Dr Asif Malik Humayun: what do users think?
S S: I have been seeing Dr Humayun for 4 months for help with weight loss and he has helped me to lose weight easily for the first time in my life. I always exercise 3 times a week but struggled with loosing weight quickly, with the help of Dr Humayun, I have gone from 112kg to 94kg and from a size 18 to a size 14.Dr Humayun is incredibly knowledgable and helpful, very professional and has helped me to achieve what I wanted. My confidence is back up, I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Humayun!.
Wyona Berman-Thomas: I was so very fortunate to given Dr Humayun as my endocrinologist. He is fantastic, his unbelievable knowledge and his manner in dealing with his patients is on a different level altogether. He has set the bar so high, I wish a number of other consultants would follow in his footsteps. Nothing was to much trouble for him, in regards to explaining my condition to me, to answering all my questions. Thank you so very much for being my endocrinologist. I am eternally grateful to you.
Emma Mclean: I have been seeing Dr Humayun for almost 4 months for help with weight loss. Due to PCOS loosing weight was my biggest battle. I attended his webinair and though informative I was still dubious about if this could really work for me as everything else I had tried, failed. So I waited a little while before taking the plunge. I am so glad I went ahead, I am over 12KG lighter and feel so much better in myself. I am now back at a point I felt was impossible and I cannot thank him enough
michelle S: Fed up of not being taken seriously by GP when I suspected I had a thyroid issue I booked into see Dr Humayun. With correct medication I am finally feeling like myself again!! I didn't go to the appointment realising that Dr H also dealt with weight loss but with Thyroid issues came stubborn weight gain, i'd tried everything... at least i thought I had. Dr suggested the injection and I have recently started my weightloss journey , 3 weeks, 3 kgs 😀 great start!Thank you so much Dr Humayun
Melanie Riddiford: Such an amazing journey over the last three months thanks to Dr H!I have always been petite but over the last 10 years I have steadily put more and more weight on. I am a complete foodie and thus diets do not come easy to me. Dr H has put me on a life changing weight control program allowing me to lose 2 stone in 3 months! I 100% recommend seeking advice from Dr H if you are struggling with your weight. Being your desired weight brings back so much lost confidence! Thank you Mr H!
Gabby Burns: Came to see dr for weight lost. I’ve always struggled with motivation to lose weight. Since seeing dr h, I have lost 15kgs in just 4 months. Absolutely life changing. Would highly recommend dr h to anyone!!!
Hannah C: This has so far been an amazing journey. Took my first injection on 16th February (on an empty stomach). Started at 87kg. Now at 79.7kg. I have lost weight all over my body. I feel great too.I walk 7km 3 days a week but no other exercise. As I don’t eat a lot now I ensure I eat a healthy diet. But I do have a cornetto for dessert most days. And I drink alcohol if I fancy a glass or 2.I will continue this journey until I am back to a size 12-14 (I was a 16-18).Thank you Dr Humayun for your help & support.
Martha Cove: Dr Humayun is incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Very professional and helped me to achieve what I wanted. I would highly recommend him.
Jules: Dr Humayun has helped me to lose weight easily for the first time in my life.I’ve lost over 2 stone in 3 months and my chronic pain is easing after years. I cannot recommend highly enough.Great consultation manner too. Friendly, helpful and absolutely no intimidation whatsoever and I have a Dr phobia.I’ve coupled his treatment with rehabilitation pilates and I know that things now are improving so quickly for me.
H: Dr Humayan has been fantastic throughout. During my care he was extremely attentive, and really listened to my personal experience before proceeding. He was always clear with the care plan and what options we had moving forward, and always ensured I understood what the next steps were before we proceeded. I would definitely recommend him.
Umber Qaiser: Thanks to Dr Humayun and my insulin pump that my blood glucose is very well controlled. Very calm and wonderful person who knows how to treat his patients. He is my diabetic doctor from 2 years in Milton keynes hospital and solved all my issues promptly.

Brooklands Health Centre: what do users think?
Alan McIntyre: This doctors is an absolute joke. The reception staff are so rude particularly an older woman. Not all are just 1-2 Who loves to talk over you and also think she is a doctor. The waiting times are an absolute joke when In the practise I have waited 2 hours nearly after my appointment time. If I was you avoid this place and register with a different practise. I’m leaving to go to another local surgery…
Diiana Roxana: I went to the surgery today to grab a summary and was greeted by receptionist Yasmin. She was very attentive and caring. Very happy with my experience.
Akosua Asubonteng: Sammie was excellent with Chris; hence, the procedure went smoothly.
Krzysztof Sowa: Always a problem to contact the doctor, very unpleasant and unhelpful women at the register.
Matilde Kidd: The Pharmacist was on time, polite and efficient. Sunny helped me with all my medical questions and made sure to book any test I needed
rasa valauskaite: Nearly 2 hours wait, brand new locum who doesn't even have access to the system to give the prescription for the medicine, very dissapointed. On top of after such a long wait, were not even checked properly.
Adil Umer: I have been trying to get an appointment for the past 7 days, I call them every morning sharp at 8 and yet my call is always in the waiting at above 30. I stay on hold for more than 40 minutes and after that I get told that there are no appointments left and go to the emergency or call 111.If this is what I always have to do to go to the emergency then whats the point of my local surgery. My daughter had not been well for the past few days and I also have been chasing to change my prescription for almost 2 weeks now. I suffer from Hiatus Hernia and I have been really struggling for the past few days but my local surgery don't even care. The receptionist tells me to call at 8am which I have been doing for many days but yet unable to get any appointments. Shame
Tolu Agbebi: I had a good experience with the staff when I attended the Surgery.
maria ivan: I can't tell you enough how happy I am to have found Dr. Subrata Banerjea! She is kind, knowledgeable and has a strong demeanor which will put you right at ease! She will go over everything in detail so you know what she's going to do. Great expererience and highly recommended!
Karen DeGenerous: This place is not for the patient, it's just big business with big Pharma contracts. It's the worst you can possibly think of, no service, not understanding simple medical requests, no menopause medication and that's decided by an approximately 29-year-old African woman who is probably 2 decades off menopause. An elusive so-called manageress who has two surgeries to look after which is impossible. It was so bad that at the age of 56 I told them I quit - The first time I'd ever done that with anything. I would rather be without a doctor and I telephoned the CCG and they accepted that and found me another place later.Recently I received my medical records and I've seen that a doctor - who, luckily for him, I can't find his name at the moment - actually wrote that he asked me to leave the surgery. There are so many lies inside medical records, I was actually transferred to the Dr Longstaff in Leighton Buzzard Bassett Road surgery and so much as he sounded really nice on the surface, I have got him for at least 40 Descriminations against mental health so much so that I had to take him to court. So even if you think you know a doctor well, don't trust what they write in medical records.
Denise Latner: Really informative and helpful consultation with Sunny got a medication review. However recently have had issues with my essential stoma supplies. Last month part of the order was missing. The supplier blamed the medical centre and vice versa. The problem was that I, the patient, was left to sort out the problem running from the medical centre to the pharmacy to the hospital and many phone calls. Promised call backs didn’t happen apart from one which took 48 hours despite my stressing to Brooklands that I cannot go without these supplies. Apparently it wasn’t urgent enough ?? I sent an email to the practice manager a month ago which has not even been acknowledged let alone answered. This month I noticed a potential issue with the same prescription. Two messages remain unread on system online and another unanswered email. As a retired Band 7 NHS manager I am well aware of the pressures etc on staff but ignoring patients is a new low. Staff appear to be untrained in basic procedures and triage of messages. Highly unprofessional
Faye Walker: Sammie was amazing with our daughter who came in for bloods, she didn’t only put her at ease she also put me and her dad at ease as we didn’t know how it was going to go! She didn’t rush it she made conversation with our daughter, to the point my daughter didn’t even flinch when the needle went in and she’s 4! Amazing experience thank you Sammie :)
Christine Stamp-Thirlwell: I, like many of you, have had issues getting appointments etc and it took a long time to get a face to face appointment with a doctor but when I did Dr Alison (sorry forgotten the Dr's surname) was just amazing. It was the good 'old fashioned' service that we have all missed for many years. That was 2 weeks ago and this week this same Health Centre saved my life, quite literally. Driving home from work I suffered severe chest pains and couldn't breathe very well. I pass the surgery on the way home, so simply abandoned the car in the carpark, went to reception and simply said 'please help me.' Within seconds every doctor, nurse and clinician was by my side making me feel safe, secure and beyond cared for at this very, very scary time. They swept into action and each knew their 'role' in this emergency. THEY kept apologising as they knew it was overwhelming as they came at me from every angle, with equipment that needed to be attached to me to monitor vital signs whilst asking lots of questions they needed in order to understand how to continue to support me. I'll say that again THEY kept apologising to ME ! There were all helping me so how compassionate and understanding to recognise my fear at this time. The ambulance arrived I went into A&E where I spent the rest of afternoon and evening having tests, an x-ray and a CT Scan. Thankfully it wasn't a heart attack but without the swift action of all at Brooklands Health Centre, it could have progressed to that. Thank you is not enough for your continued care during this trying times in the NHS. I have always supported all NHS staff and after my recent health scare, I am resolved to fight even harder for you all. THANK YOU ALL
lily bootman: Sunny was so helpful, he really listened to me and understood where I needed help
M RM: Very helpful staff.Had an issue getting a sick note and the staff really went above and beyond to sort out. Seemed to really care, top service :)
Aisha Nwankwo: Sunny was patient, reassuring, a good listener and very pleasant to talk to.A very positive experience!Plus he was persistent! Called me thrice!
Sasha Iqbal: Been trying to make an appointment for the past 4 days, I start calling from 8am and in a queue of above 30 finally got through today and was cut off had to re join to find out there’s no more appointments absolutely awful still have not been able to make an appointment
Rizza Ramirez: I just got off the phone with them, I can confirm that I found the rudest person I've ever spoken to on the phone in this GP practice.
Richard Neale: Would give no stars, have given up entirely on seeing a doctor. They can't even send over prescriptions consistently. You get ignored in stood in reception and get to see them actively ignore calls. They will text you for you to call and make an appointment, where as they could just make the appointment for you and text you that instead. This surgery is terrible.Hi, so apparently you wish to try and help resolve my issues. I ordered a repeat of my prescription through system online. At no point did it tell me meds were due a review or offer to request an online review. This request was made on the 3rd of April, you sat on it for nine days and did nothing with it. I've called and attended in person since then and you still haven't done a thing to progress this for me. Instead you've lied to me and told me it will get processed, first two days ago, then yesterday. I've not slept for 48 hours and I'm experiencing strong feelings of tribulation. Why? Why am I left to deal with this? At this point, 11 days after making my initial request, surly this is malpractice.
Marcel Budusan: I don’t know from where to start, since registered with the clinic I had three visits to the clinic and I felt like not supposed to be there and why do I ask questions, not at all a GP service what I’m expecting :) hopefully some improvements will come
Roda Jibril: I have had a terrible time in this gp, getting appointments is a nightmare, getting taken seriously is even worse and you'll have incredible luck getting somewhere if you're coming to this gp with prior medications. They told me they'd be giving me a shake to try and yet its been ages and no word. Will be leaving this place as soon as possible.
