Fishermead Medical Centre: what do users think?
Suzy Bowden: Can’t book appointments in advance and have to call on the day if you want to be seen. Call on the day at 7:59am, says I’m caller number 2 in the queue and still not through to anyone at 8:45am and still waiting…The appointments system is an absolute joke. I do not believe for a second that the receptionist come in and get straight onto calls at 8am, if you’re second in line you wouldn’t be waiting almost an hour to get through to someone.I have several issues needing to be seen to by a doctor but due to only being allowed to speak about one issue per appointment and never actually being able to get appointments, I’ve just given up on even trying. I’m only calling today because of my baby being unwell and after being advised by a pharmacist to be seen.
Vlad Gulacsi: Worst GP possible, avoid if possible....very hard to get an appointment, condescending staff
Iriana Mitange: Very well organised and clean centre, attentive professionals and quality service.
Natalia Popa: I've been calling every day at 8 a.m. for two weeks and I can't get an appointment! patients are spoken very rudely!!!
Aneta Cula: The worse gp in Milton Keynes. I was 7th in the queue since 8am and by 11 am when finally got through they didn't have any appointments. What makes me angry is that I didn't know that one conversation with reception each time takes around 25min per person. One time I was onnthe phone waiting for 2 h and I decided to walk there while I was on line waiting I found out that no one was on the phone and they just had phones on the side so they can drink coffee and chata with each other.
Amie Rowson: Me and my family have had an amazing experience with this doctors! Especially one receptionist in particular was extremely helpful. I think her name was Alison but I could be wrong. She listened and was attentive and has been every single time she has dealt with me or a family member. She really makes me feel at ease no matter what my issue is and is a great asset to the team!
Jeashan Haleem: Very bad GP medical centre in the world
Safeena Nouman: worser gp ever. i asked for medical letters regarding my back problems and haw that effects me living my in my current accommodation to support my homeless application. i was told by doctor kalsoom she can't give a housing support letter because the council are most likely to move me into the same accommodation based on the number of people living with me . So i eventually changed doctors and my new gp gave me support letters for my council office. The council then the council awarded me motability categories and i wil be moving soon into something on the ground floor .
Arvind krishna kumar: Fishermead medical center is absolutely amazing! Reception staff are really helpful and the repeat prescription related staff are absolutely quick that you get everything same day though they say to wait next day ! Really very helpful although I know there are too many calls they get start at 8am and wonderful bunch !!
TheFATTY999: It has to be 1 star just so I can put this up here to warn people stay away I'm now looking for another gp to move to to be accused of being addicted to pain meds when I have a 8mm tear inside my elbow witch needs surgery to fix and also got 2 discs in my back seriously damaged then trying to book an appointment only to be met with a rude and stuck up respetionest been at this surgery for about a year and not even seen any of the doctors there plus still waiting on blood test results to come back nearly 5 months ago was told they had been sat in the fridge for a month before sent off
Mariq Krasteva: This is the worse surgery ever. My partner was trying to make an appointment for 3 days in a roll and he couldn't manage to make one. When they finally pick up the phone, the woman was so rude as he has to go and change his information by himself and still didn't get the service he needed.
CC GK: These GPS are getting paid for doing nothing.. serious investigations or audits need to take place at all Medical centres in Milton, because their performance is below poor..
Raees Aslam: Dr Ali was rude, terrifying and disrespectful. She would like shifting things on to you. E.g., the nurses told me that I should share my medication plan with my GP but the GP liked shouting instead of exploring my problem. As if She already knew everything about my problems and pain without any prior discussion. Super confident!Everyone in this Surgery I met so far would asks you same question, swing you back and forth between nurses and doctors and, literally no one knows about your health management plan.Except for one nurse, everyone happens to be rude. As if they are forced to do the job. So they follow the procedure - “ticking the box” only.Such a shame!
Beáta Jónás: I just registered myself
Bobby Mckenzie: Cld of died left untreated with chrohns and. Die there’s told me wait for phone call never got most times point rushed in hospital they didn’t take diabetes serios bin rushed hospital so many times. Place horible. No help on my health or mental health left me rot end up I’ll depression moved years neglect supose to have blood tests and endoscopy cola oscopy a hospital sent refers to doc fishermead sone nuffink leaving me to suffer no help no advice worse docs I know of not hard jst call I make me an Apointment at 8 am /9. They say u have to get call now face to face so u can’t get check ups. Bin discussed how bin treated tbh moving to a new one asked bout my daughter getting help her adhd nope said medication addicted put in in crazy place make u addicted me and daughter no meds mine now cannabis for my adhd the docs neglected me bad fishermead. Never again wld I want to step foot in there again we’ll rare to eaven do that or get chance always empty. Always face to face wtong awnsers point ur in hospital they shld be done for negligence tbh how bout all others they effected not. Do there jobs. Proply yeah I tried 2 years of it is enuff atleast my previous docs in wolverton went the best atleast I was seen jeez
alan melville: Always hadYes exceptional service at fishermead. Myself and my wife. All the staff and doctors are always helpful and friendly
Paturca Sebastian: You can't get an appointment at this surgery, neveeer! I've lost mornings trying to get an appointment, no-one answering and when they finally answer it's been fully booked. Worst medical center..... . There's also a problem regarding the ethics of the doctors working here, as they have no idea about managing a conversation: I have high blood pressure and I was told that:"you know you'll die" , I'm in my forties , this is not a proper way to do it. Don't go for this surgery! I will contact also the authorities, this is unacceptable behaviour!
Joanna Frank: One star for this morning's phone call! I have attempted to book an appointment over the phone!! I have tried today for 30 minutes just for it to say "line busy" so then I rang up and finally got through to someone, when I mentioned about my prescription and was going to ask about booking to see the nurse regarding my asthma, before I had the chance the receptionist rudely interrupted me and told me the prescription times!! I didn't appreciate being talked over I found that rather rude!I then went in person to book an appointment with the nurse and the receptionist was then nice about it and told me to bring my inhalers with me, I was pleased to have gotten an appointment so quickly!! So five stars for going in person (if you don't want to wait around to speak over the phone which I to be honest don't , you are better off going into the surgery to speak to someone in person.Five stars!! Due to my disability I needed a family member to go with me to see the nurse and it was nurse Theresa who was very nice to me and explained the medication to me that I had been prescribed for, she sent off my prescription very quickly, not only did the nurse send off for my prescription pronto, when I have been to see Dr Ali in the past she was pronto with the prescription send off aswell! They don't slack when it comes to someone needing prescriptions. I asked nurse Theresa some questions , she explained the answers really well and was just really nice. All the nurses are nice including Nurse Lisa, Nurse Tanya and Nurse Theresa who I have never met before and was really good with me.The receptionists need to learn how to be patient with patients who are calling and not talk over them.Other than that they are very good.
Obaid Khawaja: Very poor reception, very poor service, I have to wait for an appointment for months. When appointment day comes doctor calls you for few seconds and doesn't show enough interest in patients
Florin Buzdugan: Waited 1 month for an employer letter which i paid 30€ for, they are a joke.
Beca M: I am changing this review. Because when I spoke to Rita. She was helpful, she made me feel listened to and safe. And also Doctor Ali who I spoke to most recently was very good. Very helpful and very reassuring.I was previously returned to my normal doctor a month ago. Who responded to my PTSD over traumatic events, with the words 'try harder'. I'd rate it a 1, but Rita and Doctor Ali were so kind, thoughtful and compassionate, and the receptionists were so professional that it would be unfair to not give it 3 stars.

Blackberry Clinic Milton Keynes: what do users think?
Benjamin Jowett: I would NOT recommend the BlackberryClinic to friends, family or anyoneI know & would never go there again! Complete waste of money! They cancelled my appointment several times. I left messages for callback and they couldn’t be bothered to callback, so I had to call them. Totally disorganised and they didn’t want to be accountable for their mistakes. An unprofessional way of running a private Clinic! I won’t be using them again, nor recommending them to anyone.
Paul: Great!!! I’m receiving treatment for patellar tendonitis in my left knee. After years of pain and trying to get the NHS to help me I have ended up coming to Blackberry for PRP treatment (2 Injections so far).I can honestly say that after one injection the pain I have had for 3 years from just walking has disappeared. It has only been 4 weeks and I have gone back for a 2nd injection, so hoping for even better results, but the ultrasound looks promising. The staff friendliness, knowledge and treatment from the staff was really great. I saw Simon and he went through all the options available to me, and then carried out the treatment.I Highly suggest visiting if you are in pain and need to speak to someone for more advice.
Nicholas Green: Avoid like the plague!. Had spinal injections costing £750 which went well but the after care service was dreadful, the injections caused great pain afterwards but any follow up appointment was going to cost over £100 more. Once they took my money they completely lost interest, do not use this 'clinic'. Money grubbers!.
Abbas Shah: Good service and a free coffee machine to use when waiting. Very expensive but good doctors which speak English.
Sairam G: I was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis as root cause of severe neck pain where I use to suffer with pins and needles, neck pain, hand burning and swollen hands.I started my treatment with Jack Percival in Milton Keynes and it really started helping me to control my symptoms and not getting it worse. The best part is the discussions we had for different options and go in the direction for which my body responds to. It's really a good decision I took going to Black Berry and seeing Jack!
Charles Vladimir VARNICA: Best sport expert locally.
Valerica Naomi Torre: I wanted to thank Victoria, Tory, the physical therapist who guided me very professionally during my journey through my new condition due to knee osteoarthritis. Not only a very capable person in her work, but also very pleasant in manner, easy to interact with her.
D G: Been here twice now for steroid injections in My neck after suffering for nearly 10 years with chronic pain. The reception team are really nice and friendly and Dr Chakka is by far one of the most professional and considerate doctors I have ever seen. I have a fear of needles and can never usually go through with anything that requires needles Dr Chakka calmed me down and spoke to me keeping me informed during the entire procedure, I’m so glad I went through with it as the pain is now manageable.Thank you to everyone at the clinic.
Becky: Used the blackberry clinic for years for physio services. Used to see Tom but when I needed physio again this year and Tom had since left, (I hadn’t been since pre-pandemic) I was apprehensive as I didn’t know any of the other physios. But now I have seen Tori who is equally as good with my troublesome hypermobility and frequent injuries.Blackberry clinic are fairly priced and it’s easy to get appointments without long wait time. Better than other physios I’ve seen when I’ve been away at uni etc. so I recommend :)
Subbash Patel: I had shoulder pain and found this place on internet. Made appointment with Alastair Greetham. He examined me very thoroughly and found what the problem was. He did some stretching and maneuvering which relieved my pain and gave me some exercise to do which helped me a lot. I went one more time and was very pleased with the results. I do not leave close to here so will have to find someone like him near me. Very nice person knows his job.
Viki Wright: I have been attending the Blackberry Clinic, Milton Keynes since beginning of the year and initially saw Shelley as a Chiropractor and then Mark as a Physio. I cannot recommend them both enough. The treatment I have received has been excellent and more to the point I am seeing results and less pain. Mark, associated and linked my shoulder issue with my knee which has had several surgical procedures on it over the years and is never great at the best of times, however, since visiting Mark and doing the specific exercises both my shoulder and my knee are improving and definitely in less pain. I highly recommend the Blackberry Clinic for on-going concerns/injuries and new injuries. The Clinic is friendly, professional and experts in their field.
Jaime Miller2: My Mum has arthritis in one of her knees and was in a lot of pain. Dr Petrides took great care to examine and understand the issue and then treated her with the relevant injection. He also recommended some exercises for her. This clinic is world renowned and every time I visit, I can see why. Thank you to Dr Petrides and his great team.
Terry Remnant: The blackberry clinic is always amazing and Simon and the team are absolutely amazing. What they do for my mum allows her to enjoy her life without the chronic pain and they do that for her. So just wanted to say a massive thank you as always as your the best!!!!
Razwan Hussain: I dont think I have ever been this pleased with a service before in my life. Last year I took my Father here to look at issues with his Knees and saw Dr Petrides and from start to finish was a brilliant experience. My Dad got the treatment he needed and his knee pain has gone. Today I went back with my Mrs who had severe back pain and we saw the same Dr. Brilliant experience again, she got seen and had her injection within an hour. We would have been waiting over a year through the Nhs. You get what you pay for its as simple as that and can’t recommend Blackberry clinic highly enough. I have recommended another friend who will also be visiting soon.
Nicholas Burton: Like other bad reviews on here I can only eco my experience total waste of time and money.More pain after the procedure than what i was in before and they refuse to even see me again unless I pay more money. Not even offering solutions to try and rectify the situation. Basically go away quietly.I am going for a second opinion as I feel I have been mis diagnosed and will not let this rest.If you want a good experience from people who understand pain and know how much of a struggle day to day life activities can be. I strongly recommend not to visit this clinic.
Maria Richard: Very good
Aoife O'connor: Blackberry Clinic have been brilliant at helping me with my recovery after an injury. My physio, Alastair, helped me build back my strength and confidence quicker than I thought I would. The whole team were brilliant, the nurses and receptionists all so helpful in helping arrange my appointments around work and squeezing me in when needed. Would absolutely go back, great experience and service.
Jaime Miller: Outstanding! My Mum has back pain for over 30 years and has had various steroid and epidural injections at a number of private hospitals. My Mum has had three treatments with Dr Petrides and he has been the only Dr able to provide her full relief from her disabling pain. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you to the Dr and his wonderful and comforting Nurse, Yvonne.
abraham elfasi: waist of time and money, and gone through severe pain with no positive results.my partner had gone through 6 shockwave treatments on her heal with no benefit at all - was told that the treatment is not working because she has low vitamin d - after the treatment was done - yes i know its funny.complained to the management and where told that they cant do anything.when asked what did we pay for - answered - "well you have had the treatment".in the stand point of a customer - you paid for something and got nothing.is one paying for a treatment or for A CURE ?!as far as the clinic is concern - you paid for the treatment - the cure is a free bonus which you may or may not get.they don't get that- under consumers laws - you bought a product which did not fit the purposebe ware before you fork out your hard earn cash
Martin Robinson: Visited privately for HGV medical assessment. Very pleasant facilities and extremely helpful reception and assessment.
John Gardiner: You pay probably a little more than other place's. Worth every penny. Can't recommend them enough

Sovereign Medical Centre: what do users think?
Zi -: They used to be a good surgery, but now they have got so worse and greedy. There is no way to plan and book appointments for a doctor consultation; They have killed that system. The only way to book an appointment is by phone from 8-9, and phone lines are mostly busy, or no one answers the phone. They still get so much money from the government but can't offer services to the community. It's like a scam!!! The government have to do something about this system and greed.
Martin Hadler Thompson: Numerous occasions of errors and omissions at the "repeated prescriptions" service. One medication prescribed, but not requested. Prescriptions not delivered to the Chemist. Medications omitted and instead of requested ones, different written on the patient's prescription. Dangerous and utterly unprofessional . I raised my concerns in writing, but received no response. The web site "contact us" menu was suspended, There is a problem with the recording line for prescriptions and there is a problem with the communication between the surgery and the chemist at Neath Hill
Simone Bell: Best practice ever with the best doctors and nurses, and great friendly receptionists.
Henna Varsani: I have had some mixed experiences here so far but on the whole it's been okay. I filled in a form for an excemption around July but did not receive anything through the post and when I queried about it recently, I had to fill the form in again and was told it could take 6 weeks which is annoying. However, the staff have been polite and helpful. I specifically want to mention Raksha Vyas who made my experience of getting two jabs so wonderful. I'm extremely nervous around needles and she put me at ease and was so reassuring, it was was the best experience I've had so far!
nazmeen ashrafi: We were seen by Dr Samuel Muthuveloe who was very helpful. He called us instantly as my daughter has recurring ear infections since she had her surgery. The doctor quickly esclated our request to NHS and prescribed her some meds to ease off the pain. Cant praise this surgery enough and the staff they have. Thank you so much 😊
Claudia Siminiuc: Did happen two times that I called in the morning (around 9-10 o’clock)because my baby had fever 40 and couldn’t get down the fever with anything. The receptionist was really unprofessional, no patience to wait to explain the issue, and her tone inadequate for a health domain. I waited to be called by the doctor all day, ( in meantime I called back to check if I will still be called back), all this time my baby had fever. Every tine the reception told me to wait until 6:30 PM. At 6 PM I called and I asked if I was the last on the waiting least as no one called me yet and the surgery closing at 6:30 PM (she confirmed closing time). I asked her how are they prioritise the people, still I am confused because she wasn’t able to clarify this. I would like to mention that every time when I called to be seen by a doctor was a real health problem, and every time I walked from the surgery with antibiotic or specific treatment for my baby! I didn’t called that I am bored at home, I know it for sure that there was a problem. I would like to mention that the doctors was professional and happy to understand and treat the problem. Also on the web site is saying that the surgery opening hours are 8AM- 6:30 PM, when I called between 8-9 Pm, never, no anyone was able to answer. Maybe I wait it all night the morning hours to get medical advice from my GP… .Really disappointed!!!
Grahamn Flegg: Terrible Practice to be a patient at. Reception staff are outrageously rude and and only seen to be interested in passing you off to 999. Really don't think this level of treatment is really acceptable. People are not in good health and the attitude is completely unacceptable.
Kannan: Rude receptionist. It's so frustrating to call here and make a simple appointment. Doctors are still not seeing the patients face to face.
bulletsdodger: My call was answered very quickly, the staff was very helpful.
P S: The Receptionist ROBINA DOWSETT in this GP is the rudest person i have ever met. When patients are suffering with all sorts of problems and stress, they come to the GP for some advice and help. But if you are unlucky enough to be answered by Robina Dowsett, she will condescend you and give you more stress by her mannerisms and rude persona. In 2022 where the quality of patient care is so important and doctors know all about this, how can they employ such a rude person right at the front of the GP.Me, my family and my friends have all experienced unacceptable rudeness from Robina Dowsett. I have told her nice many times to speak to patients nicely but she doesnt listen. Maybe she hates her job or hates the patients. But this means that she shouldn’t be dealing with patients as she is causing this unnecessary stress when they are already suffering.I wish i recorded some of her calls. When i asked for her name, she refused but i got hold of it eventually. The doctors in the GP are the best I’ve seen but this practice is severely let down by their reception staff. Please fix your receptionist, because the doctors here are amazing.
R M: Moved back to area in May. Have needed to speak to docs a few times. Response times have been excellent. Phone consultations have been convenient with in-person follow-up when necessary. I guess phone consultations aren’t great for everyone but, being home-based, we’ve found them much better than sitting in a crowded waiting room. Listening to the same, tedious recorded messages when trying to phone through is not great but docs, para-practitioner and nurses have been great once that minor hurdle is passed.
Soscilla Walsh: Great practice. Can ring up in the morning and get appointment same day. Most people I speak to have to wait weeks for an appointment, so makes a big difference. Nurses are all nice, and there is one receptionist that is really lovely, forgot her name though! The Dr's I ahve dealt with are really good, Dr Nasiri, Dr Puri, and Dr Parmar are superb- really attentive and follow through. Would definitely recommend:)
Julia Kishlali: We have recently moved to the area and we're surprised, that despite the lock down, the practice still operated on telephone calls. Every time me or my husband called, we received calls within 2-3 hours, sometimes sooner from doctors. We have special thanks to Dr George as she has always been very kind, understanding, patient and helpful with us. Great GP surgery and amazing experience, thank you!
George Onaya: Was lucky enough to register with the practice when I came to Milton Keynes 9 years ago. They are very professional and and responsive to patient needs. The surgery usually provides a first come first served service and offer same day appointments if one rings in the morning, which is a very fair system. I wouldnt move anywhere else if I could.
Chris Gunter: Easy to get appointment, usually same day.Doctors and staff excellent and professional, wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.😀👍
IULIAN ICHIM-UNGUREANU: it is possible to reuse syringes for vaccination of children. they prepare the vaccine syringe before calling you in. leave them on the tray without a lid on the needle.
Steve Handley: Very efficient and friendly
Adrien Kecskemeti: Today I had such a good experience. They were so helpful and made me feel calm and relaxed throughout the whole experience. I called to book a consultation and I was called back in no time. The paramedic (Tom) was listening to me and all of my concerns, taking notes and confirming what I was saying and then informed me that I’ll be contacted to book a blood test. They called me again within 30 minutes and I was booked for the test on the same day. The nurse who took the blood was also lovely, kept talking to me to take my mind away. They made me feel so good about asking for help and took away any worries about dealing with any issues going forward - I had a really bad experience from the previous surgery I was registered at, which stopped me from visiting the surgery and getting the regular, necessary health checks that I needed.
Patricia Harris: I have been registered with the practice for 36 years. In that time both my husband and I have been treated, reassured and where necessary referred by this superb practice. All the staff treat patients with compassion, respect and expertise.I feel so vey fortunate to be part of their large, diverse patient base. Thank you all
Suzie Fitzpatrick: Always prompt and positive customer care and Dr. Multeveloe is a 🌟 star
Jack S: Very good experience with this place. Change from Neath Hill Health centre - don't recommended run away. This is very nice health centre always nice receptionist nice dr paramedics are awesome always ready to help. Thanks every one 😀
