Alex shopte: The shop looks great but the music is so horrible that I cant stay more than 10 min.
Cam Bascoe: Really poor customer service from this store. Carla/Carly the store manager is rude, obnoxious, nonchalant and ignorant. I had an issue that I explained. She said what she had to say, I listened, did not interrupt her and then she accused me of not allowing her to get a word in edgeways. She is a liar and as she had an audience, used it as an opportunity to try and humiliate me even though I let her say everything she had to say without interrupting. Because I challenged her by saying that I didn’t think it was fair that I am at a financial disadvantage due to head office packing a 4-6 month item of clothing in 9-12 wrapping. She said she won’t be spoken to like that. Her other team members who opened the packages as I didn’t even open them due to noticing the error immediately, then said that they have no idea if I swapped a 4-6 month item with a 9-12 month. Even though they opened it!! Will be making a formal complaint but from the reviews this is probably the worst H&M for customer service

Son J: Would not allow me to return H&M home products even though the returns policy states that it can be returned at any H&M store. Poor customer service and wouldn’t recommend.

Isobel Ryan: Poor customer service in the Milton Keynes Midsummer Boulevard store. Changing rooms closed at 5pm though store did not close until 6pm. I made a specific trip to the store and feel let down I left the shop without purchasing. As i chose to visit a shop rsther thsn putchase online! The member of staff I spoke to said it is store policy to close the changing rooms 1 hour before the store closes. I saw several members of staff milling about. This is not acceptable. Poor customer service!

C A: PAID OVER £2000 for a faulty laptop. John Lewis has completely gone down the drain! How disappointing, I once loved this company and choose it over all other UK shops but not anymore. They sold me a faulty MacBook Pro for over £2000. Apple themselves confirmed in their report that it is faulty however John Lewis are refusing to refund/replace the laptop they’re running away from their responsibility because they think they’ll get away with it but I’m not willing to fight until the end. Radio, news and court. Ive spent thousands with this company over the years their response is unacceptable. It’s time to hold these companies accountable. Please avoid this company, they are not the same anymore you’re better off going to Currys/Argos where your custom is valued and your consumer rights are taken seriously.
Modez Mods: Bought a BEAUTIFUL Green real leather (fake croc styled) radley london handbag and it was on sale so I bought it also bought some STUNNING vogue sunglasses, staff were really nice and helpful!

Chris Baylis: Visited the menswear department to find a pair of jeans to match a jacket that I'd bought at Charles Tyrwhitt - the lovely assistant who helped me (Sorry, I didn't catch her name) was amazing.... courteous, helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She also stayed whilst I tried on jeans to ensure I had all that I needed. The menswear range has shrunk, that's true.... but some very good stuff still, and excellent staff, too.

angie price: I came into John Lewis MK today, at the end of my tether. My Son is getting married next week and following two operations, I have gained weight and feel pretty yeuk. I desperately needed help and asked if the personal stylists could help me with an outfit. The app showed they were booked until June….but Chloe came to my rescue, she was so helpful, she found me a selection of outfits, dresses, jackets, fascinator, shoes and bags.I cannot thank Chloe enough. Thank you for coming to my rescue, you will never know what a difference you made. I hope you will be recognised for going the extra mile, a thank you really isn’t enough!

Hannah Lancaster: Incredibly disappointing service.No one was able to serve me on the MAC counter. It was Good Friday, however the whole section was unmanned. I asked an advisor from the next counter along to help me and she told me to come back in an hour because the girl working there was on her break. I asked if anyone else could serve me? She said no even though there were at least 5 advisors on different sections doing nothing.Shocking organisation, management and service. When I complained to her about this, she told me to go to Boots as they also sold MAC Cosmetics. Something is wrong with the policy of concession counters in this store!

Linda Mann: Went today to try on shoes for a wedding as I have ordered so many online and the sizing is so random I thought trying on in store would be a better idea. No staff, hardly any shoes to try on as a very limited selection and no one about to get the other sizes! Gave up and went to the make up counters. Either staff stood around chatting to each other or one girl who was serving someone else and had no time to help me. Gave up came home ordered on line! 🤷‍♀️
nahman hussain: I have had to leave a review following such a poor service from John Lewis. I wanted to order some blinds for my new home. They had to do the quotation 5 times to eventually get it right. I sent endless emails for answers to queries I had. they would not answer them fully.I asked that the service was so shocking that they should offer some compensation. Their stance was that they will only compensate once the order has been placed and arrived. They were holding me to ransom and dictating matters when they were completely at fault.I did not expect this from them, place your orders elsewhere guys.

E: Absolutely shocked by the service received in John Lewis Milton Keynes - staff prefer to stand at chat at the ground floor tills rather than serve customers. I mentioned at the till that I wasn’t impressed by the staff standing having a personal conversation whilst customers are willing to wait and the member of staff serving me said nothing. The member of staff in question did not have a name badge on and when I asked what her name is she wouldn’t tell me - after challenging her she told me her name was Ellie. Apparently the manager was too busy to come over and speak to me. I’ll stick with Amazon next time, it’s cheaper and their customer service is better.
Tashan Palmer: I when in to this place today. To browse for a new TV, but there was helpful-ish. Then I went over to the Apple section and oh my gosh There was no one there to assist me. And I did not know where anybody was to help me. I did manage to find somebody near the Samson area. When I asked the person does they do Apple MagSafe iMac book pro magsafe cable in different colours he did not have no clue. He did not check on his system if they do different colours or it’s just one colour. I ended up walking to Apple store just to get what I wanted, which was a big disappointment and a waste of time. Going to JL. In this experience, I’m just going to go straight to the Apple Store and just forget trying JL.
Alex D: I really like the location, layout and scale of this branch of John Lewis but unfortunately over time I’ve witnessed the customer service standards deteriorating to the lowest of levels. On a recent visit there was an over abundance of staff on the shop floor (more staff than customers) and not a single member of staff approached me to offer help to find the product I was looking for. When I eventually found the item, I was then passed to 3 members of staff before I could pay for the product. Staff are not vigilant, and are unfriendly and unapproachable. It’s no surprise that JL is now experiencing financial losses nearing £78 million. They have the product range and brand right, but the customer service is abysmal. Staff are more interested in chatting among themselves rather than helping the people who are contributing to their salaries. Such a pity as the Milton Keynes store is probably the best designed branch in the UK.
Chrissie Burrell: Went in for some knitting wool. Empty shelves of all but the Rowan wools. Left empty-handed.Had another abortive trip today. Went in for curtain tape, ribbon, and sewing thread. No thin curtain tape, ribbons only sold by the reel. Hobbeycraft came up tops. Staff are lovely, but they have no stock. Maybe John Lewis plan to close this store?

Courtney Appoh: Went to Michael Korea shop today at 12:40pm two lady’s were working in there today, blonde women and brown hair women, me and my partner walked into the shop did not get greeted by these lady’s we just got a funny look by the staff like we could not afford anything even tho I own 9 bags of Michael kors and Etc. The staff only started speaking to us when I looked at a bag I wanted. Staff there have bad attitude problem, very Judge mental, would never go back I would never give them my money

Kit: Won't be returning! Tried selling me a bag for £440 that they are discounting "as good will" for £378 that's price tag marked at £350! This is after the lady saying that she will sell the bag for £350 in the first place. AVOID!
