Hamleys The Finest Toy Shop in The World: what do users think?
James Howard: Not much choice
Louise Gaffney: Just small, still ridiculously overpriced.
ivy kubu: Made an order online 8th December received a confirmation email then nothing until I received a refund a week later with nothing to say why. The toy is now sold out everywhere else I could get it. I will never ever order from them again and reading the reviews it seems this is a regular occurrence so avoid at all cost
Bulk (Bulk1986): It's a nice shop with friendly staff, but got my daughter a bath toy to only find out it does not work will be returning it.
Gillian Perris: Just wanted to say a big thank you to store manager Jason and his team for outstanding customer services today 25th September in Milton Keynes. He resolved a problem we had when we went to the Regent Street store recently. Left MK store with 2 very happy children. Thank you. Much appreciated. But please can you make Hamleys in MK a bigger store!!
Chris: Shop was pretty basic and uninspiring.
Jordan Blake: It's a pale comparison to the Hamleys in Regent Street but although small there is a good choice of toys for even the fussiest child. Staff are helpful and polite, not a lot more you can ask from a small retail store.
Chris Ashford: Note sure why this shop is here minimal stock and expensive
Elvina Calder (English rose): Very small
James Fagg: Really looked forward to visiting the new(ish) store. Total let down. Not a lot of variety, unit space too small for a brand like Hamlets hence not a lot of variety. Not very engaging for kids, staff very timid. Not much in way of infant selection for toys.
michael hurley: It's good for young children but not so great for older kid's.
Kim Tompkins: We all ways go amzon1st time me and my daughter who has Autism gone into shop Hanley very nice Smiling staff , friendly ,helpful ,understandAll my daughter want to do puck up everything put on floor thay do not mind amazing now my daughter play all toys Sensory in bedroom .We come back again 👩‍👧trying to sin in Trying to do Scramble up words and letters comes up with error 😬 want to join them
Poppie Craigie: The manager was on his phone the whole time. Didn’t help at all
LR: Hamleys doesn't deserve 1 star. Ordered on 14th (online said 20th December for Christmas delivery.) On the 22nd I spoke to customer Services who confirmed my order and said it would arrive by 24th. It didn't. I phone CS again on 24th. 'Oh, it's still in the warehouse, not been dispatched yet. Do you still want it?' I said yes please but despite phoning again it still has not arrived. CS does not know why not. They took my phone number but never update me. Avoid. At all costs. I will NEVER order from Hamleys again. Very unreliable. It took around 30 minutes to get through to Customer Services. They have wasted a lot of my time, and could potentially have ruined a child's Christmas.
Bhavan kaur Birdi: Avoid at All costs

Smyths Toys Superstores: what do users think?
wayne murphy: Dealt with a chap called Chaz on the gaming section, extremely helpful with a query we had with my sons oculus quest and very helpful with our purchases, a credit to your store
Chioma Obasi: Smyth Toys superstore at Milton Keynes is a popular destination for toy shoppers.I think everyone loves toys as the store was a bit busy on a Monday but luckily they are well staffed.Their shelves are well-organized and well-stocked, with a vast range of toys and games for children of all ages.Their prices aren’t so bad as they are competitive from my opinion.Overall, Smyth Toys superstore at Milton Keynes appears to be a well-organized and offers a great selection of toys at reasonable prices. Whether you're looking for the latest toys or classic favorites, the store seems to have something for everyone.
Joy kam: I was disgusted with Smith Milton keynes staff. I would give them 0 stars if possible. Bought a scooter which was faulty, went and returned it after 2 days as it was faulty and I asked for exchange or refund but they decided to repaire it. Refused to refund or exchange. The lady I found at the till was so rude snd full of attitude. Never got to see the manager even after waiting for over 45 minutes.Be informed that smiths are only nice when you are buying but will try anything not to exchange products or refund moneyI will never buy anything from them ever!
Scott: Great service very friendly staff and helpful, didn't realise how much stuff they had here, I will be back
A Soor: 👍
Shaun: Everything your little ones want under one roof
Wade Smith: The Store has a ton of toys but it had an odd, possibly musty smell. Also they will not accept foreign credit cards without pin or debit cards. Not a bad experience but I will probably Void this store in the future.
Another Reviewer: Very pleased with the service a store assistant gave us today helping us find a child’s table and chairs. Good price and very helpful we are very happy with the service received today thanks again! Didn’t get her name she carried it to the till for us also and the lady on the checkout was polite and friendly.
Matthew Shepherd: Lots of great toys, from modern to classics. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
Tom Partridge: Absolute con artists
daniel evans: It’s toys, who doesn’t love toys. I like coming to smyths, mainly because they are the last bastion of being a child and what a time to be a child, the choice is vast. Nice to see they stock pop culture as well and have good deals sometimes. A bit crowded (it’s November in a toy shop, what was I expecting?) but still room to move around. Would be nice to see a wider range of scalextric, hornby and higher end rc cars but I guess the demand is what drives the stock and those 3 are very niche these days.Good level of gaming including Nintendo switch and gaming accessories.
Arron Small: Store was semi busy (monday), but had a well staffed presence. All toys where organised and well presented. Range wise, you can find all the more popular items here which is great in the event that you want to pick up something faster then using the likes of ‘Amazon courier service’ Prime. For those that still appreciate high street shopping, this store is a great addition to the high street artillery 😎. Please don’t do a Toys R Us guys!! Protect this store at all costs.
Ian Brown: Problem with Smyths toys is they have the monopoly on toy stores so prices are high, window shop then check prices online and pay lower prices, also be aware of the in store deals which are falsely advertised
Robert Parnica: A store full of toys of all kinds of toys you will find even the smallest toy, at a good price I recommend SMYTHS TOYS for all children, Santa Claus It's almost Christmas and stay close By SMYTHS Your GIFT is on its way Santa Claus
Shaniel King: We went to the store to look at prams, this was the first store we had been in, we knew absolutely nothing. Holly the assistant was totally amazing, nothing was too much for her. We tried several prams. Hollys product knowledge was excellent. She answered every question, showed us how to open and close them all, allowed us to try them all. We will definitely being going back there.
Ginie Kwong: Poor service. Staff not friendly
Tyrese Chan: Bad experience with the staff. Never come again
Philip: I purchased an item and returned it; as it was not fit for purpose yet they kept my money yet instead of sending to the manufacture for testing the manager with no qualified skills to assess the faulty product.Be warned they follow their own policies and procedures ignoring the consumer right act. I am speaking to the credit card and the manufacture for alternative suitable replacement product which is required by the shop under the consumer rights act but no offered. No goods or refund so trading standards will be informed about this breach of contract. Never buy here anything from here.
Chrissy Simkins: I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Zak who helped me and my husband today when looking for twin pushchairs. He was extremely informative and helpful this has caused us to want to purchase the pushchair he helped us with. Many thanks
Toni Lucca: Absolutely love this shop! Such a wide variety of products, staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Only downside is that it gets very busy as it is so well loved!
david beach: Free lego and candy floss 😋 nice SMYTHS YOUS

Richard Jones: An excellent wargaming/boardgaming shop. A huge range of miniatures and modern board games. Prices are reasonable and they also have gaming sessions for gamers to socialise. david pontin: Great place for gaming and comics and food
Stevie Olverson: This is a fantastic shop!!! The staff were nice and very helpful and will definitely be back! 🏼
Dave Trendell: Great shop! Great staff! Highly recommended!
George Burchett: wargames workshop is arguably one of the best board gaming stores in the area, the constant events and the diversity of those events are a brilliant reason to come in. the staff are all friendly and are more than happy to chat with you about anything to do with boardgames. the shop itself has a pure treasure trove of products mostly at discounted prices which is dangerously easy to get lost in. overall one of the top shops in MK and a brilliant event space for wargaming or TCG'S
Simon Bowler: Tiny little store stacked to the rafters with games and collectables. Love it

A complaint has been made to head office as they have also put the item back up for sale as it is showing in stock and I was told the one I bought was the only one in stock.Good job I checked the box and noticed it was already opened before leaving. Now have to wait 5 working days for a refund. Ridiculous.Update: After a call from head office, my issue with the service was fully resolved. The lady who dealt with my complaint, was very nice.
Dawn A-K: Very efficient team. In store for on-line collection. Was in and out in under 5 mins.

Marley Keet: Done a order online and they Took my money out my bank but didn't give me my order honestly disgusted and I've got no emails to say it was declined and every time I try to ring them I get hung up onAnd I was ordering my kids Christmas presentsdisgraceful can't belive it will never order from this store again
Tariq: I ordered a game for £20.99 and they charged me for it and did not send me a text or email for the order number I wanted a refund Argos would not give never order online again!
Glen Foster: Delivered parcel to the wrong address a divert that they said had been out through our letterbox. That’s a pretty big letterbox if so. Was completely unhelpful on the phone and we had to go walk around our streets to try and find the house they’d delivered it to. They basically just dropped it at any house to get the delivery done, knowing full well it wasn’t the right address.

Justin Langdon: This isn't the biggest Lego store but they do stock a good variety of the ranges .The staff are really friendly and helpful, its worth joining the VIP membership in my opinion as you build up points every time you make a purchase that convert to pounds off. Saved myself six pounds on my most recent visit.....

Kamala Adams: My boyfriend and I decided to make lego figures of each other for our anniversary but there seemed a lot less hair and clothes options than when I made 3 figures as a kid! We struggled to make ones that even slightly resembled us and all red hair had a hat on - disappointed but I suppose it’s not made for trying to make real life people, although it would be nice to expand the options.
