complete novice to learning an incredible number of aspects of drumming, and each lesson keeps pushing you forward to develop further. If you want that extra push to learn music, these guys are one of the best music schools around. It doesn't matter how old you are!
Tim Chick: Chris was great with a total newbie!
dcpears: Our daughter has worked with Chris and found him to be excellent drum teacher. She loves learning to drum at The Rhythm Room and we would recommend them to anyone.
jodie thatcher (jellycats): Been learning drums with the rhythm room for over a year now and couldn’t fault them - very talented and patient teachers who can tailor your lessons to what you want to achieve and have tonnes of experience! If you are wanting to learn an instrument look no further :)
steven mcginn: Fantastic tuition, fabulous teachers. Have learned more in a few lessons with Chris than in a year with another teacher! Brilliant. I would highly recommend the Rhythm Room.
daniel evans: Amazing place, very patient qood equipment and a decent place for beginners.Would recommend if you want to learn drums.
scott maynard Gmail: Rhythm Room is a great place to learn the drums it’s a great set up with two studio practice soundproof rooms, FREE parking round the back. This is something I have always wanted to do but either never had the courage or always ‘too busy’ but I dipped my toe in the water with Groupon Deal in January and after my first lesson I was buzzing, had such a great time I decided to have regular lessons each week , my tutor Chris is very calm and patient with me it’s a really relaxed atmosphere here and I feel that I really get a lot out of coming here.I would highly recommend Rhythm Room , go try it , you are never too old to learn , and you only live once , nothing ventured nothing gained!
Alicja Cassidy: My daughter has been having drum lessons with Chris since Jan 2018. She thoroughly enjoys the lessons and Chris ensures she understands and has the correct material to practice at home. I would highly recommend the Rhythm Room for all levels and ages. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Piet Europe: Since buying a Groupon voucher for the first lessons, I have been learning to play the guitar with the help of my guitar teacher Alistair Wilson at Rhythm Room Music School. For over a year I have been attending weekly lessons and learned to play along with songs and backing tracks.I am now expanding my playing skills through Alistair’s help as he is now also teaching me about guitar chord theory.Alistair uniquely adapts his lessons and advice to my progress, skills and interests. Just tell him what kind of music you want to learn to play: he’ll show you how. A bit of practice every day has really paid off. I have made great progress, starting as a complete novice, getting to grips with a hobby that is great fun and educational. I now really enjoy picking up my guitar to learn new chords and rhythms, playing tunes I really like.Think twice if you want to learn whilst struggling through YouTube videos learning from an impersonal piece of video footage that you need to keep stopping and restarting. Alistair’s personal tuition geared to your needs and skills gets you playing a lot quicker and better and his direct feedback is so much more helpful and satisfying. If you are looking for a new exciting hobby, or improve on your existing guitar playing skills, you must check out their website – don’t forget to look at the tutor’s résumés - and get in touch with Alistair Wilson at Rhythm Room Music School in Bletchley.
Laura McLean: Have been taught by both Chris and Kev and loving it! Been with the drum school for over a year now and it’s been a great experience, the guys are so keen to make sure the learning works for the individual and the environment is relaxed and fun! As an adult just trying to find a new way to de-stress .. .. highly recommended !!P.s. Chris is a saint for putting up with my relentless effing and jeffing... poor guy :-)

JR Drumming Tuition: what do users think?
Nats & Ibs: Joe, is such an amazing drum teacher, so patient and encouraging with our young drummer, Joe was happy to take a chance on him and the results are amazing, would highly recommend anyone to anyone who is looking for a teacher to contact JR Drumming 😊you will not be disappointed.
Aidan Selwood: Joe is great. My son has been having lessons for the past few months and he always looks forward to them.I’ve got only nice things to say about Joe. He is so patient, kind and knows just the right amount to push my son to keep him learning without getting frustrated.
Laura Rand: Very professional room layout and equipment for lessons, and great home visit setup. Clearly very knowledgeable and puts me at ease. Always positive and excellent ear for the sound.
Gary: Very friendly and welcoming from the get go. Listens to what you want to get from the lessons and genuinely crafts each lesson to benefit what you're aiming towards. Cannot recommend enough!
Tom Kiddle: I have had less then 10 lessons and have gone from never picked up a drum stick before to competently being able to practice, play a few simple songs (anything by the white stripes) and really enjoy drumming. At 35 I thought it would be difficult to pick up a new skill but the lessons are fun, focused and engaging. I would highly recommend. JR is great.
Grace Spicer: Highly reccomend!! Joe is an amazing teacher! He is patient and always encouraging me to enjoy playing! I always leave my sessions with a smile on my face!😊
Martin Corkill: Joe is a fantastic teacher, all really good lessons going at the right pace for you, teaching in such an easy way. Definitely recommend!
Emanuele Tumminello: Great teacher for a beginner like me
Kelly Israel: Our daughter has had just a handful of lessons thus far and is progressing really well. The drumming bug has captured her thanks to Joe!Joe is patient, considerate and makes adaptations for her individual learning style. He's supported in the purchase of a kit to ensure we get the right one for her.Great to be able to keep in touch between lessons on WhatsApp to share progress.Highly recommend Joe and his tuition.
Jen Leslie: I knew I wanted to try something new for creative expression and cathartic release but I had never even touched a real drum set before Joe. Here I am, 4 lessons in, and Joe has nurtured my "drum hero skills" into a capability to play the ACTUAL DRUMS. It's wild! Some bits his cheerleading gives me a real confidence boost, other times his patience and explanations are put to good use! You don't appreciate the complexity to drumming until you're taught by a true professional with some mind-boggling talent. But he breaks each step down to make it accessible to all learning abilities and ages and I'm so excited to see where I progress going into 2023. So so glad I took a chance with Joe. He's one of those natural teachers. Highly recommend for total newbies who are starting from complete scratch. Give it a go!!!!
Katy Cockerill: After many years of wanting to play the drums, I finally plucked up the courage to start , and Joe is the best teacher I could have hoped for 🥁With sentimental reasons for my want to learn the drums for my late father (who was a full time drummer ) , Joe’s positive , calm , patient approach and great sense of humour allows anyone to really feel relaxed and ENJOY the experience.Cannot recommend him enough !!Super professional and dedicated to help his clients achieve their very best ! 🙌🏼😎
Digital Ridge: I’ve started drumming as a complete beginner and Joe has helped me to understand the fundamentals very quickly, highly recommended
Rebekah Roberts: Fantastic drummer, Great tutor and an amazing human to meet. I have been having lessons with Joe for about 9 months and it's been a blast. Lesson's are fun & very knowledgable, teachers you at your own pace, but will push you to achieve and exceed your best! My confidence has grown.. which I never thought that would happen.... Basically, He is the best' and I would highly recommend.
Francis Hughes: After a three decade hiatus I finally extracted my mid-digit and decided to try again to learn the drums. Looking on Google maps I found JRDrumming with great reviews and have now been going there for several months.Joe is a truly awesome teacher and great bloke! Patient, skilled, detailed, supportive and very encouraging - he has a true passion and positive energy that is contagious and makes you want to progress. I truly wish the 13yr old me could have had him as a teacher, I'd never have stopped playing. Still, I'm catching up on the lost time now. :-)
Miss Fiona Woods: Joe is a fantastic teacher!, my son has been attending the studio for a couple of months now, he throughly enjoys his lessons! Joe has a clear love and passion for music. Would totally recommend!
Gemma F: Joe is an absolutely fantastic teacher, I really can’t emphasise this enough! He is consistently positive, encouraging and patient and he communicates so well with my son who thinks Joe is great!I highly recommend Joe as a teacher for young children.
Cathy Fagan: I can highly recommend Joe. I started having lessons this year as I wanted to learn rudiments and improve my drumming technique. Joe has certainly helped. He is able to pick up quickly on anything that might be holding you back and is patient, full of helpful tips and challenges and makes each lesson enjoyable.
Aditi Lakhani: My son learns drumming from Jo. He absolutely loves it. Jo is very positive and motivating. He always tries to find the strengths of the child and enhances them, giving them confidence to take up challenges. I would fully recommend Jo as the best drumming teacher we have met so far. With his motivation, my son performed live drumming for the Gujarat team in the recent IDMK 2022 event infront of 10,000+ audience.
Jay Modha: I can't recommend Joe highly enough. My son has progressed so much and looks forward to his lessons with Joe every time.
Douglas Brown: Well at 65 and with no musical history thought I would try drumming! Jo is so enthusiastic and encouraging and while obviously talented himself has a passion for helping his students. Really enjoying learning with him.
Paulito Hancon: I am just starting out on my drumming journey and couldn't be happier with Joe teaching me. As a 42 year old guy, learning new things from scratch can be a bit daunting but Joe made me feel at ease immediately and we got stuck straight in on the fundamentals. Joe makes the whole experience super fun and I come out of each session with a huge grin on my face. If you need drum lessons then look no further, Joe is the guy to get in touch with!
